Families and care givers can trust Carelinx
I’m a caregiver with Carelinx. It’s a good place to work. They treat me fairly and with respect not something you find with most agencies that I’ve worked. I’ve been a caregiver for over 10 years. There are some significant differences I feel working with Carlinx that benefit the client and the caregiver. Families have an opportunity to select the caregiver, interview he/she and understand their specific experience plus access the caregivers personality through this conversation. This works similarly for the caregiver to better understand the specific needs required for the loved one. A new client working with an agency would never have an opportunity to interview a caregiver because they can’t promise who the caregiver or caregivers to be assigned. I’m familiar with agency rates for clients in my area. Working with Carelinx can provide 25% or more savings over agency rates. It’s a good place to work.

Poor business ethics and scam
With this agency, don’t expect any return calls or response from their support or CareAdvisor representative! I even have their manager told me once that “they are not train to give call backs.” yet, they don’t answer inbound calls and when you leave a voice message, they don’t call you! What good is a support team if you can’t reach the person in charge? They also have job post on their App., or site. But these job post are on there for over a year long!!! Out dated and non-active.. What a cheap pathetic scams to wheel people in. To add to that, if you work for a couple. You are technically working and servicing two people under the same roof because morally you can not avoid one over the other, but your PAY will only be for ONE individual because their system only allows you to clock in for one client! So technically you double your work loud for two, but your pay is for only one client! They said “it is what it is.” There must be some legal issues here regarding how CareLinx is profiting from their Caregivers. I hope they get penalize for their illegal practices. Just beware!

Awesome registry great place to work. Very caring and to understanding staff. They work find you but mostly they have already text you the open updates. Pay is good. I give it a thumbs up. They have a lot of work and would network and put there mane out to those that love what they do Helping others.

The service is great but app needs some improvements
Need a “hours remaining” and a “reset hours date” that tells u when the monthly hours reset themself. I painstakingly found 2 locations in the app with hours remaining and both are different. Nowhere in the app could I find when the hours reset. I’d assume at last day of month but not sure. Also needs an iPad app, way to hard to navigate the iPhone app. Overall very thankful of the insurance company that provides this service as well as Carelinx and our caretaker!! Luv how motivated they are and all the careplans, etc.

Won’t use as they don’t understand clients
Started to use the app. Reviewed some applicants. Most of them not qualified (required Spanish, they still applied even though not bilingual). Initiated conversation with one applicant. Got a call and then a text from an “advisor”. As I did not take the 2 calls, busy taking care of dad!, they blocked the app so that I could not communicate with applicants. Fine! There are other more qualified apps ( now using Vmatch) that understand you don’t harass clients taking care of elderly parents. Also all this app does is write a poorly written “add” to send out to people looking for a job. Theoretical background check which guarantees NOTHING, I know because I worked in HR. Unless you get an actual federal background check you have zero guarantees.

Not a good app
I started using this app to check in and check out for my mom to get her hours as a caregiver. Today I tried to check in and with my cell phone it says reload then when I tried to check in again it stopped working. I tried to call the company and they said they don’t have any care representative and they put me on hold. I just hang up and tried to check in on the website and it’s even complicated. Before I can move on with the check in process they took me to a page that says download the CareLinx app on Apple store or Google play. I just deleted the app on my phone they download it again and it’s work fine now. Please fix this glitch on this app

Scam of a Company
My mother signed up to work for this company and wanted me to help her start submitting time sheets after being hired for a couple. Someone from the company called her and the clients and set her up to work for them. When I went to the app it stated my mom was working for no one. The clients didn't even know what timesheet she was talking about, how to pay her, or anything. The clients has zero clue (other than for a phone call) who my mother was, if she has a background check, or if she was even signed up to work for them. This company doesn't really tell you much. It's a guessing game. To top it all off every job offered to my mother was outdated by almost 7 months. There were no new jobs for 2021.

Very slow or glitchy app
Don’t know what is going on with this app, but you can’t even switch between screens in the app without it lagging super bad, it will be a blank screen, maybe it’s a glitch but I always have to exit the app and restart what I’m doing. It’s not very user friendly, especially when you are searching something, click on it to read it and you want to go back to the other search results it won’t show you them anymore, you have to retype it each time. Wastes a lot of time. The clients themselves are great but the app needs work!

Customer Service is Horrible
Advertised for caregivers to assist my elderly mother. Received several applications and reached out to a few when suddenly I was getting an error message that I was at my limit for messages. So I called customer service to find out why. Apparently you are not supposed to ask for resumes or references to be furnished via your personal email address, so they blocked me! The customer service rep was very rude when I called. Isn’t this a free service? I’m sorry I want a bit more job history then what little you provide. I DO NOT recommend this site.

Care plan and timesheet
Having to start back at the beginning of each care plan and scroll to next completed question is a bit taxing. It takes so much extra time. Timesheet is difficult to find, having to complete the reviews with each section, again takes extra time. Hopefully, using just the sign-in/out will be less time consuming.

