Great 🙂but some bad things😑
It’s amazing but there’s some features in it that really need to be fixed. I would have gave it 4 1/2 stars if it will let me. Ok some things about it is that it is glitchy with tracking the ball and sometimes it won’t even do it at all, sometimes service is really bad and it will be down for a while. It used to be insanely good but it’s got a little worse over the years and then they’re making you pay 20 bucks which is a little high. It should be maybe like something like 12. Some good things about it are that is the workers that do it in some skills that you can do a really good but what I said is true. Sometimes when you log into it then it will just log you out which is another thing, so I think they could do better if they put a little more effort into the app.🫤

4 star.
The app is great and I have improved so much. I have been using this app for 1 year and have to say it’s insanely useful. I usually do sessions for 1 - 2 hours and it has helped my dribbling a lot. I went from a pretty bad dribbler to the most skillful player on my team. I am also glad it saves points and keeps track on your sessions and how much reps you did per session. My only issue with this app is that the green circles that’s supposed to count a rep when the ball goes through them doesn’t always work. I’ve had this issue for a while and I set my tripod so the circles are at surface level. The reason this is because I do it to fast. So how am I supposed to improve? The only skill I’ve seen the circles work for when I do it fast is the “front and back rolls” which is a pretty simple skill. Yes I know that it’s not always 100% gonna be correct, but I’m just saying that it should at least try to keep up with my speed. Besides this I think this app is deserving of 4 stars. The trainers are good (my personal favorite is pano) the skills help you a lot, and it doesn’t only have to be skills. It has goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and attacker training. I hope that this app will fix this issue and be able to cooperate with the speed of the ball better.

Skip this app, don’t waste your money
I don’t know how this app has good reviews overall. The concept is great and I stuck with it over a year because I like that it tracked your reps, there were good workouts, I liked the most of the instructors. However the app itself is a very poor quality. Every other day that I worked out, I had some sort of issues with it. It would crash before workouts or during workouts. Sometimes wouldn’t connect to my Apple Watch even though I set up that feature. Often I had difficulty tracking reps, even if everything was done that is recommended, changing lighting, angles, etc. And often had issues with it streaming to my tv. Trying to do these workouts on just a phone is ridiculous As you can’t see what the instructors are doing if you are trying to make sure you have correct form. Especially on split screens when it’s showing your work out as well. If you had an iPad that probably would be OK. It’s ridiculous to spend $20 a month on a subscription after investing money on specific equipment that you have to buy through this company and have a sub par experience on a regular basis.

What Has Happened?
This app in the past several months had gotten so glitchy. One of the things that really made me attracted to this app was the fact that it is able to track your movements and hold you accountable, as well as track your progress. But a few months ago I stopped using it because it just kept crashing, or it would get would stop tracking because the tracker would get stuck on one exercise and just stop tracking. I tried again this week, and now the glitches seem to be worse. They now have the option for you to pick your music, but when I use a Chromecast to see the screen better the music does not go to the television, so I can’t hear it. Sometimes I am able to still complete the workouts, just without tracking or music. But that’s the point of using the app and not just videos: to watch your improvement. Just overall very frustrated currently. I don’t know if I’ll be continuing my subscription for much longer at this point.

Great variety of programs and classes
I’m really happy with this app and the smart medicine ball. I had gotten bored with my old workout routine, and was hoping this might be different. It is! Because the app keeps track of classes and reps, I’m more likely to work out because I don’t want to break my streak. It’s also interesting to see where you rank on the leaderboard. I didn’t think I would care about that, but it ups the challenge factor and makes me feel accomplished when I manage to move up. There are short 5-7 minute classes or longer classes so I can always find something that works with the time I have. You could easily never do the same workout twice. I have had no issues with the ball tracking, and there are lots of instructional drills to help you learn the moves properly and safely. Highly recommended!

A difference maker for me
I’m an active senior looking to add muscle and for me this is just right. Using it on a daily basis either in the morning or when I get home and tend to do a 10-15 minute workout on an upper body program. No glitches on my iPad and the workouts tend to be done when I am done if you get me. Sometimes there are issues with tracking specific movements but perfectly willing to acknowledge my place in that especially since that seems to be a rarity. Also like working ‘against’ myself, trying to better my scores. Lastly, the instructors seem to be a good bunch so 10-15 minutes of this, 20-30 minutes on a stationary bike and I sleep just fine, look the same.

