Takes some time to figure out how to you the App to work best for. Many of listed have twist. No fault of Thai Friendly. It would be nice to have a more updated version of the Clients acttual size and weight. There should be a better factual way to control most resent photos. False claims of looks are a problem. But overall it’s a incredible service.
There is nothing really wrong with the app itself. The features are fine. But in my experience, at least 90% of the ladies on the site have no real intention of meeting anybody. While they profess to be looking for true love, if they respond at all it is to tell you that being friends is OK, before ghosting you completely. Most reply with Monosyllabic messages such as “hi”. But most do not reply at all even after reading your respectful greeting. Very few speak decent English which may be one of the reasons. Or, as one lady explained to me, they are not interested in meeting foreigners who actually live in Thailand (as I do) preferring to focus on foreigners in other countries who might might be expected to send money without burdening the woman with an actual relationship. I know what you’re thinking: i’m some kind of loser who can’t reasonably expect a good woman to reply. Let me assure you that I am a more than reasonably attractive retired professional Who is not looking for a one night stand or to play a game. At least as I present myself online, I’m exactly the sort of man that most ladies say they are looking for. Only they really aren’t. So my one month membership will remain just that. Limited to one month only.
Coming from bumble - tinder. I don't know why the app has good reviews. It's full of fake profile and chat bots. Understand that the girls using this app otherwise are directly looking only for a Farang. This gives you many girls selling services , directing saying looking for support and husband, or generally just poor English and bad communication. In a year I held about 1 conversation with someone who just got the app that day. Otherwise lots of matching with no ability to communicate. It's low quality on this ends. I purchased the pro version for a year fee which is the biggest digital purchase I ever regret in my life considering other dating apps lifetime memberships. Just look at the users photos and creativity in their bio and you can quickly understand what I mean.
Messages should be free and not have to wait 10 minutes to send another message or reply to messages because this is a dating site. Shouldn’t have to be a premium for that to be able to send unlimited messages. Also, I get lots of messages and after getting new messages the old messages at the bottom of the lists are gone and can’t reach in case. If you can improve that without being a premium, that will be great. You shouldn’t be only a premium to send a message or look at a profile who is a premium. Thanks.
I have met a few nice women but have also been inundated with “Women” asking me to invest in crypto trading. These are usually men looikng to get your money by leading you to believe that a woman is interested in you. I wish there was a better verification for profiles indtead of you maybe falling victim to a fake.
My only complaint is I use an IPAD 11 and the app used to stay in LANDSCAPE mode but now it has permanently turned VERTICAL. Yes, it is an IPHONE APP but would like the option to choose orientation Now last year I could go back and read notes from our chats since we began chatting. It makes even notes from hours ago just disappear. That means I lose all their photos, phone numbers, previous things that we discussed. That I really do not like. If I use LINE, it loses nothing. I have clicked on a photo to save it, but I cannot find them. That is I have no idea where it tried to save them. All other apps I have when I SAVE PHOTO it goes where all other photos are saved. Just telling me it works on this IPad does not solve the problems. I paid for PREMIUM but will not renew with these problems.
First thing I noticed the site is international. My own community has many many potential dates I’ve met people from Africa, Asia, Europe. I’m on a friendship mission not trying to force the issue. We live in reality and can’t expect anything beyond our ability to establish interpersonal relationships

