Please create same portal features for OHP patients
OHP patients cannot see any of their personal information, visits, claims etc…so there’s no point in using intouch unless you have their private insurance. It’s literally the same general info as on the website (handbook, find a doctor etc..) Sad, the same importance is not given to OHP patients. This would help not only patients to see how many specific visits they have left and so forth, but also save the Pacific Source phone operators lots of time in having to take so many calls to clarify such things.
Yes this app is terrible! You can’t view claims only EOBs. Can’t figure out how to add spouse to account to view their EOBs (or their claims). We have coverage through another carrier as well and their app is 1000% times better. Not only can we view coverage, and find a doctor on the other app, but we can view claims history too (for everyone on the policy)!! It would save so many phone calls to Pacific Source CS if we could just see all of our claims while using the app! Get it together Pacific Source!
I used to critique websites in order to make some pocket change. This is one of the most user unfriendly designs I’ve seen. The search feature is overly complicated and doesn’t give the results like it should. I’m on an iPhone 7. I should be able to put in my insurance ID number, the type of doctor I need and get results. I should not even have to put in my insurance plan because my ID number should be enough.
The app itself is great to use and navigate.. if you can read it... on my phone it shows a BLACK background with DARK GREY lettering.. my HR at work and even the Doctors and Nurses have to struggle to read anything.. it was either a large oversight or just Lazy designing... or Pacific Source just doesn’t want us to use benefits... Great Company POOR app design...
You have no access to anything important, can’t set appointments or even find out who your doctor is, seems PacificSource is waisting my time on purpose with this app that does nothing real,
The new version is much better than the prior. The layout is much better and you can view EOBs... However this is where the "bad" shows up. Unfortunately the EOBs are grouped together in an unknown way. I suspect it is by Paid Date or maybe even the Location. but I'm not sure because neither of those fields are listed. This makes finding an EOB for a specific visit very difficult. The EOB groupings have a line that shows the first service date and the first provider. Below it lists just the total number of additional service dates and the total number of other providers. So to find specific visits to specific doctors you may have to view every single EOB to find it. What would be better is if it listed all visits by service date. Or have then grouped under the billing provider. Actually listing these fields and the paid date field would be helpful. So it's a great new feature but one that doesn't as well as it should. Aside from that the app works pretty good. It's great to have a digital ID card (even though you have to give your entire phone to the receptionist so they can scan it. If you have PS insurance get this app but don't think it has replaced InTouch yet. Maybe next time n
The app does not work on my iPhone. It is frozen on the first step, “select your plan” page making it impossible to use. I see many other people have problems using this app, given the very low rating. It is important for people to have access to their explanation of benefits. PacificSource: Please have the development team fix your app. Thank you.
The app does not list all family members in plan so I am unable to see benefits, how close deductible is to being met, or pending/completed transactions. Also lists all medical procedures as No charge, although it would be nice, it is completely inaccurate.
For the past week, I have been unable to log in using this app. I have gone onto the website and updated my password and verified my username is correct but when trying to log on the app I keep getting a wrong username password error. This is irritating as I like to keep track of what is going on with my insurance information.
