Great App works near seamlessly
Tbh I haven’t really used the app much because I found it days into my break and I had already came up with a good way to track myself, but looking at the features and testing them out it works seamlessly. I feel like it feels kinda bare bones but overall great features that will help people who need that extra help to quit/break. The main reason I’m writing this is I saw someone give a one star review and after reading their reasoning was appalled at how poorly they understood this app. They wanted the app to tell them how much pot they smoked as if literally anyone but god and themselves could know that 😂. Anyway really good app, and if you’re serious about quitting and this is your main app or otherwise for recording your progress I would suggest their one time payment plus service. P.S. The only complaint I had about it being barebones is most likely (I’m not sure since I don’t have the desire at the time to commit to the app) fixed with the paid service as it seems to add a lot of features, and at a low price to help save tens-hundreds of dollars it definitely seems worth it to those with the need for a tracking app.

Didn’t know that was withdrawal when quitting
I absolutely love this app. I love that it shows how many days I have… I’m just and that kind of person… I love stats. But to me the biggest perk has been learning about withdrawal. I always thought withdrawal was frothing at the mouth and shaking all over I didn’t even know you could have withdrawal symptoms… Well guess what, I did and still have a few days left of withdrawal according to this app. It kind of explains why I always went back to smoking because of the withdrawal affects… Da huh? This is day seven and I’ve been having the worst dreams. The one I had last night was so bad I woke and really wanted a hit so bad I couldn’t see straight. I went well how about this… This is part of the process and I’m willing to go through it. It also talks about being more aware after a certain period of days and that too has been helpful because I guess I’m normal which I never thought I was but I’m going pretty closely to what they say the withdrawals are. Really pleased

A LIFE SAVER
Understanding that this takes discipline and a commitment to yourself can be hard and stressful, you want to do everything right to not let yourself down well. Consider this your accountability partner it’s not overbearing with reminders for the free version not sure how the premium is but I think once you get your mind on the same page as what you are vocalizing it all works out for you in the end. This app also offers Grace realizing that you’re human and we all fall short. What I love the most is the check-ins and the feelings you get knowing that each day is another step into the right direction. YOU GOT THIS and I’m proof I’m literally only On day 2 of my journey and have had a easy time dealing with the withdrawal symptoms. And staying uplifted and positive thanks to the app’s Achievement section. Who doesn’t like to be rewarded when they are doing a great job. I recommend This to anyone young and especially in your early or even mid to late twenties.

Greatest Tool Ever
Although this app requires you to keep yourself in check, it definitely helps a ton. Was an avid smoker for 3 years, quit on my own for career purposes, left that career, and started to spiral down a path that I thought was impossible to get out of. I was still functioning perfectly fine in life, but I was high 24/7, going through a 2 gram cart every other day (I know, it was bad). This app helped me stay “grounded” (pun intended) and every day that passes by I feel success, I feel that I’ve finally broken this stupid habit. I have something called CHS (look it up) and weed was literally killing me. So glad I found this app! On day 19, my acorn has a little leaf and roots, and I know there’s a 100% chance I don’t slip back as I’m over the cravings and whatever. The app also allows you to check in and gauge your cravings etc. great tool would 100% recommend for anyone trying to get off weed or even just take a T-Break.

so helpful!!
this app was suggested to me when going on my tolerance break and has been SO GREAT!! you can change the settings to help if you’re on a t-break, quitting, or just want to track your usage. there is so much support on the app and helpful tips, and you can enter daily journals to track your usage, urges, and emotions. the “triggers” and how you’re feeling requires a subscription to track, but it’s helpful to still look and click through them to validate how you’re feeling. when i see a button for “angry” or “irritable” it makes me feel much better about feeling those ways on my breaks and such. also, you get to grow your tree!!! i get so excited when i see the notification that i got an achievement and get to see my tree start to sprout and grow. overall, this app has made it incredible easier to manage my feelings and my usage. so so wonderful!