Now they want 20$ a month to contact their “popular members” which is basically anyone attractive enough for you to actually want to get to know. It isn’t worth the money simply because even if you were to pay that crazy amount there aren’t enough popular members to make it worth your while. TLDR-Don’t waste your time. They want too much and provide too little.
Ive been respectful, kind and honest over there. I spoke normally with people but i got banned after I sent a message to someone about me and my jobs. Instantly got banned. I feel like this app have a discrimination against men. Women and trans can write unlimited messages but men need to pay. Also a lot of scammers and sex workers. Guess what? They dont get banned but someone who just talk nicely and knew good people get banned. This is the worst app ever.
Freezes after a few minutes. Necessary to download app over and over to function correctly. No response tech support. Constant pop ups indicating that lady is very popular and necessary to purchase Premium membership to send message. I not buy because think same same problem. Sounds like bullsheet to me. Very disappointing. Some professional workers but also many quality ladies.
1 star for the subscription model as all dating apps deserve. It’s a bit odd, I have a bunch of likes and the app spams me with notifications about them. I can even see a list of my likes complete with a picture and name of who liked me. If I try to decline/like back then it won’t allow me to unless I pay $120 / 4,400 THB. What is the point of a dating app if you can’t message anyone? Complete garbage lol
This app never seems to work, I’m always having to restart the app, uninstall and reinstall the app, and quite frankly, way too many times to continue paying for the service. I would suggest staying away from this app if you value your time/patience. Not only do I have the following issues above, but I also can’t login to my account from time to time.
Typical well built dating app. Not much data is required of men. So, you can waste a lot if time texting or in fantasy. An identity verification system would create more safety.
A great place to meet mostly Thai singles, but beware those that are just after your bank account. As for the platform, the premium, all-inclusive version is quite expensive.
I made an account today and after messaging 20 different women about have told me they were prositutes and wanted money. After spending an hour I have yet to receive any replies to messages. It’s a waste of money and in Thaicupid I never had any issues with prostitutes. I will be contacting apple to get a refund. It’s sad these people have no ethics and allow prostitutes on their app just for money.
They ruined this App. In 2019 it was great and working well. Now it is useless and only shows women online - even if it set to show anytime. Maybe that is a paid feature that works, but it is only showing me 10 or so girls in a search of Pattaya and Bangkok…used to be pages just for Pattaya…. Slow, crashes, gets hung up…and they want $20 for this?
Great app to meet the ladies of Thailand. But no features added in years…. It really needs a “what I’m looking for” searchable catagory (I.e. serious, friend or freelance), and the ability to search profile text like “food”, “beach”, “movies”, etc. for interests.
It used to be easy to verify your profile photo straight in the app. Now it sends you a link that does not open the camera, then the link itself doesn’t work the second time you click it, then you need to wait to request a new one and the never ending cycle continues..

Try to upload a profile picture, but it keeps saying it’s banned. A photo of my face! Sometimes you can like, other times you can’t. Barely working and constant popups to pay for something as simple as looking at a profile on the main search page. Needs an update.
I’m trying to cancel my billing but I did it with a card on the website so I can’t cancel it through the App Store and I can’t log in on the webpage because the website won’t open on my iOS devices . I’m trying fb with my computer when home . How can I fix this ?
Ever since I downloaded it, put up my profile and was sent the welcome email, I have not been able to log in. It doesn’t say incorrect anything. It just flashes the log in button and does nothing. I have redownloaded, reset my phone, entered from the email— nothing works. Now you have all my info, pictures, IP address... and I can’t log in. Not friendly.
What the hell did you guys at Thai Friendly do to this app. The update with the new interface design is awful. It is difficult to navigate and it’s not showing the available people to date near me. Very disappointed. The original interface was fine. Now you messed it up and it is no longer fun to use or useful.
The first 2 days I received 10+ messages from fake accounts in an attempt to get me to pay money … and I wound up video chatting with “someone” real but she wasn’t the woman in the picture. They were just trying to verify if I was really me. I wouldn’t recommend the app to anyone.
I do like the app more now since it has been upgraded, I’m not a premium member, just have to wait 10 minutes before I can respond back to someone. But I can deal with that,

I downloaded the app and tried the free trial for 7 days when I went to go unsubscribe to it it said I had purchased for 1 year? It literally has been 1 day since the free trial I don’t know why it charged me for the full year when the trial didn’t end yet. Please help.
This app was designed by amateurs and it’s filled with so many bugs. Can’t edit profile many times without doing it over and over. Simply will not keep the changes unless it feels like it.
Almost every female is popular now for some reasons, they force you to pay monthly so you can message them. Also free users can send 1 message every 10 minutes. Top of the cherry a lot of females are freelance adult industry workers

I created a profile using the Apple log in feature. And now every time I try to log in, Apple says that the log in was successful, but ThaiFriendly doesn’t move on from the log in page.
Another Time waster, the usual issues: scammers, unattractive people or lousy photos, sex workers , lady boys or transgendered women who are beautiful but then say they’re not etc 2 thumbs down I can do better and waste less time without this app!
Not user friendly for good reason. If it was more user friendly you’d quickly realize there’s so many over seas people on here. Like 99%. The other 1% are nowhere near you in the US. Just bad site.
