This app would be great for pilots, but it’s nearly impossible to get a useful reading when I’m flying. It would be nice if it detected I was over a certain altitude (4,000 FT MSL?) and moving over a certain speed (75 knots?) if it would start sampling my blood oxygen more regularly and if it would start notifying me as I get in the lower 90% range to remind me to start supplemental oxygen.
Major oversight? Why doesn’t this offer a low blood oxygen notification? Like how we get an AFIB or high heart rate notification if we have an Apple Watch? It would really help with COVID patients who are told they don’t need to go to the hospital until they reach a certain threshold.
Hello, why the Blood Oxygen Program and the ECG program do not work in the Watch Series 6 in Iran. We, who provide watches with so much effort, should not be able to use its facilities. It is our right to use technologies.
Not able to download the app tho my account is a US account and staying in a region eligible to download the app. Anyone could help? Hence, my brother downloaded it but I couldn’t!!
With the Blood Oxygen app on Apple Watch Series 6 or later*, you can measure the blood oxygen saturation levels directly from your wrist. Using the blood oxygen sensor on Apple Watch, the Blood Oxygen app can help you assess oxygen levels in your blood and get insights into how well your body is absorbing oxygen and overall wellness. Features • Allows you to take on-demand blood oxygen measurements. • Performs periodic background measurements throughout the day and overnight if you wear your Apple Watch to sleep. • Stores all measurements in the Health app on iPhone, with the ability to filter and view measurements taken while asleep or in a high-elevation environment. *Blood Oxygen app is not supported by Apple Watch SE. The ability to measure Blood Oxygen is no longer available on Apple Watch units sold by Apple in the United States on or after January 18, 2024. These are indicated with part numbers ending in LW/A.
