This looks like the one
I am 53 years old, and I can confidently say I've done every diet plan and used every app, free and subscription, and have never felt like I had the right one. Or I would have to use more than one app in order to keep track of everything I needed – think, exercise app, tracking app, fasting app, etc. Elmo has everything for me in one place. I've only been using the app for just over a week and I appreciate the information regarding nutrition. Even though I know most of it right now, it is just the beginning, it never hurts to go over it. Let's face it if I was utilizing this information that I "no"! I also like that I am in control of the amount of information I get each day. Other apps just seem to fly through the material and I felt I was never able to put the info into practice quick enough to have it become a habit. My only criticism thus far is that there's no place to journal. After reading the lessons, and sometimes just for general thoughts, I would like to be able to open a Journal right in the app to record my thoughts. I'd also like to see a feature where when they ask you what your goal is and your many goals and what you're working on for the week you could create some type of flyer and just print it out if you wanted to have a front of you at all times. I am looking forward to continuing. So far this is money well spent.

Most complete fitness app out there!
I rarely write reviews but had to pen this one. I have spent hours and money testing out different apps. My goal is to find sort of a one in all app to track most of everything I want (fasting and nutrition). This app has it including throw in bonuses. The only thing missing I have seen in other apps is ketone and glucose tracking. Please add these and you would be in a category all by yourself. The incredible thing is that the free version is just packed. I had to forfeit my annual subscription for Lose It to switch. Well, I don’t want to log nutrition in one app and then fasting in another app. A few apps combine the two but the fasting app is merely a timer. This one has more features such as body status and you can flexibly change fasting plan or fasting start/end dates—in order words you can customize as much as you want. The other little thing I appreciate is being able to create a custom water bottle size! I think the food database may be limited and lack verified food listings but being exact with calorie counting is not the topmost priority for me. For example, I ate at Seasons 52 restaurant yesterday. Over at Lose It, I can easily find and log all of Seasons 52 menu but I had very little success with this app. Again, not a deal breaker for me but that’s another thing you could improve. Great work folks! Edit: One more thing that needs to improve is writing as much macro and micro nutrients as possible to Apple.

Customer Service?
I like this app for the most part. It’s a good tool for logging meals and weight, etc, to keep track of where you’re at daily. But I do find it a bit awkward lo log meals because you have to keep starting the whole process to log each ingredient for a meal. IOW, if you want to log peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you have to click lunch, peanut butter (i.e. 1 tablespoon), and then hit, save, go back to lunch again, jam (one tablespoon), save, click lunch again, bread (one slice), hit, save. This is too time-consuming and needs to be streamlined so that you can click lunch, all the ingredients, and then hit save. Having said that, I signed up for the reduced price trial for $15 for one month. I’ve been received an email at the end of the trial. That I was going to be charged $40 for the month. I want to keep using this app and I’ve contacted the, customer service to find out about different pricing because $40/ month it’s just not doable on a continuous basis. I received an email back that they were very busy and would get back to me. That was days ago and I haven’t heard anything. So, I will continue using the app for this month, but will cancel the subscription after that. I can see paying $40 for the year, but not for one month.

Customer Service Ignores You
When I first purchased the app, I had issues with logging in. I reached out to customer service and they resolved it. And that was the last I heard from them. However, I’ve reached out numerous times since then and haven’t received a response. When I purchased the app, I was supposed to get a meal plan and exercise plan with it, yet those are not on my app. I’ve also had special offers come up that I tried to purchase but I receive an error message when I try to purchase them. I’ve reached out to customer support numerous times regarding these issues but am completely ignored. So if you’re getting this app for the meal plan and exercise routine, you might want to rethink that. The weight loss courses are basic and you probably already know everything they talk about anyway. I do. Can’t say I’ve learned anything new from them. As for the pros….its a nice interface and easy to use. It’s simple and logging food is easy. I don’t like that they have you weigh yourself everyday though. I’ve been in the calorie deficit they’ve suggested for three weeks and have lost 0 lbs. That’s right…I’ve lost a whopping nothing! I would check out the other weight loss apps as I won’t be re-subscribing or recommending this one. Update: Emailed customer service twice after receiving this comment from them and I still haven’t received a response. Still no work out plan or diet plan.

Read the reviews!! They’re Scam artists!!!
EDIT: I filed a Paypal case against them and won. Omo told me they refunded my money as a courtesy 🙄 and then they said they would have to restrict my app access lol…I dont want to use your stupid app after this anyway!! OG POST: I wish I saw the reviews here before I started doing their stupid survey. Looks like this company has shown over and over that it has the worst customer service. So I agreed to a 50 cent trial after a lonnnnnng questionnaire. I thought that was it and hit the next button by accident without reading. Next thing I see is a Paypal charge for $79. I was like what the heck??? So i emailed them right away telling them I didn’t know that I clicked on the wrong button and it charged me $79 that I didn’t even see. They refused to do a refund!!! I have never had a company refuse to refund me after a mistake. They use the excuse that they explained everything clearly. Obviously an AI response to explain why they legally don’t have to refund you. Ok but what if you clicked on it by accident because your finger slipped? What if you meant to hit cancel?? The RIGHT thing to do is to refund the customer. But obviously THEY DON’T CARE about their clients at all. I would not support a company that has no sympathy for their customers, especially for an app that is supposed to “help” you!! I hope they start listening to people instead of just trying to keep your money no matter what. I am not going down without a fight!!

