I've been a user for 2 years, and a paid subscriber for most of that time. The developer's description says this app is "the most powerful way of browsing Tumblr." They are not lying or even exaggerating. The rest of the description tell you about the features so I won't repeat those here. There is a short learning curve to understand what all this app offers, but it's pretty easy. I can summarize by saying that of all iOS apps I've ever paid for: 1- it works the best (does what it says it will do, and it does a lot); 2- it offers tons of flexibility and adjustability in its feature set; 3- the user interface is pretty intuitive; and 4- I enjoy using this one the most. While you don't have to subscribe to use it, and I don't usually like subscription-based apps, I find the subscription feature set for this app to be worth every penny. Also, I think the developer SHOULD be rewarded for the work he's obviously put into this.
I am blown away that the developer rolled out an update to support older ios versions such as mine 1 day after reporting a performance bug within the best Tumblr alternative app in the entire app store. I used the feedback option within the app to send an email explaining what problem I was having, and I was shocked I got a professional email reply in less than a day, but completely blown away they fixed it in less than 24 hours with an update waiting in the app store for me to download. I have 250+ feeds and this app handles all of them so efficiently and even gives you the ability to give you a hands free slide show. There are so many excellent features not even listed in the description. Again 100 stars for the app itself and 100 stars to the app developer (i wish I could give 100). I absolutely recommend this app to everyone that uses Tumblr!!!!
This app is a MUST HAVE for anyone on Tumblr who likes to blog from their phone. I don't know why it doesn't have more of a following, because it's better than the official version in every conceivable way. The most amazing feature? It doesn't force a full refresh every time you switch to a different app and return! You can turn your phone OFF, and Fastfeed still has your back - whatever blog or tag your were browsing is right there when you open it up again. It also lets you open any Tumblr links in tabs, which is one of those "where has this been all my life??" features. That's just scratching the surface, too - seriously, your mind will be blown at how much control you suddenly have over your Tumblr experience. I've been using it for six months, and I'm still amazed by it. I can't even imagine going back to the official version!
The reblog function doesn’t work even after purchasing the app. A little disappointed. Update: Because I had saved something to drafts every time I held the reblog button it would say “reblogging” when it would in fact be saving it to my drafts. I tried signing out and had to eventually delete the app and reinstall it. I know on xkit it says a little confirmation that it’s been queued versus reblogged. This may be a nice feature to see. Still a great app because purchasing removes ads from your tumblr experience. Just a hiccup that will hopefully be resolved in future versions. Would recommend.

The ability to filter everything by Date/Photo/Video is great! Please fix the “Search” option which doesn’t work sometimes. For example, if searching by tag (typing it yourself), sometimes it won’t give results, but if you find that tag already on a post and click it, it gives results. It would also be great to have the filter options mentioned above also applicable to user Likes and Search results. The search feature seems to only be good for very recent posts, from that day.
Having virtually every tumblr app in the App Store. Being one of the developers first customers I truly have to say this app is by far the best here are the following reasons in my opinion excellent customer service Constant updates for more features and performance this developer constantly strives to deliver a better to the App Store. I have not been impressed with other developers in the App Store bought a truly must say this developer is a credit to themselves and App Store. I am running multiple blogs with this app. It is truly the Rolls Royce of Tumblr Apps.
My bad, I had written a poor review earlier as my account was hacked after I started using this app and had assumed they were correlated. The developer messaged me to inform me that this couldn’t have happened because of the app as it does not collect that sort of information. It also seems many people experienced the same hack I had and it was a broader Tumblr hack. In all it’s a great app that has been really helpful to me as a person with ADHD.
This app isn't perfect, but it comes pretty close! It works WAY better than the Tumblr app. It downloads faster, starts faster, remembers where you're at better, and doesn't crash after being used awhile. The UI is intuitive and lets you enjoy the content in an effortless manner. I'm very glad I found this app.

