Amazing!

I’m a busy mom if 5 girls and always on the go. This app makes it so easy for me to remember to take my pill. Clearly I should’ve started using it before the 5 kids. (Ha) it truly is great. It allows me to track everything including my mood and symptoms. I’ve learned so much about my own cycle. I’m excited to have an app that my girls will be able to use and keep track of their own cycles as well. The pill case is so convenient and super cute which makes carrying it around so easy. I always have it in hand so I can remember to take the pill once the reminder comes to my phone. Recommend it for all of my fellow busy moms out there that maybe just maybe might finally be done having children.

Great Product!!!

I really love this case. It was in my wish list because I could not justify $100 for something my phone alarm did. First off, the colors and the case are so aesthetic, and you can definitely find one you like. Second, the app is so accurate and I’ve had to trouble with Bluetooth connectivity. It is also great that it gives me suggestions on what to do when I have taken a pill late. It also has a bunch of information in their blog that I would have to pay for in other apps. The home tab also allows me to see all the necessary information at a glance. Lastly, I love that this app is all in one - it saves space and it’s convenient. You can order your birth control from the app, and you can track your menstruales cycle. The only thing I wish it did better, was telling me approximate dates when my period will start. Overall, the money was 100% worth it, you are paying for the technology of the case and the app features.

Helpful but buggy

This app is really helpful for reminding me to take my pill, which is excellent. The downside, however, is that the app itself is not formatted well for my iPhone 13 Pro Max. The buttons at the bottom are a bit cut off the screen, which is crazy because the screen is already so big. Also, if I try to open the app without having fully quit it previously, I can’t see any buttons or anything, it’s like it gets stuck up at the top of the screen and I can’t do anything without quitting and restarting the app. I also noticed this happening since the last iOS update on my iPhone 11 before I upgraded. This is a major functionality flaw as far as UI/UX and greatly decreases ease of use. The app probably just needs a major update to work well with iOS 15, but I wish I would come sooner rather than later.

Helpful but Error

This app is AMAZING! It even includes a blog to where you can update yourself with all information about your body! The only problem I am having (and please let me know if anyone else is too :) ) is that when I try to make the action of saving a blog post, it asks me to sign in/create an account using my email. But....when I choose the option of signing up with Google, it states that there is an authorization error. This isn’t a huge deal but definitely a little bug to fix : ). - Most definitely would recommend this app over “Flo” because it has many more resources : )

0 STARS — why?

The case is $99 and now there’s a $5 monthly subscription if you want to be able to use the case… that’s ridiculous! I bought this before they started requiring a membership to track the pills and I was already hesitant because the plastic case did not seem worth $99 (it isn’t), but I decided to try it since the concept seemed helpful, especially for a one-time fee. It’s ridiculous that they just decided to make it unable to be used if you don’t pay monthly or annually $50. At the very least, they should make the tracking capabilities included in the $99 base cost and charge for any other features. Now my case is useless because I will not be giving this company any more money. They really should rethink the required membership to use the app if they want to continue getting business. NOT WORTH IT

Best Reminder App Out There

I don't normally write reviews, but i can make an exception for Emme. I purchased the Emme smart case early into my starting birth control, and to say it's a lifesaver is an understatement. Not only to the reminders keep me on track, but being able to check the time I've taken my pill and what to do if i was late/missed a dose has been a huge reliever for my anxiety. I love the layout of the app, with enough features to stay on top of my cycle and medication but simple enough to not be overwhelming. To anyone who is considering using this app, please do. You're doing yourself a huge favor

Great investment for any pill taker!

I’ve had an AWESOME first week using Emme. Emme is basically the friend tapping you on the shoulder reminding you to take your pill. I genuinely feel more confident about my birth control method than ever before! 🙌🏾 Here’s why I love my case/the app: 1. My case is ADORABLE. It makes taking my daily pill that much more *eventful* and *dramatic*. 2. The automatic pill logging (with the case) and reminders via text and push notification are a GODSEND. I have been within my timeframe for taking my pill each and every day since using Emme. 3. Symptom logging and cycle tracking features are the bomb! Also, the overall visual presentation of the app is simply fabulous. All in all, I couldn’t be more pleased with Emme. I highly recommend this device and app to anyone taking a pill—particularly with the goal of pregnancy prevention in mind. At the price point for the case itself there is still great value for me in preventing a pregnancy due to a missed or delayed pill. It just feels worth it. Keep up the great work, Emme!

Hard to use.

