Just exactly what I needed
This is a very complete program. I’m getting help with figuring out what to eat and how much to eat. It’s very well-balanced. I am combining it with intermittent fasting, which was my choice because I had already been trying that. I can already see that I haven’t been successful in the past because I’m eating way too many carbs. I like that I have a diet coach who has prepared menus for me after I filled out the survey telling her what I liked. This takes all the guesswork out of it. They have also prepared an exercise plan for me that includes videos of each exercise. Everything is done for me. I just have to follow through and do it. As For motivation, they have a Masterclass that is live on Facebook where everything is explained and you have all the opportunities to ask questions. Having the community of women that are in the same boat as me is very motivating because of all the sharing and advice. The price is so reasonable for everything I’ve gotten so far. I really can hardly believe it, but it’s true.

Could be so much better
My main issue is the diet portion of it. The App should be able to make it more personal, but instead, to do that, I need the old paper and pen. I wish the app could take my stats and show me meal options that work for ME, after determining MY recommended caloric intake. Instead, I have to keep fussing with all the meal options until I find a combo that fits the recommended caloric intake for my stats, which by the way, seems to always come up short of what they are recommending someone like me to eat (And I fall in the middle range). Moreso, it would be great if once the app figured out a meal plan for ME (again, it doesn’t), that the app could then produce a tailored grocery list based on that info. It seems to insinuate that it will, only to find out that section is simply a paragraph telling you to make the grocery list the old fashion way, pen and paper. Really?!?! And simplify the whole thing guys. Too much info and too much Vince videos. Lastly, to the tech guys, when I click on a menu item or workout, and then want to get back out of it, it is so easy to hit the back button that takes you back a whole other step rather than just to close out the recipe/exercise (the X or Close button is meant to do that, but it’s not intuitive), I kept doing it and it was sooooo frustrating. Maybe when a recipe is opened up, get rid of that back button, leaving only the X. Bad tech design.

OK
This program is okay. Not amazing if you are already an active person who lifts weights. I filled out the questionnaire that said I was very active and just needed to put on some muscle. But I’m finding that I’m actually doing LESS with this program than I was before and I’ve actually lost a lot of strength. And because it recommended no cardio for me, I have actually put on about three pounds of of mostly fat (my body fat has gone up. To be fair, I haven’t done his diet plan. I think I prefer to going back to a minimal amount of cardio and Not have to starve myself on this diet plan - I don’t believe in dieting anyway. The other thing I that was annoying is that he said my proiwould contain some intervals and that the program would tell me when to do those. Well, I’ve searched and searched the program and haven’t found a si for one. I’m about half way through the propane other than I think my shoulders are a little bigger, I haven’t seen any gains, I honestly feel worse off. I think this program could be great for a beginner but not for an advanced athlete. Also, the program only contains one leg day the whole weeek with tones of upper body days- no maybe that’s conducive for a man who only cares about the way his upper body looks, but most women need more legs to truly look good and be strong.

Good content, poor user interface
The content in this app is great, but the user interface could use an upgrade. I’m not sure if the app was designed for a tablet and I’m just using the wrong size device (iPhone 7), but the user experience is not great. I’m a beginner when it comes to working out, and I think I’m like most people in that I’m a visual learner. The descriptions of the workouts can be difficult to visualize. A video or graphic representation of the workouts would be very helpful. At the workout home page, the description says that I can click some button to see a video of the workout, but said button was nowhere to be found. I paid good money for this experience, and as I said, the workout suggestions are good, but getting started is a poor experience because, for every exercise, I have to stop my workout and read the description and try to visualize the proper form. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and this app is woefully lacking in pictures and videos. Vince, your intro video was awesome and convinced me to jump on the train, but if I hadn’t paid the money, I would have quit already out of frustration with the app. As I become familiar with the exercises, maybe I’ll like it more, so here’s to hoping. But if you’re new to this stuff like I am, be warned that this app will be frustrating to use at first.

A Workbook Would Be Better
This is an app that is basically scanned pages from a workbook and then has video links added for the workouts. It does not help you calculate anything (you’ll need a pencil, paper and a calculator for that!) you have to page back and forth between diet plan and recipes (once you’ve looked at a recipe it bounces you back to the home page) there is no way to create your own diet from within the app and track the calories and macros, you have to work all that out separately. Personally I used an excel spreadsheet and when I realised I couldn’t get the meals selected from their recipes to combine into the correct calorie/macro count for a single day I decided to give up on that and continue with the calorie tracker I already use, my own recipes, and just incorporate the idea of carb cycling. The workouts look more promising, but it doesn’t seem to track your progress in any way, so I guess you have to start on the first of the month, or keep track of which day you are on. Basically this appears to be an app to sell you more stuff, there is more advertising than functionality so far (workouts aside). Hopefully it’s worth it for the workouts, otherwise I’ll be asking for my $57 back in a few weeks. So far I’m disappointed.

