I have been a member a cali fit since 97. Seen a lot of changes. As California family fitness has grown and expand their gyms, it makes it easier to choose a gym that’s close to you you’re home. Cal Fit has helped me in many ways when I joined the gym I was in my 40s now I’m 67 soon to be 68 it kept me healthy and fit in strong. My philosophy is if you stop moving you start dying as long as I’m able and fit. I will be a member for a lifetime. There’s a pros and cons that I see with Cal Fit when I joined 27 years ago it seems the staff were little more friendlier, and the housekeeping was kept up to good standers. I truly enjoy this app. Daily schedule to see for workouts, activities (walking for me), classes at your gym (vs searching through all of them), and easy to operate. I also enjoy the 9 workouts CalFit offers in this app.
Thank you Calfit for offering a variety of classes that have inspired me to be healthy, active, and happy! I have made Calfit a significant part of my life and I have built friendships with both instructors and members that have helped me on my journey to stay fit and joyful!
I have enjoyed the classes in particular strength training with Lisa S and spin classes however equipment is old and the upstairs training room needs cleaning and fans working properly.
I was sent an email from Cal Fit saying that I would get a link to sign into this app, since that would be my access to the gym. I never got that email and when I try to prompt signing up through the app, I also receive no email. It is not in my junk mail folder either. All the the recent reviews about the the new update I believe are true, something must have gone wrong.
Ever since the last update, the location defaults to Rocklin and I have to change it back to my location. Hoping the developers can fix this issue soon! Otherwise, great app.
Sign up for new membership, me and my wife and this app is not even letting us sign up to get the barcode. Worst of all, we have to show our drivers license to access the facility because they no longer offer access cards. If they don’t fix this issue definitely looking at canceling memberships. This time the two starts reviews are all accurate but honestly it should be one star. Good luck for new members
I’m hoping this is a bug they’ll fix asap. Just downloaded the new app, and I can’t schedule any classes. It doesn’t matter what center I choose, it always says that no classes are scheduled. This is literally one of the only reasons I go to the gym, and now I’m going to have to call and ask to be added to the schedule all the time? Really?
New app is not great compared to the old app. There are more exercises to choose from, however they are often named differently or incorrectly. I would also like to have the ability to create AND save my own workouts.
New app is terrible and apparently cal fit staff can’t even help. I’ve been trying to log in and it says it’s telling me my password is wrong. I’ve been trying to reset my password for the last 3 days and I’ve yet to receive the email for password reset link and the staff says just keep trying, eventually you’ll get the email link !!!
The old app worked just fine. This new app rejected my original password so I requested a link for a new one. Just like several other reviewers, after several days and requests, I’ve still not received the email link. Cal Fit should gets it’s money back from whoever designed this app.
Please fix the app. It defaults to the Calfit location on the other side of town. I’m unable to view and schedule classes at the Calfit location near me.
To use the Cal Fit app, you have to tell them your gender, birthdate, height and weight. This is completely unnecessary information for the app’s functioning. Of course, you can do as I did and give them inaccurate information. But what knobhead at the company decided it was a good idea to make these mandatory questions?
This app is horrible since the recent update. It’s impossible to schedule a class. The app defaults to the Madison location and you have to update your home gym every time you use the app. Changing the dates to try and schedule a class ahead of time is hit or miss. Please fix!
I no longer seem to be able to log in. When I try to change me password, it says I’m not connected to the internet, but I am. Is this app still being supported? It appears it was updated 4 months ago.
Since new version of app I cannot log in and have gone to several people at my Folsom branch who just basically gave up on my ever getting this app to work for me again. So disappointing. Lost all my account info and ability for barcode scan entry.
So… I used this app for one purpose, checking in. And now that quick and easy link Iis Gone and if it’s exists in this version, it’s buried to where it’s not even useful. Also, ya know most apps just have an upgrade so you don’t uninstall, install, lose you logon account…
I can’t even log into the app. It won’t send me an email to reset my password and staff can’t seem to help. I can’t even go on the desktop to view the class schedule because it redirects me to this useless app. So frustrating.
We’ve never had issues with the app in the past. Now my family member can’t even login nor reset? So how are we supposed to go in and staff doesn’t know anything either.
I just joined the gym and I can’t log into this app. I’ve requested the invite to sent to be multiple times and nothing happens. None of the staff have been helpful either. I can’t look up class schedules or register.
It’s been a month and I still haven’t been able to log in. I tried resetting my password but the reset link it’s not been send to my email. Please fix this.
The latest update does not allow for enrollment into other selected gym or future enrollment into classes. An error says “ unable to book class. class not found”
I'm not certain why CalFit changed apps. I can't even set a password on this, let alone log in. They need to go back to the old app until they can get this app to work.
The new app is horrible to navigate. Horrible to add your own workout and change reps and weights. The new app is definitely geared towards just signing up for classes.
The desktop version is gone. I can only use the app which is not good on eyes. I mainly use the app to register for classes and I can’t filter for a certain day like the prior software
Such a poorly made app. nothing make sense. There should be like 4 buttons total on the screen and that’s it. 1. Gym pass 2. Classes at *home* gym 3. Hours of gym 4. Rewards Then make it obvious of the hours at the gym. Why all the extra nonsense stuff?
