This is pretty good for everyone but also would be good for teens it’s very positive and every time you achieve something like a certain amount of time without SH it tell you how good your doing and you can journal down your day and keep track and at the beginning you but the reason you wanted to try to stop and it reminds you and if you have urges it has many ideas to help cope and breathing exercises to help with anxiety it also has a button to review you day and you put out of ten how hard it was that day and how many urges you have and if you did SH and it has a pledge where you press that button to pledge (promise) you won’t SH that day, the timer shows how long you’ve been clean and if you need you can buy a counselor and if your thinking about suicide or if your having a crisis it provide a button in the setting area with the 988 number and if you wanna keep this app private you can put a password to enter every time you e meter it and for the premium app you can enable Face ID but overall this app is pretty great and better then others

Go-To app right here, but…
Hello! So, let me start off with great notes. This has been my go to app for whenever I feel that I can’t really keep up with my thoughts & urges. I love it. I would recommend this app; However.. the advertisements for ‘premium’ isn’t cool. It’s the very first thing you see the minute you open this app, and I find that a bit.. insensitive, I guess? I don’t mean to sound like I’m offended by it, though, I don’t see why we need to pay just to be able to have more outlets for help. I wouldn’t mind it, of course, but this advertisement shows EVERY TIME you open the app. Maybe if it was more of a one-time pop up, then you could buy it somewhere in the app itself, I’d like that a bit more. But this ad shows up each time and it’s really annoying. It’s also very sad, especially for those that just want to cope freely without needing to pay for such support. Now, I’m not saying that this app isn’t good enough!!! I love it. It’s helped a lot; given the fact that I’m very young & can’t exactly reach out comfortably, without parents knowing. But, all in all, I would recommend. It’s just the advertisements that really get me. Anyways, thank you for reading. I’m proud of you, don’t give up, have a great day/night! <3

super affective
I had a self harm addiction for a year and a half before i tried to get better the first time. the app i was using previously was very negative when you relapsed. it would make me not want to even open the app anymore. so i had to struggle with sh every day until 60 days ago. 60 days ago exactly, i decided to get clean and when looking for an app to help me keep track i wasn’t sure i could trust these apps. this app has many meditations, coping strategies, distractions so you don’t sh, a journal where you can put in n entry every day. i also like that this app is very positive, when you relapse they tell you things like relapse is part of the journey, you will try again and succeed or something like that. it also gives you daily encouraging messages when you pledge for the day and review your day.

Fantastic resource!!
This the best self harm app I’ve ever seen. I see how much consideration and thought was put into every part and I’m honestly at a loss. I’m really not just saying this. I love that you can disable and enable whatever features you’re interested in whenever you want. I love how many feelings you can pick from when you are having an urge, and how the feelings are categorized. I love how many thoughtful strategies there are. I love the name and how it emphasizes the idea of harm reduction, but isn’t overt. I love how private the app is especially with the password setting enabled. It’s really good stuff! Overall, this app is stellar. Wow. As a person who is super passionate about mental health, works in mental health, and has struggled with self harm...this app has totally got me jazzed lol. I will definitely be referring people to this app if they would be interested in something like this! :D

100 days
I’ve had many mental struggles for a long time throughout my life. I was first recommended this app by my therapist and have been using it for a long time since. It’s helpful in panic and when dealing with urges. I started out expecting the app to fix everything for me, without actually putting in the effort myself. I didn’t actually try to resist my urges so the app wasn’t much help at first. I’ve since began putting in the effort and work as well and while this app doesn’t automatically fix everything, it’s been a great help to me throughout my journey. I’m glad to say that I’m almost at 100 day sh free and it’s incredible to think I’ve come this far from being unable to go five days without it. Edit: I am now at 250 days clean. It’s been a struggle but we’re getting there.

