My essentrics experience…Wendy Allan Merrow
I have been doing essentrics workouts for four years. I am now 71 and do a different workout 6 out of 7 days a week. My energy, flexibility and stamina kind of amaze even me some days. For me, these workouts also profoundly and positively improve my mood and daily outlook, guaranteed. I simply cannot imagine not doing this. Miranda has taught me why and how to do the exercises; I have a vastly better understanding of how my body works and can work. The connective tissue workouts are just magical! I feel like a lithe ballet dancer, when I get done ☺️. My only regret is that I cannot convince several family members and friends to try it. I loan them the aging backwards cd, they watch it and then don’t follow through. It makes me very sad, because I KNOW how much the program would help them. I can only be responsible for my own health and well being, obviously, but an exercise magic wand would sure be handy! I use the streaming app and the cd’s…the variety is great because I can select workouts to match my moods and areas I need to focus on for that particular moment. All the instructors are excellent, but I still enjoy Miranda, when I need to feel ‘grounded’ again. Thank you all for sharing this life giving practice. It means the world to me.

Life changing/Body changing
Essentrics is the absolute BEST gift you can give yourself or anyone you care about! I’ve been an avid exerciser, gym member, group fitness class(barre, HIIT, Step, Pilates, Yoga, Boot Camp, Zumba, etc) taker for 30 years, since I was a teen and NOTHING compares with Essentrics and what it will do for your body. Everybody NEEDS this! I wish I discovered this years ago! When I first started the workouts, I wasn’t too enthused bc they weren’t super fun (IMO) and lack the great music that I was used to, but trust me....IT WORKS! I’ve had multiple lingering injuries from the past that were limiting my body and Essentrics helped like nothing else ever has! I even told my Ortho Dr about it and she was impressed, she even wrote to me to thank me for introducing me to it. I’ve recc so many family members, friends, neighbors, clients, and everyone who’s done it has thanked me. It’s likely very different than anything you’ve done before, so give yourself 2 solid weeks of doing it at least 5 times a week and I promise, you will feel the difference and your body will thank you! The website and app are awesome too, so organized and easy to find whatever you may be looking for. The instructors are top notch and this program is limitless!!

Eat program
I’ve been classical stretching for 7 + years and it has been the thing to keep me on track, challenge me, ease me back in when I , for whatever reason, have gotten away from fitness. Nothing I have ever tried has brought me as much joy in exercise . I am always glad when I do it. I love I can choose the types and styles of routes . For example , when I had plantar fasciitis , I was able to be free of it with Essentrics foot workouts. I love the lymphatic system routine. I have a job that requires a lot of repetitive movements and I can come home and do an upper body stretch and keep balance. Last I have become stronger in my weakest places and I feel that strength in my everyday activities- especially being a mom of six and grandma to two. Thank you to all your team. Mother daughter Edmond White duo and I really enjoy and benefit the most from Meg when I’m ready to elevate my strength and fine tune my way of stretching. She really helps me to take the time to think and understand why it is important to keep a mindset of progress , even with the same stretches all these years. I can’t say enough so I will stop there. Truly has improved my life!
I LOVE Essentrics! I have been doing it daily for almost 8 or 9 years and if I miss a day I can't wait to go back to it! My back has never felt better since my 20s. I am now 57 and plan to continue doing this as long as possible. I recently had my first bone density test, and my doctor was astounded at how strong my bones appeared. This has just been such a lifesaver for me. I can garden, play sports, and generally just live a better life because of it. This program has taught me how to get out of pain if I have an episode of back pain or hip pain. I take care of my 3-year-old grandson every day and Essentrics has helped me rise to this challenge easily!! If you haven't tried this program yet, give it a chance and you will not regret it no matter if you are a high-level athlete or a busy mother/ father or an aging grandparent! No matter who you are or what age, you will benefit from this program. And the app makes it so easy not to miss a work out if you are traveling or just can't take your computer or tablet with you. Love this program
I’ve been following you for three years now. I found your program on my local tv listings and after the first show I was hooked. I’m not an exercise fanatic but your show was on 3x a day and I found myself catching the show every time!! I felt great and was never sore from a workout. My body was being balanced! I bought your book and read it too! I got many friends excited about some of your pain relief videos too! Recently we went on a 10 day cruise and since I have the app, I was able to keep working with you every day in the ship’s fitness center. I never miss a workout. I truly feel at my best when I’ve stretched and balanced myself. You are my fitness trainer and I’m so excited when a new season comes out! My forever fav show is S11 E25 with the iguana! I love that one because I’m envisioning the camera crew trying to keep a straight face so they don’t scare you! I do that workout frequently! Best I’ve ever felt
I first saw the Essentrics workouts on PBS. It didn’t look to hard, do I did one or two shows a few years ago. It was good. My problem back then was my dogs every time I got on the floor the wanted to join me. I felt odd doing a workout in front of my late husband. The past two years I lost both my dogs and my husband of 32 years. I decided to focus on self healing and self care. I subscribed to the Essentrics channel in July 2023. I end up doing two workouts a day, one in the morning and one in the evening. This is the best I have felt in my entire life and I’m 55 now. I tell everyone about it since they have noticed a change in me mentally and physically. I can’t say enough good things about it. When I start talking about it again, my friends start to roll their eyes “there she goes again”. Do yourself a huge favor, try the two week trail and see how you feel. I had a back pain on and off for over a year. Within two or three weeks it was gone. It was a tight psoas muscle. Love it!!

