This app makes you pick your location from a long list. After scrolling and scrolling to your location, you have to manually enter your credentials, and then 9 times out of 10, I get a blank blue screen. I just use the mobile version of their website.
Was concerned at first based on other reviews but I honestly am not sure what the issues are that others have. I was able to search for the school fine. I could login fine with a password manager, just had to search for the app in my password list. No issues using the app to update information.
I get a login screen and put in my credentials and hit login and I get a blank blue screen. I’ve submitted feedback. I got a text telling me to download the app and replied with my issues. I’ve been told to delete and redownload the app and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done that. I’m not the only one with this issue. Don’t push your app if people can’t even use it! Make it work first! Uggggggg
This app was working before the most recent update. Now I am unable to book any classes online. No classes show up listed regardless of the filters selected/unselected. Before this issue I was really happy with the app as it made it very convenient to book a makeup class. Now it’s a hassle.
Logging into this app is nearly impossible. Password managers do not work with this app because the app REQUIRES manual input into the password field to light up the Login button. A preloaded password from a password manager does not trigger the manual entry requirement. Copying and pasting from your password manager does not work either as the app’s login fields do not allow pasting. So you finally manually type in your password and then you perform whatever task you needed to within the app. You come back to the app a few hours later and you e been logged out only to have to relive this incredibly frustrating experience ALL OVER AGAIN. Incredibly frustrating and not worth using if you can’t figure out how to let people login and stay logged in.
After I select location and try to sign in I get a blue screen. Current app is downloaded and have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times does not correct problem
I see a lot of poor ratings for this app especially from people complaining about either login issues or because they’re too lazy to enter a password. I am very happy with this app. It’s fantastic. No login issues that many complain of. And it stays logged in. I don’t have to keep entering passwords. I am certain all these poor ratings are all user induced problems. Re-scheduling classes (transfer) and using make-up tokens is so easy when the app gives you all available slots for your kid’s swimming level based on the dates/calendar and filters you choose. I don’t have to stay on the call with a staff member going back and forth trying to figure out what slots are available for my son and what’s not.
This app has mostly been great but I have some issues with the latest update. It no longer shows you what lane your kid is in when enrolled. When you search classes you cannot see teachers of that class or the lanes. You also cannot filter classes (by day, level, etc) anymore either. So when searching for a different day I had to look though 180 classes. Before this update I had no issues.
When you click on the classes that are “open” it states that it’s not open. Also if you have 2 children, it is hard to schedule the classes together. It seems like they should change the way they do the scheduling. If you have 2 or more kids then they should only show you classes where all of your children would be able to go instead of staggered times. Very inconvenient. Also the dates do not show until you click on the class, it should should the date and time of the class before you click, not user friendly. I would redesign this whole app. Makes me not want to attend the facility
this app wasn’t the greatest before but now is even more frustrating. since the big update a couple months ago - when i go to schedule a makeup for either child there are zero classes available. for months a few times a week i check both enrolled kids and not one single make up class is ever available. something is definitely broken there and when i bring it up in person or email from the site someone from our location messages saying i should just call to book and that they can see available classes. what is the point of having the feature if it doesn’t even work. why can they see available classes but i can’t? this also goes for the website too, zero classes available on there. pleeeeaaaase fix it. it’s been so long since the feature has worked.
The primary reasons I want to I terrace with Goldfish is to cancel classes or book a makeup class. I have been through this app front and back and I can’t find where to do this in the app. In the app, I can see my schedule and that’s about the only use for me. I’m having to login to their website instead, at least once a month, usually more often. It’s pretty much worthless.
I would love to stop looking daily for classes my kid can go to only to see a) the list hasn’t changed or b) they’re full. So adding a notify me feature would ideally allow me to see ONLY the classes available for my kid. And stop making me specify what class she’s in!
Even though, it was setup by now me of their own staff, the Goldfish app didn’t work at all. The manager setup a password recovery trying to make it work. Nothing! Every time I tried to log in, system tells me that it is not the correct login/password combination. Click the forgot password link and …. Nothing happened or worse, system cannot process the request and to try again later. They should dump this app or hire a new programmer’s team to fix this or create a new app.
I’m typically able to accomplish everything I need to do when using the app. Ever since the last update though it says I have 2 unread notifications but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to clear them. I have clicked on every page and option and still can’t clear them out.
You can only book makeups for the level you’re currently in. You used to be able to book for a level lower. Now you have to call in (super inconvenient given their hours). Also if you’ve cancelled out a class more than 12 times in a year your absence isn’t automatically credited to your makeups. Again you have to call in or email for them to do it. There’s very very limited useful functionality to the app.
App won’t save your password in the password manager nor will it let you copy and paste. Don’t waste your time unless you want to manually write down and actually enter the keystrokes for your password. Kind of ridiculous in 2022 to have to go through this. Everything about the school itself is so well thought out. I’m surprised the app is so off putting at the first steps.
The app works when you can get logged in. It’s the most frustrating app ever!!!!! You can’t copy and paste, you can’t Face ID it, you have to manually put this password in time after time after time. I get so FRUSTRATED using this app that I just try to call the school to get what I need or go online entirely. Why develop an app to make parents lives easier to obtain information yet the app on and of itself is a hassle. WORST APP EVER!!!!