Extremely helpful
For anyone struggling with sh I would 1000% recommend this app, it is an amazing resource and every aspect of it is extremely thought out, my favorite part is the password feature that gives you the opportunity to make it a little more private, as a teenager who’s parents check their phone this has given me a little bit of privacy that I really needed, the positive reinforcement and milestones are something I really look forward to on my rough days, the journal and urge feature make it much easier when it is time to review how I have been doing with my therapist, I recommended it to her and since then she now recommends it to all of her sh struggling clients, 10/10 would recommend!! An amazing app for your easy days and an even better app for your hard days!!

Surprisingly helpful and in depth
I’m still learning all of this apps features, but using it honestly and seeing the times and days I’m triggered along with the journals I write each of those days is actually amazing. It makes it very easy to track your progress and what factors may be contributing to your harm. I personally use this for addiction purposes, and the exercises they provide have been very valuable to me. I’m on the free version of this app and find it helpful, It seems that the full version could be very useful as well, and I don’t usually think that. I appreciate how easy the format is, how encouraging the notes are, and how accessible the features are for the free version as well. Thank you for developing this.

Helps me sort my feelings (helpful)
This app hasnt really done anything to stop me from committing, but it does help me keep track of my feelings, and know how long ive been clean, which is enough for me. I really like the encouraging massages when you relapse :) As a lot of people have mentioned its annoying that it promotes premium every time you open the app, but the pros outweigh the cons. My friend recommended this app and im really glad she did, because its helping me sort what kind of feelings im having when i get my urges, and therefore helping me find alternative coping mechanisms that go with the feelings im having. Angry SH is going to need a different coping method then sad SH, and it’s helping me figure it out :))

Help Is Here❤️
This year‘s been a rough year and I’ve had many times where I wanted to just end my life and not be here anymore and my teacher mentioned this app to me and it kinda helps me. it gives you ideas to calm yourself down or to like get that urge out of you, so you don’t do it so far I am 18 days clean of not hurting myself, and I am very proud of myself and I’m sure my friends are too. and sometimes this app may not help people but I encourage you to reach out to someone talk or family members and talk about what’s going on and try to just do everything you can to not hurt yourself because people are here that love you and you deserve to be here.❤️

Reminders
I’ve struggled with SH for a very long time. It’s taken on different forms over the years, mostly to be concealed a lot easier. I‘be done a ton of CBT therapy and it hasn’t really helped since I can’t access those skills when I’m in an episode. I was looking for an app to support me on my journey to a healthier life, and it has been really helpful as a reminder that I’m trying to do better. I like the “urge” button and that I can rate the intensity (a tool from REBT) and even write about it. I also like the daily pop ups for every achievement. I feel like it could have more for education and writing prompts would be sweet, but it’s a good addition to a plan

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
this helps me so much, they don’t make quitting sound like an “easy task” like i’ve seen people do. They know how hard it is which is refreshing. it reminds you of your goal and why you want to quit. It gives you achievements for how long you haven’t done it, which gives me a feeling of hope and pride about how far i’ve come. it has great coping mechanisms and ways to calm down. it helps so much. i could go on and on about how this app helps. its “how long you haven’t done it” and “how long you can last” are amazing and doesn’t make me feel bad at all. to the maker of this app: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!o(^▽^)o

Why is the app not free?
Hi. I’m a 12 year old girl who has anxiety and depression and ADHD. I’m 9 days clean. I’m happy it’s not 17+ because I really need the help when I’m home. But there are some things I’m wondering about. This app helps a little more then some of the others, but I don’t understand why you have to pay to get help. Kids like me struggling don’t have that kind of money. And this is someone’s life we’re talking about here, why should they have to pay to get help? I’m in therapy but I only go once a week and I need and outlet to go to when I have urges again. I get that you need to make money but if you need money you could make other apps and keep the self care free. Just saying.

So Far has been very helpful
I've have struggled with self harm and anxiety for years and I relapsed into self harm after being clean for years recently. The app is nice, it allows me to write my thoughts down and to go back and see my progress; the breathing prompts were so helpful when I would have a panic attack and it doesn't “throw a fit” if you relapse or forget to pledge. It actually feels like a tool thats supposed to help. Currently I am am over 2 weeks clean and I just want to say to anyone who reads this that if you are struggling, it's okay. You are doing great and I'm proud of you.