Falling Stars…
I bought the dribbleup basketball a little over 2 yrs ago. I have 3 sons and play myself, so I figured it would be a good investment. Initially I loved it, but my oldest son wasn’t thrilled about. No biggie since I bought it for the 2 coming up behind him who were 8 and 3 at the time. The app did have its issues (laggy at times, unresponsive in others, ineffective in natural sunlight), but the overall value and experience were worth it. It had been a while since any of us had used the ball, and I decided to change that. I had all 3 of my sons back on the app using the ball, but because we had some new devices fresh app installs were needed. AND BOY WAS I SURPRISED! The new UI is totally different(confusing). The previous version that I still have is much more streamlined and easier to navigate. 1 button opens a tab with everything I need, but there is no such button on the new version. I got frustrated trying to find the programs and workouts that I’m accustomed to, so much so that I almost told my son to forget the app and I’d instruct him. Apparently the new app is totally separate from what we have on all of our old devices, and it can be downloaded with no interference to the previous version. But why would I do that??? This thing is clunky, bloated, and confusing. No thank you.

Total game changer!
First off, I’ve got to say I don’t write reviews but just could not go without letting people know how great this product is. We purchased this for our nine year old son to use. This is his first year to play basketball and we really don’t know much about the sport. Within just a few days he had watched the tutorials and absolutely could not put the basketball down! I asked my son what he thought of the experience and his exact words were “It’s fun and so easy to use!” This is one of the neatest and most awesome teaching tools I have seen and it’s really cool how it uses technology! Thank you DribbleUp for giving our family something to be excited about as we watch our son grow in the sport!

I recommend DribbleUp
DribbleUp is an awesome app. I am not the kind of person who writes reviews a lot, nor am I the kind of person that just jabber jaws about random stuff. DribbleUp is one of those apps that have different levels so that you can be challenged, but not to the point where you get too frustrated and quit. The videos are short, but they have upped my handling a lot. There is also many different sports. The people in the videos are nice and explain things well. I am a kid and could be playing with my friends instead, but I chose to write this review instead because of how much I love this app.

Best app ever✨
I have never found an app this good it is so cool there is so many different things to choose from and I definitely don’t know what’s coming next there’s even a leader board, and now my kid is only doing DribbleUp definitely recommend there are three different levels, beginner, intermediate and expert so don’t think that your child is too young to do it because the beginner has a lot of easy skills to work on intermediate is good for 10 to 12-year-olds and I think expert good for 13+ overall best app ever definitely recommend five stars⭐️

Inaccurate rep counts
I was really excited for this program however since the rep counts is never accurate and 9/10 times just stays at 0 it’s almost worthless. I do like the workouts however since you have to have their equipment it makes for an over priced system. And when it does start counting and you adjust slightly it stops counting. Or the opposite it won’t be counting and you’ll rest or something and all the sudden it set a wild range that makes no sense for the workout. Also it’s just as inaccurate on my husband’s galaxy. I also don’t like that the instructors don’t set aside a second to describe form and I find will even be out of form them selves. This is dangerous for both them and the customers, especially ones who aren’t familiar with these workouts.

Very disappointing
This app sound good in theory, but they lack in keeping kids motivated. There are only three level goal to obtain, so after you reach the gold level, should be 3 maybe 4 weeks, you no longer have a reason to go onto the app. There is no more “rewards”. I have free games that keep you more motivated with stupid levels to achieve(platinum, diamond, ext.). After two weeks of having progress denied he lost interest. They are also a little scammy in there costs as well. We bought this with a free month of the subscription, cool. However, be bought it a month before gifting it to him, and guess what? Poof, there went out free month while it sat in the box waiting to be given. Not when it was activated, but pretty much from the date of purchase. I would save my money if I was you.

Getting better
This app helps me get better and do the drills right. The coaches explain how to do the drills. When we are doing good they call out our names and give us credit. They also encourage everybody and make me feel good. After every session it shows you were you rank and how good you did.I love how you can level up and get new characters and new ball points for your work. And when you do the daily challenge it gives you music to listen to. That is why I gave the dribble up app a five star rating. THANK YOU FOR YOUR APP AND I LOVE THIS APP YOU ARE THE BEST !

Feel the burn!
I never enjoyed exercising. I’m lazy 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I also like food way too much, and prefer not to look like a stuffed sausage myself. I took up running, but that only goes so far to slim and tone. So I took a leap of faith on the dribble up medicine ball and I’m so happy I did! There is a variety of levels to Work out in, workouts to target different areas and a mix of live classes, recorded classes and drills. The challenges keep me motivated, and the watching my reps go up knowing I’m beating my PR keeps me going. I highly recommend it to shine looking to include some exercising into your every day! Totally worth it!

Just what I needed!
I’ve only had this for a week and I love it. I’ve done 1 live session and started the redefining fit program. This has really given me that challenge and routine that I so desperately needed. I was just doing random workouts and feeling totally lost, and I hate going to the gym and working out with other people so this is a great alternative. Plus the membership is cheaper than any gym membership that I know of. I will say you have to make sure your area is very will lit or your reps won’t be tracked properly.

