BedJet 3 Smart Remote

I’m a BedJet user of several years now, and so is my wife. Th device is fantastic, utterly reliable, and we love the remotes. Best sleep of my life, without exaggeration. Forget any devices that cool you with water and what not, being dry under the sheets is king and having airflow around your body while you sleep is a recipe for best dreams ever. I am giving 4 stars to the app, however. Here’s why: 1. It doesn’t connect to my wife’s BedJet even though it is fully updated. Says it needs a firmware update for the app to work. But the firmware version is identical to my BedJet, which works with the app 2. I’ve been using this contraption for years. It’d be great if it had a log of every time I changed the temperature at night so that I could construct a biorhythm based on my prior usage. I don’t remember when I set the temp to go up but it’s in the wee hrs of the morning which I must record on paper like a cave person 3. Setting the biorhythm is always in F (Freedom) temperature units, even though I have the whole system set up in C (Correct) temperature units. That’s a bummer because I have to make Alexa work overtime trying to translate the alien values into ones my european meat suit can relate to

I have actually been meaning to write this for so long. My boyfriend bought me the BedJet. I was thinking there is no way I am going to sleep with this thing on.( Oh, but I loved the commercial he showed me. Another thumbs up on that. ) I like to try new things so what the heck! No BedJet is fantastic if you get hot or cold at night this is the way to go. Stops my hot flash before it even starts. The heat is great too. Way better than a heating blanket. The remote is such a nice thing and you can use an app on your phone. You can set it to any temp. I live in California we have had some rain storms and power outs. The only thing I was bummed about when the power went out is I couldn’t use my BedJet. I love it. I can’t imagine not having it. I always get a good night sleep. I was completely suffering at night. Thank you BedJet. On behalf of women everywhere thank you for caring about us and our night time struggles with body temperature. My boyfriend thanks you too!

So first let’s clear up some misconceptions about the product. It heats and it cools but it does not cool you like an air conditioner with a condenser and refrigerant. It takes the cooled air, the air closest to the floor and forces it through a tube that terminates to a spout under your covers. You can also get a special sheet that helps tether the end of the tube to the bed. I live in California and it works pretty well but on an extremely hot day I turned on the AC. That being said I used the AC about half as much as I used to. The device can be as loud as being on a plane in flight or as quiet as air rushing through a vent. You control the speed through the application. It also heats your bed very well. For cold climates this is a must. It works very well and you no longer need an electric blanket. I can’t sleep without now. I like the air flowing through the bed giving me a cloud like experience. The program is intuitive and has no drawbacks.

I received this bed jet system as a gift initially because I was having a hard time sleeping with my hot flashes from my chemo pills and from also being in menopause. It was very difficult for me to get back to sleep after having these hot flashes. The bed jet is a cooling air system that can be remotely controlled by your phone and it has three different Memory settings on it for temperature and time. There is also a heating system for in the winter time if your bed feels cold and you can turn on the heater and I can get up to 104° within a minute I like to run my cooling fan at about 65° and have it set about three minutes and that’s all it takes and I am able to go right back to sleep.I still get my hot flashes multiple times at night but now it’s so much easier to control them and to get a better nights sleep-I recommend this whole heartedly.

There seems to occasionally be a bug where the temperature gauge bounces between different positions. Other than that this app works as expected, but I thought the design overall was a bit odd and makes the app clunky to use. Suggestion: Get rid of these weird modes and just include a temperature gauge with a fan speed slider below that you can adjust. Limit the fans lower limit when using the heating modes. The different modes are just confusing and I notice little difference between the core modes. There should instead just be a 3 level drop-down labeled “heat” (cool(cool), medium(dry), high(heat EXT)) which controls how aggressive the heating engages. (We shouldn’t be limited to 74 degrees in heating modes. Just unlock the entire normal range 66-92). Turbo should be it’s own button with a high and low toggle (these would be turbo heat (high) and heat (low) which will automatically adjust the timer and fan speed as needed, and unlock higher temp ranges.

