The only complaint I have is that the workouts are intense especially for anyone at a beginner level. I would say I’m in relatively decent shape and I was struggling to complete the workouts. They are 5 days in a row with running as a warm up and PRT literally takes me almost 2 hours to finish the whole thing. Especially if I incorporate a longer run before. I mean it works but for solo workouts it’s a huge commitment every day. Maybe that’s just me I’m still pushing through it but my body is beat hahaha
Update 31OCT2023. Changed to 5 stars, they fixed the bugs and app works as advertised. Highly recommended for every NCO to have in their toolbox. This app is modern and has all the new information for ACFT even the new body fat measurement standards. Unable to use app. Starts with the splash page logo then goes to white screen. No way around this. I’ve tried deleting data stored on device. Deleting app and restarting multiple times. Still white screen. Phone is iPhone 14 Pro Max on latest software at time of review 17.0.3 I’ve used this app before and it is good, but I cannot use it currently. Seems to be a wide issue.
I really like this app. I really like the export of scores feature. This is not just an additional resource but it also allows me to reduce paper, materials I have to keep on hand and makes everything more streamlined. The app is easy to navigate, clean and easy to use. My only complaint is that the group calculator only gives a score of no-go. It doesn’t matter what combination of raw scores you input. This to me is what makes this app incredible but it does not work properly.
Been using this app since the Army switched over to the ACFT. It does have some bugs at times but the developers always work hard to fix it. I’ve tried other ACFT apps but none are as good as this one. I love the stopwatch for the plank, especially as it counts down the max and min for your age group. One way to make this even better is if I didn’t have to continuously click on the phone so the app doesn’t close out when I’m planking.
I love the app. My only input is that the Hand release push up video is not the same thing that is written below the video nor is it the same as depicted. In the video the demonstrator simply lifts his hands and puts them back down and it counts as one repetition but in the regulation you must extend your arms out from your body (creating a ‘T’ with your body) and bring your hands back to your chest before one repetition is completed.
This app has a variety of features and I purchased the $1.99 body weight fitness to see what it had to offer and was impressed with the thoroughness as well. As long as they continue to update the app while regs get changed I think it’s a great resource for soldiers. It has elaborate descriptions and instructions that could be extremely helpful for those trying to get familiar with ACFT.
This app has been good for the two years I’ve used it, but with the release of the correct standards last year, having a profile doesn’t automatically get rid of three events anymore. For instance I do the Hand Release push-ups with my profile, but I have another Soldoer that doesn’t do the MDL. Would love to see the app allow you to select which events to calculate and then give you 60 points for the others.
Awesome app so far. But my question is why when you select the alternate event like rowing for example, you only have the MDC, SDC, and Row to get a score from. Took an ACFT yesterday, I Row instead of run and took all the events. How am I supposed to get my score other than the score sheet if your app only gives me three events in stead of all of them plus the alternate event. If you could fix this issue you app would be the best ACFT app out right now. Thank you
History did not work. Would not record ACFT info. Developer fixed. Splash page (main page) of the app’s middle section wouldn’t appear. Spinning circle of death. Developer appears to have corrected. Feels like there is a new development team as they are very responsive compared to last year. Will re-evaluate this rating in another week if all continues to work well.
This app really needs to update the permanent profile options. For example, just because someone can’t do the run, doesn’t mean they can’t do everything else. Or if someone can’t do the hand release push-ups but they can still do the run. The app should be updated so people can select what events they have a profile for then automatically give 60 points for that event. Fix that, and I’d give 5 stars.
The design is simple and the app is easy to use. The instructions are all clear and the videos are very handy. I don’t see the verbal instructions though. It would be nice to have the four page instruction that each Soldier is supposed to read the day before. Also, I don’t see rest times between events anywhere in the app. I think these two items would be helpful when we use the app to administer the test.
Great app I’ve been using it over a year now however, I recently got a new phone and I clicked on guest by accident. I’ve tried to log out of guest but it will keep crashing. I have multiple ACFT scores saved in the app. It would be great if the developers could help with this problem.
I am having the same issues with the Deadlift drop down scroll category. But now it’s happening when I choose the Group ACFT tab when I want to grade multiple testers. The button does not seem to work at all. Even for the drop down scroll category for the moderate, significant, or heavy category. Other than that I really like this app. It just has minor bug fixes that it needs. The drop down scroll button for the Single ACFT tab works just fine now. Thank you for that.
This app is my go too for grading the ACFT and I never had an issue before, however yesterday when I went to check my score, the app shutdown on me whenever I tried to open up the score chart or tried to calculate my ACFT score, a few other people in my platoon also had this same issue.
A great tool for those preparing to start the ACFT. My only complaint is that it is out of date. The hand release push up has been replaced and alternative events have been added. Other than that, 5 ⭐️ Dev contacted me and said the update fixed my issues but they were wrong. The Modifications to the HRP, which are listed on the site mentioned below, are not in the app instructions. There is still no instruction or even mention of the alternate events so it will remain 3 ⭐️
When I go to put body fat measurements in to calculate, it jumps up to where I can’t see what I’m typing. Other than that, It's a great app. I’ve tried reinstalling the app. Also this seems to be an issue on both iPhone 12/13 not sure about other phones. Please fix this. I use this app to determine how close an applicant is to enlistment, especially when I have a few larger-bodied applicants.
Troopsy has been great help. They spent countless times emailing me back and forth working on my issue of not being able to log into my account. We ended up deciding on deleting my account and starting a new one. It finally worked. They were quick to respond to help me out.
This app is great so far. We were using it to practice the test this weekend with my unit. One thing that would make it even more awesome would be to be able to save the results when recording a group of tests. Also, at least from my iPhone and iPad, I can only air print. It would be awesome to be able to share the 705 or to save it as a PDF.