I love the aesthetics of the app but as far as functionality, It’s not my favorite. One of my biggest issues is you’re not able to reach customer support on the app, it brings you to safari. I was trying to have an active conversation with the nurse that was assigned to me after she asked if I had any questions. When I sent my question I got a notification that she replied, but when I went to go check the message, it told me that that conversation was closed. I didn’t even get my answer. I was charged $30 more than expected and I wasn't able to confirm the transaction before it went through. If there’s an app for this program, I feel as though everything should be handled within the app to avoid miscommunication.

Game changer!

Emme smart case has been a game changer! After having my second baby only a year apart from my first (Irish twins) I was like “NO MORE!” So I got on the pill. Setting alarms on my phone wasn’t enough cuz then I’d get paranoid about whether I took my pill or not. I saw an ad on Facebook and when I read what Emme does I was sold! The case connects to the app seamlessly and lets you track your period, how you feel that day, discharge and sex drive. It helps you be more in tune with your body! Highly recommend!

love this app but the buttons make me crazy

I am obsessed with this app and it has helped me track my birth control for over four months now. It’s very reliable and it keeps all of my information very nicely. although it’s a very nice looking and productive app, it has one major con that drives me insane. The buttons at the bottom of the screen do not work some of the time because I have an iPhone 12 and the home button/slider get in the way. If that were to be able to be fixed, this would be the best app on the planet. Although it has that one con, I highly recommend it if you are looking for a birth control app.

App and Case are great

The app is the perfect reminder to take your pill and if that’s all you need is a reminder then just get the app. I have the case it was a little spendy but honestly it’s easier to open the case and have it automatically record in your app that you took your pill. My 2 cons for this system is if you take the 90 day oc there is not option in the app for this extended cycle to Finish a pack every 3 months then be on a placebo week. The second con is I have to cut my pill pack to fit in the case and the case doesn’t actually latch it’s always partially popped open. Other than that the case still functions great and it’s a pretty color 😍

Buggy but great concept

I really like the case & app, however I've had some issues with bugs—ex/ the first time I open the app, it usually is glitched out and unusable. If I close and reopen, this usually resolves itself, but it would be great if it was functional on first open. This issue makes me less likely to use the app which is a bummer because it has cool articles & other features. I also occasionally have issues with the accuracy of it tracking when I have taken the pill, but I'm glad there is a manual tracking option to fix the time you actually took the pill on the occasion it's incorrect.

Helpful for those with ADD!

I mostly am on the pill as a mood stabilizer, so I’m trying to do a better job keeping track of it and taking it on time. I’ve only been using it (and the smartcase) for couple of weeks, and I love it! I also love that I can track things like when I have my period, my mood, how my body is feeling—it’s helping me to stay mindful, and I know it will be useful down the road. If you can afford the hefty price tag, I think it’s well worth the investment!

Best FSA purchase

I love my case and the app and rave about it to all my friends. When I decided to go back on the pill, i had issues taking it on time or remembering if I had taken it. Emme solved everything. No more guessing or forgetting. I’ve only taken one pill late in nearly 3 months. I actually love pulling out my case even if I’m at a fancy restaurant and get excited when people ask me questions about it - WHAT?!? So worth the piece of mind. I loveeee Emme!

Love it!!!

I’ve always been TERRIBLE at taking my pill at the same time..... I’ve definitely missed a number of pills over the years as well 😬Since I’ve had the app, I’ve been really good at remembering it! Now that I’ve had the case for close to a year, I’m doing even better and haven’t missed a pill since!!!! I love the case so much and it was so easy to pair! Battery life is solid! I’ve only charged it twice in close to a year!

Love it

To begin with, I love having such a cute and sleek case that’s easily disguised. To top it off I’ve had the case for months and it hasn’t gone dead yet. My initial concern was that I would have to charge it often. I’ve only had once or twice where the tracking wasn’t accurate (i.e., saying I missed a poll when I didn’t) but it could’ve been something I did wrong.

Expensive and glitchy

Have been using Emme for a few months and while I see the appeal, I’m frustrated. There’s no option for a 3-month pack with only one placebo week at the end, and my case doesn’t always track when a pill is taken so I get gaps and errors in my month, and have to fix them manually. The biggest frustration is that I can’t get the notification dot to go away no matter what I do, so it always is “alerting” me even before it’s pill time. This is too pricey to have these minor issues.

Fantastic if you have Pill Anxiety

I love this case and app helping encourage me to be more aware of my body and also ensuring I took my pill on time and I can check that I did whenever I want. The only bad thing isn’t about the app it’s just that the smart case doesn’t click closed and sometimes the pill pack keeps it a little open and that just happens to drive me bonkers since I paid so much for it. But honestly this system is genius and makes me feel so secure about taking my pill and the case is so so cute.