We had the original BedJet and app. That app wasn’t perfect - that’s for sure. But this app didn’t keep the good things from that one and just fix the bad. This app fixed some of those bad things but then ruined the good. In the old app when creating a biorhythm, you could easily see the total time it would run - as you added steps you always knew the total time. In this app, you have no idea. If you’re creating a complex one, trying to add up all the minutes and covert to hours is a crazy and unnecessary pain. Also on the old app in biorhythm creation you could see many steps at a glance and easily. On this new app, you can only see a few and the small window with scrolling is janky. BedJet really needs to hire a UX Design Expert to work with their programmers. It’s embarrassing to have such an innovative product with such a disappointing app.

Update: I rebooted bedjet and phone. Still could not connect. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. It finally works. It’s pretty nice that you can make your own programs quite easily with the app. I wish you could have more than three programs. But I am happy I finally got connected. Just can’t connect the bedjet to the app. Can’t go back because button is greyed out. Had to re scan multiple times. Still cannot connect at all. Power on and off. Restart app. Still no connection. Why such a pain? Thought this version didn’t need connection to an app because remote does everything (except update software)?

Living with my wife for the last few years has been beyond exasperating due to her constant hot flashes. In our bedroom at night she has two ceiling g fans on at full speed, an air purifier, and the central air conditioner blasting at a cool 65 mist nights, Winter and summer an the two months in between. This year for Christmas, I thought about what can I get to cool her down from her hot flashes without giving myself frostbite. We have a split king Sleep Number brand bed. To get their cooling system would have put me back two grand for both sides. I did some extensive research and came across the BedJet. After much consideration and reading every review I could find on line I decided less than a week before Christmas to get the BedJet. It arrived on the doorstep on Christmas Eve. We set it up on . Christmas Day, which was more than easy enough. The end result is we are both in a better mood now that we are independently temperature managed on both our sides. She says it is the best gift that I have ever gotten her. I smile and say, “anything for you baby” I almost feel guilty knowing that it was really a gift for me! I give BedJet an A+. Ralpg

Have only been using product for several days now and not sure why the temp control isn’t more automated. I wish that I could just set a temperature that I would like the bed to maintain and not worry about whether I need to switch it to cool or heat mode. Seems like there could be a deadband of 2 degrees in an auto mode that would switch between heat or cool. Another thing I wonder is why I can’t have a specific time set in the bio modes. For example if I get to bed late, the wake up mode will take place the same number of hours after I start the program, not at 5 am when I get up in the morning. Love the product so far, just wish the app had better control options. Would also be nice to see some body temp sensor option that the BedJet could monitor to help automate the perfect sleep temp.

There are many who suffer from night sweats. I have a chronic condition and have suffered from this side effect for years This product for is for you. No more waking up at 4 a.m. because your sheets are soaked. This device is surprisingly simple and is easy to set up. They sell a custom sheet as an option. I have never needed it. Bonus: if it’s a cold night or you are cold hit the turbo button and the timer will blow hot air into your sheets for ten minutes (or less, if you’d rather - remember how you said you would never use heated seats in your car😉). This product was rejected by the crew at Shark Tank (American show that assesses new products). They were so wrong!

I was so lucky and blessed to receive the BedJet as a Christmas gift and could not be happier about this item. It was easy to set up, we got and his and hers side because he’s always hot and I’m always cold. The sheet does a really good job about keeping his air on his side and mine on my side. We sleep better through the night and the turbo has helped considerably during the cold walks with the dogs and jumping in to 109° feels amazing. Really a great purchase all around. Even from a technical review side my husband’s BedJet had some rattling we heard after a month, he contacted the help desk they asked him to reboot the machine and it’s been working ever since. It’s been two months now, but I’m looking forward to the years of experience.