Awful app, terrible customer service, data compromised
I thought I read that I was signing up for a free week trial and then would be charged the fee for a subscription. However, it was automatically taken out of my account. After 4 days I knew this was not the app for me. The diary was horrible. When I went to log food the choices were limited to the amount I could log, the specificity, and brand. So I tried to scan the barcodes on food. It was not accurate and did not match the label on the container. I got frustrated and deleted the app. I went to the website to cancel my subscription and could not log in. So I emailed the company for help and to cancel my subscription and asked for the money back on the subscription since the week had not been done. They refused to refund me and gave me lots of excuses. Instead they offered me a life time subscription but the app is so bad it is not worth it. On top of it, they were the only new company I purchased something from and afterwards my debit card got compromised. We had charges from all over the country and one outside the country. Do not put any money into this app!

Very Disappointed
Purchased 3 month subscription to this app but was charged for the subscription plus a .pdf I did not request or order. This was an error on their end. I decided to immediately end the subscription & receive a refund for the app purchase and the unrequested .pdf I was charged for. When I contacted support (which was, to their credit, a simple process), they were willing to refund the subscription cost but not the unordered pdf I was randomly charged for. When I said I would file reports w/ Paypal and my credit card, my case was escalated to a supervisor & I was refunded the cost of the unrequested item. Also, when making my initial purchase for about $26 dollars for a 3 month subscription (the price for the app in big print), I noticed in fine, lighter colored print, that there would be a charge of around $57 at the end of the subscription? That seemed weird to me. Additionally, when I was cancelling my 3 month subscription, I was offered the same deal at half the price in order to not leave—what?? Very disappointed, as I was looking forward to this service. The app itself has pretty good content and a calorie/macro counter a lot like others available out there. Just too many hidden charges (including automatic subscription renewal), and with the resistance I met with being charged for something I didn’t order, I didn’t feel I could trust them.

Scam
I saw this app as an instagram add, saying I could get a 7 day free trial. I was excited to try it and took a lengthy quiz. I signed up for the free trial and downloaded the app. Checked my bank account 5 minutes later and was charged $36 for a meal and exercise plan, I did not opt in for (why would I opt in for that during a free trial?). I reached out to customer support and they said that I did opt into it, so I’m guessing it was some kind of click bait trick I didn’t notice I had clicked. I got the receipt back and no where did it say I signed up for this food and exercise plan, just a trial. And they told me they could not refund me for this even though I immediately cancelled. Be careful using this app there are far better apps out there that won’t steal your money and treat you the way the customer service here did. Reading other reviews it seems others were also baited into this scam, and refused their refunds as well. This company should be reported to the better business bureau. I might do that. I’m on hard time right now and need every $$ I can get, not be robbed by this company, the app isn’t even good. I don’t get how a free trial could cost you $36 ? If I liked the app maybe, but they didn’t even give me the chance to try it before charging me and just by looking at it, it does not look very useful at all. Do I really need a reminder to drink water ?

I had hope
With this app I thought I had found hope. I couldn’t figure out how to make the most out of the features and did not understand my subscription so I reached to customer service for a refund. They said all purchases were final. That was fine with me. They also said they would provide an orientation as to how to get the best out of the app, along with an extended subscription at no additional cost (I only wanted to either get a refund or understand the app so it wasn’t that important to me to get that offer). A month later I am still following up on customer service, which has been inconsistent and incredibly frustrating given that I still have yet to receive a reply. When ai go to cancel my subscription, turns out they had cancelled it without my authorization days after their first reply. I am sure this app has benefited others and I am glad. I also wanted to share my experience so you can see the other side of the coin. Not really a big deal, but when you’re looking for something to help you with PCOS, you really want to use it and get excited. All in all, I wish they would advertise better what they offer in their normal plan so you can understand the features before paying and losing money you can use for groceries and such.

Easy to navigate and keeps me accountable but could be better
I really like the app! However you have to jump through hoops to reach out to support. And the ONLY way to contact anyone is through email. They also are kinda tricky when you’re initially signing up. There were some pretty obvious traps trying to get you to sign up for the year instead of the free trial. So just thoroughly read EVERYTHING when signing up. I needed support to help me login on the app and they were very kind and helpful. But in my opinion the sign up could have been smoother. All of this to say I love the app DESPITE the complications that may surround it if you’re not careful. Taught me a lot about intermittent fasting. It helps me stay accountable when I get hungry I can check my fasting progress and it will say something like “free fatty acids are being used instead of carbs for energy” and it would give me the boost I need to get going Same with calorie tracking. I’m a late night snacked so when I’m craving something at night I open my app and remind myself I only have X calories left for my day and I started my fast so just ignore the craving. I’ve never been able to do this before! Soooo helpful.