Love it, simple, few tweaks needed
I love the concept and the ability to see how far along you are on overcoming some of the withdraw symptoms based on studies or others experience. Might be a little pricy for the simplicity of the app, seems more of a one time purchase app. Marijuana anonymous app provides similar for free. Also noticed when adding triggers during check in, even if you go back and edit to change those they remain the same in your stats. For example if it says 25% of the time you cope with food and you edit or even completely remove that entry it will still say 25% food and that really irks my OCD. Only been using for 1 day but I like it so far, if I find anything else I will update later.

I purchased the upgrade and like it
I purchased the upgrade ($3.99), and have been using it for 3 days. It’s very helpful so far in helping me track my feelings and triggers and it gives you an idea of how many days these things will last. I noticed the library link to tolerance break no longer exists, possibly the developer can redirect it but it doesn’t matter to me much. There is a portion on the upgraded version that shows things like “nausea, should last 3 days” - I am at 3 days today so it says I should be “100%”, but I am definitely not 100% and experiencing significant nausea still. I tried to change the settings or alert it that I was still feeling this symptom but there doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust these. It’s a great app otherwise.

Great Way To See Progress
Anyone who battles with any type of addiction knows the feeling of getting nowhere fast. Sometimes the road ahead and the obstacles alone are enough to stop you from staying clean. I personally use this for my THC breaks, it’s a great way to see how far you’ve actually gone without getting high. It’s amazing even seeing one second pass! I would also like to point out if you’re as close accurate with the info you enter initially, it can quite literally SHOW you how many times you haven’t smoked, based off your habits when you started. Thank you for offering a free App that’s goal is to help people better themselves. I challenge you all to download :)

More than I expected
I was not expecting much or for the app to work at all, to be honest. I had been high for a year and a half with maybe 3 day breaks at most here and there. But with this app I am now on day 7. I love the features, like how it tells you approximately how much longer some symptoms of withdrawal will take, watching my acorn sprout eventually into a tree, the community, and how easy it is to journal. The journal feature has been especially helpful with my mindfulness and seeing my patterns of what makes me upset and how I cope so I can change. I’d give the app 10/5 stars if I could. Great job to the developer! I’m very thankful.

Get the Plus Version
This app is very useful and helps so much with keeping your motivation to quit. It’s so awesome to see the counter go up, no matter how slow you think it is. Getting the upgraded version is awesome bc it tracks your withdraw symptoms (if you smoked enough to earn yourself some) and it seems accurate. I no longer have night sweats as it says I shouldn’t. I can’t wait to watch the rest of my symptoms vanish. If you have an issue with how frequently you’re using weed, check this app out and keep it on your phone until you’re ready to make the move to clarity and stability :) can’t thank this developer enough.

Bitter Sweet
I love the grounded app. It makes quitting so much easier when you know there are others experiencing the same thing. It’s amazingly accurate on your journey to quitting smoking. I’ve had grounded about two years and the only complaint would be having to pay for extra features. The goal of the app is to help those on the journey of quitting smoking, having to pay for the extra amenities is a bit eccentric. The “community” feature for example was very helpful and comforting but is no longer accessible without payment along with other very helpful features which takes away from those who can’t afford to pay monthly/yearly.

Locked out of the app after upgrading
I had found this free app to be very useful and decided to upgrade for $1.99. Right after purchasing, I was locked out of the app and unable to log in. I still had my nightly notification to check-in, but was still unable to get into the app. Very disappointed! After contacting the developer of the app, all has been fixed. I want to mention that the developer was extremely responsive, kind, and lovely to work with. I will continue to use, and recommend this very useful app. Highly recommend.

Love the concept
I love the concept of this. I was looking for an app like this to help me quit and it’s pretty good aside from a couple things: When logging entries, I cannot seem to find a way to track things accurately. When asking how much is smoked: I don’t know how much of an ounce I smoke when I sit down to smoke in one session. But I can tell you how long that ounce lasts and for some reason it won’t let me log it that way. I don’t want to measure my consumption units by bowls, that makes no sense since bowls vary greatly in size. If I was able to log “x amount a week” and then specified how much I spent on that amount, it would make tracking a lot simpler. I also wish there was “taper” setting, since not everyone quits cold-turkey. I also noticed a lot of the app seems “broken” in that it doesn’t let you click things that should be able to be clicked. Also, I think that adding a “journal” to it where you can record entries as you go, would be awesome. Overall, it’s a super useful app and an amazing idea. However, there are a lot of improvements that could be done.

