Takes your money and ignores email

I tried to get the $10 pack, and it took my money but didn’t give me what I paid for. I attempted to email them to ask if they could refund me or give me what I paid for and it has been two weeks with no response. I attempted to contact Apple to get my money back and they refused to do so, and this is not the first time this has happened with Apple. Good to know Apple is happy to let their users get scammed by apps like this one.

Can’t purchase credits

I would love this app to actually work. It’s a fun app when it works but tried multiple times and purchase fails. When trying it on the website it doesn’t tell you that you are signing up for a subscription for $40 and you don’t even know what you are buying.

Scam App

App takes your money and does not give credits. App developer does not respond to inquiries and Apple initially refused to process a refund citing that the developer would not approve the refund. After filing a complaint with the BBB, I was issued a refund by Apple a few weeks later.

Took money never delivered service

I paid for several messages and they never appeared to use. They send you the same automatic email that never helps. Apple also did not help refund money. Scam service

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS

Like other reviewers, I attempted to purchase credits. Everything went through on my card but I did not receive credits in the app. No response to my customer service inquiry.

Rip off

Just like the other person said They take your money and do not load any credits No phone number and they don’t answer emails RIP OFF!!! Don’t waste your money

I payed 40$ for credits and the transactions went through, however, an error occurred in app and credits were not received.

No support

Purchases go through and you are charged. But the credits aren’t applied. The support wont respond and Apple won’t do anything about it.

Waste of money

Like most people, I assumed this would be a cheap and easy prank for some friends, and it would have been if it even worked. I bought 10 credits each for 3 separate contacts. None of my contacts unsubscribed, in fact, they were looking forward to them. A message came each day around the same time, however, no facts about cats were anywhere in the messages. Disappointing, right? A little bit. The messages were just asking them if they wanted to receive a fact every hour, and one said “command not recognized.” Not really sure what command though, because none of my contacts had replied. When I tried to get in touch with the company through email to ask about when the cat facts actually start, and why it’s wasting my credits on nonsense completely unrelated to felines, I find that their only form of contact through the app does in fact not work.

Waste of money DONT BUY

I wish I could give an app 0 stars because this is the worst thing ever. I downloaded this and signed up, bought 10 credits for a friend and it said “sending” as the status for hours. Now it says I only have 9 credits left and I tried to click on view conversation and the app shuts down every time. My friend even said they didn’t get a message. Unless you can fix this and get your app working, I want a refund. I will report this as a scam and fraud because that’s what it is. I want a reply because all out us deserve an explanation and a refund.

Not as advertised

I subscribed a friend for one month of cat facts. She is on day 4 and has received 4 messages; only 2 of these messages were cat facts— one asked if she wanted to subscribe to hourly cat facts lol funny but still not a cat fact and the fourth told her she had been subscribed to monthly cat facts. My account was deducted 4 messages for only 2 cat facts. This is not what was advertised. Also, we should be able to view the entire conversation (not just the cat facts) and we should be notified if a person has blocked the cat facts number, so we are not wasting our money. As a side note, the grammar could also use some work. The messages are very clearly written by a non native English speaker.

Worked a week later

I did everything that the developer stated to do in order for this to work - and it still doesn't work. I've got 20 credits by my friend's name in the ap just sitting there and I bought them 3 days ago. Yes, I registered with my email, yes I turned it on. Nothing. Very disappointing. I also find it telling that the developer blames the users instead of making sure his ap actually works. It was only $3, but nobody likes to feel like they got scammed. Enjoy the grande latte mocha that you bought with my money, developer. Wish I could think of a way to scam people out of their money as effectively as you have. Edit: after posting this review my friend got a text from cat facts.

It's good.

Very simple prank. You pay for so many credits = text messages to be sent to someone. It's sent anonymously. You get to see the conversation too. You an turn on and off the text messages to be sent. Only thing is that this app has a delay with updating current information. Like messages sent and received and how many credits are left. Also the push notifications did not work either. I had to go back often and check myself for updates.

Doesn’t work at all how described

Mine worked correctly for two days. Then it stopped messaging my friend, even though I had credits. I emailed them for help 3 weeks ago and they still didn’t respond. Their credit system is very exploitative. You can buy credits, but only for one contact at at time. If you delete someone, but still have credits left you just lose them... not get them transferred to the next person. This app has a lot of flaws. If they want people to be into it, at least make it work properly

Hilarious

This is great, so funny and easy to do. I had some questions when I got started, I contacted Matt and he responded within an hour and was very helpful and polite. Turns out I just needed to be more patient, it's a new app so give it a chance to work. It's so worth it! If you have problems, contact him first before writing a negative review, chances are he can fix it. It's so worth it. This will never get old.

Needs improvements- wouldn’t recommend

Requires in app purchase. 10 messages is 0.99. Here’s my feedback. 1) Once a purchase is made some sort of notification that a message is going to be sent automatically would be nice. 2) Don’t use my credits to send your spam messages. 3) It would be normal to use my 10 credits on multiple people, not just 1 person. Here’s why. I have 8 credits left because messages have not been sent to 1 person. I can’t use those credits on someone else. If I was allowed to use all my credits on multiple people I “MIGHT” actually buy more credits when the other credits are used. I don’t want to buy more credits when I feel like I have some sitting in my account. Right now I won’t because I feel like the app ripped me off. Doesn’t matter the amount, the overall experience is horrible!