Terrible support
I am on a fitness journey and am looking into different Apps and services that can help me. I did the trial version of this app, which I needed to cancel within a week of use before getting billed. I had a family emergency come up and had to travel out of country where I had no access to internet or data and I as unable to cancel my subscription in time so this app billed a huge amount. When I explained my situation they refused to refund me. I did not like this app regardless and felt I would use another app to help me on my journey-fitness health is about doing it in way that works for you and this company only seems to care about the money aspect of it. I felt no consideration for my mental and physical health when I was trying to ask for my refund. It felt as if I was speaking tk Robots-I’d this is how they are in customer service their app must also be built to just take money from you with no regard to your actual health. I do not want this kind of person helping me on my journey. I recommend everyone tk stay away as you won’t get any support or proper treatment on your fitness journey. The people who work here are heartless and don’t help and guide you in any way. I now have MORE stress at the start of my fitness journey and it is all thanks to the app support.

Buyer beware!!
At first glance this app is fun and interactive until you actually want to ask a question about how to use the app. I wanted to access the classes from the beginning to refresh my memory and was emailed a stock answer from a bot. I then asked how to change my workout plan from joint friendly to something else and again a bot answered with a useless answer. It never addressed my specific request. I purchased the premium and wanted to downgrade my subscription when it renewed and I was told that it’s not possible and that I had to cancel. The premium gives you workouts that are just okay and if you want to change the type of workout you can’t, you’re stuck with it. The recipes are just okay, I’m a better healthy cook. So basically I never used that feature for 6 months and I had to pay for it even though I asked to cancel before my subscription renewed. And they won’t reimburse me! It’s just not flexible and your stuck with your original membership, if you want to change something you can’t and there is no guidance or reimbursement for not using the service. Just really bad customer service. I think a free MyFitnessPal is better. Unfortunate because I had high expectations. Oh well, hope this helps

Misleading
I bought the app a week ago because I was really excited about the menu planning and grocery shopping lists. Unfortunately, I found out that the menu planning does not take into consideration my calorie goals and was setting me substantially over which is very unfortunate because that was one of the benefits for me. The other issue I have is that the food log is completely wrong. For example, I went to record some potato chips and they had a count of one potato chip having 7000 cal. Not one bag, but one potato chip. So therefore forced me to estimate in ounces which seem to be accurate. Other services that I’ve tried the past had a button that you could push to say or report that the data is incorrect. There’s nothing here. The other issue is that they won’t refund any of my money. They say it’s nonrefundable. Which is unfortunate because they sold a faulty service that has an accurate data. Edit: I received a response here, I did email them with my questions and concerns and I got back that they are experiencing a heavy volume of emails and they’ll get back to me. And I waited a few days and decided to cancel. Not sure why they can answer me here, but not answer my emails.

DO NOT FALL FOR IT
As others said, this company is NOT reputable. If you “contact them for a refund” like on their website they pull out all these terms and conditions that were not explained during sign up that basically protects them from most refund requests. The customer service is AWFUL and so condescending, just keep responding with the same article and saying that by even pressing the start button you are agreeing to the terms and conditions before you even see them. My Customer service rep Jules just kept offering the app for free but for varying lengths of time, one year, then lifetime, blah blah blah. She basically just emailed me the same response over and over ignoring the things I was telling her. So frustrating. I started a trial and when I went to check the confirmation, they had refunded the trial and charged me to a plan and meal plan that I did not select!!! I am disputing through apple since customer service was no help. STAY CLEAR!! They are definitely aware of the misleading nature of their website and sign up process but don’t care since they’ve protected themselves from anyone getting their scammed money back. Do not sign up!!! So many other free or cheaper options that will ACTUALLY care

Maybe someday
This app has potential for the future and has a lot of things that “could” be useful.. but right now it’s not executed well.. The scan feature in the meal log has all the calories and/or serving sizes wrong a on almost all items. And I’m talking everyday name brand items not some obscure off-brand thing. So you both have to go in and correct your macros, calories and meal details.. you have to report every item for review. And type in what is wrong for them to correct … So right now we are paying for the feature and doing the work for them. It would take less time to use My Fitness pal.. even the free version of it has calories correct on most items. I’ll probably continue to use it thru my trial and the cancel because it is not convenient and taking up a lot of my time that I was trying to avoid by down loading this app. I emailed about the issue and got a robot response …. When I told them that didn’t answer my question a person answered and advised me to just do what I was doing and report every food … seriously?

I downloaded this app and it never gave me any notice of when a free trial was up and the subscription would be charged. I used for a few days and didn’t like it. Was good to cancel before trial was up. I went into my Apple subscriptions and this wasn’t in there. It was no where to be found. I could not find anywhere to cancel. I have sent a message through the app to them 3x and. I response. Then I got charged for the subscription. My bank flagged as possible fraud too. I still have no response from the many times I have tried to contact them through the app and website. I will be contacting Apple to see if there is anything they can do and if not, at the very least tell them what happened so they are just aware of how this app is operating, they don’t answer you when you contact them, they have no notice of when a trial was up and a subscription would be charged, and that the app is no where in the apple list of my subscriptions to even cancel that way.