It’s good but there’s problems
The first few days were fine, but then when I was doing a session I was hitting the goal but it wasn’t counting as a rep. Also the day I got it I did this starter session ,then what they recommended me was an expert level session. For me I have to do my phone at a slant for the ball to count as a goal. Anyway it’s good for work outs, and got me working out more, so it only and a bit problems. That’s why I rate it four stars. I don’t get why people rate it five stars or one it should at least be a three or four. That’s all I have to say about this app.

I’m on day 86 of working out daily! This is motivating!
The app works great, they keep adding updates and there’s little things to work around like sometimes if your shirts is a matching color the App will hate you but other than that, which is kind of expected, this is absolutely a wonderful work out app that actually is engaging me to work out daily. 100% recommend getting the med ball and use this app. Especially join the group! It’s super positive and friendly

Winner!
I bought this for my 12yr old son for Christmas. Here are his thoughts so far. “I think that my ball control is definitely getting better, especially my left hand. I’ve learned to get low and stay low. I’m also learning new dribbling combinations that I think would have taken me longer on my own. The coach is nice and teaches effectively. The ball is easy to control and comfortable. The App is super user friendly and does a great job breaking down the classes.” -Jaxon

Issues
The app is great and all but there are some issues. One I can’t change the color outline of my ball when it shows up on the screen. Excuse me but I want my purple outline on my soccer ball. Two it takes like one whole minute to end the fricking video. I don’t care about people who got a thousand reps I care about getting my dang points and moving on. Three I want to actually be able to have a chance to practice the moves even a little. I can’t just start learning a drill without knowing I have 20 seconds to do it. Not cool bro. Fix this and it will be five stars

DU is an awesome fun tool
We have loved DU. We first purchased a few years ago and used it a little with soccer. As our kids have developed and gotten a little older they are using it more, challenging themselves and working in skills. We just added the basketball this year for a Christmas for our son. He has loved it so far and getting him something else besides a video game that is interactive and helpful in developing a skill I’m all for. Well done DU, keep up the good work.

The app is very slow and after buying subscription everything is locked.
The app is very slow and buggy, video stops abruptly between the session. I have 100 mbps speed with that also its not working. With the expenditure of $100 on ball, app provides very less free video. They are charging $17 for app subscription and atleast should offer basic filter like finding the video that you are looking for. My both kids play soccer and because of slow functioning of app and stoping abruptly pulls there motivation down. The concept is good, it will be great if company offer better app experience and charge less upfront or on subscription services. Not worth the money paid.

$100 for the ball $16 a month
The drills are t terrible, but using an iPhone 13 Pro Max, it’s incredibly difficult to put the ball in a spot where you can do the drill and have it captured on camera. There is little to no leeway. I frequently find myself too far away or too close to the phone and the app will not track the ball, even though I’m doing the drill. In order to get the ball into the exact spot where the green circle will register, I find myself focusing entirely on the device and not on the drill. When it comes to soccer drills, Techne Football is significantly better than Dribble Up, and you can use any ball. This app is mostly a gimmick and not a real way to skill up in soccer.

Download it!!!
I’m a beginner and although I’ve had a passion for it for quite some time, I’ve never actually played basketball. Since lesson one dribble up has been helping me correct my wrong handles and make them right. Dibble up’s been helping me build my muscle memory and strength! There are live streams to follow and pre recording but everything is for any level! The coaches are awesome! So if want to get into basketball I wouldn’t debate it and go straight to dribble up!

Sessions not formatted for iPad
Support is still investigating, but when using this app on my iPad the sessions zoom in incorrectly such that you cannot make out the video or camera on the screen. The result is that this app is unusable on my iPad currently. The app version history shows a lot of releases back to back for bug fixes, so it seems like they are working to get many issues working well across the app.

Boxing
Need a better way to count punches. When boxing/kickboxing we move a lot and get out of frame and more than half of punches are not being counted. Which wouldn’t matter but then they compare you to other members which is cool but it needs to be accurate. I try to get back on frame and miss until I forget t and get the work out in. However, that’s not how the app claims it works. This needs to get fixed. I’ve see other reviewers with the same feedback and not only with boxing but other DU products. Also, fbook shouldn’t be the only community if members they have. Unless they’re only targeting older millennials, stay at home parents, and older.

Great easy workout!
So far I am loving the medicine ball! I use it on my iPad, I haven’t had any connectivity issues with it yet (I make sure I have open space a good lighting). The 6lb was great to start and I love that there are a lot of practice drills. The initial 30 day program is a great way to ease into it!. Haven’t tried a live class yet, but I just want to get warmed up to it first and see all the things the app has to offer on demand. Even my 10 year old does it with me!