Restoration
Essentrics is a life-enhancing, supportive process of exercise that gives immediate benefits of refreshment & strength! The teachers are all very positive, directing each part of the process with attentive care. I had Achilles- lengthening surgery on both legs in 2007, at the same time as an onset of Fibromyalgia put an end to my previously active life. Just being alive was constantly painful & my life felt diminished in every way. I remember that I put our plates in a plate rack on the countertop, because my shoulders were too stiff to reach up to the upper cupboards. I then started streaming Essentrics & enjoyed how simple it was to do at home, with no special equipment or clothing needed. I held on to Miranda’s encouragement that the body changes “cell by cell”. I felt good being able to move again! Now that I do Essentrics daily, as a necessity, I have much less pain, am stronger & have the best posture in my life! I highly recommend this program to everyone!! I can now reach the highest cupboards, play with my granddaughters, travel & look forward to each workout, including the 5-10 min. ones on FB!

Years Younger
I am 77 years of age and have exercised regularly for over 25 years. I am very small boned, normal height and weight, and have never been strong. I began Essentrics 3 years ago during Covid. It not only provided regular exercise when my gym was closed but, most importantly, provided results I never would have imagined. I have experienced so much flexibility through the stretching and tremendous relief from back pain I’ve had for many years. I barely notice my back now, and it used to ache during the night after lying in bed only a few hours, and it was difficult to walk or stand for long periods of time, that beginning at age 40. Today most people think I’m much much younger than I am, I think simply because I’m flexible, balanced and can move easily and quickly. Be patient…..it took a good 6 months to realize the positive effects, but I had never stretched my body before! I’m a forever believer in the value of stretching and strengthening with Essentrics. It’s been truly life changing.

Canceled Surgery
I was doing these stretches off and on, and I kept remembering how good I felt when I did them. I decided to start back and to focus on connective tissue in the aging back series for age 60’s. OMGoodness! I had no clue that doing them will prevent shoulder surgery. I am not kidding when I say that on day 3, I actually was beginning to see some improvement. Previously, I could not reach over my head, or put my right hand on my hip, or reach completely around to the back. After a week of continuing doing the connective tissues exercises, I am having less pain in my shoulder, and I am reaching further over my head, behind my back, and I can almost strike a pose with my hands on my hips. If you are wondering about doing this, just sign up for the trial and explore the site to see which exercises will work for you and do them. Thanksgiving morning class!
With so much to do on Thanksgiving morning, it was such a joy to start with 30 minutes of a gentle warming class. This made me both appreciate that there was a live class on a holiday morning as well as being able to select from such a variety of pre-recorded sessions. Whatever I felt I needed to do, arms, legs, spine, a class was waiting for me! I have followed Miranda on Classical Stretch on PBS for many years. Now with her own TV channel on line, I can access classes pretty much on demand. I am so glad Miranda developed her own channel which I began using as a supplement to the morning PBS classical stretch and, increasingly, I use Essentrics TV as my main go to platform for stretching. Thank you to all of the teachers who bring these programs into my home! I live in a rural area and I am a “super senior” mostly staying at home. I am appreciative of the efforts made to reach people like me, too. Thank you very much. Blessed Holidays.

