I’ve been on the found program for approximately 3 weeks now, this week being my third. The doctor was able to pinpoint exactly what my issue was and so far, my insane cravings and huge appetite have gone down. For once, I don’t feel restricted in what I eat. For once, Im not feeling like I should punish myself for eating ice cream! My coach Jenny is absolutely lovely and checks in on me all the time. She’s responsive, has sent me good feedback and tips, and has just been very encouraging and understanding about everything. My meds have been good but I’ve had some annoying side effects with them; My doc was super responsive when I reported the issues and he was quick to help me find an alternative that would still help me. I am loving this entire program so far. The holistic approach has been helping me learn to love myself more and to be kinder to myself . Thank you so much Jenny and dr peacock
I’m so discouraged by found. The so-called health coach barely checked in, and didn’t follow through. I requested a new one but nothing happened. The provider chose meds and was abrupt and didn’t look at medical records, but still prescribed a medication with a brief summary. I did more reading and there are very dangerous side effects that were not communicated. I questioned it and she said if I noticed them, to message her. But it takes 72 hours to get a response? And if you look closely everywhere you want to talk about a med it says “call 911.” This process took over a week and they still didn’t send the meds so I messaged about alternatives and she never responded. They immediately broke trust. This app/membership is dangerous. You’re not getting the support and coaching you really need, and if you’ve never taken meds like this (live I haven’t) you don’t actually have a doctor. It’s a quick service pharmacy and not what is advertised. They are preying on people looking for support. I looked into the 90 day money back guarantee and in the fine print there are a bunch of hoops that basically mean you’re on your own. I’m out $100 for nothing. Don’t do this-go find an in person doctor and talk about your options.
Absolutely do not recommend this company. First they used to offer coaching (I was in the program before when it was Torch, it was great, I was successful, and the reason I Re-joined) they no longer offer that (unless you pay extra). It’s just this app that is no different than the countless cheaper or free apps available. You have a consultation with a provider, who doesn’t listen when you voice serious concerns about side effects you are experiencing and their “doctor” tells you that that cannot possibly be due to the medication, even though the problem started with starting the medication and stopped after stopping it. Then when you cancel before the end of the term (at 90 days), they say that they will charge you $129. What for? To stop doing nothing for me? They already had all the money up front! Take from that as I won’t be using the service further regardless. They say on their website they offer a partial refund but that is a complete lie. You pay them to start to do nothing and then pay them to quit doing nothing for you. I’m setting an alert to tell them to cancel as soon as the window opens to do so without $129 charge because they deserve no more of my money.
Weight loss app/program that finally covers it all
I am so happy with the Found program. They cover the eating, emotional and physical aspects of weight loss and health. You do have to put in the time but the rewards are so worth it. They help you to create habits that are lifetime habits…not for just right now. Lots of programs seem to know how to help lose the weight but once you stop doing their program you go back to all your old routines and gain that weight back. This one helps you to create habits and then reinforces those habits over and over again until you have a whole new routine! I’m excited and happy with all that I’m learning.
They keep your money even if you can’t participate!
THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. The meds raised my BP to an unhealthy level. The Found dr told me to stop them immediately instead of tapering which also caused bad side effects. I emailed support to cancel and they stated they were going to charge me for cancelling regardless of my PCP stating i cannot take the other med options because of my BP response. I have asked several times to cancel and found support rarely replies and when they do, they don’t cancel me and instead ask me to read the terms and conditions- aka strong arming me with threats that I’ll be charged to cancel and hoping i back off. The “coaching” is canned in text messages. I am not able to participate in this program effectively and they are holding onto $594. With the lack of responses, it’s going to push me past the 30 day mark which would mean even less of a refund. There is no number to call, you are at the mercy of email only. If you need weight loss help, go through your PCP. This whole program is designed around helping people but they are keeping your money even when your health forces you not to be able to participate.