Hard to use with a password manager. I am not able to paste copied password. When I pre-fill, the login button remains prefilled because it expects input in the password field. And when I tap on the password field it erases the prefilled password! Incredibly frustrating.
Left a previous review and my biggest gripe was password managers not working, copy/pasting passwords not working, random logouts. All the issues have been addressed. In the past update. Thank You
With the newest version, you can no longer see and schedule makeups for your child like you could in the previous version. You’re forced to email back and forth with the school, and for busy working parents it’s a waste of time and you get less out of your membership as a result. Please return that ability ASAP
This app is quickly approaching unusable. It seems to log me out after each update and now they have removed makeup class search functionality. After leaving the app open for a while it decided that my child had no enrollments or makeups, but they showed back up after restarting the app.
When I filter for only show openings classes that are full show up. I really wish the filter would work correctly m. It also used to show it upcoming classes would open and it doesn’t show that anymore.
Ever since the latest update to the app I am no longer able to cancel a session or look for make up sessions I also can’t see how many make up tokens my child has. As a busy parent those features came in handy. Now I am forced to call the school and keep track myself of tokens. The app is now useless for me.
The update a couple mo the ago removed the ability to mark absent or schedule makeup classes. There’s not really any purpose to the app anymore. Now there is an added burden for parents to call when the location is open and on the staff to address every change. Very inefficient. Please change it back!
From a certain point, the blank page shows whenever I attempt to enter my password. I can enter my email address but password. I have been having this issue for more than two months, making me log in to the portal through a web browser. Please fix the bug.
This app is so badly designed that you cannot even stayed logged in at all and have to sign in each time. Plus, what I see as available make up classes on the app is not what they have in their system at all. Poorly designed and better fix these bugs. Not planning to use it again.
I have not been able to see any available classes via the app. for several weeks. Checked the desk at my swim school and learned that there were many available options that were not synced with the app. This app is worthless if it is not synced, and showing real time availability for classes.
Lost functionality to change date for make up class
please review your latest app update. i can no longer change the date to view what make up classes are available. by default i can only view today’s status.
You can’t cancel and reschedule make up lessons in the app as promised in the membership materials and on the website. This makes the whole membership significantly less valuable since you have to call and do it manually. It’s often hard to get ahold of anyone!
The app prior to the latest update wasn’t great but at least you could place an excused absence and see how makeup tokens you had. They removed all that functionality and make you call/email in order to request an excused absence. Who goes backwards when updating an app?
Don’t know if this app was even paid to be created but it is the worst app ever to be made. Too bad that it is an app that a parents have to use because they are already too busy dealing with their kids. When I try to call the center for any absences or make up classes they are never there. So frustrating!!!!!
This app stopped working for me months ago. When I try to login the screen just goes orange and Goldfish’s IT say they don’t have any answers. It’s incredibly inconvenient to not be able to check my child’s progress and to have to call every time I need to register as absentee or join a makeup class.
In the previous version of this app I was able to see missed class credits and select classes to use the credits. That feature no longer exists in this version which makes it very difficult to make up missed classes.
App constantly logs out and then either doesn’t recognize the correct password or the log in button isn’t enabled. App also doesn’t recognize the days that a student is enrolled. I’ve tried to put in future absences and it tells me my student isn’t enrolled that day, when the student is in fact enrolled that day. Very frustrating app
The app has never really supported password managers, but you used to be able to trick it into enabling the login button. Now they made a change that resets the password field so that doesn’t work. Can’t even paste the password in manually. Please fix this.
This app is so buggy it’s beyond useless. Can’t even log in half the time because the login button doesn’t work. Cannot record future absences bc of bugs. Just have to talk to the people at the front desk every time. Why even have an app if you can’t do anything on there?
It was fine before. Now I can’t find make up classes, filter lanes or teachers. Who did this? Please go back to how it was before. This is very difficult to navigate!
This is pretty non functional, constantly logs out, constant error messages. Going to delete and just talk to people at the desk about class information. The website is hard to navigate too, if you want to see your information.
The App is not working once downloaded from App Store (apple). Tried multiple times and still will not load any page for sign in just a blank orange page. Needs to get corrected so customers have access to page ASAP!
The app itself isn’t that bad, or wasn’t until the last month or so. They just issued an update to correct the booking issue, but it actually was not resolved. It’s pretty frustrating.
I live and die by my password manager but this app makes it impossible to use and I can’t toggle back and forth between the password manager and this app. As soon as you leave the app it erases any part of the password you have input. It’s the actual worst.
This app doesn’t even work. Every time I try to open it I just get 6 error messages saying it failed to load. Meanwhile the people at the school keep pushing the app and telling me to do everything on the app and I haven’t EVER been able to get it to work.
The new update is exceptionally inconvenient, i can no longer schedule or see the make up classes. I am not able to put in for an absentee. I am unclear to why this change came about but i hope they switch it back soon!
In today’s world every company should have a working app. Logging into the app is next to impossible and it freezes when trying to complete tasks. Beyond frustrating to say the least.
