Great content, however riddled with bugs

The content seems chockfull of quality exercises/educational vids, however the app has some fresh launch bugs on iOS including: camera sometimes does not take progress photos, the body dysmorphia/jaw joint health test mentioned during signup were not provided to me, progress photos on the profile page sometimes appear blank. Hoping the bugs can be fixed in the near future!

App doesn’t work

After I created a login and watched the intro video by Dr. Mew, I hit the “Let’s Go” button to take my profile pictures. It asked to access my camera. I granted the permission, but it continued to bring up the same message to access my camera. It still took my picture but it would not bring up the image to help center your face. Afterwards, it didn’t save the photo and would not let me continue past that page. I was stuck. I tried to close out and start over again, and deleted and reinstalled the app, but still the same problem. Since I couldn’t get past that page, or access any other parts of the app, I immediately deleted it and canceled my subscription. Hopefully it doesn’t charge me because I read that some other users had that problem despite the 3 day free trial. Too bad this app didn’t work because I have watched videos by Dr. Mew, and I was really excited to use the app. Huge disappointment!!!

It doesn’t remember me

I’m having an issue where the app seems to forget me and asks me the intro questions every time i open it. Why am I here, when did i start mewing, etc. Those answers shouldn’t be expected to change between tuesday and friday. Today it even asked me to take my profile photos again. The first ones I took three days ago are gone. As I understand it, we only need to take them once a month. Either I don't know how to work this app or the app has a bug.

Cant access account

I paid the anual subscription, everything was good. After i updated it, it says none of my emails are the correct ones. Keep in mind i only have 2. I was logged in as Alanis Rivera.

Fraudulent & Scam

To use the app, it clearly says in bold “Pick a plan. 3 days free. Cancel anytime.” So I did pick a plan, and tried the app for a few minutes, and I cancelled immediately within the first few minutes. Which is in my “ 1st it free day”. Then 3 days later I get charged. Unable to get a refund and Apple keeps sending me to contact the developer on their website. There is no option to contact them, and I can’t get my money back.

Best app to learn about mewing

This app has taught me so much about why mewing is important and works. It is super helpful that all of the information I need to know about correct tongue posture and keeping the mouth closed is conveniently in one app.

No free trial. Forced to have scored over 30 on BDD test

I would like to have the opportunity to try some TV big before buying it, especially something like this. I don’t have BDD. I scored less tha 30 but the app won’t let me continue until after I check that I scored over the 30 BDD threshold. That’s irritating and I still haven’t even gotten into the actual app yet.

Helpful information

A wealth of helpful information via clear video instruction. I would really like it if there was more clarity about which exercises to do and how often, such as a daily routine for beginner, intermediate, and advanced users.

Frozen on first page

The first page where you check that you don’t have body dysmorphia from a quiz that doesn’t seem to exist as well as another question is just sitting there with no way to click done or move to another page. Where can one get support for this app that currently is not working and rendered useless after paying $25?

Reset password link doesn’t work.

If you forget your password, there’s an option to send you a link to your email to reset it but it doesn’t seem to work.

Frustrating

It’s pretty frustrating to open the app and 1st: it forces you to sign up. I mean, ok, I could live with that.. But bigger problem is that there’s no free version, there’s no free trial. Yes, I know it say there’s 3 days trial, but whenever you checkout in the App Store - there’s no 3 free days, it just prompts you to pay and that’s it. There’s no way in heck I’m going to pay for something I haven’t seen. Bye.

All the mewing information in one spot and put into different categories and programs. Really like the layout and it is easy to use

Good, but needs to be updated.

Doesn’t have the feel of a “modern” app yet, and doesn’t have this ‘timer’ that is talked about in one of the videos.

Not worth it, buggy, sleazy payment issue

It says 3 free days but you have to submit payment right away...it just is PENDING for 3 days and you can't cancel, you just have to wait and then request a refund. And it's not worth it. The app is buggy and keeps asking the intro/about you questions over and over.

False advertising.

It says free 3 days but when you go to click on it, it’s disappeared. So you can only pay monthly or longer I don’t wanna buy something that I may not like so I guess I’m gonna be moving along elsewhere. Too bad cause it looked interesting. Waste of my time!!

Unable to use

I am unable to use the app because it will not allow me to complete my first step which is taking a photo even though I have given the app camera access.

Don’t update

Clearer than YouTube

It’s much more in depth than the Orthotropics YouTube channel, but unfortunately the beginner’s course is inordinately organized, and asks the user to reference more advanced videos to complete a beginner exercise. There are also some minor bugs, but it’s overall a great app.

“In app” purchases here = subscribing before even trying.

First thing after I create an account, I find out you can’t even do the 3 day free trial without agreeing to a subscription first, which I am not willing to do. So I was glad to see there was a Delete Account link. Unfortunately, it does not work! All it does is bring you to a Redeem Code page, so now they have my information and I have no way to remove it. If I delete the app it isn’t deleting my account just the app. I would like all of my information/account deleted.

Not even basic info

I can understand having people purchase subscriptions for the extra bells and whistles that come with an app. I thought the app would provide basic information, diagrams and charts of ways to help you Mew correctly. To provide absolutely no information at all without a purchase seems counterproductive to what Dr. Mew tries to do on YouTube. Disappointed