The doctors on this service are never consistent, will disregard your concerns and insist that you use medication that has extremely harmful side effects. I had marked that I had a bad reaction to one medication that I took as an antidepressant, they insisted I use it for weight loss, uninterested by my reasons. I asked a question five times to one doctor, they dance around it. The money back guarantee is not something they fulfill, all support emails seem to be from templates because they do not respond to specific questions and comments I make. I have shown proof that I’ve met the criteria, they ignore that and say I’m not eligible for the guarantee, I asked for my service to be cancelled, they ignored. They selectively read what you send them in order to prolong your subscription. This is not worth it. The medications they send are not in the doses or combinations that you can see are used for weight loss in their brand versions, customer support is nonexistent and evasive, doctors do not listen to you and offer no consistency because it’s never the same person.
The program is fine but I’m not a fan of the app. I’ve used my fitness pal for years and it’s very user friendly. My main issue is I will try to log stuff in on days I’ve missed (like today I may try to log my sleep & exercise for yesterday) and if I accidentally forget to change the day in the upper right hand corner I cannot go back and change or delete it. Also you can only go back 2 days. I find the weekends are so busy, where I used to go in on Monday and log my info for the weekend including Friday in the past, I can’t do that on this app. I do feel like this program may not be working for me because it’s been 3 months and I haven’t lost any weight nor do I feel better yet. I do love my coach and I will own that I have not stuck with my goals all the time but the medication that I’m on has not helped at all either.
I was targeted by ads that claimed they factor in genetics and are against dieting but I kept getting messages from a fake health coach telling me to eat less and to constantly weigh myself. I informed them a million times that I don't want to starve myself or weigh myself because I have a history of anorexia, but they didn't care. Also, the app exists just to steal your data. I do not want to track anything due to triggering my eating disorder, but the app forces you to. I informed the "doctor" (who never speaks to you or even reads over your health history) that I do not want certain meds because they cause bad side effects and then this anonymous doctor bot prescribed me those exact meds! My friend who signed up for Found was also prescribed the same exact meds and sent the same exact messages. How does this place exist? I was an idiot and took some of the meds because I am desperate to lose weight but of course, they made me sick, worsened my eating disorder and I had to go to Urgent Care. Shame on you, Found!
The app honestly is clunky and slow, hard to navigate. The latest update is even worse. I’m now not able to see the logs at the top of the screen when I’m trying to add any logs at the same time. I have to click out of what I’m doing to even see what I even logged and start over. It’s very annoying. Before the update I was unable to log anything and I had to start my streak over, so that was disappointing. If I get a notification of challenge and I’m trying to accept, the minute I’m out of the screen (my phone screen turns off) and I try to go back I can’t find the place to accept either the challenge or sign up for a Found Ambassador or whatever it is. I can’t find where to have the chats with the Dr or med delivery notification question (as they got lost) I always have to login on the actual website and try to navigate that way. But in most cases I could never answer the question. It’s very frustrating
If I could rate zero stars I would. I left a review stating how I had had issues with the 90 day refund after trying to cancel when my medication hadn’t arrived yet and had no response from support. I ended up taking the first months medication and renenrolling because it helped hoping that had been a 1 off issue of not receiving a reply. Then I had another issue with payment and submitted help to the found support team and again no one replied. In total I emailed three times before the final cancellation with no response. I posted this here and now the review is gone for some reason? The only reason I even noticed is because the developer posted their generic response to contact their review team and when I did they haven’t even responded to that and I sent 12 days ago. This company is sketchy and won’t respond to you period. I over paid by a lot but will never see that money back.
Personalized program with the ongoing support and medical consults necessary to successfully and sustainably lose weight. Beyond helping me lose weight, the program has helped me create healthier habits and become more mindful of what I eat and why. The app is useful and allows for your coach to have comprehensive info about your sleep, activity, food choices, etc. to assist with supporting you and guiding you toward your weight loss goals and overall wellness. This is the first program that has worked for me. I highly recommend it.
