Called up Epass Custer service and Anthony picked up with a clear and concise chill welcome. He quickly was able to find my account and go over my fees. Anthony explained all 7 toll violations and gave the total. Anthony heard the frustration in my voice and offered a solution by cutting the price by 40% and got me fixed up with a little sticker for the car so there’s no more riding dirty. Anthony also stayed on the line to walk me through the EPASS MOBILE APP and set up which took only just 2 minutes. THANK YOU ANTHONY!!!! Epass company do not lose this employee as he is outstanding and an excellent customer service rep. Anthony deserves compensation (a PAY RAISE) for his customer service talent and the fact that he left such a wonderful lasting impression of the business. 5 STARS RATING!!!!!
We are new to Florida so we were just paying by plate but when we got the bill and seen how much we could save by having a easy pass and having previous tolls discounted by signing up, we were all in. It was super easy and if it doesn’t work for you on the app, it might have something to do with the time of day because I tried in the evening one night and got a message the server was down then tried the next day at around 4pm and it worked. I’m all about saving some money!!
This app is terrible and I emphasize nobody use it! My only incentive was to use it for the discount, however after installing the app and attempting to make a payment with my debit card the app declined it multiple times, as well as my credit card, and third card. After being fed up I called Epass to pay the bill. After getting off the phone and checking my accounts I see I have one account charged 4 times for $150 my credit card 3 times for $150 and separate debit card for $150. I have spent the last three days disputing it with Epass for them to say they don’t see any of the charges after me going in person, showing them their app!!! And the statements from them on my account they still say there is nothing they can do for me as now I have to get a new wallet of debit cards and while my banks dispute it with them. 10 for 10 would never use again ‼️‼️‼️ And I am not the only person who had this issue.
I’ve been struggling for the last couple months barely making my rent. The. To find out I couldn’t renew my tags unless I paid my tolls almost $600 was a guy punch. I didn’t know what I was gonna do. I end up calling the customer service line 3 times, every time a different person however everyone of them was respectful and helpful made this transaction very pleasant
I have Sunpass but received bill for E-Pass. When I contacted SunPass as E-Pass statement advised to contact if I have a SunPass account they could find no issues as to why payment was not pulled from my SunPass account for the E-Pass charge. Yet still I was advised I don’t need an E-Pass account - and not to create one as I may be charged double! Well I had to in order to pay the toll! Outrageous! I still have to pay the bill - full toll fee even though I have the SunPass. So obviously I created the E-pass account. How is this so unorganized especially for someone being responsible and having the SunPass that automatically reloads with funds to pay all required tolls! This is awful and needs to be fixed!
I’m trying to avoid excessive rental car toll fees but this app doesn’t provide that option. It has note and a process, even says can enter “past dates” but the programmer forgot to allow “past dates” so the app is useless unless you activate it prior to traveling the tolls. Also, it has so many different tollway bridge turnpikes, that if you travel as a visitor it is too expensive to just drive Willy-Nilly or even select all options because the account requires you to prepay with the basic being $25.
I have a SunPass but this is forcing me to set up another E-ZPass and pay double the toll when all my info on SunPass is up to date but it never shows. I cannot understand what the difference is between all the charges and what road is an ex pass road and what road is a SunPass road. There is jo clarification and everyone had my credit card numbers. It’s just feelings like confusion and fraud. How does the average person without apps and the ability to wait on the line over and over navigate. You give and you just pay twice bc you feel threatened and it like your only option to not have problems with the law.
I’ve been putting paying my tolls off because I thought it would of been such a hassle since usually everything in Florida is that way. But this was super helpful. I initially called them and they told me I could save on my tolls by signing up on the app and the employee helped me the whole way thru, even tho it was all very simple and easy to do myself. Very impressed and delighted
Getting to the building was a hard because the direction from GPS sent me to the building next door, but once I came in I had the best customer service I could of asked for . The front desk answer all my questions, I was taken care right away. overall the best experience in a day I thought was going to be hard.
I called in to pay my invoice by plate as I just moved to Florida. Brittney walked me through the steps to download the E-PASS APP and gave me a reference number to get a discount on the invoice by signing up for an E-PASS sticker. Extremely easy to do and very user friendly APP. Very satisfied 10 out of 10 recommend!
I have a sun pass account, but for some reason my toll pass wasn’t debited on one day going through a CFE e-pass toll. I get a full charge bill in the mail from them saying I could save 40% on this bill if I get an e-pass and download the app and pay. All I had to do was follow their steps, which I did. Lies, all lies. Not only did they require I deposit $10 into my new account to activate it, but the bill I tried to pay and get the 40% off had me use a CC and pay full price. So, now I have an account I don’t need since I plan to continue using my sun pass account and not this one.
This app would be great if it allowed you to fill in your card details correctly and let you save them. Then I tried to give feedback on the app by asking them to fix it and it wouldn't send because I need to give "correct feedback". This app is weird. The only good thing is I can quickly check my balance but I have to get on my computer to do everything else...so what's the point of the app?
App as written works fine - lacking basic functionality
From a user perspective, this app needs to be more user friendly. Users should have the ability to add multiple invoices to the cart before paying which will eliminate the need to add payment information multiple times. Also, please add Apple Pay/google pay/paypal or other wallet type of payment options to enhance the security and make paying invoices a little less cumbersome.
