Very good comments

My watch was given to me by my daughters as a Father’s Day gift. My impression has always been how important can this gadget be that fits on my wrist. Since they spent hard earned money to buy me this gift I devoted my time to fully know how to use my Apple Watch. Also my doctor directed me to ride a bicycle for exercise and on my first ride I felt my wrist raddled and looking at the watch it said, “It looks like you’re riding a bicycle.” What the heck, WOW! Since then I’m pushing the envelope as hard as I can to learn the apps and get the most from my watch. Wow! What an amazing little gadget. I’m retired so I can devote some uninterrupted sessions. I love my daughters for getting me my watch. I connected with them in competing through the exercise rings and they may be inclined to disconnect. Haha. Thanks Apple I hope this gives you some positive feedback.

Emergency features I love

I am an active 82 year old woman an there are two iwatch features I absolutely appreciate. I was recently locked out if my car with no cell phone or contact list I was able to get help by accessing my contacts and calling for help. I was in a parking lot half hour away from home, late in the day. Thank goodness I could call for help. I did not know that my iwatch could detect a fall, ask me if I needed help and summoned the right kind of help.

Rather annoying

First of all, the app doesn’t work with my LTE enabled watch without a connection to the phone present, which kind of defies the purpose of the app to begin with. Secondly, it’s not running resident on the watch, so it doesn’t update messages in the background, and every time one has to find and open the app, wait for it to download all the message updates since the last use. And, thirdly, at least once a week, every week, I’m getting a notification on the phone regarding the app. Opening the notification (surprise!) every. single. time! it asks whether I like the app 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️. I say no, I leave a message, explaining why… and then, within a few day, new notification: “Do you like watchapp?” Great job, devs!

Love my watch

I went a long time thinking I didn’t need a watch and a phone! Boy, was I wrong. My daughter got me this watch as a gift and now I can’t live without it. Helps me keep track of messages, can stop phone ringing immediately when needed and helps me find my phone.

The support is not responding.

I downloaded the app on my watch and it worked for a short period of time. Now I have o connect my watch app and app on my cell every time I like to use the app. Also the membership is currently $1.99 per year but the charge is $2.99 per year. I sent an email to the support with the request to explain how much is a membership but haven’t heard from them at all. The bottom line if you don’t get the membership the app is useless. I was going to pay for a year membership but not happy with the customer service ignoring me.

Apple Watch

I changed from Samsung to Apple because my great nephews moved to MI. I couldn’t FaceTime them on my Samsung phone. At first I hated Apple, I just had to get use to the different set up and apps. I bought the Watch and I am so glad. I can take a call from them if I am gardening, walking in the store or watching TV and my phone is in the kitchen. I can get text, emails, weather alerts, police alerts, medical reports, anything you could possibly think of. I don’t know why I didn’t switch before. I can’t imagine going a day without my watch. Convenient and easy

It isn’t hard or having to pay to do. I have a child and this is handy to make sure I don’t miss something important. It’s less stress on me that I would have to handle, I am absolutely grateful for that being given to me.

It’s not like one of those that annoys people with ads bc they want you to be on a subscription plan 24/7. They actually let me breathe without ads! The best! Don’t believe me still? Try it then!

You need to be tethered.

If you're not tethered to your phone and you have cellular on your watch, you can't: initiate or receive calls, and initiate messages. So basically nothing you couldn't do without the app. You are already able to reply to messages on Whatsapp directly from your watch, however, you can't: initiate or receive calls, initiate messages from your watch... So this app is pretty much useless.

Great Addition to Apple Watch Features

The app is a great addition to WhatsApp functionality on my watch. For the basic free functionality, it works really well. I haven’t tried the upgrade yet but it’s tempting.

Needs to sync in real time and work in the background

Two feedbacks: First, I cannot test the app without purchasing a subscription. Still I wanted to try it and paid. Second, after testing for a couple of days I notice that the app doesn’t sync with WhatsApp well. Notifications for read messages still show, images don’t download automatically in the background. I was unable to hear voice messages and older conversations just kept “loading” indefinitely. So while it seems that you are on the right track, the app is still not what I expect for it to be useful.