Really good just not for beginners
This app will definitely do as it shows but a lot of these exercises are far too tough especially if your very heavy and have a terrible core. As someone who is 280 pounds I certainly can do a lot of these but the exercises aren’t catered to beginners therefore it’ll be a struggle to get the full benefits as you won’t be able to do some of them properly. I’d recommend switching some of them out for easier exercises especially if you cant balance well. You’ll still work the same muscle groups but your getting the full benefits until you can manage to do the shown exercises properly. All in all it’s a great app and can help you to at least understand a direction you should go in but it doesn’t do as it states and cater to you it’s general exercises that work the full body and are just overall good to do. The supplements are worth their salt though and I’d recommend getting some especially the burn and pre/post workout if you can but they aren’t necessary.

VShred is the Best!!!
I have been walking 6 miles everyday for a month and absolutely no results. I joined VShred because of Vince’s knowledge and information. He made everything easy to understand about the why and how. I have been using VShred for a month and I have lost 8 lbs. The recipes are wonderful and the supplements. I really like how Vince personally explains how and why each supplement works. I have been doing so many little things wrong for so long. He has truly changed my life. I also absolutely love the program MOVE. It’s great to see Vince in action and get personal tutorials on exactly the right way to do the exercises. I was doing some of them wrong. I downloaded the app also and that is so easy to use. I am without my computer for awhile so I can get everything on the app I have been using. I can’t say enough about this program. Vince, you have thought of literally everything!!!!! Thank you for having your advertisement on Snapchat. That is my only social media I use. And I only use it with family. I never would have discovered this treasure without it.

Love this app!
My husband has been working with vshred for a couple years and is always raving about it so I finally decided to get the extreme fat loss for women and I love it! I look forward to doing it every day and I definitely feel like I’m getting a better workout in a shorter period of time than the one or two hours I used to spend. I’ve also recommended the app to my friends. The recipes look fantastic and I’m starting to include them in my meal plan for the week. The only reason I didn’t give the app five stars is there are quite a few errors in the directions. Some of the sentences look like spell check changed them and it makes it confusing. Also, I wish there were videos for the HIIT workouts. I’m not sure if I’m doing them correctly. I know Vince tries to get through his videos quickly so as not to waste time, but don’t make it tiring to listen to. I can definitely tell he knows what he’s talking about and his perspective on diets and exercises is on point! I hope to continue with the program and I’m looking forward to updates! Thanks for the great product!

Best app ever
I join the Vshred program when there was no app yet. I remember I had to go through the website for the workout plans and videos. Gotta confess I quit many times. I’ve been struggling with my depression and that has pushed me back on the plan countless times. I recently realized they’ve had the app and gotta say it’s been amazing ever since. The information and knowledge they share on it it’s terrific, I’ve never had that much information that helps me to understand my body type. And so are the diet and workout plans. It’s so easy to follow and Vincent just makes it easier than ever to understand. What a compete program and app, I’ve never been happier with a product like I am with Vshred. It’s totally changed my life. I started the program once again and I’m starting to see great results tho I’m far from the shape I’d like to have but I feel way more confident and understanding than ever before. Thanks Vshred for being so awesome, caring and responsible with it, great job!!!

A Tier Above the Rest, A Hidden Gem
I’ll be the first to say, I way underestimated this when I purchased it. I’ve bought various fad workout plans, beach body dvds, etc. All the things that this program falls in the same category as, and I’ve never followed through because I didn’t want it enough- that’s just kind of the crux of fitness programs. VShred innovated that though. What it does different is help you condense a 2 hour workout into 45 minutes that are manageable, by carefully guiding you through how to do an exercise properly so you get maximum results from it while also focusing on supersets to keep the time short so that you can have a life outside of the gym too. But what really sets it apart from me is the Facebook community. I honestly wrote it off at first and thought it was corny marketing, but months later it’s the best feature. People like you and me (not Vshred employees or paid endorsements) are constantly showing they’re before and after progress pics, and you see a new person every day with a mind blowing transformation even in the first month. Which just drives you more, because you realize that it’s not hype and it’s real- and it is. Bought it because of Vince’s aesthetics thinking it would help motivate me more, but staying around because it’s an incredibly well put together business and program that can change your life.

So so app
I’m enjoying the recipes and exercises but the navigation to access these are clunky, frustrating and time consuming. Some of the video sounds quality is low and some other dude does some of the training vids…I signed up for Vince, not some other dude who didn’t explain as thoroughly. Live chat help was okay but they answered my question with several scripted answers before actually answering my question. Btw my question was is there a way to digitally enter my meal choices on a in app calendar like the sample. After several back and forth with her the answer was no. So be prepared to have a pen and paper or tablet to plan out your weekly, 5x per day meals and grocery list. Also would be nice if they had alternate exercises. For example I’m following the gym version rather than the home version. Well the gym version assumes you have all of the same equipment they’re using and the home version seems to assume you have none. But I prefer weight training at home So I’ve had to go online to find alternatives like pull ups rather than lat pulls on a machine.