Great but needs some improvements
L o v e this app!! Love the community, the facts, the achievements, everything! It needs some minor fixes so that everything works as intended. For example, I can’t follow anybody (iOS) so I don’t have anybody on my timeline. You are not notified when someone replies to your comment or viceversa, you can’t see all posts from a user. Little things like that. Other than that, I would give it a 5 star! Such a good tool to help many of us out there. Feels like you have a community of friends who get what you’re going through and motivate you to keep going (as you do them)

Great app!
I really like this app! I find myself checking it everyday and it keeps me on track. I enjoy the fact that you grow a tree and I’m committed to making my tree grow big and strong. Lots of good information on here as well. Give it a try! My only problem is I sometimes forget to check in, it used to remind me daily but doesn’t do that anymore. But even if I don’t check in it still keeps track of my days clean and how much $$$ saved, I like that part very much!

Functional and useful
This app does exactly what it says, and does it well. However, I do have one small complaint. If I try to click on the app’s health page, I get a pop up for the premium service. I don’t really mind the pop up, you gotta make money some how, but once it’s there I can’t get rid of it without resetting the app. I can dismiss it, but it just pops up again, and it won’t let me return to the home page or any other for that matter. Sorry for the lengthy complaint. I really do like this app and use it every day, but I couldn’t cut the complaint any shorter than that without losing important information.

Only “main usage”
Why only main usage? My habit was vapes & bowls with the cost split 50/50. With this app you can only track your main usage. Seems like a major flaw to me because I quit a month ago and wanted to see how much money I’ve saved (very simple math knowing how much I spent per month) but I can’t get it. Also who the hell knows how many puffs a day they took of their vape?! Do the math for me. I should not have had to try to calculate that out. Honestly I track this better in my head. Didn’t smoke for 2 months = saved 250$ & eliminated two 1 gram vapes from my life and two eighths. Why did you make it so difficult I deleted within 5 minutes of downloading. Why does this have so many positive reviews? Probably because there is no option I found that makes it easier.

Best I seen Awesome positive reinforcements helps you will your Goals
I would highly suggest this app especially if you’re looking for a aid to help you either cut down or cut out THC from your life. I’m old enough To remember sobriety or today T brakes would be analog experience pen and paper and bear knuckling or association with people that are like-minded. Today people have developed apps that give you a positive visual and audio Or in general a digital sobriety experience you can’t beat all this positive reinforce meant highly recommend this app and spend $ to support the developer.

Two words: THANK YOU
This is the first app I’ve found on my journey to stop smoking. I love how accountable it is and how it allows you to track that accountability with milestones like the timer and also watching your tree grow. In the past, I haven’t seen immediate results from not smoking, which made it harder to quit. Now when a craving comes up I’m super excited to go into my app verses fire up a spliff. Really interesting how it rewires your brains way of thinking when it comes to breaking the habit. Thanks for this!

What we all needed
I think we all know accountability with ourselves is hard, nearly impossible. I looked for days at videos, articles ect. Hoping to find something that met my needs and allowed me a free safe space to hold myself accountable. The ONLY thing I can say is that I wish the app had notifications/reminders. “Go you! You’ve stayed grounded for 2 1/2 days!” A slight lack of encouragement but boy does this app give you everything you need to hold yourself accountable.

Best app EVER for tracking/regulating weed consumption
Grounded has been the best app I’ve found for regulating your weed consumption, whether you want to take a t break, cut back a bit or quit entirely, this is the app to get - the resources they have are amazing for understanding withdrawal symptoms and for testing clean on drug tests, this app was clearly developed by people who know the ins and outs of smoking weed, no judgements, totally preferencial based, but whatever you’re trying to do with your weed consumption, this app is an incredible help

I’ve been smoking everyday for the past 5 years and recently decided that I was done and wanted a new version of my life. I love the support and encouragement I’m receiving from others and I find so much joy in supporting and encouraging others who are on the same journey! Thank you Grounded for existing!!! ☺️

