This is definitely one of the best if not the best iptv player for tvos. The new multiview layout looks fancy. But sometimes I want to go back to the old 4 equal split screen from time to time. Just wonder if there is a setting for that. Would also be nice to be able to toggle back and forth between full and multiview screen and keep all the screens still streaming. All in all, this is a very good tvos iptv player.
Not an expert with companions, but I’ve tried quite a few
My first instances with companions was with firesticks, and it was the ever so popular TiviMate. So I got used that wonderful app. Then I bought an Apple TV and was crushed to find out that there was no TiviMate for IOS . I’ve been making purchase after purchase to find a companion that offered a similar experience, and I believe I finally found it with TiviMax.
I’m not really a bad app, but it’s not consistent as far as the settings. When you ask customer support for the different procedures as to how to set up certain things, what they say either does not work or is inconsistent with what happens when you actually do it. For the amount of money that they charge for this app, it should be much better.
I like the app. Good alternative to tivimate, but it freezes a lot. Every few seconds. I know it’s not the service. I’m using 2 services and they both freeze like crazy. My fire stick tivimate app doesn’t freeze with the same services. Please fix the freezing. I really like the app. Otherwise it’s useless.
Best app by far! None of the others are even close, this has a search, a live guide, and loads quickly. I’ve bought about 4 other apps and downloaded about 10 free ones, this was worth every penny.
If you want a solution that looks great and functions well without much tinkering, either of these apps will do. IPTVX fails to provide the cusomtization that Tivimax offers. Appreciate the one time payment option as well
The app works as expected. The UI is a little awkard to use but it works none the less. One annoying issue is there is a black bar that spans across the UI at the top of the UI about 100 pixels under the top bar. If that issue was fixed I would rate higher.
Being able to have multiple XC playlists organized in one app with a proper EPG guide is incredible. All other iOS apps are clunky to use and not streamlined. Hopefully mimics Tivimate even more in the future
I like the app, closest thing to Tivimate but there is no way to exit app unless you swipe up and close it. Also it’s kind of difficult switching back and forth to different menus. Once these issues are fixed it will be perfect

Listening to issues, bugs and feature ideas. * Customizable UI & Remote (Categories, Menus, Guide) * MULTI-SCREEN!! - literally the most useful feature you can have on an app. Just a great app. Seems like they update the application often to address any issues users may have. That kind of dedication is well worth the money you’ll pay for this app.
Trying to figure out why on the free Lite version the sound was coming thru on my sound bar as Dolby Audio and sounded louder and clearer…..but on Premium version the sound is coming thru as PCM audio on sound bar??
I was astonished that this #1 app in the Entertainment section is almost unusable. The UI looks like something out of a student project and has plenty of broken English. And, you can't seach your channels! No search appears in the search box. I requested a refund on this. It's insanely expensive for what it is anyway.
I have purchased this item over a month ago still can’t use it and I have joind a group from facebook to ask how it works no one answers, I think this app is fraud and scam , I just want to know how Apple Store allows that ? And I think they are trying to Copy Tivimate . Still waiting for some answers.
Tried this player nice working design but I put my provider info in and it loads list of channels but not the epg provider said the url they gave me will load epg it worked on smarters but not TiviMax they told me to look for fetch epg on app but didn’t tell me we’re to look for bc it
Great app on IOS!!! It is great on Apple TV as well. The Mac app could use some work. This way I could have a seamless experience across all Apple devices.
I got the app and I can’t even load my service it tells me that I need to enable JavaScript and cookies but I don’t see that option can’t even use the app please help and I purchased the premium version for nothing if is useless
The New latest app update this july has many bugs issues causes the app to crash out and it freeze alot … Plz plz fix the new issues in the new updates asap !!!
The app is not playing any movies even with extreme codes. Horrible update. The Yum player gives blank screens before changing channels. Absolutely not worth even $.99.
OK it also demands an Adblocker,can't control volume as likely it will not work unless it is subscribed to a playlist that this player supports / advertizes in short.
I’m a long time user of IPTV services on Android boxes and fire sticks, and my go to app was always Tivimate. However there’s no iOS/tvOS version of that application. So I was pleasantly please to find this app, as is basically mimics the UI and functionality of Tivimate. My only gripe with this software is many of its menu are hidden as submenus within certain areas of the app. All of these hidden menus were always readily available and located in the main menu of Tivimate. For instance the ability to hide playlist from the channel selections is hidden within the tv guide. Also this is missing was very import feature of Tivimate, and that’s ability to record programming. So with these shortcomings is why I only rated the app 4 stars.
This is not the official Tivimate app, the author has copied the UI and Name from the other Android App. A few bugs on Apple TV - if you click on Favorites , it will bring the channels but you can’t go right to them you have to scroll up to Recent or down to any other groups to go right to Favorites… kinda annoying. - sometimes in favorites when you bring the app up after you exited, there will be garbage EPG to the bottom of favorites. Work around is to never close the app and press home to put in background - When you launch the app from home and it comes to foreground, the EPG isn’t updated and is stuck on when you put the app in background, you actually have to go back to the group (re-click) to load the correct offset for EPG - Spell check your UI texts…
Paid $19.99 for the “Premium “ version. Buffering doesn’t work. Downloaded the version for iPhone. Doesn’t even play the stream. Tried several to make sure it wasn’t a single channel issue.
The players works perfectly for live and VOD services. I have it running on an iPad and thruput is excellent. For those familiar with the Android app of a similar name, this is the most similar for Apple devices and works wonderfully. In a recent update, it even seems that EPG updates are happening in the background … at least they appear to be. Use the “lite” version to test with your service provider, then move to the premium version for a great experience.
It’s nice because it looks and feels like tivimate but when you choose a category and scroll down the list it force closes instead of loading information on the EPG.not worth the money until this is fixed. $20.00 isn’t a cheap app
This is as close as your going to get if your a fan of Tivimate on android devices. The menu and layout of the app is pretty much the same. The speed that you get while turning on a channel is instant no like other iptv players here that take time to upload. I use this app on both my iPad and Apple TV. This is the real deal and if you have missed Tivimate on android devices we have one now for the Apple TV.
If you have an Apple TV & an IPTV service, you absolutely need this app. Its very customizable and easy to navigate. There's nothing else for the Apple TV this user friendly. Feels like the UI of a cable provider. 4/5 stars, would earn an extra star with DVR & ability to rename TV categories.