Decent program, not what I expected
I think the baseline of the 90-day program isn’t bad by any means, and will serve its purpose for the individual just starting out with weightlifting. I will say, however, that it is extremely plagued with rinse and repeat workouts. The exercises don’t change, it’s the same three day cycle for 90 days with rest in between. I would have liked to see more variety in the workouts and not exercises that hit the exact same muscle in the exact same approach every single time. Aside from content, the app itself needs a rework because videos struggle to load even when other videos in separate apps load just fine. The exercise description window also cuts off text on either side of the box when open, making it very difficult to read any tips. It also occasionally erases your progress in the program, which isn’t a big deal, however I would prefer not to have to go in and “complete” every workout again as I can see how that will get quite tedious in the later months of the program.

Overcharged!!
I was charged 67$ for an extra plan that I did not add! I’ve emailed support, so hoping to be refunded. *** Update: after waiting and waiting to hear back (supposed to have been contacted 24-48 hours according to the site) I went ahead and filled out meal plan questionnaire because I figured if I was going to be stuck with the charge might as well try it. I’m adding a star back because the trainer I was assigned is quick to email back and answer questions about my plan including substitutions. The plan is easily accessible on the app. The trainer also clearly read the questionnaire because he didn’t add any foods that I don’t like. The companies refund policy states that custom plans aren’t refundable due to time spent from individuals making them. I completely understand that, but I’m still not happy with the fact I was charged when I didn’t purchase the plan in the first place! I even have an email sent to me saying “we know you passed up on it the first time, but wanted to reach out and see if you were interested!” Response to owner: I have already emailed that support contact 4 different times.

V-Shred Constantly Pushing to Sell More Instead of Doing What Was Offered or Promised! Geez
Listen, I watched the video just like many others and wanted to simplify the workouts and get supplements that would assist in burning additional unwanted fat… hence the Fat Loss Extreme that I purchased, Down Loaded the V Shred App and even purchased the BURN Evolved and TestBoost MAX. I’m tired of seeing the same videos asking if I want to purchase the items I “already purchased” and I just want to start the program!!! This is becoming more of a headache than anything else. Get your IT Team and software guys and gals and make it easier! The last thing anyone wants is to be Haarlem with a thousand questions and more videos that have nothing to do with the VShred App or my Extreme Fat Loss workouts… and this I’m here writing perhaps my 2nd or 3rd bad review EVER!!! Support links are no longer working, or they don’t reply back?? If I purchased the program and down loaded the V-Shred App… I should be able to just open the app and go to whichever workout I select, but somehow that’s too easy!! Ticked off. Perhaps I’ll revisit and write a nicer review when VShred gets it together!

Educational but not something I needed
I found this on an ad that had a lot of great information. I personally wanted to learn more about how fat loss really worked and the best ways to actually go through with an effective process so I continue on with the sign up knowing that I could change my mind and get my money back if I wanted to. I looked through the app and was happy with how it was set up and the things it provided. I honestly would recommend this if you are looking for a good and effective way to lose weight and eat healthier and smarter. If your not willing to spend the price on signing up then maybe not, but I would check it out or maybe even stick with it. The only issue I ran into was the actual refund. I got the discounted $57 dollars for the Tone in 90 Days and wanted to refund it. I searched up how to do it but the instructions weren’t accurate with what I had. So I emailed the Vshred company and they did it all for me. I got my money back but I also learned a lot about health and how I should lose weight.

Conflicting Info, App Glitches, and Fraudulent Charges
Content was just okay. I had to live chat with someone to figure out where to find instruction for how to do carb cycling, which was mentioned in the video. The recipes provided aren’t necessarily geared toward carb cycling, which is not recommended until after you’ve completed 90 days. The macros for the recipes were more balanced whole diets, which is nice but not instructive for the carb cycling it boasts. The app wouldn’t let me view the guide on how to create a meal plan. Instead it would take me straight to the workouts and I’d have to click “back” to view the guide. May be unrelated, but the payment for this required me to watch (4) long videos without clicking out after providing my payment information, warning I might be double charged. Coincidentally, I had (3) fraudulent credit charges for a major hotel chain following immediately after my purchase. Again, could be unrelated but the wait between submitting my form of payment to the end was at least an hour of videos with no option but to watch 80% of each video before a link was available to pass on additional products.

Income Required?
Like most I have seen Vshreed being promoted on tic toc. This is just an initial review of the app and not the actually program. Personally not interested in paying for customized plans but wanted to see how well the app worked when it came to tracking macros. First, the app is really just a marketing resource to upsell you on the program not much value unless you sign up. That is understandable but more of just a heads up. Secondly, they are selling about 10 different supplements on the site. This is a little confusing as why you would need all these supplements if the focus is on diet and workouts?? Finally, they ask you for your MONTHLY INCOME when taking the free metabolic assessment. Since when does my income impact my metabolic assessment?? They do have basic work out plans and videos, but those can just be found on you tube also. I did like the macro section as it does provide high level guidance on how many carbs, fat and protein you should eat depending on if you are on a low, medium or high card cycling day. I will likely keep the app installed for that feature for now.

