The whole UI is archaic. I attempted to use this to submit a claim but the error: “Service Type Required” kept popping up even though all information had been entered. The website isn’t much better, same archaic UI that freezes and is difficult to navigate and not user friendly in the least.
This app is useless. I took my wife and son to get simply and exam. The optometrist stated that I needed to simply submit a power form to Davis Vision thru a portal. I tried online but no go, so I tried thru this app, I keep getting Service Type Error. Finally my wife’s submitted but nothing shows success on the claims history. I still am unable to get my sons submitted. Just useless.
The app is very basic overall, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Provides plan and claim info, provider lookup, limited member info. What it needs is support for Apple Wallet for storing member card, and FaceTime Login integrations.
Trying to log-in to the app informs me that there was an error and the server couldn’t be contacted. Trying to log-in on my computer instead sticks me in a loop saying “you’re not logged in, log-in again.” If I can’t even use the app, it’s a bad app. Don’t bother with it.
App crashes and logs you out every single time you hit benefits section of the app. Even in the menu section of benefits. All other buttons work as expected. I have deleted and re downloaded the app and problems continue.
I looked in each link and could not find the log out. I closed the app then waited a few minutes. It did not automatically log out either. It was still open.
This is the most useless app I’ve ever downloaded. Twice now it has showed me a provider that doesn’t except my insurance. If you’re not going to keep it updated just get rid of it.
I uploaded this app after receiving the BCBS FEP Vision post card in the mail encouraging you to try the app out. It still has server connectivity issues. You have to delete the app to get out of the loop and save battery life.
Can’t even create an account, won’t accept any passwords, clearly following their criteria. Tried 5 times, called CService, said no exclamation points, so tried other symbols, nothing works. CRAP!!!!
This app doesn’t work at all. Customer service for BCBS vision can’t get their stories straight. What an absolutely useless product. It’s not even worth 1 star.
Submitting a claim through the app is easy. Never got the reimbursement though Zelle. Just ask for a check. They can’t figure out when or where the claim reimbursement went.
App refuses my correct password. I know this is the correct password, because I can login to the BCBS FEP vision website with the exact same login credentials.
Blue Cross has good insurance but whoever writes their apps needs to be replaced. Continual problems with both us and the healthcare app. I can’t even log into this one, just spins the wheel of death.
It’s like someone read a magazine article about what apps can and should do, but they’d never used an app and the didn’t try the one they built. My sincere hope is that BCBS isn’t using my premiums to pay for this, but instead the CEO’s nephew is working on a middle school project. It’s a solid D-. Is there a waste/fraud/abuse hotline that someone can call? Geez.
This app is so annoying...it has a login option but sends you to the website to login. It sends an email with a security code versus a text which is annoying as well. I have to reset my password every time I try to login even though I have the password saved for this. Get it together
I have never been able to get past the log in screen because it freezes up and displays a perpetual “please wait” message. To be fair, freeing up may not be the right term because the loading icon is still spinning. But that’s it. I’ve tried it on two different devices, iPhone and iPad, band tried it both on iOS 14.01 and on iOS 14.2. Same garbage, different devices.