Love the UI but Can’t Set Reminder Time Properly

I love the pill packet and how easy it is to log. However, something is wrong with setting the 3 reminders! I set my first reminder to be at 11:15 pm, and then I literally cannot set my second one to be at 11:30 pm. Every time I try to do it, it automatically switches the time to 12:04 am. It is just not possible. Same thing with the third reminder. It automatically switches to 2:15 am. There must be a bug.

disappointed

The notification sound is really low making it hard to hear. Barely a notification at all!! Defeats the purpose of spending $99 for a tracker case... so I just end up using my phone alarm. The app itself is very basic. There’s no information about anything. All the app does is show you the pills you’ve taken which is pointless since you can literally look at the pack itself when taking it.... sometimes it doesn’t even sync to when you took the pill so you’d have to go in the app and press “taken”... why was this $99?!?! The flo app is free and way better than this....

Best case and app!

I am TERRIBLE at remembering to take pills. I had used a different brand of smart case years ago but when I lost that one and was looking into replacements, I found the Emme case. I am so glad I went with this one. It tracks so much faster/easier, I haven’t had any glitches, and the app is way nicer and much more seamless. Also I LOVE the text feature.🫶🏻 Highly recommend.

Best. Purchase. Ever.

I am TERRIBLE at taking pills, so I always knew that “the pill” would be difficult for me to take consistently (which is kinda the whole point!) I bought this case and immediately started a 7 month perfect streak (and counting!) Total lifesaver. Also - I don’t leave app reviews, I just had to spread the word and encourage someone who’s on the fence. 10/10 worth every penny. :)

The best tracking app I’ve used!

Although I don’t have the money to buy the EmmE pill tracking case (which is genius), I’m still able to track when I take my pills and track everything else that goes along with the menstrual cycle! there hasn’t been any in app purchases that I’ve needed to pay for or anything. Really enjoying using this app.

Great and discreet!

I love Emme! I’m so in love with the design and the concept. I have to hide my pills from my mom so this is a cute way to discreetly hide it from her. I do wanna recommend automatically changing the time you take the pill when Daylight saving ends because I tend to forget to change my time and this would help me keep track of my pills the same time. I’m so excited to what Emme has to offer in the future ❤️

Emme is amazing

I just received my EMME case today in Moonstone and I’m absolutely obsessed! I waited so long for the case to drop and I bought it IMMEDIATELY! I’m incredibly pleased with thus far. The app is very detailed and makes it super easy to track your pill and more! I really enjoy our detailed the tracking of emotion, periods, hormonal symptoms is. Thank you so much and I have a feeling it will help many other women.

Regret this

I have the case and the app and absolutely regret buying it. The case hardly connects. I have all my settings correct. I’ve talked with support multiple times and eventually they’ll just stop responding to me, and since this is such a tiny part of my life, I haven’t been motivated to really do anything about it until now. Support shouldn’t stop responding until the problem is fixed. They would just spout the FAQ page at me and then when I said it still didn’t work they’d ghost. The app itself is also insanely buggy. You can’t click on a notification to open the app or it will glitch and not show anything. The bar at the bottom is cut off and unclickable. It doesn’t let me change the time I logged each pill, which I have to do since the case never works. I feel bad because it’s a nice thing and a cute idea. But I really just want my money back.

Great idea

I love the whole concept of the app. It works great other than the fact I take my pill and it logs that I took my pill and still get the notifications that my pill was “missed”. A few times I took my pill and it didn’t even log that it was taken so it gets confusing and I forget if I took it or not. All in all I like it, I just hope they fix these glitches.

Haven’t missed a pill!

I have tried so many apps and Emme definitely has been the best so far! I don’t have their case but I’m in love with the app. It doesn’t just help remind me for my pill but helps me to check in with myself and body. I track my period and any other body or mood. Other apps have done me dirty making tracking my body complicated Emme makes it easy!

Love it!!!

Now, I will admit, it was hard getting my pill pack into the case. I use Balcoltra birth control and I literally have to cut the side and tape it on top so it’ll clip. But nonetheless, I love it. The reminders are funny and cute. It has cute achievements and rewards. Didn’t want to remove a star because it doesn’t fit my pill pack. If they fixed that though, it would be 100% perfect.

App is kind of awful

Love this cute case but honestly the app is kind of trash...if you tap a notification, the app opens, but glitches so you can't do anything; you have to close and reopen it. Also I still get notifications to take my pill even after I have taken it (and the app shows that I have already taken it earlier that day). Also wish there was a way to indicate when you are on a placebo week (for those of us who are continuous most of the time).

Best BC App

This is the best birth control reminder app I’ve tried. Great design, plus reminders with personality. I love the ability to set times for second and third reminders. The mood/body/flow tracking features are also really helpful. Just got my smart case and it seems like such a well-designed, functional piece of technology that’s going to make life easier.