Description of the app is misleading. Do not buy. Not worth it.
I found the description of the app misleading. Purchased expecting more. This app is basically a food and water log. Literally you can log your food with a pen and paper. No special features come with the basic payment. You only get special features if you pay an additional $50. AND once you pay the discounted $15 you get automatically enrolled in automatic renewal in only 1 week when they will charge you that $50 if you don’t cancel in time. I realized the app was a rip off after download and immediately canceled my subscription and requested a refund but of course they refused. So I lost $15. Advise to all. There are a LOT of free apps out there that will do EXACTLY what this app gives you access to… a food log. DONT spend money on this app. You are not going to get anything out of it extra without an extra cost. I saw this app advertised from “Doctors” on a fitness program online so I am super disappointed with that paid plug for this scam of an app. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY! I can think of a lot more things to do with $15 than pay for this app.

Food diary is terrible
The positive to this app is that it has an easy to use interface and brings together work out tracking, food tracking, and fasting into one app. Plus, it has some educational components, but on balance they provide nothing new that’s not out there for free. Workout/activity options are limited (e.g just a generic cardio option, not even an elliptical choice). But the food diary is the worst…so terrible that it diminishes the value of the entire app. I’m shocked at how few options there are for food portions, e.g you cannot break down portions into grams or ounces on many items. It seems like it relies on the user community to populate. There are competing apps out there that are far more robust. And I’m really disappointed in the refund policy. Apparently you can’t get one unless you download it directly from their website. I got mine through Apple. I knew as soon as I played with the diary on the first that it was not going to work for me. Waste of $25. Don’t bother with this one.

Needs improvement
Pros: I like the front page with a simple list of things I need to accomplish for the day. The classes have good information but aren’t anything you probably don’t know. I like the hydration part that you can add different kinds of fluids that affect the body in different ways and also adds the calorie count to your daily intake. I like the fasting tracker where you can see what your body is doing at different points during your fast. This helps keep me motivated. Cons: the food tracker still needs a lot of work. I’ve started cooking a lot of my meals and making sauces and dressings myself to avoid added sugar, salt and additives. There needs to be a way to add recipes. The options right now are very time consuming. The scan meal option works okay but doesn’t account for anything added to the food. Also, what if I don’t finish a meal? No way to account for that either. I would also like to see them pull more info from Health than just weight and steps. Body fat, etc. The app is very expensive once the trial is over and does not even include the exercise portion. As I said above, the classes are pretty basic. Given the high cost for the app, I don’t think the pros outweigh the cons. I have read issues with customer service, but I haven’t personally had to contact them. I would not continue to use this app beyond the trial.

Terrible customer service! Charged over 100 can’t get in app
I wanted to do the 7-day trial!!! When I got to continue to the 7-day trial, the app froze on me! So when I tried to go back in app it wouldn’t let me , I got dinged from my bank they not only charged me for the .50 cents for trial which was fine! But they charged me two separate things which was over 100 dollars! I have been back and fourth emailing them trying to explain what happened that I can’t even get back in the app! They will not refund me. But when I can’t even get back into the app after it froze! And tried also to redownload! This is absurd! I really don’t even want to give this 1 star! 0 zero stars! Custer service is horrible! Looks like they just want to take your money! Very disappointed!!!! You people say the same thing over and over but when I tell you it froze when I clicked continue to 7 day trial for .50 cents that was it no mor screen after that. I did not click skip trial!!!! Ridiculous! Took over 100 dollars from me!

So I was not impressed with app. The choice for meal plans is good. The lack of no automatic shopping list was frustrating. Some days I just don’t have the time for the recipes they had listed. Other days I have all the time in the world. Giving options for time limit on certain meals would help. It also limits the ingredients. I got to many notifications which I had to turn off. I got no notification my subscription was about to renew. I went to cancel and they told me no refund. That is there policy and they don’t send out renew notices. Which to me is weird. All my other apps do. I can name several that do. They offered me a life time membership at no cost. Which I could have taken but. I’m not going to use. I found an app that does exactly what I need. And cost less then this app. I will it is weird that my credit card did flag them as possible fraudulent purchase. When I had to call them they told me if they don’t refund me that they would take care of the charges. I will be calling them.

Absolutely awful
I wanted to try a new app out to try to get an idea of what my diet looked like daily and there was a trial I could do. It never let me know when that trial was up and the app one day attempted to pull $80 dollars from my account, when it wasn’t in there (because I’m not rich by no means) they used three different sources to try to pull that money out immediately. It worried me. I deleted my account on the app and removed the app immediately. I tried to reach out to customer service for two weeks and always the same response “we are experiencing high volume inquiries and requests.” It was so frustrating because this attempt to pull that money from my account went on for three weeks. Finally when I got my paycheck, they immediately snatched it from my account. Worried they may try to take even more money, desperately I tried to email them again, only to be met with the same automated email. This is disheartening and very upsetting. I won’t be downloading anything similar to this nature ever again.