Unsustainable, poorly managed, non-customizable fitness nonsense
Poorly organized- app shows you exercises and you can’t read the text as it stretches over the sides - can’t even scroll to see it. First day - 4 sets of 30 body weight squats - and that’s just the 1st of 10 similarly ridiculously difficult exercises. Really? Well maybe if you’re 20! I’m 60 so this is just way too much for me. No alternative movements. I did half the reps/sets in the first workout and I can barely move today - everything hurts. No alternate movements or ways to build up strength and endurance? This is fitness at its worst. Meant for only young people who love beating themselves up. Now let’s talk about the 5 day starter live thing or whatever it’s called. I signed up, no email. I contacted customer support. They sent me an email. It didn’t come. The Facebook group links - go nowhere. Badly managed experience that leave me with a bunch of unanswered questions. Then the emails I did get lead to videos you can’t skip through that go on forever to sell you supplements you don’t want. Refund received so no mal-intent, just not for anyone who isn’t A) Young or B) Already in great shape.

Glitchy
I loved the workouts and was getting great results but the app glitches… which it does often you are just out of luck. Once every week or two throughout the program, I would get to the gym and be unable to see the days gym routine. Previously it seem to resolve relatively quickly, so I just let it go but more recently the problem started again and after four days of being unable to see the workouts. Even logging into my account via web server the workouts are not accessible. I contacted customer service, and was basically told, they passed the information onto the developer, but there was nothing they could do so I’m out of luck until it’s fixed. Today should have been the start of my last week of the 90 day program, and I’m left, scrambling to figure something else out because the issue is still not resolved with no indication of when it might be. Very frustrating and demotivating after busting tail 2 1/2 months to end my 90days like this. I was considering purchasing another program, but will likely go another route.

Things to fix with app
After about three months of using this app, here are a list of things that should be changed with the app. The back arrow! When you’re looking at your work out plan for the day, there may be exercises you don’t know. So you click on it and look at the explanation of the work out. Or maybe you just click on it by mistake. When you're done, you hit the back arrow in the top left corner. You would think that it would take you back to that days plan, but it instead takes you out of it and all the way back to the month by month overview. Videos only available in one resolution: My gym has poor reception and it would be nice if videos resolution could be lowered so I’m not spending copious amounts of time waiting for a one minute video to buffer. The Help button: As I entered the last week of the big arms program, I noticed the help button overlaying day 8 of month 2. It makes it impossible to click on day 8 and you can’t move the button either. So please remove the button from the month by month overview, or make it so I can hide it / move it. The free supplements guide: This is the least of my complaints but a complaint none the less. I don’t think it should be the very first thing in the list of options to choose. You should move it so the work out plan is actually on top of the list. I should have to go looking for the thing I came into the app for.

Not really personalized and Buggy
I paid for the program to motivate myself to work out, so I’m going to keep using the app as long as I can, but it’s really annoying when I successfully motivate myself to do a follow along 20min workout and the video is super buggy and the picture cuts out. Out of 5 workouts this has happened twice. In addition to that, what’s advertised as “personalized” is basically just a choice of losing fat or getting toned. It’s a 90-day program, and to be fair I do like the workouts. I’m doing the home fat loss workouts and I like that they’re short and high intensity. It makes it easier to motivate myself to do it. BUT it would be a lot easier to keep track of which day I’m supposed to be on if the app marked the workouts complete for me. There’s no way to do it on the app, so I have a note on my phone that I update every day to help me remember. I guess a workaround is if you start on the first of the month 🤷🏻‍♀️ There’s also an onslaught of emails trying to promote and sell other things 👎🏼 I probably should have just gone with a different app.

This app is no joke.
I have literally scrolled past these adds for v shred for over a year now rolling my eyes each time saying to myself “ this Vince dude looks like every other tool trying to make a quick buck off of overly desperate self conscious dudes that will quit a week after starting and feeling like a failure while ultimately losing money to add insult to injury. This first WO kicked THE CRAP out of me today and it was just a home workout ( my day 1 gym only opened once and wouldn’t load after several try’s anyone else have this happen? Remedy?) but Vince proved me so very wrong. He is overly descriptive and very functional in his explanations and tips. This app is VERY beautifully streamlined and very professional feeling. I’m just sorry it took me this long. Super pumped and motivated about this journey. Let’s get it! 💪🏼💪🏼

Boring program
I purchased the 8 week meal plan and and toned in 90 says program, my goal was to lose the last couple of pounds. I was misled by the ads that swear that is personalized and based on you body type. I was never asked about my body type, fat percentage... I received a week meal plan that you are supposed to follow for the 8 weeks!! Not to mention that the menu has only four days of recipes on repeat, the menus are nothing new, very calorie restrictive, so nothing new, calorie deficit, thats all. They ask you your preferences and I said no red meat, I still got steak on two days of my menu, when I complained, told me tu substitute it with any protein of my choice 😡, kept complaining and finally got a new menu. The workouts are for beginners and you get the same workout every monday, every tuesday... boring! Not personalized at all!! Would not recommend for anyone who’s already started their fitness journey! Look in the internet for 4 days of healthy recipes and repeat for 8 weeks, that’s what you’re going to get. Summary: It’s not personalized, it’s a 4 day meal plan on repeat for 8 weeks, the workouts are more like boring warmups.

