Love your TV station, disappointing when you're not available to watch. Enjoy watching the staff as the make jokes on air and everyone seems to get along with each other. Jamal Spencer is a great sportscaster, like watching his take on sports. Thank you for being there for the latest updates around the City of Walker and beyond. We appreciate what you do!!

Look at Us Go!

We need to hear more about Muskegon! We feel like shirttail relations ! We have a lot going on and it is not mentioned. A lot the stories about the wonderful works, and the people that do them go unnoticed. These stories are not unlike those of Grand Rapids . Take a closer look at Us!

It’s nice having local news, but the design is unintuitive

I love having my local news in a separate app, as it’s guaranteed relevant to me, but navigating inside the app can be a tad frustrating unless you’re only interested in the “featured stories.” Also, the weather section is slow to load and I’d rather not have to download the separate weather app for basic radar functionality.

Our news

We love to hear our local news. Only two things that we believe that you can improve are: Ludington and Scottville are in your viewing area and don’t get mentioned in weather. We had about four inches of snow in the last storm and you said that we didn’t get any, just a dusting. Ha, ha. Also meteorologist, Michael Berrens says “heading” 10 to 15 times during his forecast.

I appreciate reading the important and up to date weather and news. If I want more detail I can always google another source. Ch 13 is concise and pretty accurate.

Too many pop-up Ads

I love WZZM13 app & on FB, it just seems like when I am trying to read a story or find something ads continually pop up.

This news app does well in giving local news and easy to navigate. I would recommend it.

Local news

The preciseness of the reporting is appreciated. Sometimes the timing is a bit later which may be a factor of trying to cover more than can be reported quickly. Overall a worthy source of West Mich news and weather.

We no longer live in West Michigan but own property there. Also have lots of family there, so we are interested in what is happening there.

Ads are ridiculous

So many ads that make the page jump around. Also, this review pop up….I was just trying to scroll through the news and accidentally touched the pop-up while doing so. Very frustrating. I use wzzm13 app less because of these things.

Difficult

The old app was much more user friendly. If I can’t figure out how to use this app and am somewhat tech savvy, how are my aging parents supposed to figure it out? Where can I find the school closings? Where is the search option? So many of he good features are missing. I think I’ll delete the app and just use the website until they fix it and make it functional again.

New App

The new app is difficult to maneuver through. I’ve tried numerous ways to advance through the “Local News” articles, I end up on the weather page or back to the top of the “Home” section. The whole app is too busy and is not a simple way to get my news. I will be using the Wood 8 app and the Fox 17 app for my local news. I’m in my 40s and very computer/app literate. This new app design is terribly confusing.

Too many ads

There are so many ads constantly popping up that it is almost impossible to read any news articles. They go full screen automatically, blocking the articles. The also could do a better job of shrinking the initial size of the articles so you don’t have to scroll constantly because you can only see one at a time.

Needs better functionality

App crashes on opening. Closing app and reopening several times eventually gets to the home page but crashes constantly when trying to browse through it. iPhone X and latest updates.... the app needs serious work on functionality. The website is ultimately where I have to go for their news.

I get no alerts

I have this app. I used to get weather, news and school closing alerts. Now I only get occasional news alerts. WHY WHY WHY? I don’t even care about news alerts, but I need school and weather alerts. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and that hasn’t helped. Any ideas? Can't you fix this issue? I’ve resorted to using a competitor’s app to get the weather and school closings. Ugh.

Good News App.

Very accurate and always updates. Has good writers and I like reading it. Makes it so I don't have to take the time to stop and watch the news.

Lifelong liking of WZZM

I have always liked WZZM! We began watching WZZM when it came Grand Rapids, and it has continued to be our favorite television station. You seem to attract good people to work for you (and your viewers).

No longer a reliable news source

WZZM use to be the standard for news in west Michigan, now most of their stories are opinion pieces. People are not looking for someone to tell them what to think about the news, just the facts.

Not updated as often

I love your app but need to have more update and more often. I wait till 11 pm on your app to see it live it right now 11:18 pm and nothing yet only old recordings. We love out of city limits no cable or antenna would work only internet.

Doesn’t work!!

This app does NOT work! It simply freezes. I delete the app and re-install it at least 2 or 3 times per week. I’v tried shutting down my iPhone 11 and restarting with the same freezing issue. I have removed and re-installed it TWICE today. I want to be hopeful it will work, but am giving up. BAH! Please fix this app!

Not improved

New update does not include water temperatures, and is choppy. Scrolling jumps around and is constantly loading ads, very disruptive. I’ll give it a couple days, but will remove if it doesn’t improve.

It’s ok

I used to like the App, but lately when I am reading an article, the ad at the bottom of the page starts up and I have to X out of it.. it happens more than once.. Hope you can fix that..

Too confusing

I liked the old app better. This one is too confusing and hard to find what you are actually looking for. I tend to get frustrated and give up.

Annoying

Got sick of the incessant updates on covid counts. All doom and gloom and no positive updates. WZZM13 used to be my favorite channel but over the last couple years and more importantly in 2020, they became an extension of the Governor’s executive branch. They have forgotten what journalism and news is and just regurgitate what they are told to say by the government.

The worst app I have!

I have had this app for some time now, always updated and it is garbage! It never loads when I go directly to the app or when I click on a story from my notifications. NEGATIVE 6 Stars!

Worst weather app possible

I lost over $3000 today. Thanks WZZM for the worst possible weather news possible. People should believe just the opposite of what you forecast. Thanks for putting a lot of farmers further in debt.

Closings list is terrible

As a parent one of the main things I want from news app is closings. The ads make it hard to even find the closings and they seem to get them way after other Chanels. I’m deleting this app today.