Junk

Total Junk and don’t waist your time if you plan to use on an iPhone… Every time that you want to play a message, asks you to upgrade or restore purchase… I purchased the annual for $3.99 and was also charged for the $2.99 for 6 month… The developer is also unresponsive after three support tickets were sent in the last 12 days… This is the first time that I reviewed an app from the App Store.. Buyer beware with this one everybody!

Wow!

I teach water aerobics and love that the calories burned are measured. I use the number of calories burn during intervals of the session to motivate class participants. It is a plus for all! I like closing my rings every day.

Battery life

The battery life is very short compared to the OURA ring . Maybe you should give users the option to turn off features on the watch that they don’t use and this may save battery life.

Don’t download this app, Much less put your payment details.

I downloaded this application at the beginning of January and they charged me 9.99 for a year, it was fine. But at the beginning of this month I was charged again 9,99$. Apart from the fact that the application is useless, it is not updated if you are not inside it. It can take up to 15 days without updating your chats.

Does not work.

Had iPhone XR connected to Ultra, does not send or receive messages in anything resembling a timely manner. All IOS and apps up to date, etc. still nada. Not going thru the standard uninstall/install crap (the modern version of turn it off and on), someone needs to write an app that juts works. If it's not Beta, your bugs are not my issue. Waste of 10 bucks.

Messed up watch

My watch worked fine until they upgrade then the phone won’t talk to me and it changed the clock. Not happy with that. Thank you.

Just getting started- seems interesting

Seems interesting but has some annoying tricks to purchas quickly and no other languages than english. Promissing but needs some improvements quickly to not frustrate and continue to grow

No longer working

I bought the subscription to this app because it was the only WhatsApp app for Apple Watch that played videos and voice recordings. Now it is no longer working with the latest update. It just crashes when I try to launch it. This is very disappointing. I have Apple Watch Series 3 and iPhone X.

Very disappointed

I’m subscribed for the anual subscription, but the app doesn’t work. It work for the first week maybe and now it doesn’t even open o my watch, it stays loading. I’ve uninstalled and re-installed a lot of times. I had high speciations on this app it was quite amazing the week it worked correctly.

Just testing to see if it works

I like the idea to use this app, but just in an hour of installing it, it always mark to force refresh and it doesn’t do it, if I want to hear an audio, it works sometimes. I just wanna know if you’re planning on fix it

Watch face

I have problems to get the watch face to be exactly the way I want it—very frustrating for me—I certainly don’t want World clock or Cupertino on my watch face…..

I had a mental breakdown downloading this

I literally cried 3 times while downloading this and when I finally did I have to pay for texting are you kidding me this just makes me annoyed how I can’t even text my mom at school without paying it’s absolutely ridiculous at least make it free

Whats app profile pics are not visible on the liste

I like the app but there is no profile pic on your list like the original one. Outside of that I am pleased with the app overall

Not happy

I have been charged a yearly subscription for this app. I’ve never been able to get it working. It constantly flits in and out on start screen. I’ve used lots of apps without this happening. Recent update done today and still NOT WORKING.

Buyer DON’T Beware!

Waste of money & no feedback from developer. Just wanted notifications on watch from WhatsApp when I wasn’t near my phone. Should’ve known better when it wasn’t developed by Apple. Seems like 99% of people have same issues!

Im 76 and prone to fall. My Apple watch is there for me to call for help if I need it. It allows me to Monitor my heart rate also.

Does not work!

Paid for the app thinking that I can use my apple watch to send messages but the app is never updated, just show old messages and even when I restart the app it works Totally disappointed

Issues- need help

The app just disappeared off my watch face. I just updated it today. On my phone the app just blinks on and off. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔

Does not work without iphone connected to Apple Watch

Extremely poor technical support. I sent them 4 emails ( from app interface and just by regular email ) No reply at all !!! I have series 9 with cellular capability and this app does not work without iphone connected to the watch. Very disappointing and no answer from support at all. Don’t waste your money. I hope developer will comment at least this time.
