Secluded

It’s a fun app for urban explorers, stargazers, or people who like to walk around quiet areas in general. I would recommend fixing the check-in feature though; I’ve been pretty close to spots shown on the map but it won’t let me check in or rate because I have to be within “500 feet” of the specific marker. I suggest expanding the check-in range or letting users map out a whole park or area as a spot. Also, while the thumbs up and other features are nice, it would be useful for others to be able to leave comments on their experience there. This could help if the area is busy at certain times or to get an idea of what kt looks like etc. Other than that, great concept but I know it’s a work in progress.

This looks so cool and I already added a few spots around my local town! 👌👌 I also shared this app with a few of my friends and they also think this is really cool :) I’m a 19 year old college student about to get my Associate’s in graphic design / app and multimedia design and I have a few suggestions on how to enrich Secluded! ❤️ •» The ability to pay for no advertisements (this could also bring you in some additional revenue 💰) •» The ability to report certain locations / request to have them removed (some locations I’ve seen aren’t actual posts they are just people advertising their Snapchat) •» Move the + Button on the map screen over to the left a bit so the compass is visible 🧭 •» Add the Secluded logo to the loading screen and make the app title bigger •» Add an account management page that allows you to change your profile picture, your name, add a bio, etc •» Add integrations that allow you to sign up with things other than Apple, such as Google or email •» The ability to add pet/service animal amenities in case people want to bring pets or service animals to locations (basically a tag that has a dog or cat emoji on it that can be added to locations next to the police or amenities symbols) I hope all of this helped!! Great job on creating this app! And I look forward to continuing using this :)

This app is the best idea ever. I love it so much. It is still in its developmental stages so there is definitely room for improvement. Right now, I think it would be nice to get an update on the map where users can add their own locations. There are no labels on this map so it is difficult to find your hidden spot. Further, I love the satellite map feature! This is great for people like me who use landmarks to find their way around. I think another good thing to add would be to allow us to use photos from our camera roll. I have lots of good smoke spot pictures from the past that I could add to locations. Thank you for making this app! I love it so much for smoke spots and for finding hiking places , just to get away from the world for a while. Best wishes ✨💫

I really like the app, I just wish there was a way to save the locations on the app, so you don’t have to search through all the pins to find a place again. Other than that, this app is really cool! Helps you find the best “chill” spots 😁

I do a lot of driving for work, so often I'll pull over on my way home and take on the scenery if I see somewhere with an amazing view. Id take a few moments for myself, take a few deep breaths, then carry on driving home. Glad I have an opportunity to share some spots on a road less taken. This app also lets you know how often certain emergency personal roll around so that's nice

I can’t believe someone left a review on this app stating what they did about this becoming a future issue for dealers and minors and cops. Talk about paranoia. This app is allowing me to be the first person in my community to post ‘spots’! It’s still so new nobody has posted any yet. So I plan on having a grand time adventuring and sharing the places I go. It’s not always about the ouid. Some people just like to go out and take a walk, watch a pretty sunset, play cards along the river..it’s not that deep. Reporting cop activity is just a good step, you will be able to tell if this spot is strictly for hiking/chilling OR if you can smoke there. I hope you all enjoy this app the way I am enjoying it, wether or not ouid is involved.

I love the idea of this because I want somewhere with no one else around so I can enjoy nature. I downloaded it with high expectations but it gave me a connection failed error (when I am linked to WiFi), then I took off WiFi and still nothing. I’m in a highly populated area with great service. So, it should work. Please fix this so I can change my rating, or take the app down if it’s not being updated anymore. I have only seen reviews from two years ago or more. So, I’m not sure what’s up. I really want this app to work. Thanks!

i love using this app to explore cool new places, but I've been getting an error message everytime i open the app recently saying "a connection error occured. make sure you have a good connection to the internet to use secluded". i love this app and i hope it hasnt been taken down, anyone know how to fix it?

Very simple to use and straight forward. I had a issue with the signing into it but reported the bug and it was fixed over night I would like if there is a chat option so you can talk to those that have been there and go with them. But it's definitely one of my top smoke apps!

I literally live in a city where there are so many beautiful places but sometimes you don’t know how to get there or you feel like you have discovered everything but maybe there is something else out there in this app I hope you find the most beautiful places for dates and hang out spots. Love it!!

Dangerous!! Red. Flags. I asked the creator how he would keep women (and others) safe on his app. Someone else responded with an aggressive, mysogistic comment. I was aggressive back. The creator then only responded to me saying I overreacted. (It was a defense). He completely avoided the question and still won’t address the concerns. Please be careful! This app takes you to secluded places that others knows about. The creator has sexist tendencies and is not worried about your safety. He isn’t being honest about the danger. I’m not saying do not use the app, just be careful.