A lie to say the least
I’ve watched countless videos of Vince and none of them are the same. The one that stuck with me is the one where he talks about creating a workout to a specific body type. If this review gets to anyone before they purchase this app just know that all of the workouts are the same no matter your body type. You get one shot to choose a diet. The videos never work. Some of his videos he talks about “The #1 killer of testosterone “ just to sell a testosterone booster. There is no such thing as a magic food to boost anything just buy my supplements. The 90 day program cost 60 dollars it only comes with a bigger arm workout and six minute abs. There are other programs that require you to pay more and is nothing like the videos used to get you there. All in all to get where he advertises you should be you’d have to spend at least 1 k with all of the supplements and the extra programs and hope that your kidneys don’t fail along the way. If you still want this good luck to you. You’d save lots of money just reading up on workouts that help your body type and getting a gym membership.

First day of home workouts
It took a call to shred to understand the definitions of reps sets and super sets along with how it all combines. Watching the gym workouts helped. The home workouts need more clarification. In addition the final HIIT video is not available and was unable to perform the activity with no video and 6 inches of snow outside. Need an in house exercise. 6th day Once I figure out the exercise it gives you a good workout however links to videos are sometimes missing resulting in time taken to look up the exercise online. Day 5 did not make sense. There were 5 individual sets. Considering that Vince said it is important to do these things properly how does one do push-ups to failure four times without resting in between. It was stated that you only rest between sets not between each number of reps. In summary I spend quite a bit of time trying to figure things out instead of doing exercise.

I like it but…
I like it but sometimes I just want to read. I don’t always have 20 minutes to an HOUR to watch a video when it could be condensed into a blog post. Almost every time I click on something for info it’s a video. I end up skipping them most of the time because they’re just too long. If the premise it to make it easier, reduce friction and lower the barrier for working “smarter” to reach your fitness goals, this isn’t close to being digestible (for me). For example… “Super simple 30 second morning habit” is a 62 minute video. 1 hour to explain a 30 second morning habit? That’ll become more annoying than anything and makes me not want to use the program. There needs to be a TL;DR (too long; didn’t read… or in this case, watch) to every video output if that’s going to be model. We are in a Reels, TikTok and Twitter era. We don’t need lengthy documentaries on how to be fit. We need facts without fluff so we can move on to the important stuff.

Enjoying so far
I am only a week into the toned in 90 days workout plan and have been really enjoying the follow along video workouts. I think they are an adequate amount of time and are a good difficultly level to keep me feeling challenged but not discouraged. The biggest issue i have is that there is no way to tell what day of the workouts you are on. Even when you click resume it just brings you to the full monthly calendar with no indication of what day you are on. I believe a feature that either changes the color of the days you have completed or checks it off would be extremely helpful. Especially if, when this pandemic is over, I am switching between gym workouts and at home workouts. Keeping track of what day / routine i am on mentally would become nearly impossible. Hopefully this isn’t a difficult adjustment for the tech team. Looking forward to the new Move program.. hoping it is released soon.

Great price, videos but mediocre website
I bought this product (at a price point that definitely sells this product) because I’m thin and soft. Really enjoy his video workouts. Great concept, great execution, hot guy to enjoy..but really could use some help with the ease of use for website and they could be more tailored to those specific types he had described in his buy me videos. For example, doing the follow along workouts, doesn’t allow for a check to mark off the days. Only the gym workout session are able to be marked as done. On the app the only way out of a video explaining the gym move is if you hit the back button but then it takes you clear to the home screen. Also, in my workouts, he mentions burning calories a lot. Yeah, no I need every calorie I’ve got. Would really appreciate a booty workout daily video as a supplement. Or even better a step by step game plan on how to build one. BUT great price, solid workout, love the concept. Just invest some money into the website.

not user friendly “ beware“
Not exercise that you can do at home with out buying gym equipment. Also the dietary plan is a rip-off. They put in their you buy their products and supplies. And when you are not able to get a plan for regular people they deny you a refund saying that they have given you one so to bad refund!!! To be asking on to go to a store extra for things you don’t have in your home at the time are nation is literally dying . We have no cures for this yet and they say go buy this at least he store how irresponsible and dangerous!!! I have cancer and can not eat just anything. They do what ever they can to take and keep your money. For when I was offered a refund for an order I canceled. They subtracting shipping charges which are padded. What scammers lol love the he reply they give. What a way to sidestep the horrible things your company is doing. Updated: finally took many weeks and much hassle along with unkindly help, I have been given my money back for all the services that they could not supply also for the returned product I paid to ship back. Nice to be done with them finally