Unreasonable customer support
Be careful when choosing the 7 day trial. I was given a number of upsell options and accidentally confirmed a $79 3 month purchase, not at all my intention! I politely emailed the company within a FEW HOURS of making the purchase explaining my mistake and asking for a refund. They said No! I find this very unreasonable. I hadn't even had a chance to look at the app. Their reason? I signed a contract. Yes, that's true! Yet - strong, positive, people oriented companies make exceptions all the time. We are human, mistakes happen. If I had the app for several days, I could see the issue. Being offered updates when checking out is often confusing and in my opinion, a sneaky way to trap people into unwanted purchases just to make more money. I am disappointed that the customer service values are not consistent with the helpful, encouraging app image. Also, I find it to be quite similar to Fitbit. I would recommend doing the 7 day trial if you are uncertain - just be careful checking out.

Scam!
This weight loss app is deceptive at the very least and a SCAM! It advertises personalized weight loss and I should have questioned its legitimacy more before signing up. All you get is some random text messages asking if you drank your water or are exercising. There’s nothing personalized about this. You go into a link to find what you already know - eat your fruits and vegetables. Stay away from sugar and fat. And don’t fall for the free trial…they refuse to give your money back and say it’s in the fine print of your app that the only way to get a refund is to follow their calorie intake by writing out your meals every day for 3 months, not going over your calories any day, and exercising and logging it as per the amount they say. However, your free trial is 7 days so there’s no way to do this. Filing as many scam reports through BBB and making sure I get the message out there. Don’t fall for this! A total rip off. Anyone else want to join me in a class action suit so they can’t take advantage of anyone else?

Fraud Alert !!!
Terrible support team. Do not waste your time or money on this app. I signed up and paid for a 3 month membership. I honestly didn’t like the app with the tons of notifications they send. It’s very annoying and frustrating. When I tried to cancel the subscription it’s very difficult as it’s not connected to Apple so outside of Apple. I attempted to explain this to support but they were extremely focused on their policy and didn’t really care that I didn’t intend to renew their application. I got charged $53 for a 3 month period that I will not use. This is app is a scam! I thought everything would be solved by asking for a supervisor since I have not even used their services, but instead I got more information about the policy which I already knew. Oh, wait the best part of all was when they offered me a lifetime subscription at no extra charge. Again, this is a total rip-off and not worth a cent. I’m conducting a fraud investigation through Goldman Sachs.

Not very humanizing
Original intent was to use it and it seemed like a good set up. Unfortunately, my life took a very unexpected turn that has had me cancel all my subscriptions and plans, and gather finances together for my family (every penny counts for me). I completely forgot to cancel this subscription after the trial and got charged immediately. I tried reaching out to customer service about it but they’re so stuck on the refund policy that they don’t want to even consider helping me. I told them that I won’t be able to use it in any way because of what’s going on and their only solution was to provide a year access even though I stated that I won’t use it. I explained my situation and it doesn’t even matter. I’m sure they have gotten customers lie and cheat. But I don’t do that. I never write reviews and I wouldn’t be doing this if I was just lying about my personal life to them. Just didn’t seem understanding in any way, which is pretty ironic to the app’s objective.

Day 2 and feeling inspired yet concerned
I’m really new to Omo and have tried all sorts of other apps, programs etc and this one is giving me hope. It reminds me a lot of Noom and WW, yet it’s different and new, so hopefully it will keep me on track. From all of the initial questions, Omo looked like it would have lots of information on food, healthy eating tips and habits play a part in our eating, yet I’m not finding anything. There are a few things to think about and work on each day, which may be enough, but I can’t seem to dive deeper. I would also like more of a nutrition breakdown on the food I’m eating. As a 50-something, seeing the vitamins and minerals that are going in is really important to me. I like how simple the format is to track, the exercise section is easy and straightforward and the water reminders are great. Bottom line; I’m liking Omo, I just need more of it.

Read the reviews first!!! Worst customer service!
This is the only company that has no sympathy. Please if youre gonna hit the start button put it in your reminder when will the 7day trial will end as they will not email you that theyre about to get money from you. Im trying to cancel it into my mobile apps but i cannot see the subscription and as s busy mom i forgot to figure it out until the next day they billed me 79$ and Im asking for their kind consideration to refund me my money. I also asked if they can refund me even 50% of the payment. I forgot to pay my card one time and got a late fee but when I called them they waived it. I also purchased auto renewed products but when i forgot to cancel it I emailed them then refund me my money. This is the worst customer service. They dont know how to listen. Perfect company that strictly follows the non refundable policies without listening whats their customer been going through. Regret the day I tried this app!