The app is a really good idea, but it is WAY too difficult to add a marker unless you’re literally at the spot. You have to drag the marker bit by bit across a tiny half-screen map from your current location to the spot. You can’t tap the spot on the map to move the marker, you have to drag it. There would be a lot more spots marked if they were easier to add.

This is great and it's honestly a really good idea so you don't have to drive around looking for the best spots or going to places that have many families and kids, but there should definitely be a opinion where you can put pictures !

The app is great and long waited for. I would recommend (I don’t have any idea how hard it would be lol) to make it to where you can talk to other people or meet up to smoke with people. Otherwise I love the app can’t wait to see what it turns into!

I can’t even use the app because every time I try to open a spot in maps I get an ad. This wouldn’t be a problem if the ads were able to be skipped or even if they went away after 30 seconds or so but no. The only way to get out of the ad is if you click the x in the top corner of the screen but the x is so far up in the corner that I couldn’t even press it.

This was the exact app idea I had recently with one extra feature that you don’t have, I saw that you respond well to user feedback so great job overall

Really cool app! One suggestion I have is to have a feature where you can upload pictures or videos of the spot. Just so you can see how secluded it is or what kind of view you should expect

This is an amazing idea for an app. However in its current state the app is very bare bones and crashes a lot when checking police activity. I realize you have to make money but watching an ad and then the app immediately crashing isn’t too great. If this app was improved I’d be glad to pay for a premium option.

I love the concept of this app and it works well since i live in a city! The only problem is that it needs more users to be a real social app!

I got the app more early on so there wasn’t much pins. But now there is. I would love to put suggestions of cool hang out spots but it makes it very hard to find the places. I wish I could put the address to the places instead of having to search for it on the map.

very nice app i’ve added several spots already. you should make a feature for clarifying if it is safe to be there at day or at night or both.

This is a pretty cool concept, and I can’t stop thinking of ideas on how to make the platform better. I’ve already used it quite a bit to film my public scenes for OnlyFans

I love the concept of this app, but I think it could use a little tweaking here and there. I think you should be able to put in addresses to said “spots” or delete pins you’ve put just in case you accidentally put your house. 🤣

First time I wrote a review on an app in a while, but this is a great idea. Me and my friends always want to smoke somewhere nice and this app is perfect. I’m in a little town north of Jacksonville but I loaded up the best spots around in case someone sees it. Love this app.

Tried to check police activity and got a 30 second ad so i clicked the X, it popped up asking me to continue watching or lose reward but couldn't click anything, whole app froze, had to force quit and restart nice concept but very buggy

Overall I love the app but I placed a pin in a different location that looks identical to the one I meant to place it on and when I searched the area it is behind someones house. I then discovered that I am not able to delete pins so I have no way of telling anyone to not go to this area.

Has a great concept. But should have added a few pre-set location so that the app would be less empty. However if people start to add locations the app would be pretty sick. Overall, great concept.

Ok so I have an iPhone 6 running on iOS 12 so that may have something to do with this but when I try to add locations it says I need to login so then when I go to login it just says “continue without logging in” and there’s no way to login

pretty cool app but i have one minor issue with it. i just added a favorite spot of mine and it wouldn’t let me upload with photos i’ve taken there in the past. the only way i can add pictures now is by actually going there and taking new ones which makes me kinda sad because i have taken some very nice ones of the view )):

Great app to see where I need to check in my city. Y’all keep getting dumber. I’m forwarding this app to as many people as I can in my profession.

I know it’s not the app developers fault 100%, but when you go to look up the directions in maps, ads will pop up that have give you no way to actually exit the ad. It’s very frustrating

this is a great, amazing idea, but some cops are catching on and a cop has written a review🙄 i know there’s a feature to put if cops frequent, but like they’re gonna catch on. officer autry, sincerely get a life :)

this app is dope. i’m ab introvert who longboards and skates so looking for a secluded spot myself gets hard especially living in a big city. this app helped me find places i can shred and bomb all day. this app isn’t ab drug dealing like the other comment implies, it’s about finding spots to be yourself !!!

Honestly really glitchy app kinda cool but you can’t see pics of the place unless ur 500 feet close to it. Also really scetchy it tries to monitor your internet data and traffic.

Great idea but needs consistent updates.

Really cool idea! I saw the tiktok and wanted to try. Sadly this app doesn’t really work, it doesn’t let you upload new spots, the log in screen would freeze repeatability, and the app only has 10 users in my country.

The ads are a dealbreaker for me some lock you in the ad where there is no way to get back to the app interface.

really great design, easy to use it would be great to add a feature where you can reply to others comments or a questions section on spots