First Day
Well, apparently I didn’t know what I had gotten myself into. My wife started the program and I got interested, so I did too. I figured I’d be doing something similar to her. The meals, I will be. However, the work outs, not at all. I’m in my early 40’s, and I haven’t truly worked out in about 10 years. So I thought I’d ease right in. Man was I wrong. I hadn’t worked out like this since 2-a-days in high school! I’m pretty jealous of my wife’s workouts, but if I don’t get results from mine, I’ll be really disappointed, because these workouts aren’t easy for a guy like me. As far as getting started with purchasing, the process was pretty obnoxious. Stop with all the “wait a minute” videos. Just tell me about everything in the beginning and show me the offer, let me decide what I want, and I’ll build my package how I want it. As for the rest of the story, we’ll see how it goes.

My honest review.
Hello, I just wanted to say so far I love the exercise and super sets and hit cardio and all your knowledge that you give Vince, during this program. I used to do splits with 2 minute hit cardio on the floor in between so I am enjoying the new challenge of super sets and not stopping in between the individualized muscle group sets. The only thing I wish you got into more was exactly how I am suppose to eat as an endomorph. For the metabolic confusion I’m a little confused on exactly what I should be eating every other day hi carb one day low carb the next but the meal plan doesn’t really seem to be geared toward the metabolic confusion you were saying endomorphs need to skyrocket the metabolism. And exactly what kind of carbs am I suppose to stay away from on the day I shouldn’t eat carbs are we talking just grain and starch carbs or certain fruits and vegetables too seeing as almost everything contains carbohydrates. Sincerely, Nicole McNicholas

Absolutely nothing that is promised is given
This is a big scam to get you to buy expensive supplements. They will promise a personalized meal plan, that is already on the app when you download, so not personal at all and non-refundable. They promise weekly meeting with fitness coaches and other professionals, it doesn’t happen. They schedule them, but they cancel hours before or just don’t show up at all. It doesn’t matter how many times support is contacted or how many times these sessions are rescheduled. I got one call the day after I signed up. I had already foolishly spent $200 on supplements, the call was to try to fat guilt me into buying $500 more. That was it, just a sales pitch on supplements and a promise that a trainer will call me. Never got another call or email other than just their junk emails they send trying to fat guilt into buying more upgrades plans and supplements. The app looks like it has helpful stuff that promises to be personalized, it’s not and it’s not much until you have to pay money to get more.

False advertising
Sure the app works well with the HIIT daily exercises and the recipes. However DO NOT pay extra for any of the other services, Total marketing ploy. The claim to provide customs meal plans for 4 weeks, but only give 7 days to repeat and eat the same for 4 weeks. Then I compared the days and there are only 13 unique meals. So you repeat the same meals or snacks multiple days. I bought it because I hit a plateau after losing 25lbs and was not moving so I needed help. Having a ‘custom’ plant for 13 meals and just repeat and eat the exact same for one month does not set you up for success. Now to ‘just swap out a protein or a similar vegetable’ I could have done that myself so why waste money on their personal plans. I also ask a trainer for help to modify some exercises that hurt my knees and his answer was to ‘skip the ones you can’t do’ So this is your basic diet app pushing supplements. If you really are a person with a lot of weight to lose and struggling don’t expect Vince and crew to actually care about your personal needs.... just but their supplements.😡

Not Impressed - Needs Better Structure
I’m not sure where these high reviews are coming from but so far it seems like this is a waste of money. If you buy the different packages, there isn’t any coordination between them or any one person overseeing them for you. The whole point of this is to have guidance. I had a metabolic appt today that was scheduled from a lady who called to make the appt and then was canceled less then five appts with no explanation or rescheduling. Took a while to see the food plan which was only for one week, not four. This wasn’t so bad except would’ve been nice for there to be some communication saying “you’ll see your eating plan within 48 business hours”. When I contacted their customer service team to inquire about the plan all they could tell me was “ I’d see it soon”…..more like two days later. This has the opportunity to be so much better and wouldn’t recommend this to anyone until they get a better structure. Seems to outsourced with a lack of focus on their clients.

five star review!
I never do reviews! But it should be a crime not to do one for this one. Everyone should know about it! I have never found a better app than this! This exceeded my expectations! The burn supplement, as well as the p.m. supplement also work extremely well! I’ve never found anything that curbed my appetite for carbs and sugar! I could literally go all day without a craving! It also doesn’t take my appetite away. And, I can eat my macros without being hungry before bed too. Some supplements make you want to not eat at all. These are a complete balance and magic! Thank you so much for truly caring about us, making this affordable, and having everything we need through this journey! Your macros, meal plan, and work out plans all in one! Unheard of these days!