Upon installing the long awaited app i couldn’t wait to get started.........Nope i was greeted by a screen that said that a firmware update was required after waiting the 90 seconds i tried the app again since i could t click the ok button because it’s grayed out for some reason. It still said it needed the firmware update but when i clicked install update it said no update needed.... ummm ok. So i instead tried the bedjet remote(which only works with the battery cover off for some reason) to install the update but again it says no update available.... what.... so i tried the app again. to no avail.... look i love bedjet i love the company and the people behind it.. and i’m not upset about these issues i’m just writing this in case someone else encounters these issues so they know they are not alone. let me reiterate how much I LOVE BEDJET 🥰 my bedjet 3 is the reason i sleep at night. just please let me use the app... please 🥺

My wife and I have had temperature issues since dating. I like a warm bed; she likes a cool bed. She keeps the room temperature at 60 deg F at night. Frankly until she discovered BedJet and ordered it as a gift on my birthday, I have contemplated twin beds. Then came wrapped in a box our BedJet! Our problems solved!! I have my section set on 83 deg F, she has hers on 60 deg F. Fans supplying air to the bladder sheet that you placed above your regular sheet rest under bed and are fed via a dryer type hose. Well thought out and very professional. Each side have a remote and they are the best ever remotes; very well designed and engineered. We’re going on vacation and I’m trying to figure out how to take the system with us.

Purchased bed jet end of August 2022. The double set up for wife and I on a California king size bed with the bed jet sheet. With her night sweats and my blood pressure causing body heat and chills through out the night this was the best choice ever. Works just as videos show from the ad! Now on to costumer service with the warranty. One of our young Aussie pups thought it would be fun to chew not 1 but both the remotes. Got online sent email and with in 24hrs we have a new set on the way. I would give this 10 stars. Price is a little high but welllllll worth every penny!! If your reading this, don’t hesitate. The new BedJet App FIXES my only complaint about my favorite product. The BedJet is SO GREAT for women. We can be cold one moment and the next we can put off more heat than the Fukushima Power Plant. The BedJet instantly addresses every discomfort. It is literally my favorite modern invention. My only problem was the remote control device required batteries- and could easily be lost. NOW it is controlled by my phone!!! And this version of the App WORKS FLAWLESSLY!! I would still prefer that the unit it set have a control switch that can be manually controlled as well- but this new APP is the next best thing! THANK YOU for this upgrade!!

Me and my husband decided a few weeks ago to order a bedjet. My son-in-law had purchased one about a year and a half ago for my daughter. They just loved the bedjet and told us we need to purchase a bedjet. This investment has been a good investment, we absolutely love our bedjet. We sleep all night, getting at least 8 hours sleep per night. The bedjet is easy to assemble and setup of control is easy. I have the app on my iPhone, I can turn the bedjet on while still watching TV so that it will be at the temperature we want before going to bed. You will not regret this purchase. I did purchase the four extended warranty and sheet with the bedjet.

I just plugged this in and set it up. Then I crawled into bed to test it and I am absolutely sold on it. Felt like small feathers cascading around my body under the blanket. It's super quiet, can cool as softly or aggressively as you like, and has both a remote and app. When it's night, I prefer not to fire up my phone, but if I can't find the remote, at least I have the app. The sheets do blow up like a balloon if the air has no where to go, so if you have any animals that sleep on top of your bed covers, they could bust your bubble. I'm in Central Florida and we're having some of the worst heat ever. But it's nice to know that even if we lost power and our AC, I could still plug this into our EcoFlow batteries and would be able to sleep comfortably at night.

How can I connect 2 phones to the same BedJet? Either my wife’s phone or mine can be connected but not both. Randomly stops working and I need to pair it again. It’s supposed to have WiFi but it doesn’t work to use the app. It’s only for firmware updates as far as I can tell. This is a very expensive device and I expected more. I was excited the it supported WiFi and not only Bluetooth but that doesn’t seem to matter. Operating the device can only be done with Bluetooth. Edit: After the response it makes sense why Bluetooth doesn’t work as is hoped as well as the WiFi.

My dad got my mom a bedjet for christmas and she lovesssss it!!! I didn’t even know about the contest but months later she gets a message that her reaction won and 3 days later it came (talk about instant gratification)😂 now I have one!! After using my moms many times I realized how amazing it was and said to myself, man I really need one of these! Sure enough her unboxing reaction was the winner, it was honestly the best because my mom is so pure and that was the most natural reaction from her you could’ve got on camera. I recommend one for everyone - if your feet get really cold, if you sweat at night, or if you sleep with the fan on. Thank you bedjet for this piece of luxury!!