Suggestion

I love this app - has kept me on track for taking bcp like no other. I also like the ability to track the flow, body aches, and mood all in one place. It would be great to have a place to also track ovarian pain, right/left, meds taken for pain to have it all in one place.

Awesome

I love the app and the case. It was a bit expensive but it’s worth it. Looks so cute and I’m pretty good at communicating with my boyfriend if I missed a pill. But now I can keep track of when I taken them late! Which unfortunately can be hard to remember. But now I can easily track that and tell him that I took a pill late and we should take precautions.

Very helpful

I recently switched to progestin only pills which require even greater diligence in pill timing. This case and app have made the transition easier and it’s helping me to ensure I have a habit of taking at the same time daily with reminder notifications and texts for when it slips my mind.

Excellent way to keep track

I used to forget if I’d taken my pill or not and have anxiety until I could check my case. Now I just check my Emme app and assuage my worries. I would like for their to be a seasonal pack option. Since my pack of pills is technically 84 days with 7 placebos, there’s not really a way to match up the app to my prescription. I’m working with it, though, because the peace of mind is worth it.

So Helpful

I use this app for cycle tracking — not currently on birth control. It’s the cheapest option out there and the interface is super cute (phases of the moon). I love the little icons for quick logging of my mood, cravings, flow, etc. The support team is very helpful and friendly as well.

What I’ve been looking for

I don’t write reviews but I had to for this one. I’ve been searching for an app to track birth control that was simple and easy to use without all the pink frilly stuff. This is it: pretty, clean, and intuitive. I finally found the app I needed, thanks Emme!

Keeps me on track!

I’m not great at taking my pill at the same time everyday and Emme gives me subtle reminders (and second reminders if needed) in a way that is discreet if you’re in a group. There are a lot of other cool features like tracking your mood and cycle that is excited to explore! App looks and works great. Thanks Emme!

So good!

This is the BEST free tracking app that I’ve ever used. I’m a soon-to-be pharmacist, and I’m always looking for ways to help patients improve their medication adherence. Even though the case is rather pricey, I can still recommend this FREE app to help ladies track their cycles and stay adherent to their BC pills! 10/10 would recommend!

Notifications do not work

Within the past two weeks or so, notifications stopped working in the app. I try to re-enable them and am unable to. I have tried removing and re-installing the app, wiping my phone and restoring the software... Nothing. Unacceptable when I rely on the app to remind me to take my pill. If this doesn't get fixed ASAP, I will need to look into other options. Hope I didn't waste my $99...

Love the adaptive reminders for traveling!

I switched from Clue to Emme for the pill reminders that adjust based on your time zone. I travel regularly, so the app automatically adjusting the time ensures I maintain a 24 hour interval. I just use the app (I don’t have the case).

Love it

Super intuitive and easy to use. The layout and graphics are gorgeous. The only thing it doesn’t do that I wish it did was future period predictions. If they ever add that I would be able to delete my other period tracker app and use this as an all in one app

Terrible Application

Imagine spending $100 on something you thought was cool to help remind you to take your pills and track your activity. Now, imagine the application is trash and doesn’t even allow you to sign up because you cannot move on beyond the name field to complete sign up. Also, imagine that you cannot complete sign up online and now you have a useless $100 case that does nothing. I mean, she’s cute though but not functional.

Great for tracking

I have the case and it tracks my pills perfectly. However I hate that when I have my period I have to manually track each day. I wish that there as a “started” button and then I can press “period is over” when it’s done.

The app is simple to use and beautiful, much more aesthetically pleasing than most of the bright pink and purple period tracking apps. Beautiful artwork. I hope the app stays free! The case it’s promoting would be helpful, but i can’t afford it.

Fantastic App!

Such an easy to use app that is amazing to track anything and everything regarding your cycle! Women’s health is so important, and I love that there is now the perfect app and case design for it!! I also learn something new each day from the reminder notifications

Tracking tools

I really love the tracking tools beyond the pill case — they’re easy to manage and it forces me to take a moment to think about my body and how I’m feeling each day. Realizing that I rarely make time to check myself and this is so helpful for me!

Never forget

Open the case, unclip the pill sheet and it automatically tracks the time and date. So clever and super useful for people who tend to forget a lot! Wish there was a variety of pill cases!

Never Connects to Bluetooth

the app and case are ok, pretty colored cases and i like that i can keep track of my pills and the reminders they send but the case hardly ever connects to bluetooth and putting the pill pack in the case is annoying because if you don’t put it in just right it doesn’t close or crushes your pills.