I signed up, excited to get started. I was offered off label seizure meds, with some concerning side effects, and ultimately decided this wasn’t a safe option for me. My RN partner was very against me going this route as well. The meds offered aren’t safe for those not on birth control (I am not and was prescribed anyway). The conversation on my physicians end were from a template, and it did not feel like a person was on the other end, it felt pretty automated. Next I was offered a med for folks with type two diabetes that said it could cause significant stomach upset. I don’t work in a profession that gives me the flexibility to be running to the restroom/feel sick every day. I am currently asking for a refund, and waiting to see how that goes. I requested it at day 3, pretty early on, and am worried that I’m most likely getting charged a $129 cancellation fee.
I started Found in July 2022, by September I was down 26 pds🥳 The medication I was given totally curbed my ferocious appetite and out of control cravings and constant thinking of food! My coach was awesome!! Super supportive! Very encouraging and got me to do my least favorite thing: exercise!!! I changed my eating and activity- this is not magic folks! You also have to eat healthy! The medication just helped with appetite control and I did the rest, along with the support of coaching and daily reading of info on the Found site and emails. You may read a few negative reviews here but you get out of it what you put into it! It has worked for me, I’m one person.
For a first version, it’s ok. But it’s not Intuitive. The main thing we need this for is tracking weight and in order to track your weight you have to click profile and then membership, then the clipboard. And you wouldn’t find that if you didn’t spend a bunch of time looking for it. A much easier way would be to click on the weight option on journey. It’s right there and super visible. That’s much more intuitive. The designers of this app should take a look at other weight loss program apps to get some ideas to make this more user friendly. It’s still really tough. I’m looking forward to seeing the app progress. Love the program, app still needs work.
This app claims to have made a bunch of changes recently, ditching some of their coaches for new, more behaviorally trained folks. I haven’t seen any indication of improvement on the app or with my new coach. In fact, I preferred my former coach and now feel demotivated having to start from zero with someone else. The app experience is pretty minimal — not a lot of functionality (you can’t even input data for the prior day, which is inconvenient for anyone who gets busy and forgets to upload their weight, etc.). The app also relies too heavily on basic gamification, which feels geared toward someone 1/3 my age. Give me timely, personalized insights, not useless points for drinking enough water in a day.
I would give negative stars if I could. This is a scam and waste of money and time. Don’t do it. Initially may seem legitimate but then things slow down or they place the delay on the insurance or pharmacy. There is no customer service phone number. There is no customer support-even though you may email the “support techs”. You’ll get a generic response which says “you will get a response in 24-72 hours”. I’M STILL WAITING. I have emailed every email I can, even the ones I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews FROM FOUND responses. I’ve paid for 2 months of this joke, asked for a refund, asked for details on what is going on with my account or prescription. Nothing. Nada. Zero info. Shame on these folks at Found for taking advantage of vulnerable people trying to get healthier. SHAME SHAME SHAME.
Works just fine, but it’s a little clunky to operate. I don’t like that it doesn’t sync to my exercises in my Apple Watch just steps. This app would be much better and I would use it way more if it incorporated everything I need for my weight loss journey such as syncing with Apple Watch or iPhone for exercises, and a food tracking app such as lose it or my fitness pal. I often don’t log here because everything is in my other apps and I not gonna spend more time doing it twice. Also just tracking steps isn’t a good Indicator of fitness since lots of people have jobs where they walk a ton with lots of steps and need to be counting their other physical activities.
I CANCELED AND THEY CHARGED EVEN TOUGH AND DIDN NOT GAVE ME REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE SERVICE THE DOCTORS DIDNT DO. WE AGREED TO PAY THE COACH NOT DOCTORS ONCE DOCTORS DIDNT DO THEIR JOBS AND BESIDES THAT, THEY CHARGED EXTRA MONTH AFTER I CANCELED! I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!! App is not that easy to navigate, it’s a lot of actions needed that it’s hard to accomplish in a busy day. Doctors don’t answer questions, they are not prepared to answers simple questions as : why did you choose this medication for me? Zoom consultations are not available so you can’t really speak to them, answers turnaround are terrible. I paid for a month and I couldn’t even get my medicine due to doctors indifference. (Makes me think who is answering questions in the other side). Positive: coach is good and sent messages to help you through out the process and even available to help with this naughty app.