There is no way to connect to The bedjet 2. The irritating part is that nowhere in the app description does it say this. And, it doesn’t tell you outright in the app. It connects, then takes you to a page where it says you must press a button that on exists on the bedjet 3. Either make it compatible or change the description on this app saying it’s exclusively for the bedjet3. Update: while this app doesn’t work, the correct one does and it works great. Easy to setup. This device is a miracle. I could never live with it again.

Having a Bedjet has made a huge change in my life giving me relief from hot flashes and night sweats. I can not even begin to say how grateful I am to those who invented the Bedjet. I have used it every night since the day I purchased it and that was five years ago. We now live in a desert region and I could not get through a summer without my Bedjet. It keeps me cool in the hottest Temps. It also helps in saving energy because we are able to keep the air conditioning temps higher during the night and use the Bedjet to cool us instead. I highly recommend the Bedjet either for cooling or heating.

When it works, it’s great. I’ve told so many people about it …it just seems too good to be true. Well, apparently it is too good to be true. I have the adjustable part and it does not work or operate smoothly, so they said that they would send out a new remote. I have not received that and it’s been weeks. the BedJet itself has been erratic and sometimes changes temperature or just stops putting out heat/air and I have to wake up and turn it back on but at least it worked. Now it’s not working at all. The sales people are very knowledgeable and speak confidently about the product. Unfortunately when you call back you get somebody who doesn’t seem to know what’s going on. And I guess they make promises like replacing the remote that may or may not happen.

This app was easy to connect to the BedJet 3. It’s pretty easy to figure out and use. It’s using Bluetooth to connect to my iPhone and it’s very quick and responsive. I wish there was a help screen to remind me what makes Dry and Ext-Heat special, so I don’t have to dig out the user guide . Starting a Bio Rhythm Save is confusing because the names on the Load Screen do not match the assigned names. I wish it had shortcut support so I could more easily activate the settings I want from an iOS widget. Especially when I wake up in the middle of the night and want to change something immediately. And I wish it supported changing settings at a specific time, rather than in X number of hours or minutes. I don’t go to bed at the same time every day, so I have to do math to customize the bio rhythm settings, which is a drag.

My wife and I had been looking for something to help us with our issues in the summer and winter while we’re in bed of being too cold or too hot and The Bed Jet has satisfied both situations with great success !! The built-in fan has several different speeds to satisfy any need and the heat functionality and the air conditioning functionality or second to none! We are even considering getting a second one added to our bed on those days when she wants it at a little different temperature than me

I love the customization and user friendliness of this app. The only thing that bothers me is having to re-enter the WiFi passkey each time I open the app. It would be nice if the app saved it and automatically connected. There are too many clicks to get to the controls page in order to use the appliance. Update: I really appreciate the software upgrade. And even more so I love that this company listens to feedback. The app does work great, but on a daily basis is less convenient than the remote. Last thing I’m trying to do in the night is unlock my phone and open the BedJet app to adjust the temperature. What would really be useful is Siri, Shortcuts, and HomeKit support. Would love to have the status of BedJet right on my home dashboard, turn workflows into automations with Shortcuts, and most of all, have Siri support so I can call out a temperature, preset, or fan speed to the BedJet in the night with “hey siri” without opening my eyes or fumbling for the remote. Being a smarthome-esque product used for sleep, this makes total sense.

The app works well and this device is amazing. I’ve only had it for three nights and I already can’t imagine life without it. Sleeping will be miserable from here on out. It’s as addicting as having a bidet!! Small investment for a major upgrade in sleep quality and I’m expecting that it will help me cut down on my utility bill because I used to sleep with it on 70° at night and now I have my thermostat set for 74 but my BedJet is set for 70. So far I am very pleased.

Bought bedjet as a replacement for my heating blankets and it works amazingly, but the app is surprisingly outdated and it’s weird they boast about it as a benefit. It lowered my perception of the nice looking, sleek bedjet to load up a janky out of date app to match with it. I wouldn’t use the app. Just use the remote and you’ll have a better time with the product. Using the app makes it seem like a cheap novelty rather than an advanced sleep gadget. It needs a facelift, less clunky input boxes, and to run smoother overall to match the product it pairs with. Updated review after developer comment.