Triggers
It seems to me that quote triggers“ are more like things that trigger you rather than emotions. For example, when I prepare a bath, I think it would be nice to get home now. So when I go through the list of “triggers“ I don’t see anything like that. Just icons of emotions. It doesn’t seem to quite fit. I realize that someone would have to type in their specific trigger. you could not list all the possible triggers. So I guess you could say“How are you feeling” rather than “triggers”

Tolerance Breaks
Its a great app for tolerance breaks, i don’t believe in quitting consumption of cannabis. There are too many benefits and very few drawbacks and i say this objectively. You must find a balance just like all things for your cannabis consumption, cannabis can only help. Now back this app review, i take a 48 hr tolerance breaks every 7 days and this app has proven very useful and allowed me to not concern myself with how long i have between tolerance breaks and hopping back on a plane.

Grounded, yet Elevated
Grounded has been an absolute game-changer for me on my journey to sobriety & away from cannabis dependence. The app's intuitive interface and personalized features make staying on track incredibly manageable and motivating. Watching your acorn sprout and grow the longer you are sober is a nice little touch and great way to symbolize your growth. The resources, including coping strategies and mindfulness exercises, have been invaluable in navigating cravings and tough moments. I highly recommend the Grounded app to anyone seeking a supportive and effective tool on their path to sobriety. Strength comes from within, not from a substance. You don't need marijuana to find your resilience, joy, or peace – it's all already within you, waiting to be discovered and embraced.

Great app, helps so much
I love this app! It is so helpful. I used it to help me quit last year and it’s worth the money to go ahead and buy premium as it tells you how long you’ll have withdrawal symptoms in each category. It was a huge motivator when you’d see that a symptom like nausea was going to be over by 3 days in. Very accurate too. I got back on wagon for a bit but have started my process of getting clean for holidays so Thanks!

Best app for quitting smoking
Very helpful, gives you access to weed saved to the gram, as well as money saved, depending on how many grams you buy and for how much money. Ensures you are able to express rough patches throughout the quitting process, while letting you know that it’s fine to have road bumps during the process, as long as you are making progress. Great app!

Incredibly Grateful
Incredibly grateful for the knowledge & wisdom this app has provided. When coming to the realization that weed is not a viable or sustainable solution to managing anxiety and stress, it is important to educate ourselves with scientific data on the broader effects and challenges accompanied by chronic use or abuse and the impact weed has on our body, mind & soul. THANK YOU GROUNDED for educating, supporting and helping to ground those aspiring to rise above an addictive relationship with weed ☮️

Best app for recovery
4 years ago, almost to this day, I was in the worst position of my life. I quit weed due to the catastrophic experience that I experienced one night. Great Lil App!
This is a neat app. I just wish I was able to correctly calculate my vaping habits cuz the how much money I’ve saved it off a bit. Other than that I wish they would add ‘sleep’ to the selection of things you use to not smoke. Sleep is a big one in the beginning for most. Also maybe more of a diary 📔 type section to record how we are truly feeling on some days when you go to check-in. Thank you for helping and inspiring me to quit cuz I like seeing the achievements! Maybe if they sent out an alert 🚨that said you haven’t vaped in 1 month would be very encouraging for me to continue not to. A+ for the thought and effort put into this.

Tolerance breaks have been so difficult for me in the past. I got the health stats with the subscription, and with that plus the free features like checking in and labeling your moods, it makes the tolerance break into a game where you learn about what is happening to you through withdrawal and address it head on, instead of caving on day one. This app keeps you grounded!!!

15 plus years of smoking . I would always catch myself quitting for a few days then going right back to it due to side effects . Advice
Great app! Love the daily checkins, the stats about money saved are super motivating. By best advice is to NOT spend the extra cash to get the health stats. While interesting, the progress through symptoms are different for everyone and by a couple weeks in everything is at 100% and there is no information about benefits of recovery beyond that, so it was kind of a waste.

Having your own scale at home is a great addition to this app. It has helped me so much to stop smoking as much as i previously did. Keeping track and being reminded of progress is a great thing and necessary to succeed moderating, quitting or simply keeping track of your consumption. This app does those three things perfectly. 5 stars.