360 Weight + Health + Well-being - how refreshing!
Speaking in regard to the program holistically, I’ve been working with Found for about 6 weeks now. While admittedly initially lukewarm, and holding the program at arm’s length (thanks very much to the dozens of failed weight loss programs prior), Found has really won me over with their non-judgmental, whole health (body + mind) approach to weight loss. While my recommended prescription helps to suppress hunger and fight cravings, my personal coach texts me every weekday and offers warm, insightful encouragement and resources. I’ve opted not to calorie count and have so far lost almost 10 lbs, just by focusing on weekly themes like added sugars and mindfulness. This to me feels like the “real deal” - something sustainable that focuses on the right things. (My only gripe about the app / site in general is that it’s confusing to try to update your payment information!)
My experience with Found was not positive and I have canceled my membership. First, in the initial consult, I stated that I have depression and a hard time focusing. The first medicine they offered had worsening of depressive symptoms as it’s main side effect. I tried it for 6 weeks, but felt horrible and then asked for another medication citing the side effects as the reason I wanted to change. The provider offered a different medication and confusing directions for how to taper off the first one. When I asked for clarification, he sent the same instructions but with a snarky note. I responded again asking for clear directions, and he finally responded. I started the second medication and immediately had a side effect. The instructions with the medication advised me to contact my provider right away if this occurred. It took THREE days to get a response from Found. Meanwhile, I went to my regular doctor. For me, the medications Found offers have too many adverse side effects. I would not recommend this program. The one bright spot was my coach, Kristin. She is great.
I love that you can easily log your routines and have your coach instantly notified! Being able to send pictures to my coach (as well as receive them) makes it feel so personalized. The new feature that enables you to link your Apple Health is also AWESOME! Echos my title of being user friendly. Having my sleep and steps data automatically brought over for me saves me from pressing one million buttons. Love it, 5 stars! 🔥
This review is solely of the app. It’s a simple, easy way to communicate with your coach and physician and also to post your “wins” so that the community can see them. I didn’t have any problems with crashes or freezes. I think that they need a way to go back and edit typos and such, I basically used it as a journal or diary and posted my entries for my coach to read. Once your entry is there, there is no changing it, it is there. I really haven’t gotten involved with the community aspect of it, but have seen that used in other apps such as weight watchers.
I was a member of Found for well over a year, since 2022. The last several months it’s been impossible to reach support, the providers don’t answer in over 10 days, and forced to try to reach support again. Can only email them, no phone number. My membership suddenly “expired” and again unable to reach support. Sent several emails. I was paying $89 per month for the last year. My membership suddenly expired (a month after starting a new medication and not to my request, no changes in my payment method, literally no explanation) the membership fee has risen to $129 a month and have to restart the six month commitment. Very disappointed. Will seek other service to work with.
Worst customer service. They don’t read and you can’t block providers.
I had a great experience with Found until one of their providers was incredibly rude and disrespectful, and it all went downhill from there. Support tells me they can’t block that provider from my account (this seems like a HUGE invasion of privacy) and every time I get matched with that provider I need to manually write in and ask to be reassigned. But they don’t read the emails you send in, they just send you some templated email instead. Takes 4-5 days to hear back and then you get some copy-paste answer that doesn’t help with your question. I’m going to cancel my subscription and submit a concern with HIPAA violation complaint. This is truly a disaster.
I explained to my provider that I didn’t want a prescription with depressive side effects or one I couldn’t safely eat a low-carb diet while taking. I was given an anti-seizure med that did nothing but make me tired and disinterested. When it was time for me to refill my prescription, when I expressed my concerns that it was not effective for weight loss and not worth the side effects, they then wanted to prescribe a medication to treat diabetes, which I don’t have. They should stop claiming that part of their program is medication for weight loss with none of the medication they are willing to provide are on-label for weight loss and would be incredibly cheap to obtain at a local pharmacy.