Best monthly payment I make
I have followed classical stretch for over over 15 years, attended one of Miranda’s clinics and have been streaming since it was available. Plans were to drop it when home and only use when traveling but as it turns out I stream all year long, doing an Essentrics video or two several times a week especially when I have an issue on one part of an aging body (73). My husband has thrown his back out several times and bemoaned not being able to play golf. Putting him on an Essentrics back regime had him back on the links in days rather than weeks. I have turned several women golfers on to your back help, one of whom lives in Canada in the summer and found a class to attend. So with this dedicated use of your program you can imagine my excitement when the email today announced the new program with some live classes. Must have
I can’t imagine living without Essentrics workouts! I do these every single day and I feel amazing! If you have backaches, knee pain, neck pain etc… then these workouts are for you. They are workouts that focus on getting you out of pain and increasing mobility. Soon enough you’ll notice you feel lighter on your feet, more free in your body, and on top of it all, looking like a ballerina. Your new found mobility will make you able to approach other workouts with ease. You’ll be lifting weights more comfortably, running faster, and bringing your A game to any sport you may play. The team at Essentrics are professionals with a passion for understanding how our bodies- with all its different organs, muscles, ligaments, and bones- work as one unit. They have an academic understanding of anatomy, and a professional athlete level of application. These are workouts with your health and quality of life in mind. I repeate, Essentrics workouts are a must have!

The Best Workouts For Many Years For Me
I have been doing Classical Stretch or Essentrics workouts for 12 years. My sister and I challenged each other to do one workout a day, with a day of rest per week, many years ago. Doing the workouts transformed my body from top to toe. I stand taller, my step is lighter, my golf swing is smooth, my walks and hikes are easier. I love being able to choose which episode suits my body on any particular day. And yes, they are only 23 or so minutes long. What a short time to make such a tremendous difference to my overall health and outlook. Because when you are strong in body, your outlook on life also changes. More vital connections. From the bottom of my heart I thank Miranda Esmonde White for her vision and inspiration and for all of her encouragement during her videos. Also, to her entire team, giving us choice and guidance for our differing physical needs.

Get Reacquainted with Your Body
Miranda and her crew take you through routines that look easy but which can challenge you deeply. It’s similar to yoga in that you are going to use your whole body and you can work progressively (not stretching more than your body allows), but unlike yoga, stretches and movements are dynamic and not static. The app gives you access to every level of exercise: beginning, intermediate and advanced. If you are an athlete, there are some pre-sport workouts to help you finish stronger with less fatigue. You can sort the many available workouts to all-standing workouts too, if like me, you don’t prefer floor work. A number of the workouts are filmed in tropical locations so watching and working out provides a nice virtual change of scenery. If you’ve not exercised in a while, the overall body stretching, strengthening and conditioning Essentrics gives will prepare you for more rigorous, gym machine kinds of workouts.

Great workout
Since I’ve started doing Essentrics I have noticed that I’m feeling stronger and freer in my movements. My lower back pain has disappeared, I feel more energized. We went skiing with my family in February, shortly after I completed the 21 day challenge for my age group, and I surprised myself (and others) by how strong I was on the slopes! I really enjoy the fact that there are challenges or programs regularly. I loved Meg Fenney’s 10 day core program! I also really appreciate that there are new live classes every week with different lengths. It is super convenient to be able to pick 25 minutes workout on some days as even 22 minutes makes a difference, and is better than nothing. I’m sure glad for Essentrics TV as it makes it super convenient for me to choose a workout on my own schedule wherever I am. Thank you to the Essentrics fabulous team of teachers!