Best app!!
I got this app around late 2022 to early 2023 and seeing myself get better was the best thing ever, I keep track on how good I’m doing, of course it was more than the app I had to do it myself with my own mindset but watching myself get better with how long I was clean and all the coping techniques they had on the app helped so much! Love the app, I do think there should be no money needed (premium) to help someone mentally, to help them cope, etc, if it’s gonna be premium take it off the app or make it free some people get an app for help and someone they need more than just breathing or anything💜

IT IS A GREAT APP
I give it a 5 stars but most of the breathing exercises cost you 7.99 each month and I can pay it but some people might not be able to do they might not have access the the exercises that they need. But overall it helps with stress, self harm, anxiety, and more. I would suggest buying the VIP pack if you can but if you can’t that’s ok too. But I highly recommend getting this app because it has everything. If you have a urge you can press the urge button and it tracks how u were through out the day and you journal and it’s just such a great app.

Genuinely works
If you believe reviews or not just try it. I was doing poorly but I think this genuinely helps if you want to get better. :) Who ever made this app is a awesome person helping so many people. I never write reviews because I’m only a teen who doesn't like writing public things, but I think this was important because people who like me want to get better but don’t want other peoples involvement it works well. Thanks. The encouraging things it says may seem cheesy at first but I think they help with if you don’t get told you are doing well often.

Self harm app to help u out.!
This is a great app it’s helped me ever since I started to want to stop i down loaded it and I seen that it has a journal that u can write in if you don’t like to talk to ppl and it counts the days you have been self harm free. This app helps me thru every day I write every day and I’ve noticed that u can tell when your getting better. Also! They have a counselor thing that u can pay for if you want. But this is a great app to use when u are in need for some help bc this app is so motivated and helps a lot. Try it out!😁😁

Amazing app and service
I used this app frequently during quarantine and it was very helpful for me. I’ve recovered from my depression now, and happier than ever. About a month ago I was trying to get back into my account bc I wanted to see how long it’s been but I had forgotten the password. I emailed the developers and later I’m back into my account!! It’s been 354 days, 18 hours, and 17 minutes, almost a year! Don’t give up, you can recover even if it really doesn’t feel like it <3. Best wishes on your journey, and tysm for getting me back in

Extremely helpful!!
i love this. I’ve only had it for about 2 days. it’s very helpful. It makes u pledge not to hurt yourself every morning and u can review your day at night, or whenever you want. when you press the “urge” button, it asks you how you feel and then based off that it gives you a crap ton of suggestions for things you can do instead of self harm. if your on the fence about getting this app, i’d say you should go for it. no hidden fees or anything, it’s completely free. give it a try :) best of luck, friend.

Some things
Good app don’t really like how there’s a premium version I get you have to make money but like some ppl are still really young and dependent on their parents and don’t have a job yet because they’re not old enough and such and would really benefit from the premium version more then you know. And then having to ask their parents to get them the premium version may possibly start an argument that just makes the adolescent feel much worse so maybe I’m not sure maybe there’s something that y’all can do that can help those people out.

GET THIS APP.
So I’ve been struggling with self harm since November. I had been trying lots of ways to stop my self harm and I think that making a commitment to myself through this app has been really helpful. Obviously, I know that just saying you’re not going to self harm doesn’t make it easy. But there’s an urge button that has soo many different coping skills. I’ve used this app for almost 2 months and am now 1 month “clean” (is that the right word to use?). If you are struggling, definitely try out this app

Amazing… just one thing
I’ll make this as short as I can. I’ve been struggling with SH for years now. For almost all my life I’ve felt lost and hopeless, thinking my SH had taken control of me. I’ve just started using the app and already I’m feeling seen. This is my rock when talking to people doesn’t feel like an option. With all that said, I think it’s difficult when to get better help you have to pay a lot. We should not have to pay for support, at least not as much as they’re suggesting we pay. All that aside, this app is very helpful and I’m so grateful.