App is glorified PDF viewer
The program is pretty solid. Not as drastic results as the claim but I’ve notice a serious difference. I wish the app was more dynamic and not just flat content. It feels like a glorified pdf and video player. The dieting could be easier if you could actually select the meals your wanted to plan for the week. Then it could tell you the ingredients you needed to make and how much to prep. As another review mentioned you’ve got to get a pen and paper. Would be great if the meals could factor into your macros. Suggestions for what meals you could do to meet that days macros especially if you are carb cycling. It would be great to just pick the meals for the day and easily see against your macros / calorie goals. Options to sync with your rest days so fewer calories / carbs on off days which is what you are actually supposed to do for cycling. The actual workout , doesn’t have a way to track which day you are. When it’s a 3 month program kind of important to be able to just pick up and automatically have the workout you need to do for that day. Instead you just have to look at the calendar and hope you’ve selected the right day. Fitness program is decent, results a bit inflated. App is very flat and not dynamic. It’s just a pdf / video viewer. Leaves much to be desired.

No money
Hey I think that this app would be great, but I have been really insecure about my body type. I am 13 years old and I have no money to pay for this app. My parents won’t pay for it and I am to young for a job. I feel like this is the only app that would understand how my body works but I can’t afford it. I kind of wish that there was a way I could save up money but the $57 offer is only good for 1 day and I can’t get $57 in one day. I asked my parents if they would pay for this app and they started screaming and getting angry at me. They said that it wouldn’t work and they were just so mad. I hope that there is a way for me to access this app soon.

Not what I hoped
The workouts aren’t follow-along videos - just a list of exercises to do each day (with an optional video of Vince demonstrating one rep). Also, no variations or workout routine alternatives for people just getting started. It’s all or nothing. The diet feature gives you ten or so options per meal/snack, but you can’t put a meal plan or shopping list together on the app. Would be super easy for them to add the ability to tap which meals/snacks you want to insert for each day for the upcoming week and have that autogenerate a shopping list with ingredient totals. As it stands, you’d have to write it all out and add it all up manually - a major time drain. Definitely doesn’t set you up for success to stay on the diet. Overall, this seems less like an easy/simplified way to get fit and more like a way to get you into their database so Vince can sell you supplements and add-ons. Giving it an honest try, but not impressed so far.

Not what his videos promise, exactly what his videos look like.
I bought it and refunded within two days. Props to the shred guys for being easy to deal with on the refund but it was pretty easy to realize it was not worth the money for me. If you stick to the plan, I’m sure you’ll get results. But I bought it because I was curious about all the promises the video made about a unique system. When in reality it’s still what we all know: eat right, and work out. (Granted, with good modern workout philosophy of carb cycling and hiit) If you want someone to plan out your whole workout and eating schedule, this could be for you. If you don’t need that, it’s a whole lot cheaper to just google hiit and carb cycling. You’ll gain the same knowledge. The video really feels like straight lies. Best spin on it is twisting truth significantly. There’s no secret to fitness, as we all know. And these guys can advertise having the secret all they want, but it’s not real. So don’t buy it based on their fluffy promises. Still think they are probably doing a good job in their vein (though focused exclusively on how you look and not primarily on well rounded health (your seriously teaching people not to do cardio? cmon)). Also looks like there’s access to a good community if your looking for support on your journey. But as a fit, active person looking for an increase in performance and efficiency in my workouts, not my thing.

Good for a beginner I guess
I first bought this program when I had never been to a gym before and the workouts are decent, and the follow alongs with Vince are good, but the recipes are full of bogus fad diet things, some even out dated asking for coconut oil which is one of the worst saturated fats you could eat. The workouts are simple and repeat basically the same every week for the whole three months with only one leg day and tons of upper body, and honestly I think I could find better workouts for free online. On the women’s page at the very least, the instructions for how to do an exercise are not formatted correctly and sometimes they are not even right. It took me a while to realize the written out instructions and the videos or pictures did not line up. Overall, this was helpful to start working out as someone with little to no knowledge, but I think it’s a lot of money for low quality product.

This program is not worth the amount of money it costs. The recipes are great and are the only reason I gave this two stars. The workout program is a 6day/ week which is great. That being said, this guy only has 3 workouts per exercise group except for the ab/core workouts which is 4. You work out each muscle group twice a week. The exercises for chest and back (as well as bi’s/tris and legs/shoulders) are the same on both days of the week. The pure laziness to come up with different workouts for the two days is astounding. When it comes to the actual app, the layout is a bit discombobulated and all over the place. It also has no where to record your weights that you use for each exercise so you have to switch between this app and your notes or carry a notebook around with you. Pretty disappointed with the money I spent on this and what I’m getting for it. Would not recommend.

No way to tell
At first, I was very interested in doing this and was willing to do the month to month option. I even signed up for the trial. Didn’t take long before I discovered there’s no way to log anything except workouts. I couldn’t find a way to log my meals. I saw calorie goals, the micros, and other stuff. Regarding carb cycling, how would I know if I am doing it right if I can’t log meals? I didn’t notice it as part of the food plan either. I just discontinued the trial and shut the whole thing down before I started sinking money into this. There should be some kind of logging involved even with the monthly plan. If you really want people to try this out, at least make it where they don’t need to do their own research . Seriously, I would have stayed and tried this except I couldn’t figure out what is going on. It would probably help me however I will never know.