Can’t Live Without It!
I’ve alway been active and physically fit. But when I got cancer two years ago, normal life came to a halt. I knew I needed exercise as part of my healing treatment but fatigue made it so difficult. Then I found Miranda on my public TV station. I was thrilled to have discovered a guided program I was able to do. Classical Stretch exercised my whole body and I could do it at my own pace. In a very encouraging way, Miranda Esmonde White explains what we are doing and why, as she goes through the movements of each exercise. No matter how I felt when I woke up in the morning, I turned on the TV and followed along with Essentrics. It has never failed to energize my body and my soul. I’ve been cancer free for fourteen months, now, and I’m still doing Essentrics. I subscribed to Essentrics TV so I could have it with me when I travel. I’m in Hawaii now, visiting my daughter and her family and getting ready to do my Classical Stretch before I begin my day. I’m sixty six years old but, like Miranda, I look and feel much younger. And, like Miranda, I’ll be doing Essentrics every day for the rest of my life! Thank you, Miranda Esmonde White, for the love and dedication you put into your videos. Saved my “physical “ life
I thank God for Essentrics/Classical stretch. It has literally saved my “physical“ life. I began to work from home in March 2020. Up until then I was in three yoga/Pilates classes per week for 20plus yes through a program at work. In March 2020 all that stopped abruptly. My body started to fall apart. I had no idea what the regular exercise has been doing for me. My neck back knees arms joints were all an issue to say the very least. I began the Essentrics workout about 3 years ago every morning at 7 AM on MPT channel 22–2. I’ve gradually seen a reduction in pain, an improvement in my mobility and my body is becoming -And looking –much more fit. I jump out of bed to do this program because I actually look forward to it.I love the host, Miranda Esmonde Whyte. Exercises to keep for life
I’ve tried so many forms of exercise from gyms, to running, to videos, to online classes, etc. This is the first exercise that I’ve found that I don’t get totally bored with. I think the reason is due to having so many different instructors & every class is a bit different, so you’re never doing the exact same thing over & over. Another benefit of the Essentrics online workout is the cost, which is very reasonable. I also like the fact that you can select the workout based on how much time you want to exercise for - with some workouts being as short as 12 minutes and others as long as an hour. Finally, you can select your routine on the part of your body that you wish to focus on each time - posture, arms, abs. I’ve been doing Essentrics for over 2 years now & definitely recommend it.

Over 70s workouts
This has made a great difference in my life! I’m more flexible and can actually enjoy daily activities such as cleaning and repairing our old farmhouse because I’m not in pain! I plan to continue doing all of these exercises every day. I love the streaming app because it’s so convenient and so well organized. One suggestion... for the over 70 and other programs in that set, you can download and print a schedule. I find that very useful and motivating as I check off each day. It also provides me with a record of where I am in the program. Could you provide this download for all your programs? I think a lot of people would like to have these. For instance, the legs program is very long and it might be frustrating to try to remember which session is the next one. Thanks so much for this wonderful, well organized app!

Love Essentrics!
I discovered Essentrics watching PBS about 3 years ago. I would usually record them each morning and replay a few at a time each day. I did faithfully for about a year. Then life got in the way and I stopped doing them (as I no longer had the PBS channel also) When the pandemic started and I wasn’t able to go to the gym I found the 14 day trial and then subscribed. I haven’t stopped since. I love the variety of workouts available on Essentrics TV. I never get bored doing the routines. I love all the instructors and do all the challenges as they come up. It has also helped me lose 15 pounds! Thank you Miranda and team for all you do and helping us get through these rough times! I actually enjoy exercising now
I am 39 years old, and I have never been good about exercising. I know it’s good for me, so I have been trying to find something that I can stick to, and I found it! After other workouts, my muscles felt tight and tired. After an Essentrics workout, they feel more flexible and energized. I feel like every muscle and joint in my body is looser, more relaxed, and stronger. I can really feel that I’m doing something good for my body, but the best part is I actually enjoy it! I used to dread exercising and would count down the minutes until the workout was over, only doing it for the results. Not only is Essentrics giving me great results, but I actually look forward to my workouts and enjoy every step! They have something for everyone, all ages and fitness levels. I would highly recommend Essentrics to anyone!

Essentrics Changed My Life
Growing up I was very active and played sports competitively. When I got to college, without sports, I no longer had the routine of exercise embedded in my daily life. My family always told me “never stop exercising, because it’s hard to get back into it.” Having been active my entire life and never knowing pain, I didnt listen. By the time I was motivated to develop an exercise routine on my own/ by following one of the many training programs online, I couldn’t do it. My body had atrophied and was weak. Lifting light weights would send me to the doctor with a pulled muscle. Even with a personal trainer, I gained more pain than I did strength. All. Over. My. Body. All this time, my Mom had been encouraging me to try the workout program she did, “Aging Backwards”. Truthfully, I put off trying it for years because I was young! And it wasn’t an “age” problem in my mind. Regardless, one day I gave in and tried it and my body has never felt better. I feel, walk, and sleep like I did when I was in high school! I love how strong I feel after each workout, WITHOUT PAIN that accompanied other exercise programs. Seriously, I feel forever grateful to Miranda and the team for Essentrics. The thing I’m most excited about is that I can continue to do these workouts for my entire life! -28 and feeling great 😁

