The $2.99 upgrade is what we needed

Excellent app, but the most useful functions (access to all letters, create lists) are not free. We bought the upgrade so we could create lists of our child’s spelling words. This is an effective tool for practicing cursive and spelling concurrently.

You get the first five letters

I really had hopes that this would be a fantastic app for my kiddos. You get the first 5 letters unlocked after that you MUST pay! They give you a multiplication problem to answer. So I’m thinking you must have to answer a math question to unlock the letter. So we answer, then it pops up showing you have to pay. Sad. It’s not good enough for me to want to buy. Think before you download and allow access to your information only to delete soon thereafter. Like I said extremely limited on what they offer you. I did find another app which is way better allowing you to see YOUR actual placement of your writing. Not something you slide your finger on and it ends up perfect looking. I downloaded a totally free no restrictions app called cursive writing. Much happier. Side note for the developer..... isn’t the point of being able to review apps so that others can leave their own feelings? Rate how they feel? To help others? You don’t seem very nice with your responses. Twice now. Please don’t feel so attacked and feel you need to attack. This is just how I feel. Everybody has a right to their opinion. Please accept mine for how I feel.

Great find!

This app is perfect for my 8 year old grandson learning cursive. He hated printing and we had a hard time getting him to write at all. This app is so fun he loves learning the letters and seeing all the great animation thank you for putting this together. I did not mind paying for the extras either as it is very much worth the price and not expensive compared if we had to purchase with a book oh and the ability to print out worksheets with our own words is great! Just wish we could repeat the words a few times for practice on the punted copy.

Very well done with entertaining animations

This is perfect for teaching children cursive (I paid for the full version). I have my kids use it with the Apple Pencil so the skill will transfer over to real life writing with pen and paper, and it does. The instructions are straightforward and simple enough I didn’t have to explain to my five-year-old—she didn’t need my help at all. And the animations are dope. They remind me of those bubble things you buy for your desk for people to play with or old Windows screensavers. They are interactive and oddly satisfying.

Great app!

Just was I was looking for to help my 4.5 year old. I homeschool 6 children and needed a good app to serve as a second “teacher” while I work with his older brothers and sisters. This app is perfect! Very flexible, customizable for whatever level he is studying and virtually hands free for me. I love that the cursive is more traditional and has the beginning under curve strokes for the lowercase letters. Well worth the $5! Thank you!

Cursive writing game

My kid can not get the levels because she has a iPod it will not let her get it and she got this 2 hours a go and she finish them and it will not let her do anything else and I go to Parent controls and I can’t do anything to unlock the different levels and all it says is this purchase cannot go through on this device but I like how it is teaching some than But of someone seems this pls write me something to do thank you

Doesn’t work, can’t get refund for required in app purchases

You can only practice 5 letters for free, then you have to purchase more letters. There are three different packages to choose from, and I chose one for $3 by mistake that didn’t unlock the letters. So I chose to unlock everything for $5 thinking I would just be charged $2 more, but I was charged for both. All of the letters were unlocked, but the next time I opened the app, they were locked again. I tried restarting the app and the iPad but nothing worked. There was no way to cancel the orders.

Awesome!!!

I love this app like some times at school I write in cursive and then I’ll forget how to do a letter so I have to start over but then when I get home I look at this app and I love practicing on this app and it’s just so fun! When I go back to school all my work always pays off! I highly recommend this app!

Worth it

Better than buying a bunch of books! I got the full package and all three of my kids use it 5-7 years. You can put their spelling words in. They learn to write and spell at the same time!

Wonderful app!

My family loves this app! It’s colorful and fun and has great options. It is definitely worth the $5 to unlock it, and it’s not a subscription. So it’s $5 one time only! My 9yo is enjoying learning cursive and my 6yo is using and enjoying it as well! That makes this mama happy! Thank you developers!

Great for learning cursive!

This app is highly motivating! My kids enjoy practicing with this app, the graphics are nice, And the teaching is clear. If you had US font, that would be great, but I found one that looks like it.

A really great app if u need to practice cursive

I love this app a lot I knew nothing about cursive but now I can do cursive sentences I got the pass to unlock the locked letters and words this app is very helpful!

Unbelievable Quality

I can’t believe how much care the designers of this app have put into designing it. It goes above and beyond to make handwriting practice fun. It’s an incredibly creative app. Like nothing I’ve ever seen.

I just don’t know

I like the app but i don't like that you have to drag what you traced over to a place on the screen. My daughter likes to play on the app more then she wants to learn. In my opinion, the app is too fun. I just don't understand the purpose of the whole dragging business.

Good Game, But I Hate Paying For More Stuff.

Well, this game is really good, but the thing is that you have to pay for learning more letters. The game would be better if you could just learn for free. I’m not giving you my grandma’s money, and I’m sure she’d agree. Just fix that one thing and I’ll play it more. But nonetheless, this game is very good.

Poorly executed

I love the idea, but it’s poorly executed. No punctuation, can only enter so many words and then have to add another entry within a “word”… hoping I can get my money back. Basic learning is great, but if you truly want to print your own sheets that have punctuation and flow from word to word this is NOT the App for you.

Cost

I cannot find any information that tells you that you’re only going to be able to use a handful of letters. The other letters are locked and have to be paid for. Not cool. Very misleading.

We have to pay for all of the letters and numbers and everything. I don’t think it’s fair. I think they should make everything free because the game is free. Hope you have fun.

I would rate it 0 stars if I could my child got this for school it was recommended it treats my 9 year old like she is 2 that is why I rate it 0 [if I could] never get this you will regret it I stay awake all night regretting this decision I got lung cancer from getting this app but seriously do not get this app

Over all I don’t like it

I loved all the Different colors and shapes you could wright with but you can only practice letters a,b,c,d, and e so what help is that I would not recommend this don’t waste you time unless you only want to learn 4 letters and oh ya you have to buy the other letters. I give this a big thumbs down.

Not shareable

Purchased the full version from my phone so my daughter can use it and cannot share with family purchasing on Apple.

In app purchase mess- very disappointed

I thought I was buying the full version. Now I have spent money and have a non working app. I requested a refund and Apple says I don’t have a receipt even though they emailed me one. What a rip off!

Amazing but

I love these apps but this one is the worst because my daughter wants to be able to do everything! That’s how much she loves this but a ton of the cursive stuff needs to b bought

Worthless

I paid the full price to unlock everything that the free preview didn’t include (which was like 4 letters and a bunch of squiggles) but they are still locked. Pointless app