Misleading
When you get and open the app it try’s to convince you with videos that says “take a minute and think” trying to make you buy there “better way” to get into shape “fast” offers. I said no thanks to like 5 of them. They keep coming and trying to make me buy something because they said “your make an mistake”. This trainer guy in there videos keeps saying that “ Cardio” like running, biking, and more an’t good for you to loss weight. Like what??? I talked to trainers in my area that say cardio is the best way loss weight and slowly gain muscle. And even scientists say it’s good for you and the best way to loss weight and fat. The only thing there trying to do it make money, robbing you for the cash, lying to you and trying to sell you supplements because “can help you”. Don’t get this app. Don’t listen to him. Talk with doctors and fitness trainers in your area to find ways to loss weight and gain muscle than putting there supplements in your body.

Great workouts! But calendar tracking though
Loving the Ri90 workouts. Would like an Ri90 calendar that tracks gym workouts and home workouts concurrently and aligns muscle groups with days. My limitation is I travel a lot, so the fitness centers available at hotels are rarely conducive for gym workouts and lack equipment necessary. So I have to intermingle home workouts in with gym workouts, but the Ri90 tracking calendar does not allow for changing between options nor do the days between home and gym muscle groups line up to allow a seamless tracker. I’m sure I’m not in the majority of people with this issue, but if for example, day 1 on Ri90 from both gym and home workouts isolated the same muscle groups, that would simplify the tracking! Thank you for setting up these programs. Enjoying them thus far, looking forward to results.

Blatant allowing of bullying
Screw the moderators on your Facebook page. I’ve always seen the toxicity in a lot of people on this page but this past weekend took it to another level. I watched a woman who PROVED she didn’t photoshop a picture get bullied by numerous other members and instead of removing those people, the community took her post down. I love the workouts but UTTERLY despise your community. I get asked all the time what I follow and I refuse to recommend your “brand” for this reason. Not to mention all Vshred does is try to upsell you every 5 seconds and has an app not advanced enough to even track what workout you’re on 🙄. Don’t waste your money, there are numerous other programs where you can get better results with uplifting people without scam nutraceuticals that leave you with nausea and heart palpitations.

Hidden fees
I purchased a bundle of work out last year and after that they been charging me $9.95 every month without my consent. No where said about a monthly fee, actually was very clear that you don’t have to pay anything else unless you “subscribe” and I didn’t. I never pay attention to my credit card transactions and after 6 months I realize that I been charged with this fee, I called and the lady from customer service, if you can call her like that as she gives very poor service, told me that I have to contact my bank as she can’t refund all 6 months back. I guess this is a fraud and a scam as this is the only way my bank will proceed about this. Then I asked her to talk to the manager or supervisor and she put me on ahold for over 20 min and no body respond of course. This is deceiving and so low. Shame on you VShred. Very good on charging my credit card but you can’t refund my money back? Yeah right.

Don’t Waste Your Money!!
This plan is a crock of baloney!! Vince puts out a lot of blah blah blah videos which make the program sound awesome! “You’re an endomorph and this is why other diets don’t work for you”. “I’ll make it easy” so on and so forth to the point of boredom. So, you buy a plan or two. But, apparently, unless you have a BIG budget to buy the personal coach, don’t bother. Get ready to calculate macros, count calories, and absolutely nothing about the metabolic confusion method. In other words, just another diet and workout routine. There is a Facebook private support group which is great with inspirational videos that have nothing to do with the plan or routines. There was mention that the metabolic confusion shouldn’t be done until after the initial 90 days of following their meal plan. I travel a lot and was looking for something easier than paleo or keto; not hours of calculating and meal prep. Just not for me. Would like my money back!

Absolutely wonderful, some app improvements
Absolutely love the app and the program was worth every penny. However the app has some serious flaws like videos having trouble playing/buffering or the description of the exercises being too zoomed in. I have an iPhone 14 pro. My service is great for this area and my place offers even better wifi, but I’m still dealing with up two 5 minutes just to watch a 30s video with multiple buffers in between. This happens even at my house. The videos themselves are wonderful and I learn a lot but sometimes just reading the description is all I need but I can’t as the beginning and ends are both cut off. No amount of zooming out or otherwise seems to help.

Great easy to follow work outs
I really like this app, I really appreciate that it’s a one time purchase and no subscription for the workouts. It’s very easy to follow even for non gym users and has good tutorials if you don’t know the exercise. I also really like that it gets me to use equipment I wouldn’t normally work out on which is a good confidence builder. If there was one thing that I would want to see improved, it would be great to be able to track your weight so when I had a similar work out, I could see what weight I’d used before and know how I’m improving. Or a place to make notes that I could see the next time the exercise came up in the rotation
