There is a bit of a learning curve when adding a pharmacy to a patient, however, once you figure it out it’s easy. Even if you have a DEA sign on app, it doesn’t seem to work well when another provider uses the computer and I try to send a scheduled med via app.
I like this app, but still find desktop version easier to navigate. Hopefully it will become more intuitive for the iPhone, and I won’t have to travel with my laptop!!!
I have been using MDTOOLBOX since 5 years now. Never had a problem. Extremely satisfied with the app version and the web version. Definitely recommended service to anyone who is looking for a Rx service.
MDToolbox app is not user friendly. Actually, I hate using it! Considering how many providers use it you would think their app would be much more developed. iPrescribe is much better all around and next year I’ll be changing over to that service for better features and a great, user friendly app! Improve your application both desktop and mobile!!
Horrible app. Doesn’t allow you to complete the verification part of your account. The sigs don’t have the correct options. The quantity keeps getting changed when I change the duration. No I don’t want to dispense 365 Advair inhalers. I want one inhaler with 12 refills over 365 days. Then it keeps crashing. The app crashed 4 times while trying to send an Rx. I gave up and ended up calling it in via phone.
For small practice with small clientele and for the cost, I have been pleased. I have used many larger systems and this one is functional and cost effective for my use. I am going to keep using the desktop and the mobile app for my concierge practice.
I find it extremely difficult and frustrating to locate pharmacies or change pharmacies on WebMD. I will probably switch vendors next year for this reason.
This app is constantly freezing. The save and send button doesn’t work, and you have to go through a lengthy workaround. The app doesn’t allow auto fill of sign in information. The developers have not kept up with the technology.
The app freezes after sending one prescription, needs to be closed, then opened and you have to sign in again. The sign-in process is tedious, so signing in to send in one prescription at a time for every patient is tiresome.
Poor product. Difficult to get to work properly. We follow the directions and it says the script has printed. Not trying to print, but trying to get it to send electronically as required by AZ. If you need to use electronically look elsewhere.
1) Bottom Line: Longer time to fiddle with vs writing ‘script. 2) Doesn’t allow brief brain rest to do mostly mindless copying. 3) Mistakes harder to correct & time-consuming 4) “ often not apparent until next day 5) Episodic transmission failure, ie, the “ ‘disappearing’ script” 6) To understand how to support MD requires more sophistication than boss and her minions understand.
