Amazingly, this is exactly what I wanted. I’ve always wanted an Armillary sphere, but I never liked the cheap fake ones that are decorative only. This is better than the real thing because it is accurate, with me all the time, and comes with instructions. I’ll learn on this one and know what I’m doing if I ever find a real one to own. Armillary is a handy astronomical application for measurement and recording specific times, locations and movement of the Sun and the stars, based on a Ptolemaic model.