So I’ve purchased the transponder. I’ve paid the minimum $10 to open the account. And now, because neither the app nor website are functional, I’m having to pay the toll anyway. Great work, team! Specifically, when you attempt to sign in, you *might* see the E-PASS logo animation, then you’ll almost certainly get an “Unable to connect to E-PASS” error. I was able to sign up through the website (rest assured, they’ll take your money there) but now I’m unable to sign in here or add a transponder there. Fun times.
I don't care what the app is, it's really frustrating when ANY app forces you to complete an update to use it. If you put out an update, give us a screen pop allowing us one or two uses before being forced to update, especially with non-critical apps like this. I need to add funds before I get on the road. Instead, I'm leaving you this crappy review because that's what you deserve.
Had issues with sunpass double charging me and also getting billed by epass. Called epass and I was able to open an account and settle my toll invoices, they also discounted my amount due for opening an account with them so far good definitely recommend over sunpass.
All they want to do is take your money and make you switch from one toll agency to theirs.. had to pay them money because they refused to use my SUNPASS account even though I have a positive balance and was told I could make an account with them to get a discount but had to close my SUNPASS account and if I didn’t they’ll just double charge me. Now that’s a new version of highway robbery. No matter what it’s the state of Florida and I have a toll account. Fix your system because it completely broken. You guys are Trash!!!
I’m a young adult and ended up with a ginormous bill due to misunderstanding the toll system in my state. I was going to be unable to drive, broke, and with very angry parents. However, signing up for E-Pass as a first time user saved me a significant amount of money and sanity. :)
I do not know why everyone who uses tolls does not have E-Pass, even if just on occasion. It is so easy to obtain, the savings go way beyond the $10 minimum balance, customer service is top notch and, again, you only save money and lower stress! A big THANK YOU to all E-Pass Staff.
The app is extremely easy to use and on top of that it makes the many toll roads throughout Florida easier too since I no longer need to worry about having coins on me!
I’ve recently started working in the Orlando Kissimmee area. This has been great to pay my toll fees. It is easy to use and very convenient. Can’t believe it took me this long to sign up, and now with the app there isn’t really any excuse! Fast, easy & convenient!
This app is perfect. Easy to load money and the customer support is amazing. This is 1,000 times better than SunPass. Also, I’m not being paid for this, I just don’t want people to waste their time with other toll services.
No integration with password manager and no camera capture of the credit card means lots of time spent signing up and entering days the painful way. Could be much easier. Also, I had to enter some info twice (eg license plate), once when paying and the second for the account. Then the app crashed on me. Wish the UX was much better.
I drive past the tolls because I know they’ll send a Bill, I’m so thankful that as I called to pay the fine, I was able to get a sun pass account and a reduced fine. I honestly never knew how to get an Epass! Now I have one and I won’t be getting anymore fines! Yay!

The sign up process was seamless. When I spoke to the Representative, Inna, she was very precise with sign up directions and extremely patient which was most appreciated. Finding out the difference between E-PASS and SUNPASS was indeed an eye opener for me. Thank you Inna !
App is user friendly, saved 40% on an outstanding Pay By Plate balance. The offer is available for a limited time. Also, I set up an account with no problems.
Their customer service and the fact that they Assist with toll by plate balance by reducing it when you have or make an account is something sunpass has never done I gladly switched
I’m impressed that they incentivize becoming a user of the pre-paid toll system in central Florida. Now I don’t have to worry about tolls or airport parking. The app and turn around time are incredible!
App was clean and fast. Didn’t ask slow or asked weird questions lol. So far love it !!! And I really did save when I signed up. Like yo I’m trying to save as much as I can and the app helped !
The mobile app is not at all good the account balance keeps showing wrong information. If i have $2.33 as account balance how can i owe $154. If the invoices cannot be shown correctly on the account balance then whats the use of the app. Speaking to customer care person informs me that the mobile app does not show all info as the webpage then why to have a mobile app in first place and get fooled for more money
I’m a resident of central Florida. Previously, I use to go to website for checking balance and reload my account which used to take time. This app lets me do the same with less than a min. Thank you E-PASS.
A couple days after setting up my EPass account the credit card I used for it was used to make fraudulent purchases. I hadn’t made any purchases since paying for E-PASS or made any purchases outside of my typical locations in the past months other than signing up for EPass. Could just be a coincidence, or not...
My card changed unknowing to me. Did not put new numbers in my EXISTING SUNPASS. Would not give me option to register that already paying account to pay. Had to go through like I had no account. This needs fixed. Called before and said I must go through this app or pay double! Why can’t you bill my already registered account on file!! That’s why it is there.
After being charged for pay by plate since i use SunPass, I am basically forced to sign up for E Pass and switch since I get charged twice and no one cares. Now that I'm signed up it will not let me add another car or buy another E pass for the other car. This app is as useless as the customer service reps were on the phone after i was hung up on 4 times and finally got thru to a human an hour later.
The sun pass and e pass system is totally inept. I constantly have to reinput my card # and even when I add money to my account I still get toll by plate notices all the time. Then the login and transponder and UTC and reference number etc…. Creates a ridiculous logo scenario. Merge sun pass and E-PASS and get rid of the systems you are both using. I’m tired of fixing problems for your system that doesn’t work.
I had no idea the differences between SunPass and EPass and I’m so glad I learned and have now switched! Thank you for the toll discount and for giving us a less expensive option!