Best start to my day!
I discovered Essentrics on PBS. At the time I was late 40s, close to a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, doing several hours of aerobics, treadmill, weights, etc. But I was burning out. Since turning 50 and with the change of life, I discovered my knees were wearing out. Now diagnosed with stage 4 genetic osteoarthritis, I prefer Classical Stretch, and have realized the need to change my exercise routine for good. I decided to sign up for the yearly App, and have been starting my day with a workout for the last 2 years. While my condition won’t go away, Essentrics has increased my energy, flexibility, and endurance for activities I can still enjoy like walking, hiking, and swimming. Even my husband and teenagers have added these workouts to their lives. I’m so grateful for this program and foresee a long future with Essentrics!

No more pain
I started doing Essentrics last February 2020. Before doing this exercise program I had poor posture, bad balance, and pain especially in my right hip due to Osteoarthritis. I committed myself to doing this program six days a week and rarely miss doing one accept for a good reason. The first week I noticed that I had less pain and as time went on I suddenly noticed that my posture had improved! For the pain in my right hip I was taking an arthritis medication on most days. I can’t remember the last time I have taken it since I’ve committed to this exercise. I rarely have pain in my hip now! I’m so amazed at the balance I have now and I’m less “clumsy” than I used to be. Works like nothing else
I’m young-ish and have lately been hit with chronic hip pain, shoulder pain, and now TMJ. The easiest thing to say: when I don’t do Essentrics, the pain comes back. I’ve gone into a session in terrible pain, and after one workout it is 90% - 100% improved. That speaks for itself in terms of effectiveness. Now efficiency: I recently did a 75 min yoga session with a friend. I feel more worked out and my muscles definitely feel more stretched after 30 min of Essentrics. And I don’t have to leave my house! In terms of bang for your buck, this workout is the way to go. It works and it works in 30 min a day. For those of us who don’t have time (everyone), it’s the perfect, efficient, and effective way to stay strong. And since I can do it in my living room, there is no excuse (though I make them). I will say that I love Miranda for old school learning around the practice. I feel like you get more “education” about the body during her sessions which I find interesting and useful. I love the variety of other teachers. Some I find more polished in their cuing, but you get less “education.” Its’s nice to have the variety. Keep adding content! I’d love to see more combo workouts, maybe 45 min where it’s a good amount of stretch and some solid cardio thrown in there, too.

Just perfect
Update! I began noticing after doing these workouts for about a year that I would recover from injury faster, in particular, my feet and ankles. Where I live, there are a lot of uneven sidewalks, and it’s not too difficult to twist an ankle now and then. I started noticing that I recover from these very quickly. Just a few days ago I took a pretty bad tumble on some concrete steps – I missed the last step. I sure did hurt my foot and ankle but it is recovering well. I also love this program because you can choose whatever workout you like. It can be beginner, advanced, slow, fast. I had a very nasty cold this month, and I found a post Covid workout, which was just perfect to get my blood flowing and avoid stiffness. Finally, I Love that many of the workouts are 30 minutes or less. I can’t be the only one who has trouble committing to anything for more than a short time. I do these in my office at work. I just close the door and 30 minutes later I’m feeling good. I will be a lifelong user of this amazing program. These workouts are helping me to regain mobility, flexibility, balance, and strength. One of the best things is that it’s easy to start even if your physical well-being has been in decline.

Amazing full body no impact workouts!
I started out with Classical Stretch many years ago after trying several physical therapy places for a herniated disk in my neck. I am now doing Essentrics workouts several times a week and I see the difference it makes on my body. I have more energy after workouts. I am more flexible. I have better balance. I have less pain. I am more toned. I love it! I recommend it to everyone I know because I have had such a positive response to these short workouts. I love the different workouts based on a specific area you want to work on so you can change it up according to how you feel. It’s nice that they provide new live classes often to add to the options. I watch the recording of those when it’s convenient to me. It’s a short workout that improves my body and well-being overall.

Game changer for your body
I found this by accident when I had an injury and loved the idea of stretching and fitness. This is so much more than stretching! This has actually changed the shape of my body and I feel better than I have in years. I also found out that I had been stretching incorrectly for most of my life and doing it correctly made such a difference. There are so many options that I am never bored and the fact that I can see how it has changed my body shape and tone makes me come back again and again. I find the instruction easy to listen to , explained in a way that is easy to understand , and the locations they film in are beautiful. I have recommended this app to many people. Thank you, Miranda for this workout instruction.

