Fox News gives more of both sides of an issue than other news stations in Austin. Also like the weather forecast and radar. Wish they had the pollen count as before on phone ap.
I find good information on most of your stories, but in your “Sponsored Stories” they are not stories. They are miss leading ads. I’ve seen one that says there is beautiful apartments for the elderly. It shows a nice looking building. Also one of tonight’s “Sponsored Stories” you have one that shows hundreds of vehicles for sales also here in Florence. Both totally bogus. It’s lies. Nothing even close to your “sponsored Stories” exists here in Florence TX. Actually all those supposed stories are nothing but ads. Please be more responsible about how you show ads & not list them as stories. Disappointed.
Absolutely worst news app I’ve ever experienced. Story quality and summary articles of other national stories is less the middle school quality work. Staff writers journalistic credentials are from a bubble gum machine at Walmart. They couldn’t write a story for 3rd grade publication with a grade out come better than a D-. Stories are summations with few facts that are relevant to original national articles on the same story. Fire the Editor fire, the staff, delete this low quality new app or you will be misled by it. Austin’s ability to report quality broadcast or news articles is lower than except-able for city of this size. UT’s “Daily Texan” is the only half decent quality news organization in the city of Austin the Daily I’d give this App a -5 if I could!
My husband and I listen to Fox News all the time. We know we can depend on the latest updated news and alerts on Fox News. We also enjoy the news that scrolls at bottom of screen with additional news items of interest. Love all the newscasters meteorologists and sports. No channel can beat Fox News.
It is my opinion that Mike Warren and Rebecca Thomas are either anti-Trump or they are instructed to approach Trump news in a negative Left leaning way. Does Fox News recognize that 1/2 of their viewing audience are Trump voters and we actually think he’s doing a great job? I’m sick and tired of the negative condescending tone used by Mr. Warren. ***Also do you know that your Fox News Austin reporters are the ONLY on air personalities that hold pink and blue cheat sheets in front of the camera? Compare your reporters to other local networks. I’d say, PUT THOSE PAPERS DOWN!
Sure, it’s doesn’t update news daily. and yeah, it’s filled with adds. But by far it is the most poorly edited news app I have ever witnessed. I don’t believe anyone reads these stories before they are published to the app. For example: “ A 13-year-old girl was killed and two other teens were wounded Saturday night in Austin on the West Side.”. Yet the story i was reading was about Chicago. Get it together! get a better app copy editor.
We especially enjoy the morning weather with Zack. He is so knowledgeable and not only makes the weather report interesting but is teaching us about different weather events at the same time. Georgetown lovers of Fox 7.

I have lived in Temple, Texas for the past year and a half after living in Austin for the past 29 years. I Only watch the morning news on my iPad to start my day and get me going on my 75 mile trip into work in Austin.
I like this news outlet the best but when I click through from the app notification to the site I’d like it to Take me directly to that article. It takes me to the most recent article and I have to scroll through many pages to find what I wanted to read.
The latest version has an add that pops up when the app is first opened, which is expected. The bad part is that the add plays loud annoying music but disappears after a second or two and keeps playing the music. What?! Additionally, they are not super good at updating the news stories to a new/ current day. They need to learn from other fox stations, like Dallas or Denver.
I love Fox News nationally, both TV and app. Fox News Local, not so much. Some of the stories are lame (currently displaying a story about a possible tornado at a small regional airport outside Charlotte, NC. That's the best they have for Central Texas news today??) The story board also displays stories from previous days. With an on-demand, 24/7 news cycle, that's like a once-a-week newspaper delivery. Keep it changing ! I want to like you !! Pick up the pace, stay current, stay with BIG news local or national, and keep it interesting.
I’m using iOS v15.1 on an iPhone 11 and I just get the loading screen! I haven’t been able to use it for a couple of months now. I get the headlines in my notifications but the links takes me to the loading screen and no further…
Living in a small town in Bastrop county, we depend on FOX to stay informed of the news and weather. It is our one and only news center! Love the fact they are a conservative advocate! GOD BLESS‼
I have this app set up with alerts which come up frequently but when I tap the alerts story it takes me to the Fox 7 app and to a completely unrelated story and then I can even find the story I was alerted about! Deleting this app for this reason.
Notifications pop up on phone/ iPad about a specific story. When you click on the notification that story is nowhere to be found on the Fox 7 page… deleting and going to another channel
Not as good as it could be, wasted teaser notifications as bits of info roll in on developing stories. Don’t like opening a headline to find out there wasn’t really anything posted significant to the reader.
This new version app is horrible. Why in the world would it always have the same dated stories first. I want current news not to read same news over and over or have to scroll thru the app to read what happened 2hrs ago.
Can someone please explain to me why I just saw an ad for a junk service out of Los Angeles and a moped ad for India on an Austin local news app? Also why is there a need to repeat news stories over and over in the app?? This app used to somewhat informative not so much anymore. It’s a shame.

Good to keep up with news. Needs to be updated more on weekends. The spelling is below average. Sometimes seems the stories are written by school aged reporters. Ads are annoying.
I have lived in several areas of the country. This is the worst Fox News app I have ever encountered. The news will stay the same for days with no update of top stories. On top of this, the network itself makes no attempt to even pretend they are unbiased.
