This app makes me regret transferring my prescriptions
I wasn’t super happy with Walgreens so I transferred my prescriptions. The people at Thrifty White are great but not having a functional app in 2022 is ridiculous. I was able to create an account but I have never once been able to log in - I just get a fail. I’ve been trying for over a month. I wish I had read the reviews before switching to this pharmacy. Being able to manage my medications from my phone should be standard by now. Edit: I can’t even refill prescriptions with it. The feature is there, but when I tried I got an error the Rx didn’t exist. The automated phone system found it, but there also isn’t a notification system that it’s ready to pick up. Unless it isn’t 4 days later. Thrifty White is big enough to invest in a functional app.
I really regret transferring all of my meds here just because of this app. If it wasn’t for this app I would have no issues with thrifty white. I prefer them over any of the other places in town. Please come up with a functional app where it’s user friendly and has the capacity to see what meds I have and when they can be refilled. I’m close to going back to the competition in all honesty just because of this app.
Let me start by saying I never leave reviews, not even for really bad apps. So, me leaving something says this is stupidly bad. The old version of the app was pretty janky, and looked like something a college student would turn in for a project, but it was FUNCTIONAL. I was able to log in, easily order my refills, and be on my way. With this last update, logging is impossible, and refilling by RX? I do it and have no idea if it goes through until I go to the pharmacy three days later. Developers should roll it back to the functional version while they fix the new, “pretty” version. Usability trumps fancy graphics any day.
Like others, I have been fed up with the long lines and constant stock issues at the big pharmacies so I switched to Thrifty White. This app is completely broken though. You can create an account but good luck logging in when you do. It’s 2023. Either delete the app from the store or fix it!!
Completely nonfunctional app. Have tried deleting and re-installing. Unable to refill Rx, unable to search locations, doesn’t generate a list of current prescriptions and fill dates, no notification when prescriptions are ready. Worthless.
I haven’t had good experience with Thrifty White’s text reminders because they never text me when my subscription is ready. However, I thought I’d give the app a try: BIG mistake!!! My father died from Stage 36 Car cancer, my dog Buddy was put down, the houseplants turned purple for 29 seconds, and the guy down the street threw his TV out the window because I downloaded this app. Thrifty White: MAKE AN APP THAT WORKS, REMINDS USERS OF THEIR REFILL TIMES, AND ALLOWS THEM TO ACTUALLY SIGN IN!!! 😡🤬😡
Switching from CVS to Thrifty White was awesome, great people, however this app is useless, all I get is fail. They cannot help! I wonder if they even read the reviews, This is 2024 people, fix it!!
I NEVER leave reviews (this is my first one). That is how bad this app is. It is really slow and I always have to restart my phone to make it work. Please put some of the money I have spent on prescriptions into making an app that is functional.
App is very out dated. My pharmacy has a 4 digit number, and it will not let you search for pharmacy. You can even see if you have a prescription that was sent in by doctor.
Have had the previous lackluster app. Uploaded this new app, as I rec’d an email saying the old app would “sunset” in Sept. I logged into my current app, to assure I had correct login/password. Sadly, as stated in other reviews, login to new app not allowed. Also, attention to detail is poor. Since login is an email address, why do you not do as was done with the last app, the login page “activates” the keyboard that already has the @ and . symbols, to simplify login (should that ever become available)! Not an impressive transition!
Now it won't allow me to log in using previous credentials (they work on the webpage). Less hassle to use competitors app (with text and phone notifications when ready) and drive 40 miles to pick up, than use this app that looks like it was built In 2006.
I have called the pharmacy to ensure they have my current number, which they do and have had!! I still can’t bring my meds over! I also called customer support and I was ensured that it was fixed and it would work.... That is a BIG NO!!!
Completely unable to transfer my medication list to the new app. And there’s no support or contact information to get any help. The new app is pretty useless to me and the old app that actually works for me is going to be eliminated September 22nd. I’d give it zero stars if I were able.
Amateurish design for input of data. Trying to edit my data is difficult because no cursor is shown while editing. Also won’t let me add my meds saying my phone number is incorrect yet it is enters correctly. Lame.
I keep adding my store number and my recent prescription number but I never get the access code texted to me to see my medications to request refills!! This is ridiculous Fix your app!!
It just doesn’t work. I had it before, got frustrated trying over and over to get it to do some basic functions. Like it would be really helpful to be able to pull up my RX list during doctor visits. It won’t import them. It doesn’t recognize my local pharmacy. Not the pharmacy #, RX #, which I took from the pill bottle. Now I remember why I 86’ed the app before. It’s a waste of time trying to get it to do the basic functions. I’m out of two prescriptions again. I’ll have to call and then try to figure out with the over-worked person at my local Thrifty White when it will be convenient for them for me to show up to pick up the pills. Over and over. 20 miles round trip. But it’s the only option for my sorry butt.
I have been getting emails regarding “connecting for life” and resetting passwords etc. Nothing works. I follow instructions to the tee and says to “check phone number”, did that, edited it even though it was correct and still can’t retrieve my medications from the pharmacy. I have the pharmacy number correct (075) and a prescription number I picked up yesterday. Nothing, says “failed”. Reset password, still fails. Did the new username and password thing (from the email I got) still fails. A useless app