Keeps me active
I have experience much less pain in movement since starting Essentrics. I recommend it to all family members and friends. I am not showing as much improvement as I would like in flexibility but at my age, I had a lot of catching up to do. I hope to gain height with Essentrics but so far I have not. The nurse was so disinterested in getting the correct height I am not sure she made a good measurement. I especially like the focus on posture, back movement, but also overall body workouts. Although improvements are enormous, the main thing is I stick to the daily routine, now for more than one year. I prefer the classic programs more than the youth dominated new presentations, being more relaxed and seemingly better results. I feel more confident.
I’m am now 77 and feel like a young 77 since doing Essentrics for about 3 years now. I love the way it makes me feel, I love that it’s always available, and that my legs are stronger and my posture is better. I love that it is using all my joints and muscles and facia every time I do any of the programs. I’ve done some of the 70s I’ve done some of the 60s and sometimes I do the 50s and feel good about all of it. I’ve also done lots of other exercise over the years Pilates, yoga, strength, training, etc. and I always seem to hurt myself. However, now I feel really stronger and pain-free. We travel a lot in the summer and I do it on my iPad and hotel rooms or wherever I am. I am grateful to have found this by accident and will continue doing it forever. Thank you

My ONLY Complaint
I absolutely love Essentrics. It’s changed my life. I share that at every opportunity. My only complaint is with the app. I love that videos can be saved to My Library, but I truly wish there was a way to have folders/boards, to somehow categorize WITHIN the library. It’s often difficult to go back to a particular workout that I loved when “everything looks the same” and I have to scroll through a long list. If I could categorize, then I could sort workouts based on my personal needs or criteria. Currently, putting my favorites in the library is like adding a favorite book to my library and then having to pull them one by one, flip through, and see if it’s “the one.” Similar topics, same authors.

The best workout that doesn’t leave you sore
I found Essentrics (then called Classical Stretch) many years ago on PBS. After only watching the episodes I decided to try it. I was shocked at how good I felt afterwards. There is something to be said about using ALL the muscles in your body and I mean ALL. It helped improve my running and cycling and has helped me recovery from old nagging injuries as well as avoid new ones. I don’t like to skip a day because it feels so good. It also helped me deal with the grief of losing my mother this past August. During her dying process I didn’t have much time to exercise. After she passed I started back up, not realizing how much tension and grief I was retaining in my body. Doing Essentrics helped me unpack all of the physical grief that I had built up in my body and start healing again.

Worth it!
If you did a workout every day I don’t think you would complete all of the programs on this app! If you get bored of routines this is the app for you. You will learn things about the way your own body moves and functions, idk if this program will give you the beach body you want bc I have health issues that keep me from being regular, but when I can workout this is my go to app. It can be somewhat easy if you’re struggling that day or extremely challenging when you can push it. I believe that if I did one or two programs a day combined with a healthy diet I would have the body I want! I absolutely love it, can’t imagine not having it! I tell everyone it’s the best workout there is bc it teaches you to respect and appreciate your body!

Great variety of workouts and instructors
I like being able to pick an instructor or a workout to address a specific issue (back pain, neck stiffness, etc.). The challenges are fun to follow, and my hubby has noticed an immediate change in my posture! I am able to move more freely when I do these workouts, and they are not so hard that I am discouraged (painfully sore) the next day. It’s a little hard to keep track of which workouts I’ve done, but overall it’s a nice app which helps me get some exercise. **Update: I just wanted to mention that I appreciate that there is some variety in instructors (male, female, older, younger, slim, curvy) and that when one can see bare legs (male) or tights with some color differentiation (two tone, versus solid color) then it’s easier to see what the leg muscles and joints are doing, especially if one is a beginner.

Wonderful strengthening and stretching at home!
I have been doing Essentrics for several years now. It compliments other exercise I do because it strengthens my muscles and brings me a greater range of motion through all parts of my body. Whenever I have pain from overdoing my hiking in the hills or whatever, I do one or more favorite Essentrics workouts and I begin to feel better after 20 minutes. The more I do them, I find I am working harder because I am using more of my muscle chains. This is a safe way to work out from home. There is great variety in the workouts so boredom is not a problem at all. Thank you Essentrics team. I love the App because I have quick access to many many workouts. Love these workouts!
I am in my late 50’s and had bad back and shoulder pain for years. Spent lots of money, in many different ways trying to get rid of the pain. A friend recommended the aging backwards workouts. Have been doing them daily and other Essentrics workouts for the last 6 months. They are great...easy to do but still feel like I am getting benefits. I no longer have pain every day. Feel stronger and can move around much easier. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to feel younger! But these workouts aren’t just for old people...the younger instructors do an excellent job explaining how to do the variety of workouts available and I think anyone of any age would really like their workouts. Try it...you won’t be sorry!