Dribble up is amazing
Dribble up is amazing and here’s why. First of it helps extremely with your Dribbling and also improves your overall performance in basket ball. Second of you can pick whether you are a beginner intermediate or expert which is perfect because if you don’t play basketball you would have to learn first and that’s what dribble up does. So in conclusion dribble up is an amazing app and I definitely recommend it

Very mid
My parents bought me this soccer ball. Then I went to download the app and after it charged me my parents already spent money on the soccer ball why would it charge me. Anyways at first I liked it when I was younger because I was successful and didn’t understand that I wasn’t getting better. This app did not make me better I play MLS Next for IFA New England Academy. I did not improve my dribbling skill cause it was to easy. I will say tho if your a comfortable person with money and isn’t a great soccer dribbler this app is great for you

Fun alternative to the gym
I stopped going to the gym last year, and while I enjoy my neighborhood walks, I’ve been looking for some kind of strength training to replace the workouts I used to have. I thought I would try this out, and though I’m still starting out, I enjoy the variety of exercises and found myself sore in a good way the day after — underused muscles groaning to life again! I like how the app works with the ball to make it like a game to finish the drills.

This is the best investment that I have made. I have had several surgeries on my knee and waiting for surgery on my Achilles but having the option to do chair exercises has been great. The app is easy to use and the instructors are amazing .This has helped me get back into being healthy, helped my self esteem while I heal. I can’t wait until I can do all work outs. Next investment is the boxing gloves and bag.

Lack of shot tracker and good features
Bought this because I wanted to be able to track shot speed for soccer ball. Major disappointment when I found out they don’t do that. The workout/class features is great…if you aren’t a teenage soccer player who loves to shoot the ball and would love to see how fast my shot is. If DribbleUp sees this, add the shot tracker feature back. Give more options than just workouts and skill training. Customer service was ok. They responded quickly but never actually answered my question. Should’ve read reviews and did some research. Hope you do this

Great jus a few problems
It’s great for tracking reps but if you got to fast it won’t track your basketball dribbles 😭. Same w the leaderboard concept were you can see the top 25 in the world at reps. I should be top 10 rn but it won’t track or update which is annoying. I wouldn’t recommend the subscription for anytime during the season, offseason only. Other wise good app jus which my stats would register quicker or at all😭

Good workout
This is a good way to get your exercise in without killing yourself. If you’re a beginner, you can do it. The segments are not so terribly long so you can fit it into your morning and add more if you like. The instructions are easy to follow and they give a good demonstration before the exercise begins. There are programs to follow if you don’t subscribe to the live classes. I’m enjoying the exercises and shaping up.

Workouts For Kids
I subscribed to this app/service so my teen could practice soccer. Since the app says it’s for the entire family, I decided to try both the boxing and yoga for myself (I’m in my 40s). To be frank, the yoga lessons are not good for anyone that is serious about yoga. The instructors are super excited and loud. I’ve been doing yoga for over 20 years in all sorts of formats and I’ve never had an instructor that was “pumped.” Yoga is supposed to be calm and zen. I guess this type of lesson could be good for kids. The boxing lessons are ok, but the app is glitchy. It doesn’t recognize punches. The instruction has the same tone- super pumped. That doesn’t bother me as much for boxing, but it’s still sort of silly. If they want to market themselves as a full family app, they need to offer some classes with a more adult tone.

Targets never count!
It helped me get better a LOT by using it repeatedly, but these new upgrades are making it worse. For instance, I always practice in my garage so that i don’t damage my floors, and it gets really bright in there. It used to work just fine but now it always glitches, and sometimes even when it’s not bright out, it still doesn’t track the ball. When i put the ball literally on the target it doesn’t do anything. But, it really helped my handles and got me way more confident, so you do you :)

It’s a good app but it doesn’t accurately track your punches, nor does it say how far away to stand from the camera, if it would tell you where to stand to get an accurate read, it would be 3 stars, because now we have the fact that there are only about 3 lessons per day and the basic training which leaves you with not much to do, if it was 5-7 new lessons daily or 3 lessons that were longer it would be at 4 stars, and the fifth star is because the developers are not going to pay attention to this comment until they have to

If you don’t have one of their products you cannot use DribbleUp. I recommend using DribbleUp.

I love DribbleUp!
I’ve loved my experience thus far. My B-ball skills have definitely improved, and this simple, easy-use app has been a huge part in it. A FEW TIPS FOR NEW USERS: - Keep your device plugged in before using. - Make sure you have the official DribbleUp ball; IT DOES NOT WORK WITHOUT IT. - The free version works fine. - For iPad/iPod users, if only works connected to the Internet. Great app!

Really disappointed. Not as simple as it sounds. Multiple classes to choose from but not in a good way, for a kid who just wants to press and play. The camera tracks the ball so slowly it makes it much more confusing then just doing the same drill without the camera. I don’t see what the app adds at all. Could just do the same drills in your living room without the stand, sign in process, monthly fees. The classes seemed more robust than the app is able to keep up with. Website a little glitchy when trying to click diff tabs.