CareLinx app isn’t great but acceptable
I love the carelinx platform in general! Super easy to use for both the employee and employer and if you have any issues at all CareLinx support is always available and real people with clear accents happy to help you along the way. The app itself on the other hand lags horribly. I’ve tried to uninstall reinstall and still the same issues. Some serious bug fixes need to go an effect for sure!!

App less than desirable for
The app is less than desirable for finding work. It doesn’t function as it’s suppose to. I click on apply to send my application to a possible client and it says applying but then never does. Seems like it would be a good app if it actually worked as intended. Also won’t let me add a photo. It pops up a screen to show me what an acceptable photo looks like but no option to change photo. I’m on iOS.

Convenient quality care at home - great App!
This is a useful app for an affordable needed service. When booking care for my dad in Maine I got to review potential caregivers ahead of time; we explained our needs, the caregivers explained their fees and we agreed on the schedule. Simple to use, convenient, and I love the great support I got from care advisors.

I worked for Care for about two years. I absolutely love it. The flexibility of your schedule is wonderful. Staff is always willing to help. It’s a little slow getting jobs but other than that I have no complaints.

Never heard back from interview and very little jobs available.
I downloaded this app and completed everything, and the app ask you to complete an interview with a carelinx worker, I sent in my availability hours and never heard anything, I reached out to the customer service and they said they’ll check on it. And I never heard back from them again. I decided to delete my account and the app. Such a waste of time. Also they don’t have a lot of jobs available.

Well written app
This is uber of senior care, but more professional quality experience. I needed caregiver for post surgery senior, in a very short notice. The app is fantastic. Over a Saturday few hours I submitted job description, reviewed 3 candidates who applied for it, interviewed , hired one. The caregiver started on Monday. The app is very intuitive and focused on senior care. Takes credit card to pay. The resume of the candidate is very clear. Carelinx assigns a person to help you in the process if needed. This was very seamless experience. The caregiver is working and I am happy with his performance.

App needs Work
I am surprised at the difficulty of using this app on an iPad. You have to hold it like a phone. Rotate the data entry so typing is easier. The typing field for messaging gets blocked by the keyboard pop up so you cannot edit at the very end of a message. The back button does not function. Very frustrating that Aetna is behind this app and it is essentially untested. They should be aware as I know this is not the face of what products they offer. I know it is free, but they did not get this app developed for free. When you are rushed in finding caregivers this app is just plain in the way. Please fix these very basic and simple functions.

I have had this app for an Year now , I did my profile and all the requirements..... applied for jobs no one replied.... the one who replied on the work day they went mia . I called the company they said I should update my intro. I did that ... I have applied for more than 100 jobs no response. Being a caregiver with 5 yrs of experience you want to tell me out of those 100 people no one I could match with ???? SCAM!!!!! They keep on sending me text message to jobs that don’t exist

Waste of time
Do not download this app or waste ur time with this company they basically recruit u and that’s it, I applied for 6 different jobs and didn’t hear anything back, nothing is updated and it’s all old jobs, this is not a sustainable living source and I’m glad I found a job within a week, this company seems really fishy so I really wouldn’t waste ur time at all

App keeps freezing
I don’t know what has been going on with the app but for the past couple weeks it keeps freezing saying I have to reload and nothing happens. I have to restart my phone to get it to work and then it only works a couple times then freezes again later that day. It’s so annoying now. Please fix it !

Crashes and freezes constantly

This app and the people who reach out to you are scammers! I paid for a background check. Due to some delay I requested a refund they said they unable to give me a refund since the check has commenced. For months now they haven’t given me a background check nor a refund! Absolutely ridiculous! I’ve been emailing them to no avail!

Overpriced for What?
This is really just a way to place an ad for a standard caregiver. Can’t fill a pill box. Change a dressing. Put in eye drops. They’ve done basic vetting but that’s easy to do. The upcharges for essentially payroll processing put you at or above agency pricing, without all the benefits of a professional agency. My CNA here I come.

Terrible company as far as delaying payments
If you want to get paid in 1-2 weeks work here. They always have a reason to deny the timesheet, with insignificant reasons, like you sure you worked those hours or who signed your time sheet, or 530 form outdated. They are stalling ….. run

Not impressed; because I was scheduled to work at a facility in East Orange, NJ; and I never got paid after submitting my time sheet 3X and they’ve denied it. Saying they never confirmed my shift to work when it was confirmed via email and the DON at the facility signed off on my time sheet. I’m never working for this company ever again.

It will be great, if any more top not security improvements are added to the app, helping prevent hackers and even other caregivers using your profile , to work. I have a list of fotographs, car license plates of caregivers who claim to work for CareLinx are using my profile to work .

App doesn’t work

This apps is horrible. You can’t clock in or out when switching shift. The location is off. When the app is down so is the actual website. So what is the alternative to clocking in and out for shifts.