Do NOT buy this app. They falsely advertise that they are weight-loss experts, but when you google the doctors they randomly assign to you, they’re poorly educated doctors who need side gigs for whatever reason. They offer zero specialized advice. They take days to respond and the responses completely fail to address the individualized information the app requires you to submit. They try to force anti-depressants on you even when you voice concerns. They IGNORE what the patient tells them and they argued with me about myself and insisted that I use drugs that I didn’t want - specifically anti-depressants and drugs to address “cravings” when I repeatedly said I had none. They are rude and unprofessional. ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF. Should be sued for false advertising and fraud.
Found has been a game changer for me. I’ve tried many weight loss programs over the years but never one that slowly and methodically changed my relationship with food, fitness, and myself the way Found has. The coaches and community are so supportive. I love the weekly and monthly challenges. No measuring or weighing of food. The app is super easy to use. In 4 1/2 months I’m down 32lbs and counting!! I highly recommend to anyone ready to reinvest in themself.
I joined found a year and a half ago. I was beyond skeptical, but I’m so glad I did it!! Best decision of my life! The app provides a great community, easy to navigate and easy to communicate with a doctor about your medication. The app provides everything you need to track your progress, keep you motivated and maintain your results! I beyond highly recommend! I’m half the size I use to be thanks to found!
This app is a fantastic tool to help you with your journey on the Found program! I am loving it! It makes it so easy to log your routines, medicines and weight! I would highly recommend this program along with the app. The doctors are very helpful with medication and questions and concerns and getting the right meds to fit your needs. My coach Rebecca is amazing and very supportive as well! 10 out of 10 recommend!! 😀
I have lost over 16% of my body weight on found. The program is awesome and I highly recommend. However, the app was clearly an afterthought and while they seem to be making improvements it’s pretty disappointing in comparison to other weight loss companies like Noom. The weight tracker is clunky and hard to see progress, the meal log etc are pretty useless and overall it’s hard to see any data that helps you analyze patterns and trends. The app needs a lot of work to keep up with its competitors but if they can get it upgraded, their underlying service is great!
This new app works well with the key components of the program. Allowing users to track weight and medication and achievements quickly rather than logging into the website. Additionally they have tabs where you can communicate with your coach and look up program information that’s very helpful.
Getting prescribed weight medication takes follow-up from your provider to your insurance company. With found, they give you a doctor but after your first appointment you’re left out in the lurch when your insurance tries to follow up, with no way to contact the doctor. I emailed support every day for a week with no reply and now my prescribed medicine is out of stock with MONTHS until they think they’ll get it in stock again. Complete waste of money. You’d think for a service you pay so much for they would answer their emails.
As the title says, my experience with found has been less than satisfactory. I paid for 6 months up front to give the program the time they say they need for results. I’ve had difficulties with getting any of my medications changed when not working or when experiencing bad side effects. Found reached out for me to be an “ambassador” and share my story for $500. This entails good/high rated reviews and multiple “posts” to your found account to show progress and inspire others, just as an fyi, I imagine the majority of 5 star ratings is from found buying them.
This program is absolutely amazing and I love everything about it. The only suggestion I have is I’d love to be able to comment on other people’s logs. Sometimes I see the food they have or they say something that I’d like to comment on but that isn’t possible at the moment or I haven’t been able to figure out how to do that.
This company is the latest in fad dieting and they simply do NOT care about you. The NP (that’s right, not even a doctor) prescribed something for me without even getting to know me or asking questions. That drug had a bad mental health side effect that the NP didn’t inform me of- otherwise I would’ve never agreed to it. This is absolutely HORRIBLE and not worth the money. Please look at comments on social media. They’ve been deleting the negative comments (though they’ll say it’s because they go against their guidelines and mention cussing or harmful speech- which NONE of them do). DO NOT DOWNLOAD. YOU’RE MORE THAN JUST A NUMBER.