I wish this existed when I was younger
This is an app I wish I could have had as a teen. I haven’t self harmed in several years but recent events have dug up some old traumas for me and so I’ve been giving this a try to help curb those thoughts. To anyone reading this things may not get better but your outlook on the situation can and you’re stronger than you let yourself believe. It can be really hard sometimes but you matter and someone out there loves you and cares about you.

Working so far, slight improvement
I love this app! I’m on my 3 rd day and today is my first self harm free day despite having 5 urges. But I noticed one problem… if you tap on a date before your started it’s greyed out. But u can edit it. I didn’t hit save because i did do self harm the day before I started and from it I got a self harm free day… only way to remove the achievement is to restart. But that would mean so much work to get exactly where I am now in it. I don’t want that extra achievement bc I feel like I didn’t earn it. If u can help fix this it would be great! Thanks! 🙃❤️‍🩹

Really helpful but you have to pay for premium
I wish I could rate it 4.5 stars, great app and quite helpful. It’s helped me with a lot of urges to cut myself, but for a premium version you have to pay which is annoying and kind of frustrating as this is an app for something kind of essential. I understand that they have to make money somehow, but it would be nice if you had to pay for certain colors of the apps and not meditations that could be really helpful. Really good other wise though and I wish I could give it 4.5 stars.

Simple, but extraordinary.
My favorite part is the little personal notes you write that pop up when you pledge or have an urge. In those moments when others might not have the right words you can leave them for yourself. It’s such a small thing but I read my reason every morning and feel determined. And when I have an urge I can read what I know I need to hear that second. I love this app. Thank you and bless the souls of those who made it. You make the world brighter.

Great
The only problem I have is where it asks how long it has been since the last time....well it ends at day 1,000 days. I have surpased 2,000 days. * Update so I found a way to contact the app designer and it was an awsome experience. The designer contacted me back, was very nice. If I could change the star rating to a 10 I would. I have never been conacted before on my ideas much less someone who was happy that I was beyond their time allowance. Now I have all 2,066 days accounted for. And I am still advocating for this app.

Very good app
This app is definitely the best app I have had so far! It got recommended by a friend so I decided to try it and it started off rough but then it started to get better and each day it would ask me how was your day? How many urges did you have and so on? I thought it was stupid at first and then it actually started to hop you can journal you can take like exercises and stuff and it gives you options instead of journaling, which is kind of nice.

One of the most effective apps
Hi. I’ve been suffering from self harm and depression for as long as I can remember. Nothing helped, my therapist, pep talks, my family, friends, and even medicine. I was stuck in bed all day, imagining life without me. Until I came across this app. It supported me, and even when I couldn’t hold back the urge and self harmed, it just gave me quotes like “mistakes happen”, which I really appreciate. I’m 3 days clean now. I love every part of this app. I totally recommend it.

I’ve been struggling with self harm since the 6th grade and I never had any resources that didn’t make me feel guilty, I had “I Am Sober” for awhile, but the “inspirational quotes” never felt genuine; this app does. Not only does it give you resources to talk to counsellors, it gives you places to vent, journal, and keeps a tracker for how long you’ve been clean. I am almost 3 years clean, and now that I have downloaded this app, I think I will make it a lot longer.

I mean it works
I don’t really use it the app to be honest (terribly sorry) but when I do it’s good but for the most part it helps because when I think of harming myself I remember how guilty I would feel for restarting the timer and I don’t know why but then I don’t so I don’t have to restart the timer. Obviously this isn’t how the app is meant to help but it still helps+if you want to get it to help how it’s supposed to it would work. 👍

It’s helped a lot but.
This app has helped me quite a bit with how much I self harm. The exercises are great and calming. Well, the ones I can use anyways. You shouldn’t have to buy anything on an app that is supposed to help you. I mean yes, if people really need the help they with buy it but many people don’t have the extra money or literally cannot ask a loved one to buy it for them. Other than that it is a great app. At LEAST lower the price for premium to like, 20-30 dollars a year. Thank you.