This app is worthless. I can’t connect to Wifi no matter what I do and every time I try it completely interrupts my wifi signal so that NO devices can connect to wifi even though there is nothing wrong with my internet signal itself (devices plugged directly into my router are fine). On top of that it will repeatedly interrupt my wifi signal until I reset the bedjet 3 to factory settings, turn it off, and unplug it. I’ve tried multiple times on different days and weeks and the same thing happens every single time. It only happens when I try to connect this app to wifi. Something definitely is wrong with this app (possibly even the bedjet firmware itself) so I deleted the app altogether. I’ll just use the bedjet remote instead.

Easy online ordering, fast shipping, and great instructions for easy installation. We have been using a BedJet on each side of the king size bed for over a year and love the flexibility. Turbo setting makes for a toasty warm bed in the winter and longer term warm settings allow us to keep the house thermostat set lower than before using the BedJet. Summer just the reverse. The BedJet allows us to keep the house thermostat set a lot higher. We highly recommend this product.

I am a a HOT sleeper. Nothing worked. Bed jet version 2 was my first one. It worked great. I now have version 3. It works wonderful. The APP is fabulous. The remote is great. The unit is perfect for keeping warm or cool. It’s so quiet. It is high tech. The best part of it all is the customer service. Each and every time from day one to now. If I need anything they are there. This is a fabulous company and product. Thank you to bed jet for making sleeping truly heaven.

The app is good at controlling the BedJet and saving presets. The only issue with the app is every time it connects to the BedJet device the app enters wifi setup. The wifi setting don’t get saved after setup. Since wifi is only used for firmware updates, the wifi setup should only be requested when during firmware update if wifi settings not already saved. Once successfully connected to a wifi network the settings should be saved.

So I originally used the remote and was extremely sad because it was only 10 min inquiries. Originally thinking I would have to return because it wasn’t feasible to turn this back on after auto shut off every ten minutes or so. I downloaded the app just because and tried the biorhythm, which sets your schedule and you can run it all night without interruption.

This is amazing, i am a full figured person and i tend to require a fan or i sweat all night, this device, the fan and app have been amazing. It heats and cools and makes constant airflow if desired.. i am considering buying a second one for the other side of my bed. I do however wish there was a skinny tube to allow for foot of bed entry with a headboard and that is why i only gave 4 stars.. what an amazing product wish i would have had one years ago..

The product is fine but the whole experience is extremely cheapened by how poorly done the app is. It will not remember the bed jet or maybe it does but the menu just has a blank “list” of invisible device options. It requires setup each and every time it launches somehow too?! Not to mention it takes many many many minutes to actually connect. BedJet could become a household product if the creators cared enough to invest in their product and weren’t out I make a quick buck which is the vibe the whole thing falls to thanks to the poor app experience.

The app and bedjet have been working awesome so far (about 2 months) until this week when it would not let me start any of my Biorhythms. I would Try to start my nightly biorhythm and it would behave as if I didn’t press a button. It did this for my 3 saved biorhythms, all other controls worked perfectly. Other than this the app has been awesome. I would love to see a bedjet widget in the future! That would be very practical.

I’m very happy with this product, but there’s a couple changes to the app that could really make it 5 stars. When it’s really humid, I use this to dry out the bed sheets before bed, so having an auto turn on function would be great. Also, It would be nice to be able to set the the biorhythm settings based on the actual time, rather than intervals. Otherwise, great product.

We have the pleasure of owning a dual zone system that has been absolutely incredible. We have only owned it through the winter months so far and to jump into a perfectly warmed up sleep zone is truly the foundation to the great night sleeps we’ve been having. We can only imagine how much we will enjoy the summer months using the cooling feature. We bought two more for our sons and they love them too! Great system!!