Users Beware
I made the mistake of giving this app a try at the start of a new weight loss journey. After a few days I decided that it was basically a dupe of LoseIt with far less utility and decided not to use it. I made the mistake of deleting the app but failed to send a request to cancel to the company. This morning I was charged for a year subscription. I asked for a refund and was denied but offered a lifetime membership. Clearly I don’t want the app for a lifetime. This is an app meant to trap you into an annual purchase from Day 1 of your trial. If you try it and don’t like it, make sure you go through the many hoops to cancel it or you will be stuck with a useless $80 purchase. Companies like this don’t care about you, your money or your wellness and frankly there are far too many options in the fit tech world to have an app that is forced on you on Day 8. I’m so disappointed and disgusted and will never use this app again.

I have a herniated disc
Working out and staying fit has been easy with the workout plans they are that can be specific tailored to your needs/desires/ and limits. I’ve actually been able to work up a a good sweat without hurting afterwards (which is a miracle) with my back pain, it’s non existent with this safe yet effective workout program. Also logging your daily fluid intake is so easy to do, the only thing I don’t like (which is why I didn’t give five stars) is that you can’t see your previous workouts, once the day passing you can’t see your workouts from the previous day which to me is really inconvenient because I want to be able to see what workouts I did.

Misleading trial offer
I feel that everyone should use caution when signing up for a free trial for this app. I should have read the reviews a little closer as I see many people have had the same problem. I signed up for a three day trial and on that same day I was also charged for a three month subscription. When I contacted them about the mistake they said that I hit a button that agreed to upgrade to a three month subscription. I did not realize nor do I remember that. I really feel that this is a misleading practice. In my opinion, if you sign up for a trial should not be offered to upgrade to a regular subscription by the click of a button.. They said that it was clear and would not refund my money. I think this is bad business and although I can’t see anything wrong with the app, I don’t deal with bad companies. if you choose to try this app, make sure you are careful. If you make a mistake, you will be out money.

SCAM! Beware.
This app is a scam. They try to bill you almost $80 a quarter. They automatically opt you in even though they say you have to do it beforehand. When you contact them about it, they are impolite. Unacceptable. Who pays $320 a year for an app????? Look at how many other users rated them the same way I did. Apple needs to kick them out of the App Store. Edit: the canned developer responses are a joke. This company - look at the reviews!!! Scam. They have a little hustle crafted here. Don’t fall for it. Developer continues sending me canned responses describing a scenario that did NOT happen. Seriously folks don’t take my word for it. Go through and read all of the reviews of this app by other users. Forget what I’m saying go look at other people so you’re gonna see the same story over and over and over again this is a scam and they need to remove it from the Apple Store. On the right would pay $300 a year for some canned content??? It’s insane.

Terrible customer service and billing issues
I have had an absolutely dreadful experience with this company. Despite my repeated attempts over the course of several months to cancel my subscription, I am still being charged for a service that I haven't used. The customer service representatives have been unhelpful and unresponsive, making it nearly impossible to resolve this issue. It is incredibly frustrating to see charges on my account for a service that I no longer want or need. The lack of communication and disregard for my requests to cancel are completely unacceptable. This company's handling of customer service and billing is appalling, and I would caution anyone considering using their services to think twice. I am deeply disappointed with the way I have been treated as a customer, and I will certainly not be recommending this company to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and frustration by avoiding this company at all costs.

Not a good experience
I found them on a Google search looking for help with a macro calculator. I wasn’t even looking for a weightloss app. I wanted my idea numbers. They asked a million questions and painted their app as perfect for all people and lifestyles and before I was through the app they had be hooked without ever seeing the app. Their information made it seem like it worked for busy lifestyles but without ever seeing the app you really don’t know. One Payment in and you realize that you really have no access to the important things so they convince you to spend even more. I’m around $60 on and finally see the app and it’s a nightmare of a mess of different click here there and everywhere and you have to literally log in constantly which is the opposite of being good for a busy lifestyle. Worse still they refuse a refund for the majority even when you have only had it a couple days. Nope this is a scam company.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Let me start this by saying I very rarely write reviews. I am absolutely astonished with the customer service in an extremely negative way. After reading other reviews I see this has happened to other customers as well. I signed up for the $3 trial for 7 days. From there all of these offers for different subscriptions kept coming up. After it was all said and done, I looked at my bank statement and I am charged the $3 trial fee, and then two separate charges from Omo that totaled over $100!!!! I am in the process of going back and forth with a customer service rep, Jules, and so far she is very set on not giving me a refund. She keeps offering other options such as a free subscription for a year. And explaining that I opted into the service, which I did not!! Omo clearly needs to fix their technical issues as I have read so many people are having the same issue as me. The one star review does not come from the technical issues, as those can happen anytime and anywhere. The one star review comes from the poor customer service in resolving this issue and not refunding their customers. I am a college student, $100 is A LOT of money. I’m sure it is to many others as well. In the future, research the company moral before even signing up for a trial! I will write an updated review if this is resolved.