Edit: I updated my review because it works fine except for the messaging part. It’s not their fault if Tumblr doesn’t provide access to it. I tried it with two different accounts and it only had one or two old messages. I need an app that allows for messaging the people that I follow and who follows me. That’s one of the best parts of Tumblr in my opinion
I just found this app to test it out. I wanted to know if I could see all the censored posts instead of dealing with half the posts blurred on actual tumblr. Well I can! Now that I can do this I can access accounts that I use to look at for inspiration for my art! I just subscribed for a year so I don’t have to worry about ads or any other isssues!! Thank you!!!!
Amazing app!! Love the app but I’m unable to see a whole bunch of liked posts. After like 50-80 posts it skips a whole recently liked stuff. I really like to go back through my likes and download stuff so it’s kinda frustrating.
I like how it's easy to use since I can't use the tumblr app since the last update. It's easy to use. Everything is easy to learn. Only thing,I wish they had a way to be able to message the accounts. Without it,it feels like you're cut off from the world.
I really love this app. I use it as my main tumblr reader. But I notice it does a poor job of memory management. Really slows down on iOS devices with less than 2GB of memory; will even suddenly quit. Also, would really love if it would let me sort the list of tumblrs I am following alphabetically, rather than (I presume) reverse chronologically. The memory issue needs to be addressed, though.
Often times I’d use the vanilla tumblr app and get tired of the features they’d tack on. The temptation of the fyp. No one wanted that. Now the ads are obtrusive again. Thankfully multitab will do Adblock at a super cheap rate and give me a very good and normal scrolling experience!
I loved Tumblr but I was having such a hard time with the app freezing and quitting that I wasnt even bothering with it anymore. Then I did a search and somebody posted a mention about this app, wow!!! It’s flawless. Friendly interface. Someone put some thought into enjoying the Tumblr experience. Get it!!!
I’ve been a paid supporter a couple of years now and still love this app. It’s the only one I use for Tumblr. Today I noticed I can’t share to my fb feed, only to stories. Is this a bug or a new change?
Really good app, it just needs to be able to view archives (that would be the cherry on top) and it would also be nice if the app didnt slow down on showing some posts when you scroll down. Usually have to force close and open again. Must be a bug. Other than that, solid app.
Finally, a way to approximate some of the things I've had to do in browser settings to make this site less user-hostile. Thank you! I've already recommended this to others.
I don't use this as my primary way of viewing Tumblr, but it's indispensible for my use of the service. It has two things that Tumblr for some reason hasn't implemented: a grid view for everything (not just tags and some users) and an equivalent of Twitter lists ("FeedSets").
It would be nice to have a consolidated dashboard without duplicate re blogged posts. For example User1 will reblog a posts from User2, User3, and User4. Next User2 will reblog a post for User1, User3, and User4. And so on. The result is dozens of duplicate reblogged posts. It would be cool if this consolidated dashboard feed feature would have a single post but list each user that reblogged "reblogged by user1, user2, user3, user4, etc"
Extremely fast, intuitive, and supports my older iPad like a champ. Makes using Tumblr fun again on my iOS version 9.3.5 iPad. Suggest that you use this if the official Tumblr app no longer works for you.
This app is amazing! For a visual thinker it is the grand piano of apps! … one quick query … where did the search box move to? I am on a latest gen iPad and I can’t seem to find it!
I have been a user of MultiTab for Tumblr on my phone for a long time. It has save me lots of time and head-ache. Using the app with my M1 mac is pure joy. Keep up the great work, thanks for your apps!
If you use 3rd party oauth to login, you must not have the official tumblr app installed, or it will hijack your login attempts. Once that is taken care of, it’s a nice app that seems better than the official one.
No joke this is the bomb for users like me that tumble thru and get the new new on the low u gots to know that the multi view is fo show. Thank you and don’t hesistate to buy.

This app is simply the bee’s knees of tumblr apps. The features are amazing and the iOS support is top notch. When you really want to drill deep into a tumblr rabbit hole, there is no better app to use. Very nice work.
About 2 weeks ago, I would rate this app 5 stars. But lately it keeps crashing !! Very annoying! It is worse on “dashboard”. Please fix! UPDATE: The app developers are VERY responsive to issues that are brought to their attention. The crashing problem was fixed almost immediately!! Back to a 5 star rating! Thanks, guys!
Hands down best app for tumblr. Love you he slideshow capability. Now if I can get them to build app for Dropbox. They would make a killing. But awesome app.
Went to login and it tells me my password is wrong. Ok, no problem. Haven’t logged in manually, maybe I’m wrong. Go change my account in Tumblr website. Come back, go to login...cannot have two open tumblr accounts on your phone. Go back. Open Tumblr App, log out and retry FFT2. Password wrong but try again this time use the Captcha. Cool, I am in...no, password wrong. Hm. And why is my keyboard opening and closing... Log into Tumnlr. Account fine. Password works. Try FFT2 again. Wrong password and email. I give up.

I liked this app because it let me do a slide show of Tumblr pics. But now the app only displays 30 of my 40 favorited pics and stops at 30 in the slideshow. And then the next day it will show them all. And then it will be back to only showing 2/3 of my favorites!

The latest update appears to have borked Face ID on iPhone X as the FF crashes and throws you back to the home screen. Please address devs, putting a PIN each time to unlock is lame.
I spent an hour writing a blog post and the app placed the post into the queue section. It then proceeded to erase the unposted blog. It isn’t in the queues section anymore. It’s not posted to My blog. It wasted an hour of my life. I am indescribably infuriated now.