Miranda is amazing!!
Haven’t been to the gym in 2 years and I used this app and I’m in better shape than ever. I’ve done every type of exercise program and this one is really well designed. The program pulls I can tell from years of experience of how to move your body correctly and how to prevent injuries. My massage therapist asked me to try it after I told her I was there because yoga caused a lot of issues injuries and chronic pain by the way it was taught in my area. After 2 years it has fixed a lot of imbalances in my body and lessen the pain ( 3-7 days of months I was struck in bed for neck and back pain , or migraines) now i do the program 30 minutes a day as long as I’m consistent I have no issues.

I have been doing classical stretch for over 14 years and love it. I am 64 and have no pain or physical issues. If I occasionally do, it doesn’t take long to go away. When I had a stroke in 2018, I did it as soon as possible and my sister was amazed by my dramatic improvement day by day. When I saw my doctor one month later and he saw me walk in heels, he couldn’t tell that I had had a stroke. I constantly tell my friends and family about the benefits and several have become regulars. I love the 21 day challenge to entice newbies. I noticed that you now have French lessons. Is Spanish in the works? I am fluent in Spanish and want to involve friends in Mexico? Any plans? Please advise. Thanks, Donna

Great workouts, OK app
The workouts are fantastic, the app could use some simple features that would make it so much easier to use. It would be great if videos saved to the Library could be re-ordered manually so that I can put them in the order I’d like to view them in. Maybe folders to group by topic, series, or whatever too. The “Resume” feature in a series doesn’t seem to work - just restarts the first video instead of the one I was watching. There is no “watched” indicator which would help a lot in a series to keep track of which one I’m on. Overall not a bad app, search feature works well, just gets confusing to manage which video you were on and to find things if you’ve got a bunch of videos saved to your library.

Love this program
I am not athletic, don’t care for gyms or sports. I’ve always liked stretching, walking and yoga. This program is exactly what I need and want for my still young but arthritic body. Sometimes when my (bone on bone) arthritic shoulder is bothering me, I can do one of these stretches and feel better. Almost anyone can do this. On a recent to Rome I noticed that my feet and legs didn’t hurt so much at the end of a long day of walking as they did on a previous trip. I also don’t wake up in the morning nearly as stiff and sore as I was before Essentrics. Now, if only you would develop a workout I could do on a long plane ride, I’d be in heaven. I have been known to do some of the Essentrics moves between flights at the gate while waiting to board.

Best exercise EVER!
I have exercised all my life - running, aerobics, weight lifting, etc. - and nothing has ever helped my body as quickly and easily as Classical Stretch / Essentrics! I get a true, full-body workout with only 30 minutes of effort each day. My core has never been this strong! As I have grown older, arthritis has creeped into my life and my strength, flexibility, and mobility suffered. Essentrics relieves so much of the pain and keeps me strong and flexible, so I can continue an active and fun life. Every now and then my schedule causes me to miss my daily exercise, and I am SO sorry and eager to get back on track the next day! Thank you for these programs that help make my life worth living. This workout changed my life for the better
I got COVID in 2019 and watched Classical Stretch (Essentrics) on PBS for 3 weeks. Sometime in that period I had mentioned to God that if he could just let me get better to do one of her workouts… well, the powers that be allowed me to feel better, I did one workout and that was it. I should mention that previous to COVID I had worked in an office environment for 15 years. Computer work did my body no favors. Fast forward 4 years. I do these exercises every day. (Okay, I have missed a week here and there, but boy do I feel it when I don’t do them) I’m now a landscaper and have been for 2 years. My body is in the best shape it has ever been in. When I have an ache or pain, I go to the routine that focuses on the specific area I need to heal. So my review is 5 stars. You need this workout. If you are still reading this, just take the plunge and try it for 2 weeks. Learn more about your body and all of the wonderful fascia, muscles and bones that work together to keep you moving. Peace. I’m off to exercise and make myself feel better for the day.