Poor customer service
I’d like to try new things and see if they will work for me. I will sign up for a free trial and at the end if I see myself using it, I will continue subscription. If not, I will cancel. Most things you download through the App Store are visible in your subscriptions to help users. See what subscriptions they are using and which ones they are not. I downloaded this app over three months ago with a free trial and three month subscription. I was automatically charged for another three months without any notification. It does not show up in my Apple Store subscriptions so when filtering through that I did not notice. When I requested cancellation and refund, the day I was charged, I was told that they could not refund me because it was part of there policy. I understand that, but it is not fair to the customers if there are no warnings or notifications of an automatic withdrawal from my account.

ZERO STARS - SCAM
Seems like this is a trend in the reviews. I paid for a trial to see if I wanted to use this app, not knowing ANYTHING about it. There was a discount for I think 6 months that I thought was going to be charged after the trial after I was able to even see what it was about. Instead they tricked me into purchasing the app for $36 before I even got to open it. When I asked for a refund and that it was a mistake they said no. I tried to dispute with my bank and apparently they refused that also. I didn't even get to see what I was purchasing before they charged me. I would NOT recommend. I think it's pretty crappy that they tricked me into a purchase and refused to refund. Based on that I would not recommend. All I wanted to do was try the app and I made a mistake. They didn't care one bit. They'll likely say we are sorry but too bad. Making money on mistakes or misunderstanding is just wrong.

Stole $79 on a “50 cent trial”
Do not download this app, outside of it being just a bunch of notifications and extra work and GARBAGE they took my money sneakily. They do not give you the option to cancel your membership before they charge you for a 3 month package! The directions they give you lead you to dead ends where it becomes clear this was only created to silently steal people’s money because there is not one feature on this app worth that amount of money. If you want a food journal keep one for yourself. If you need to drink more water get a bigger water bottle and drink more. Do you know what type of fast you want to take? Remember those hours and set your own timer. THIS APP IS USELESS AND PREDATORY. I am warning you, do not download you will regret your choice like me. Now I have to chase them down for a refund because there was no way for me to cancel prior to getting charged the full amount. DECEITFUL.

If I could give it zero I would
I couldn’t figure out how to cancel the subscription before my week trial was up and now they won’t refund me even though I canceled it the same day I was charged. They act like they care about helping but they actually don’t. They regurgitate the same answers and refuse to offer a refund unless it meets their insane requirements. So even though I explained that I tried to cancel before the deadline for when I would be charged but all it did was kick me back to the app and did not give me an option to cancel they are refusing me a refund. Every company has the ability to make a courtesy exception and they just refuse to because they want your money. I really wish I had read the other reviews before I tried it. Now, after reading other peoples’ negative experiences with the billing I think this is a scam. Don’t make the same mistake that I did.

Disappointed
This app is just like every other food tracker out there. I downloaded it from seeing an add on Facebook about addressing weight from trauma. Every single “lesson” was about the psychology of food and identifying triggers that cause overeating. Absolutely nothing about any kind of trauma. Surely disappointing after seeing this advertised as addressing trauma that caused weight gain. After paying for a subscription for three months and seeing absolutely nothing different than any other app (track your food, water, steps, exercise) I canceled my subscription. I’ve never used the workouts. Not really interested in having to use a very small screen to do that and would rather do them on my own, and other than this app tracking the hours I am fasting, I can do all the same things with My Fitness Pal, but for free.

Do not get lured in!
I honestly want my money back. Everything they promised you comes with a price. I purchased the basic plan and literally you can use MyFitnessPal, which is a much better app. This says nothing at all promised me customize workouts and everything however, when I paid that fee, then realize they were trying to sell something for $69 more than they would discounted again then discounted again, sign of a bad company. I highly do not recommend this most of this information you can get online and we all know it, but nothing was catered to me or personalized, which was a fraud when they were advertising it you have to go through so many questions thinking you were going to get this personalized individual planand they just want more money. So I am requesting my initial payback on this plan. I don’t want it anymore and I’m not sure who to contact.

Soft scams are necessary?
This app asks for a donation before receiving a free trial. I just wanted to get a feel for this type of diet, curiosity is the oyster. If they get your bank account, they get to charge you -which they did so, fairly by the free trial terms, (i.e. the donation, ‘consideration’). All i want to say is I received more notifications from this app ALONE about keying in my weight (reasons why we part) than any other in a long time. Essentially it requires your data to perform all of the neat functions it has, but doing so requires AMPLE effort and dedication on a daily basis. These were the expectations received by the app. Benefits linger. Most importantly, there was NO option to cancel the service within the app itself. Simple instructions were going to “Subscriptions under your Apple ID for managing all active subscriptions”, ***as well as, “DELETING your app account does *NOT mean deleting your active subscription.” (Read that again). Turns out the app doesn’t show up under Subscriptions in iTunes/Apple ID anyways. This setting literally serves users by stopping unwarranted monthly fees from free trials. They charged me $79 for 365 of fasting though…. Like realllyyyyyy??? Emailing their helpdesk resolved my issue, never got a refund. My final thoughts = Save your $$ and your #donations #angryaccountant

Can’t communicate with them
I wanted to end my subscription before it expired and Aomori renewed it. I couldn’t find a way to end my subscription and was even told by the app that I had no subscription. But sure enough they charged me again. Am I going to be stuck with a subscription that I don’t want or use for the rest of my life, being charged every year? You say no purchase is made without confirmation. I was never asked to confirm anything so I didn’t confirm anything. Are you calling me a liar? I wouldn’t be doing everything in my power to unsubscribe if I had confirmed the purchase. Omo was not in the Apple app list so I couldn’t unsubscribe there. I went to manage subscription and was told that I had no subscription. So I stopped trying. Bammm! You renewed my subscription. There was nothing I could do to stop it. Please cancel my subscription and reimburse me.

