This app is bad

Poor App! News is often very general information and lacking detail. I don’t want to know just that something happened; I want details. The same articles seem to go on for days with little to no updates. The constant download of ads seem to slow down the performance of the app to deliver new content. Frustrating to use.

I travel a lot out of the country and was hoping to keep up with our local news. I find it very disturbing the number of grammatical errors and links that do not work. If they are going to promote their apps then someone should spend a couple of minutes proof reading the postings. The site also lacks updated news on a regular basis.

Have had issues in the past where app would totally crash so decided not to download it. Finally when I decide to reload it after a few years I’m thinking maybe something has been fixed. Nope same issue. When a news update pops up and I click it the news story sometimes pulls up with an advertisement which I click x to exit. Once I do that story pulls up and shortly after completely crashes. Have to reload app and try to get back in to click story to load. Need to fix this bug very annoying.

I enjoy the up to date alerts about local news and the updates with the weather reports for the day. It's all very timely. Thank you.

Duplicate push notifications aren't as bad on an iPhone/iPad, but on an Apple Watch...it's pretty useless. It'll display 'you have two KVIA messages' instead of breaking news, making it an inconvenience on the Apple Watch. Other than that, this is always the first of my various news apps to push breaking news.

Having to be working in front of a computer without a minute to spare, I love getting the first alerts on my cell phone to at least be connected to what is going on in the world. 👍🏻

I catch most of my news from your great app but I also livestream and for the past month it has been kicking me off after just a few seconds of beginning the stream. I’ve looked for updates, deleted and added the app and it still does the same. I have an iPhone 8. Please fix!

It's so annoying to receive 2 & 3 notifications of the same thing, for every single notification sent. I have to close multiple notifications instead of just one. Why is it doing this? I'll try deleting & reinstalling. It's been like this for a year & I'm tired of it... 😡

I love keeping abreast with news electronically. I enjoy being kept up to date with information.

It's almost 11:00 am, and the news STILL has not been updated. Lame! Other local news apps update all morning. Get it together, developers. I'm going elsewhere for my local news, until this app is improved.

Still I little slow. Video quality not the best but will work for now until the next update. Keep working on it.

Unlike other apps, like the El Paso Times, this app takes you directly to the story

The only thing lacking on this app is the ability to stream live news broadcasts on apple ios devices.

This is the most comprehensive coverage for this area. Stable app and easy interface.

I'm not a big fan of their format, but they usually have the new stories, would like a more diverse format on their main page (local, U.S. News, World News, Breaking stories) thats why i give u guys a 3...

Like news, weather, X-tra and senior anchors. Newer anchors seem to stutter reading news more often than other channels. Still best channel overall.

The app only loads commercials not the actual videos. First time using app and it’s not working. Tried to load on wifi and mobile networks and all commercials no video. ABC trash anyways trump haters are losers

Great station and reporting. Videos constantly stop and require tapping the play/stop to continue. Frustrating! This is ongoing.

Great getting news alerts as they happen.

App is freezing and crashing too much. I look into my crash log on phone (settings >privacy >analytics data) and the KVIA app is a long list of entries. Way more than any other app.... why? Please fix this!

For some reason on ios 14.4 videos won’t load on this recently updated app. Have to go to the website to see any videos.

You just lack content for the area. The weather is very limited. Can not see different radars or other areas. Not my goto app for news and weather.

There are a lot of repetitive stories and it's not that informative and annoying.

The app has been great so far. I'll type more as I use it more.

Articles ok, but social media links scrambled, story scripts don't align with stories and some are missing. Do better! You are an ABC affiliate, act like one!

Really slow and not updated often enough. I'm still reading stories that are days old.

I like Kvia very much. The younger anchors are great. It's time to refresh the anchors like KTSM. Younger is better. Say goodbye to the old and keep the young.

Your app has constant repeats of the same stories .... Why is that?

Putting out up to date news less and less. Does National Enquirer ring a bell.

No longer active. Says it's in negotiation with DIRECTV. Was 5 star before that happened.
