When connected to a large monitor or TV it would be good if you could make the bar across the top which contains the "Done" button disappear when in full screen mode.

Much worse than the old version

I liked the fact that you could view real-time radar for the whole eastern US on the old version. It was the only app I found where you could do this and it was extremely useful when on the road. The new app deleted this feature. Now all you get is a replay of the local forecast; nothing up to date at all and of no use whatsoever when away from Harrisburg. A very disappointing downgrade.

New app, loss of functionality

The app was revamped and now when you click on a notification, it doesn't take you to the article. Now there are WAY too many notifications. I received 4 within a 20 minute period and none of them were breaking news, just telling me to tune in. I'm deleting this again.

No sound

I have several news channels on my pad and have sound for all except CBS21 news app...I have gone into settings..I have tapped on everything I can tap..I even deleted and reinstalled app several times...very disappointed as I would probable delete the other news apps if this one would work.

Landscape vs. Portrait

Is there any way to switch the app from portrait mode to landscape? I use the app on my iPad fitted with a keyboard, so it is in constant landscape mode. Every time I use the app, I have to physically turn the iPad and end up with a dangling keyboard. Not very handy.

Crashes initially

Just loaded new app. It starts up and after about 5 seconds, it crashes. The app still showed as running. Forced it to close, ran again and it now appears to be working. 12 hours later, crashing again! After 8/9/13 update, still encountering crashes.

Alerts Do NOT OPEN

On the new release, when I select an Alert, the APP opens up, and selects the article title, but none of the articles will open so they can be read. Very annoying, because I cannot locate the article to actually read it. Please fix. I have a iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 10.2.

Broken and Amateur

This new app is a far fall from the previous app. The weather won't load, the stories aren't separated anymore, and it looks like a geocities site from '94. Whoever made this did a very poor job. This app is almost completely nonfunctional.

This was my favorite news app

Once upon a time, I had a news app that was dependable and easy to use. Now I have to dig through advertising to scroll the news headlines. Time to uninstall and download a different news app :(

Terrible

One star is 4 too many for this app. The only thing that remains easy to navigate is the constant ad to become an advertiser. Where is the national an international news? Politics? Too cumbersome to navigate. Dumping app and going with ch 27 news app. Developers should look at USA Todays app for navigational guidance.

Too slow to load

It takes this app too long to load. I can open news 8, 27 and fox 43 much much faster. It's not worth the wait.

Really A Letdown

This is a really crappy replacement to the old CBS21 app. Crowded front page, no separation of local/state/national/world news, short articles. Looks as if it was thrown together haphazardly & cheaply. Yuck!