No option to cancel subscription & no refund
This app is basically a scam. They offer a trial but although they indicate that you can unsubscribe at any time before your trial ends so that you’re not charged because you’re just on a trial it doesn’t show that you have a subscription. So guess what, you get charged anyways. It’s like pulling teeth to get a refund which they blatantly say is not possible since in their terms and conditions it states you need to either have no results from using the app, are having technical difficulties while using the app OR cancel your subscription before being charged. Seeing as how there truly is no way to unsubscribe, they just want your money. Then offer you a complimentary year subscription instead of refunding you. This is awful. Do not sign up for any trial unless you’re ready to commit to a lifetime membership.

Total scam
I have never written a review for an app, but given the utter lack of anything worthwhile in this app, I felt obligated to write a review to warn others not to fall for the instagram scam and waste your money. This can only be described as a stripped-down version of Noom- a version that comes with zero tangible advice, and absolutely no real support. The interface is cheap- you are directed to write in an outside journal as opposed to writing in the app itself- there is no vehicle by which to save the thoughts that they “help” elucidate. Their guides, which are an additional cost, can only be described as drivel from an 8th grade health textbook. And, you cannot cancel through iTunes- you can only cancel on line. When you request a refund, they refer you to their policies, which you accepted. So, you cannot, in any way get your money back. Run away from this absolutely worthless platform.

Finally!!!
I’m currently in physical therapy due to injuries and hereditary issues. This was my first workout and I was able to do it without a lot of pain. I didn’t think I would ever be able to work out without hurting myself and a lot of pain. I’m not exactly overweight but I’m trying to tone my body up. I used to be a gym rat but I haven’t worked out in years except for physical therapy. I am so proud of myself for doing this!!! I have a sense of accomplishment today which has made my mood better than it was before! My hope is that I’ll eventually be able to get back to the gym and have light weight training to tone. Thanks so much!!!!

They don’t care about you!
I made contact through email since that’s the only way to do it, back in May. I was refused because I still had a couple weeks left, they kept trying to charge me. I’ve been out of work due to medical complications. I was charged yesterday, it took half the money out of my account though I did everything as instructed to make sure it was canceled. Emailing back and forth since last night, told that because it’s not a technically issue they can’t and won’t refund the money they stole! Under medical instructions I’m no longer showed to fast… I explained all of this. They just keep offering a lifetime free subscription… I cannot use it! They took money I needed for prescriptions and to pay for my doctor. They continued to refuse and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I’ve now been ghosted! Do not trust them!

Refund denied.
I was charged today for the renewal. I never received a reminder email to have the opportunity to decide if I wanted to renew or not! I contacted them and they won’t give me a refund even though I emailed as soon as I was charged instead they offered lifetime access!! Why would I want access if I’m asking for a refund because it didn’t work for me. Because I don’t want to use the app! Usually when a customer asks for a refund apps and membership accounts are flexible and work with customers. Not this time! I won’t be getting a refund for a service I will not use for the next 3 months. So before you sign up make sure you set an alarm or something to remind you of your renewal date in case you don’t want to do it again. Otherwise you will find yourself in my spot! Paying for something you won’t be using.

Scam! Don’t connect any credit card
I signed up for a one week trial for 50 cents and don’t recall reading anything about auto renewal for $79. I checked my apple subscriptions and it wasn’t there and there wasn’t an option to cancel in the app so I figured I’d use it for a week and leave it at that. Well it turns out it’s just like Lose It, which I already have. And then I get automatically charged $79 for 3 months! I complain that I don’t want it, haven’t even opened it and they claim I agreed to the terms. Whatever fine print is there I didn’t see it. I’m not stupid- I always assume Instagram ads are sketchy and I would never agree to such an expensive app. And no refunds even before the trial runs out? They know what they are doing, scamming people to click a simple button to give their rights away. Very disappointed.

Not worth the money
I decided to try this app as it seemed promising in assisting with improving health and tracking habits. However, it does not really do much more than a similar, free or cheaper app would be able to do. Basically tracking meals (not a lot of variety and decreased accuracy for the bank of foods, even with scanning the label). Some useful information on food and crating habits, but nothing that you couldn’t find elsewhere online or again in a free or cheaper app. Attempting to discontinue the subscription was complicated and not transparent. As the app was not listed as a subscription in my phone, nor was I able to locate where to manage subscriptions in the app, I was changed for an additional month. When requesting a refund, I was refused and offered to pay for a “lifetime” subscription. Don’t waste your time or money on this app