In the time I’ve been a member, the app had a facelift which makes it more user friendly and engaging. I would only offer a recommendation to make it easier to change the calendar day after you’ve added log comments rather than starting over
I am only two weeks in and I am already sleeping better, my joints don’t hurt and I feel better than I have in the last few years. I’m down 8lbs and my clothes are already fitting different. My coach is awesome and has introduced me to workouts that work for me. Can’t speak highly enough about this program!!
I began the Found program about 3 weeks ago….I LOVE IT!! My coach, Sara, has truly been the key to keeping me on track. She’s given me all the tools I need to be successful…info on portion control, explanations for feeling hungry and just inspirational. I can’t wait to see where the Found journey takes me!
This is basically a bait and switch. They can’t actually get you weight loss meds unless you are a fully diagnosed diabetic. It is months and months of consults that don’t pan out to anything. This was a total waste of time. Get the 3 dollar weight loss app and count calories. You will do so much better. To answer the “developer response”. The generic meds they prescribe are not for weight loss and do not help. Research h shows that people that take them “ may lose a pound over a year”. That is not what they advertise. I stand by the review. Do not bother with this.
I did not select Found for their app. They stick to a solid clinical program. But I will say this… the app does not auto synch with Apple Health. The graphics are goofy. Process is forced linear - so you can’t go back and add/change previous days or fix mistakes. And the worst part - it doesn’t pick up what has already been recorded. So don’t expect much from that part of this program.
I found Found on IG and found it interesting. And I am so glad I checked it out. 3 weeks in and I have lost almost 6 lbs. The community is great and coaches attentive. It was a easy process working with a Doctor to help set my plan. Here is too more feeling better and getting fit!
The app just updated so that it automatically sends everything you log to the community. If you don’t want it sent to the community, you have to toggle it off for everything you log. I accidentally sent my weight to the whole community and I can’t even go back and turn it off. It’s terrible. No one but my coach wants to read about every meal I eat and whether or not I took my meds, and my weight should be private. Please fix this!!!!
I like the program and have been steadily losing weight. The app is utilitarian and useful. The new update is horrible though. It defaults to sharing everything I log to the community. I don’t want the internet to know my weight. I don’t want the internet to know if I ate a salad or ate a burger. I shouldn’t have to tap a button every single time I log something so that it stays between me and my coach. Please bring the old functionality back.
I always forget how community makes a difference when you’re trying to achieve something- Being accountable, contributing to the whole- I like using the app and I honestly think it helps with positive reinforcement and feedback.
The app helps me kept track of my journey and goals. My coach and community is amazing. I receive so much support and encouragement. It truly has helped me make great decisions and changes my lifestyle. I feel like I’ve gained a family of support with this program.
Responsive, polite, and professional!! Everything is made easy… if you can’t access something that you need ( medical information, bloodwork) they are already two steps ahead of you !
Very hard to find anything. There is no menu choice. For example to log weight. There are 4 choices at the bottom and none of them take you to the weight page. Then once you find it, it takes 5 clicks to get to the log page and then a 6th click to actually get to the page to enter weight.
The program is great! I have lost 15 lbs in 6 weeks. The app is pretty much useless though. I just use My Fitness Pal instead. There is really no point to the app. It has a “community” feature, but you can’t respond to anyone, only give them emojis. Your cat died? Sorry, here’s a sad emoji. You lost 100 lbs? Great! Here’s an applause emoji. Found really needs to up its game in the app department. So many companies are doing it better.
Why do I have this app? My coach is texting me (from the same generic number as other Found messages), messages from my Found doctor require me to go to the Found website. And then there is the app. Where neither of them communicate with me. No. If I have an app, my support team should be communicating with me through the app. Also, logging activities is not as intuitive as it should be. The app is underwhelming to say the least.
No one has responded to my questions and I have no idea how or when the pills come either…so far…I have spent 100$ for nothing. I’ve logged my meals every day and written multiple notes for my person. And an email even. No responses. It’s only been three days…but as you all know, this is why we start these things, for help where we can’t get started and so far, there is no start here?!
