Overall a fairly good app. I’ve had no crashes and using for 2 months now on iPhone 7 current iOS 12.1.4 The app has decent local coverage of current stories but I feel they’re limited in number and would like to have more and a decent way to filter if they did offer more local stories. There is also a bit of national coverage but it’s even more limited than local. However, the notification updates are very rapid and appreciated. It allows me to check quickly if something may effect me or my loved ones and also just know if I should keep my eyes open more than my usual vigilant self.
This app has had a bumpy ride but finally came to a much more stable version since early 2019. Local news coverage is fair and I mostly watch this channel for its upbeat crew. The app has still a few hiccups. One of them is the streaming service sometimes times out even if I have a robust network connection. This has been starting to happen in the passed couple of weeks. Overall, the app is good and the improvements have been instrumental.
I live in northern Ca, June Lake to be exact. We are pretty limited with news coverage about California here. We have a weekly newspaper, that’s it, and it comes from mammoth lakes. Cable company offers Reno news? I really like investigative reporting that fox 11 offers, plus they have awesome anchors like Christine Devine, and Dan Cohen. They are true professionals!!! Really great team. I love the fact I can watch at ten pm and beam the live coverage to my Apple TV. Direct tv now doesn’t offer LA networks in mono county anymore, since their upgrade. So sad.
Fox stimulate thinking, CNN makes me angry, driven by emotions of hate and anger, I just can’t trust their judgment. I would like someone to compare Europe to the US regarding invasion of refugees, a specially Muslim. Explain to the people in America what will happened if they continue the open boarder policy . Show examples of: France, England, Germany, Spain, Greece, Belgium, Sweden..... show the American people what will happened in the US , It is already happening! We need more international stories. US citizens are too occupied by gossip the facts.
Your channel is awesome final a local channel telling the news . I love all the anchors ! And I really miss Steve. But.. this app is really slow with presenting breaking news and important stories (I learn a lot more on twitter hours before they are posted to the Fox 11 app) and when I get an alert or announcement that they will be going live with a breaking story all I get is (waiting to go live). The only real reason I keep this app now is because I really like to watch GDLA and the news at noon.

I don’t live in LA but my daughter does and as a mom, I worry about her. I’ll txt her when there is a problem on one of the freeways and advise of police actions so she can avoid the areas. She was almost at the grocery store recently where a gunman was inside. She stopped and said she saw all the emergency responders and left the area. I’m in New Orleans and actually enjoy your stories and features. Thanks!
Received an alert that a police chase was in progress. Clicked and was greeted with one commercial before joining the live stream. Fair enough. But after some time watching the pursuit, just as the driver pulls over, gets out, and starts casually walking away from the officers (just when things are getting really interesting); the live feed disappears and the app serves up 12 commercials in a row (some are even repeats). During this time, ABC7 sends an alert that a K-9 took down the suspect. I guess I should have been watching them instead.

I love getting the notifications as the news rolls in. I especially love staying updated on any news or high speed pursuits. You have the option of turning the notifications off and just checking the news as you please. I love always staying up to date on things! Love this app.
Los Angeles takes hold of even Fox News as most of the stories posted here are clearly leaning to the left and have a liberal spin on them. I just want the news, I don’t want your political opinions or implications. Unfortunately even Fox isn’t immune to the fake news scandals that plague media in recent years. Just came back to update, they are now full blown racists who value certain people above others with their missing person reporting. Deleting the application.

Pop up alerts of “breaking news” or “happening now” give links that rarely go to the story. Links go to commercial advertising or a blank page saying they’ll be right back. If it does finally get to a story, it’s typically just regular news & not the story which was stated. Not just once in a while … this happens nearly every time. Lame, no talent I.T. group must run the site. Waste of time. I’m going to delete.
I’ve been reading the news on this app for a few years now. Over the past couple of months I’ve noticed it crashes more and more. When you finally get a page to load, more than half of it is filled with advertisements. This has become a lousy news source
Nice to have another point of view. I am sick and tired of the other networks. If the American public knew what their agenda really is, and if they would not take the American public for granted, we would have a hell of a lot better country
Since the recent app update, the notifications are turning off everyday, on both my iPhones. I have to go to settings and I watch the toggle turn on by itself. Odd. Can you please fix this? Especially with so much Covid news I’m missing, live Governor updates etc. Thank you!
At times it is unbearable because ads repeat over and over. Makes the experience aggravating instead of enjoyable. If they would actually use the software, they would see what needs to be done. Today, I had to sit through a 30 second commercial 3 times before I found out the site was down.
Got a news alert about Torrance officers fired for putting swastikas cars etc, but when I clicked on the story it wasn’t there?? Couldn’t find it? Usually it goes right to the story but couldn’t find it! This has happened several times!?
So proud to say that I not only WATCH FOX NEWS, but I also use the app while I am on the go. Thank you for making the app so user friendly, but thank you for always sharing the unbiased and honest news.
Internet news is intended to be up to the minute, just breaking, instantaneous. The Fox 11 News sure is recycled stories from the past 48 hours. A waste of time to even scan.
The antenna signal in my room isn't the greatest for some reason on my favorite channel, So i downloaded this app to watch it, but this morning it just kept playing the sponsored commercials and that's it. Just the Fox11 live stream logo. Please fix ASAP as i usually like watching only this morning news.
I love the cast 100% app need improvement, you need a search bar. It’s annoying i can’t find anything. Only the news you’ve provided. Change commercials same ones over and over are annoying. My biggest issue is search bar if you make it by cities it would me great if I can get all my news for my city by simply typing my city’s name Side note One TMZ Commercial is enough not 3 times in a role 🙄 I love TMZ but it’s been the same one for weeks I get it the situation wants a 300 dutch oven Thank you Sincerely Nancy
Channel 11 is the only lower channel we watch. They are fair and seem to tell news truthfully, not bashing stories people are tired of hearing. Thank you for that
The app is great. But the whole breaking news thing needs some work. We shouldn't have to go through Facebook to see breaking news. Other then that we love it.
Favorite channel. Native Californian, live in Arizona for the last 7 years. Have the Fox App, I get to see all the good stuff, all the time. In my opinion, Fox 11 is the LEAST Biased news team in the World!! GREAT JOB Ladies & Gents!!!! Leslie Hunt
This app works great when it works and terrible half the time. Besides the repeated same commercials that get really annoying, the app freezes a lot and doesn’t always fill the screen properly.
When I get a notification on the phone for a news story and I click on the notification it does not open up the news story. I have to look for it. Most other apps take you right to the story.
Police chases and fires when being provided by the helicopter reporters has no sound so I’m forced to o to other media web sites.., please fix its extremely annoying and really a let down for now and day technology
Every time I click on "breaking news" notification to watch live such as a pursuit, Facebook comes up for me to log in and I don't even have Facebook. That just recently started and breaking news notifications weren't always like that. So I give breaking news notifications 1 star.
Good day LA is just okay now days. Better than hours of news but sometimes too girly. My big issue is the sound. Sometimes I can barely hear anyone and have to turn up the volume. Then, when ads come on it is too loud.
