Old App Better

The new app is much more difficult to navigate. I read TCL on a 10.5” iPad and trying to spread articles to make the print readable is really frustrating. App has improved but still work to do.

Great app!

The ability to get and read breaking news from my device is wonderful! I can keep up with current events in Jackson and the state just as easily as I do with national news.

Stop the advertisements

First of all I already pay for the paper I shouldn’t have to see ads on the app. Second the ads never go away. As soon as the app is opened an ad pops up that will not go away. There is no close button on the ad it just says scroll to continue with article but won’t let you “scroll” the ad away. So now I’m paying for an app I can’t even use.... not for long CL

Too difficult and time consuming! When you hit the back arrow it starts from the beginning. Example, jobs, at the top is Jackson in the search box is Madison, you have to change it (retype) your city every time I wanted to search Brandon. After looking at an entry it defaulted to Madison and I had to start all over 😔

Great app to read the CL!

I enjoy the app on my cell phone or iPad to get breaking news on the go, or when I don't have access to a hard copy.

Paid Subscription Remove Ads

I paid for subscription access but you still force me to see ridiculous click-bait ads. Fix your model, if I pay to access your content allow me to turn off the trashy advertising. Adapt your business model or you will continue to become irrelevant.

Unnecessary work

I have been a paying member of this aper for many years but every once in awhile I have to sign in to read. Takes forever to get this done. I just want to touch app and start reading. William Lance Greer

Paid version but ads taking over

I have a paid version but am getting a shoe station ad that will not scroll off screen and allow me back to content. Frustrating. Please fix!!!

Can’t view content I’m paying for

I need to unsubscribe. I am a paying customer and cannot view the content. Tells me I have to login to view the content. Then asks me to subscribe after I login. Crazy....

Can see subscribed news on iPhone but not iPad

Even though I have a paid subscription the app will only let me log in on iPhone, not iPad or other device!

Very little news

An occasional newsworthy story, too much sports and only for two of the three big state universities. Best baseball program in the state gets no coverage.

Ads Will Not Go Away

I agree with the previous comment. Only way to get rid of “stuck” ads is to power down phone.

I do not get the E edition login on this app. I have toGoogle sign in to Clarion Ledger every morning. This app is useless.