The BedJet is absolutely awesome and extremely good at what it was intended for! I can’t sleep when I’m hot period. Unfortunately due to my disability I am not able to get out of the bed and the BedJet when it’s been paired up with your Wi-Fi you have the ability to update the firmware and really manage your BedJet easily. This is a way to stay cool and warm in the room for all the weird people that like sleeping in the heat!

I've had a Bedjet for over 3 years now I love it! One of the best investments I've ever made. I've enjoyed it so much I bought one for my grandmother mom and sister all 3 of them love it as well. The customer service when you call is amazing and very helpful kind and go out there way to help you. I recommend every house hold to have a Bedjet in each room that's being used by a household member.

I’ve been a fan of BedJet since it came out. Bought my first one after seeing it on shark tank from Brookstone. It was relatively easy to set up and still have it. Bought another one for our summer house. My issue with it - is this. I hate the app. It’s way too complicated and liked it way better when it was easier to run. That’s all.

The app works very well with the BedJet. Would be nice if they made it to where you could control everything on one screen left and right rather than having to switch. But the app does work very well it is new with a few little bugs here and there takes a little bit of practice to get used to. Have not seen anything on the market like it

I just unpackaged this device. First of all, the instructions are truly simple and easy to follow. How about that for a change?!?! Installing the device takes 10 minutes, and is very easy. Part of the process is installing an app, and the app is simple and efficient and perfect. Now the good part. I am under my blanket amd it feels awesome!! Full cool, 55%, best I have felt in bed (OK, not exactly true) in a long time! Arizona summers are rough! My wife sleeps to one side, my dog to the other, so I am trapped! Now, it feels nice and cool. Amazing!! I played with the settings and it is more than powerful enough to heat/cool our entire king bed. My only regret is not discovering this company, and this product, much sooner.

I love my BedJet! I tell all my friends about how they can eliminate their night sweats, too. It is the only way I can sleep. I actually miss it when I’m not home. The only thing I would change is to give customers one more additional extender to keep the jet tube in place (like mine currently) - (and, as an entrepreneurial opp, make a travel one, too 😉😎) - dr cortney baker

How did I live without my BedJet? I LOVE IT! My house is always cold. I joke that I live in a wine cellar instead of my home cause it is always 69/70 degrees in my house year around. So, I use it EVERY night I am in my bed. I work from home, so I sometimes use it during the day. I am surprised I have not blown up the motor yet, that is how much I use it. When I wear this one out, I will buy another one without a doubt.

Bed jet is a lifesaver! I am chronically ill and will sometimes spend days at a time in bed. The cool air helps when I am overheated or running a fever. The heater helps with the cramping in my legs. It’s been a total game changer. It’s made my quality of life so much better. Oh! And everyone else loves it too. My husband loves the heater. The little kids will bring me books and beg me to turn on the heat.

Finally!! I have been waiting for this iOS remote app for quite some time. I was so excited to see that it took all of the guesswork out of creating a biorhythm setting. By just answering a few short questions, the remote set up the biorhythm for me and I was able to run the program within minutes of opening the app. The program successfully ran all night! THANK YOU!

The app is nearly impossible to use. Every time I open it, it forces me into the pair to WiFi screen, which then doesn’t work as it just randomly says unable to connect, then forces me to do a firmware update which can’t connect to the internet, then I have to re-setup the BedJet every time. The 3 memory buttons at the bottom just say “button” even if you rename them (they do work though). It’s like they paid a team in India to make this app, then didn’t even test it, and just shipped it to production. I could make a better app than this.

Hello All, When my husband bought the BedJet I truly thought it was going to be a waste of money.. BUT, after using it for 2 nights I am in love. The heat during the winter whether you are just warming the bed or using it for hours and then the cooling during the summer (my husband has a full blanket on the bed as I freeze him out). I no longer wake up at night sweating (menopause). BEST INVESTMENT EVER!!

I recently purchased and installed a BedJet 3 without a remote (app only). The product itself works (used it only one night so far), but the app asks me to set up the remote (which I don’t own) and enter WiFi credentials every time I open the app. It does not remember my WiFi credentials. I have ensured I’m on the latest version of the app and have also checked (via app) for new firmware but am told I’m up to date.