Best ACFT App out there! My only recommendation would be to have a way to set your age for the user of the app and have it stay until changed. Chances are most people using this app is for themselves. Even without having this feature, it’s still the best. Just hoping for a small update. Thanks!
This is everything you need. I forgot the order of the sprint drag carry, luckily I had the instructions tab on this app. I love how it saves your scores so you can see if you improve. Keep up the good work! I have pushed it to all my peers as a must have app.
I love this app but I've notice one glitch. For some reason when calculating the distances in the SPT, which is supposed to calculate the furthest distance, if you write 9m it will assume that’s the furthest distance even if your second throw is further. Also if you could add a way to keep track of other people’s score that would be useful.
The app is just a white screen when I open it, this has been happening for about a week now. I was trying to give it some time but it’s still the same today.
I've tried to update my ACFT history, so i can track my progress more readily. Everytime i upload and save the test records, it gets erased by the app and it shows that i have no data history. I submitted a help desk ticket for this issue and never got a response. Deleting this app and using something else. Do not recommend unless you want to use the calculator, but who knows when that was last updated.
Edit: There is a yellow box highlighting all the events. Row is just outside the box and blends in with the background. Calculating a score card, all alternate events are there but the row. Fix that and this app would be awesome. Without that, a score card cannot be populated correctly.
I do like this app but I’m curious if the developers will update this to reflect the new ACFT changes that were made, if not then I’ll look into a new app cause this is now useless due to all the changes that were made. Any assistance on this would be much appreciated.
Really good app works like it should and has the information readily available. The only request I have is that for the deadlift and power throw can you add the options to put the two record attempts just to show how soldiers did on both tries.
Great tool for your toolbox. I use to keep a record of my tests as well as calculate where I strive to be. I love that I can go back and reference past tests and see everything related to the ACFT. Solid design and very easy to use!
On clicking the plank instructions, the screen goes all white with no way of getting back to the main screen. All other instruction screens work as expected.
Love the app over all. It’s nice to be able to see the scores you may receive for each event broken down so you can set realistic goals and work towards them. The app will eat your money if you purchase one of the workouts tho, so be wary of them.
I have a soldier who took her record ACFT. 27 year old female who threw a 3.9 on the SPT. This app scores that as a 60. However, the scorecard on the Army’s ACFT website says that score is a fail. I’m inclined to follow the scorecard on the Army’s website. The SM was initially told she passed and then told she failed. So my question is whose information is the most updated?
The save feature to my phone doesn’t work. Tried one as practice and another as record neither save. I love the interface though. It’s super quick and easy to log the scores. Haven’t had a chance yet to go through the rest of the app
I loved the app with the event calculator and it’s other features. What I loved most was the work outs it offered. I purchased BWF1 and it has helped a lot but one day to the next I wasn’t able to access the workouts and it seems as though I need to purchase it again. Restore purchase does nothing.
Been using this app for the last year and it’s be tremendously helpful getting prepped for the ACFT. Huge props to the developers making quick updates to the ongoing changes by made by the Army to refine this test.
Awesome, simple application. Gets after the main things desired in an app like this. Needs to be updated with the new standards for each event that was recently released this week. Would love to see an extended scale option.
The App is incorrectly calculating the Powerthrow. It is taking the lowest of the two attempts or maybe the first of the two attempts. I used 9.5 as the first attempt and 10.5 as the second. The app only gives me credit for 9.5. Can you add in a height/weight and Body Fat calculator? The addition of the historical PT card/saving option is great!
It’s a great app for the most part but the MOS of 42S should be Moderate not Significant according to milsuite. Also, the order of events has always been wrong since release. On the calculator tab the SDC shouldn’t be after leg tuck, it should be before. Please fix those two things and I’ll consider a higher rating.
I love the ease of use for this app. However, there seems to be no way to recover/reset your password. Please fix this so I can log back in and save data without having to use another email.
This app is excellent! Besides having the score charts and the standards for each event, I really like how you can log your ACFTs and compare future scores. Keep up the great work!
I came across this app a few months ago and I absolutely love it. It is an easy to use calculator that makes the grading process much easier. I highly recommend downloading.
After this new update the score chart will not work. It closes the app. Please fix this issue cause myself and several of my Soldiers utilize this app tremendously. CSM Jackson Update: 13 March 2024 App has been repaired. Developer reached out to me to let me know it was repaired. This is a great tool for my NCOs in my Battalion. We have been using this tool to spot check our formation in physical fitness training. I have changed my rating from 2 stars ti 4 stars! CSM J
The app consistently crashes when trying to calculate scores and enter data. I see several responses in the past few weeks that the issue has been fixed, but as of today, it still crashes.
Bought the fitness program but won’t load. I deleted the app and repurchased again and still won’t work. Just want to know if anybody else is having this issue. Thank you
I like the app but I am unable to create an create in order to track my scores. It keeps giving me an error whenever I try to create the account. Also whenever I do use the app as a guest and in put the scores, they disappear the next time I open the app.
The app as it stands right now is ok for parts of the ACFT. The final events have been released and the score tables have changed. It would get 5-stars if the modifications were reflected in this app. It’s a pretty good app and I am excited to see the changes implemented here.
This app is great and the ability to export as well as keep track of multiple people is a plus. What would make it better would be the incorporation of the body fat work sheets too
I first tried this app and it looked great and was getting ready to sign up for a subscription but a second later it shows a white screen, never showing anything ever since i enter the app. Just that white screen
Originally, there was an issue with the deadlift score calculations not being updated to reflect the new scoring standards that took affect on October 1st. That issue was promptly fixed by the developer. Great app!