I’ve been going on for five days without self harm, this app has gotten me through a lot of stressful moments. If it’s writing if it’s taking a breath telling me things that will help me in the moment or sometimes of more need help since me to people who I can call and it helped a lot. I really think this app is good if you’re dealing with what I’m dealing with, depression and anxiety self harm, I’m struggling and this app is getting me through it Thank you so much.

I think it’s better then other apps but…
I think this is definitely better then apps like I am sober. Do to the fact I can also review at the end of the day and track my urges. However I think it’s odd to make it where you have to pay for certain things. I get they do it cause they don’t wanna have ads. However it’s kinda sad their trying to make money on peoples self harm. It’s also odd that it’s 12+, like are you not allowed to quit self harming until the age of 12?

It’s great so far
I’ve only had it for a day -and compared to other apps in the same field it is a lot better. There seem to be no ads and the incentive to pay for premium or a tip is more so that it helps and is actually trying to be there rather then one that is trying to sell your data for money. It also has helped a little in that day of usage. If your struggling with self harm, I’d recommend this app.

My thoughts on the app
It’s a great app it really does help but it’s not fair that I can’t have the full experience because I need premium. Am only 15 and this app helped a little but am sorry it’s just not for me I get more mad by the day just because it says sorry you need premium and am poor, I am hiding it from my parents, and am only 15, I have no job. What am saying is the creators should try a little harder to put themselves in our shoes or at least mine. I had a better app than this one a year ago, it helped me be clean for 2 years but I forgot the app name because my old phone had broke. Great app but it’s just not for me.

I honestly think this a very good app to use P.S you can review your day

The premium keeps popping up.
I been using the app since August and for no reason the app keeps suggesting that I should use premium even though I don’t want it. It’s bugging me the most. What if I want to press the urge button because I want to sh but I accidentally pressed the button leading me to get the premium. If u have any suggestions to help me not see the premium popping up every single time I open the app, please tell me. I love the app but I’m giving it 3 stars because the premium keeps popping up whenever I open the app.

It makes u feel more excitement when u go however many days without self harming but it also can make you feel better when u do. It has daily reviews to review on your day and has a pledge button that will have u pledge not to harm yourself. The meditations and stuff does help and just in general it is a really amazing app. :)

This is well and all, but...
This app is nice, but I've not got premium. I think it's weird you need to pay for some of the premium things, but I don't care I just wanted the tracker anyways. But the app pushes the premium in your face every time you open the app. To the point where I open my app and ready my thumb to close the premium screen. I wish there was a way to turn this off because it's really disheartening to see twice a day.

Good app but i have one BIG issue with it
ok so this app works. It really does. I love it, i’ve used it before. my only thing is why isn’t it free??? Like yes the developers need to be paid for their labor but for the children who need help with their mental health and don’t have a credit card it’s not great. All of those exercises would be wonderful for them to learn self regulation and i think that it’s important to have resources readily available for our youth.

I really love this app and how it makes being self harm free not so heavy and important. I can try my hardest and it gives me resources. It has motivational stuff and you can journal which I found really nice. I will just jot down what worried or made me happy that day. I will say every time you open the app its going to give you an add for their premium which can get really annoying.

Heartless
This thing doesn’t care about you. Maybe it would actually be helpful if you could use the things you have to pay for. I get that people need to make money, but couldn’t you have just done adds? It’s horrible, making people pay for help. Not everyone can afford it, and there are plenty of minors who need their parents to do it for them, which ruined the whole point of privacy. I still use it just to keep track, but it’s useless for actually helping. Shame on whoever made this thing.

Grate app
As a teen/tween (12-13) that struggled/struggles with sh this app helps a ton, it helps with the urges and keeps them to a minimum/gets rid of them all together.