Love love love!
In my 70s, stiff, double knee replacements, overweight, on and on. In other words I am a hot mess! Just completed the 60s 21 day series and doing it again! In just three weeks I am moving better, have more energy and find myself getting in and out of the car so much easier. My 76 year old husband who is 5 months into a total shoulder replacement is doing this also. Combined with his physical therapy this workout series has greatly improved his mobility and range of motion. We are hooked! Just wish the series was longer than three weeks, but we will just keep repeating until we have aged backwards into the 50s series! Miranda and her instructors are the best, very informative and technical. Keeps us on our toes to be in alignment. Thanks

Rehabilitated Strength and Renewed Life!
Update: Stronger and Dancing and Swimming again! I was complimented just yesterday that I move like a dancer LOL I’ve been smiling ever since. As a now-middle-aged woman, my core strength is the best its ever been. I tell everyone about how Essentrics has changed my life for the better. Singing praises! Original: I started with Essentrics TV after injuring my lumbar spine. I was looking for decompression of the vertabrae and ability to twist again. Through gentleness, I made slow progress without reinjury. Now I am stronger than ever and pain free. My posture is so much better. I can garden for hours with knowledge of how to move and lift properly. Essentrics has changed my life and I am forever grateful.

Had back pain but resolved
In the past when I’ve done physical therapy, I’ve been told my back muscles are weak and was given some exercises to do at home. This program was recommended to me by my acupuncturist. I did the trial and right away my husband said my posture was so much better. My back pain also totally disappeared. I love the fact that you get different routines with different trainers. So I never gets bored. I have been doing this program now for over a year and have found it to be the best exercise program I have ever done. I highly recommend this but try it for two weeks and then make a decision, but you won’t be disappointed.

Best workouts
I’ve been doing essentrics workouts for 6 months now and just love them. I’m 63 yo and have been active but had shoulder issues with pain and limited mobility. These workouts alleviated both the pain and mobility within a few months. I never had a daily workout I wanted to do until these. You can strengthen your whole body in a 25 minute workout! I love how they have organized the workouts by time, equipment or area of focus. It makes it very easy to personalize to your goals even with time or equipment constraints. I say equipment, but all I mean by that is a floor mat or a chair/bar. Anyone can do these workouts and everyone should-you’ll feel better!

I Love this Program!
I love these workouts! As a mom of a very busy 4 year old boy, I don’t always have the opportunity for a 30 minute workout, but I can almost always get at least one to two 10-15 minute workouts in at some point during the day! I also live 30 minutes from the closest gym, and the fee for Essentrics tv is far less expensive than a gym membership in my area, so having it available at home (and fitting in my schedule) has made it so easy to exercise daily. It doesn’t matter what your age is or your fitness level, there is something for everyone! I’m excited to have found a program I do for the rest of my life!

Healthy Again
I’m in my late 50’s & had really gotten away from taking care of myself with a good exercise program. My joints, especially my knees, were so stiff & sore. I was tired & had very little energy left after taking care of daily tasks. At the suggestion of a friend I started Essentrics. Two days a week at first & I noticed a difference within a month. I’m now 9 months into the program & exercising every other day. It’s part of my routine & I look forward to each workout. I feel better than I have in a very long time. Changed my life
I am in my early thirties and have rheumatoid arthritis; pre-Essentrics I wasn't able to squad, kneel or lift heavyweights. These exercises helped me to strengthen and lengthen my muscles, and in a couple of months I had almost full body mobility. I am able to get up from the floor without help, I can play with children on the floor, I can kneel to pray -all pain free. I feel young again. The workouts are only 23 minutes long and it is easy to go from beginners level to intermediate. At first, I was concerned about gaining weight because the workouts are so short and easy, but after a year I didn't gain weight and I am healthier and stronger than ever before. Thank you Miranda and team! I am so grateful for this program!

Great App and Exercise PRogram
Have been using the App with the monthly subscription for almost a year now. I am still using it, which says I like the programs offered and how I feel after using the methods promoted here. Of course the more I use it, the better I feel! I am turning 60 this year and noticing that I am slowing down. When I am practicing Essentrics I feel good, strong and balanced. There is so much material to pick from, I can get lost trying to find something. Going with a course or challenge is a great way to find new classes that I like. I appreciate having the my list feature which allows me to save the ones I really like.
