My main issue with the app is that 9/10 times, when I log on the app “freezes” and just says “hi” with no name. I have to click one of the tabs at the bottom in order to do anything. Also I think the app could go for a face lift. The UI is quite dated.
So they have went all in on virtual. Now you cannot get a physical card anymore, just a piece of paper. They are pushing their cards to virtual. Only problem is your app does not work! Cannot create virtual card on wallet. App just crashes when you try. This has been a problem it seems for almost ONE YEAR! Here we are today and the app still crashes and does not work. You need to rethink your push into virtual if you cannot even provide an app that works. As customers, we deserve better!
Number of reviews here saying that the app crashes and that they can’t save their ID card. I just installed it and wanted to say that it works just fine for me on my iPhone 11.
Recent update fixed the crash with trying to add the card to apple wallet. App seems to work for what I need it for, though it’s still a bit rough around the edges. I appreciate the developers fixing the issue with the new iOS promptly.
The BCBS of MS app crashes every time I try to add my card to the apple wallet. So frustrating. Would be nice to have on my phone so that when I’m traveling I don’t have to take the physical card with me.
App never works. Credentials work on mobile site, but never on the app. The times it has worked, in the past, you’re logged out for no reason. I use the fingerprint to get in. Why does it have to be reset over & over & over & over...
I downloaded this app hoping to link it with my fitness watch to get some type of credit like other insurance companies offer. This app is worthless! Offers no incentives I have the app.
Terrible app with zero functionality. Whoever is in charge of the development division who signed off on this should probably go ahead and resign. Terrible.
Will NOT allow me to add card to Apple Wallet. Every time I attempt to, the app crashes. No developer support at all. When clicking the support link, it loops you back to the App Store.
Why is Mississippi so behind? Look at the same app for the other state’s versions and supposedly they work well… but Mississippi’s? Doesn’t work. Shocker
I can tell that the programmer worked hard on this app and it seems to be a good start. But the app has a few growing pains yet if it is going to survive. You can't input a password, but must wait on a temporary one by email. Then, you can't change it without getting a "Timed out" message. The app constantly times out and throws you back to the log in screen. Other details like what kind of service was performed by a doctor are not available. If you are like me, you get bills from some unknown doctor that read an X-ray or subbed for your regular doctor when he/she was out of town. This kind of mystery is not easily solved with the current app.
The Touch ID is my favorite feature of the App. It allows me to login quickly when I need to access my ID card or other information. Another useful feature is the provider search. I can easily get directions to the doctors office by searching for them and selecting their address. This will open up maps and give me directions. The App makes it easy to read and keep track of my claims. The summary of claims is very useful as well.
If I could give this 1/2 a star I would! I was only able to login to MyBlue twice. And that was after several attempts. Now I cannot login at all. It only gives me the option to enter my user name, no option to enter password. And the two times I was able to log on it did not give me an option for my I D card, the SOLE purpose of this app! I called Blue Cross and the nice lady told me she could see my I D card on her computer. Great, so could I, does that mean I have to carry my computer with me to doctor appointments to show them my "virtual" I D card? Absolutely worthless since I cannot even log in.
This app for MS members is wonderful! It's so easy to navigate plus everything you need is immediately available on the screen when you log in. It provides me with all information needed for myself and for my provider. I've never had any issues with this app.
My plan (or maybe all plans now) require that I only use a virtual ID card which sounds nice except that app rarely functions long enough to show it to anyone. Of course ALL doctors office want to copy 'front and back' of the card and it isn't even possible to print or save the image other than a screenshot. Pretty terrible planning.
Simple and an easy way to get myBlue info. This app even contains a virtual image of my insurance card and coverage plan! Great stuff...just keep it up-to-date please...
I finally got my account, I log in and it makes me do a "wellness journey" so I finish it because it doesn't let me close out of it and when I hit continue... "Server error has occurred" it's ridiculous. This application is suppose to make things easier. Instead it makes everything more complicated.
This app is super. Can see all my claims, have a virtual ID card on my iPhone and more. Hats off for developing this app. Much appreciated. Phil Hardwick
Don't bother wasting your time with this app. I downloaded this app years ago and then got rid of it because it wouldn't recognize my login and password, so jump forward to the present and no change, it doesn't even recognize the member ID that they gave me.