Steals your money doesn't do anything

I purchased credits for two different people on this app and set it to send them two messages a day each. This was two days ago and neither person has received any messages despite the app claiming that it sent them as my credits go down. This is 100% a rip off, I gave them money then they literally didn't do anything, this is an app where you pay money then nothin happens. I WILL be opening a complaint ticket to get my money back and rate this 0 stars you crooks.

Didn't have any luck with this app

The user interface is pretty confusing. I can't find a way to really edit any contacts I've tried to sign up. I could change the # of messages a day and I could buy more credits, but that's all. I bought 20 credits for one person and 10 for another, but when I deleted the person who was getting 10 messages (after much difficulty), my credits seemingly disappeared. So it looks like I wasted $3. I guess it doesn't matter since I quickly deleted the app. Bummer.

Don’t bother spending the $

I was so excited about this app. However, 2 of my recipients have yet to even be sent a message, and the other 2 have not gotten as many as I’ve paid for. If they’ve blocked the number, I would understand that but I can’t even reach out to support to inquire about this because the app won’t configure. Also, this review is typing in white so I am blindly writing it. Why is that? Haha.. they don’t want me to see what I’m typing? 🤔

Works like a charm!

Have sent about a dozen friends cat facts. You can see what they reply back with and start/stop at will, even transfer credits from someone who figured you out to a new target. Very responsive support. Does exactly as advertised.

Hilariously Annoying

Fun stuff! Haven't had any issues with support. The app seems to still be in a development stage, but all of my questions have been answered in a timely fashion and if I need help shuffling credits around, Matt is there to help! ❤️😸 Hilariously annoying.

Won’t roll over credits from contacts who blocked

I had fun with a friend, but it wasn’t clear that credits are bought PER CONTACT. Once my first contact blocked the number I was stuck having paid for credits, but now with a number of credits that were useless. I contacted the developer per their FAQ to roll credits over to another contact and no response for a week. I sent another follow up email and a week later NO response.

Great customer service

Contacted customer service to get credits transferred to a new contact and while it took a little time, I was responded to in a decent amount of time and with courtesy. This app is great and I would definitely recommend it.

May as well have lit a $10 bill on fire

I got this app to mess with my roommate and after spending $10 a few days ago on these so-called credits, he has yet to receive a single cat fact. I hope the developers were able to put the money I basically donated to them to good use. Next time I'll just save myself the hassle and burn the money in my fireplace instead, at least then I'll know where it's going.

Funny app doesn’t work

I paid for the 30 credits to send to one of my friends. I waited and waited for him to make a “stop” response but it never happened. Finally, at 4 credits left I asked him if he ever heard of the cat facts app. He said no. I explained the app and he thought it was hilarious. We searched his phone and he never got a single text. So I basically paid to educate myself on cat facts. Bummer system

TERRIBLE!

First of all, you have to purchase credits to use the app and then once you purchase credits, it doesn't work. I even paid for enough credits to have the facts sent out 10 times a day to one friend and he only received like 2 or 3 (all of the same fact literally!!). Also it won't even let me access my account anymore to turn it off. What a scam!!! Don't waste your money!

Credits

They will not allow you to swap credits. You have to buy them for each individual phone number and if the phone number you bought them for blocks the app. Your credits are stuck. I’ve emailed multiple times about transferring credits or getting a refund with no response.

Big Disappointment

The idea is good, but it doesn't let you see the text log. So you have no idea if your friends have gotten the texts or what they said back. Super lame. You click on someone's name and then just watch as a number counts down every 15 minutes or so. Super boring. Developer, please make this app to where we get texted the text log so we can laugh at our friends.

Complete waste

Great idea for a practical joke. However, there are other apps that actually work properly, have better options, and you are able to get into contact with customer service if there are any issues. I am still waiting for a reply for this app regarding issues. Money spent and no texts were sent. Horrible response times if any.

Not worth it

Unfortunately, this app left a ton to be desired. I couldn't see my joke play through. Why is there no way to observe the texts? There is also no notification when the joke has started. All in all, I payed a dollar to them, and for all I know, nothing happened. The prices for the texts are insane as well... I'd rather go to a different service for the future.

This app is so much fun! I had a few questions for customer support and the response time was quick and very helpful! I get a good laugh sending these messages to my brother in law! Love this app!

Fun concept; HORRIBLE app

Glitches galore. Transferring of credits to other contacts does not work. You have to purchase credits for each individual contact if you want texts to go out.... and even then, it only worked on the first day. Texts completely stopped the next day, even though there were more than enough credits. What a waste of money.

Needs Work

I set up several contacts to receive cat facts, but only one worked. When I tried to transfer credits between contacts they multiplied and then disappeared. It was hilarious for the one person it worked on, but I lost money on the others...not so funny. No response from support yet.

Doesn’t work

I paid to have texts sent to my husband and it claimed one sent, but it never did. Also, credits bought for one person can’t be used on another. You have to buy credits for each individual person. Also, the person receiving the messages can immediately unsubscribe, it’s not a good app. Don’t waste your money

Takes credits and doesn’t send a fact

I just want to bombard my friends with cat facts. Not let them say yes or no to receiving or opt out. And I shouldn’t be charged for a cat fact when the only message sent is “do you want to receive a cat fact”. Sad. Unfair.

Total Ripoff

Total waste of money, worst customer support ever. Don't download, i purchased 2 credits, money was never applied, emailed support, took days to respond, had me send them receipt (which I did) and the money was still never applied to my account.
