Cute, Fun, Easy to play!

I love this game! I am an Animal Crossing fan and this is similar in alot of ways. I've been playing this for a couple months now before I did a review. There are little bugs/glitches that come up but they are pretty quick to send out an update to fix the issues. It does seem like they pay attention to reviews and what people are saying because they take care of the major complaints often. I love relaxing before bed and playing. I also love that I can connect my Xbox remote and play on my MacBook! I recommend playing that way if you can. Small things like a couple more cabins in resort area would be nice. I have to move the neighbors who have moved in so that the visitors who require to be in the resort can come visit. lack of strawberry crates, cinnamon, and a couple other items does sometimes get a little irritating. I've also opened all the coral chests but still get coral keys. I also get WAY TO MANY dye pouches. I really don't use or want them and have a ton. Maybe being able to sell items like the dye pouches for currency would be nice so then we could get the items we do need/want. Overall, GREAT job on this game!! I wish there were more games like this available on Apple. I will absolutley be a long time fan!

Read this plssss

First of all I love this game. It’s so fun with all the characters and how u can unlock them in the initial quests. But their are a couple of bugs and things that don’t make any sense. 1. Sometimes I get randomly kicked out of the app and it didn’t use to happen a lot but know it is really frequent and it is the WORST. 2. Dear Daniel comes to the cabin but he doesn’t have any quests when he’s there so I can’t get my own cabin and I was so excited for that. 3. It takes a while to get the little twin stars and big challenges and top hat and the island spirit. I just wish u would’ve made the island mystery quests easier to get. 4. It takes a VERY long time to level up my friends. I took me a year just to get My Melody. It would be so much better if u could make that easier. 5. The place behind Pochacco would make a lot more sense if u could actually go in. 6. Mandated multiplayer is the worse EVER. I was so excited when there was another spooky mansion quest because I love kuromi and all the spooky outfits but im not allowed to play with other people so I can’t unlock that stuff and it’s the worst. 7. In my flower patch I had a bunch of open spots and now they’re all filled with the same orange flowers. And the fertilizer doesn’t work at all. There are some things I don’t like but this game is by far the best I’ve ever played. Just pls fix the bugs. Sorry this was long. ;)

OMG!!! so good!!!

OK, this game is so good, you know what, good isn’t even a good word. Awesome is better…… back to the point. There is almost, nothing wrong with this game. You might ask, why did you say almost? Well, sometimes all the cute characters are talking, and yes, they are cute…. It freezes up that’s OK cause it barely happens and what I mean by barely, is it only happened two times. Which is not a lot like at all if you love hello Kitty, maybe her friends to, if you love adventures in games, solving new mysteries, solving puzzles, meeting, new friends, breathtaking events, and never ending quests, decorating, exploring, then, this is absolutely the game for you! What if there’s ads in my ask? What if you have to pay? What if it’s not like it is in the ads? Well, all those questions, are gonna be answered, there are no ads, it’s completely free, and it’s exactly like it is in the ads, unlike other games, this one, completely changes, my life. OK maybe not completely but still! I never get bored of it………oh! Did I mention, it doesn’t need Wi-Fi? I really don’t know if I did, but just do me a favor. Hit that download button. Some things could change

Loving this game a lot so far. However, there are some things that I think should be changed or tweaked. First would be the fishing mechanic. The idea is wonderful and I love that fishing is even included, but it is so time consuming and difficult to fish. It’s nearly impossible to keep the arrow in the green, and that makes it take longer to reel the fish in. Secondly, this game doesn’t explain things very well. For example, there are certain quests that have to be completed before you can complete a different quest. This is quite overwhelming because you will end up with 3-4 quests going at once, and no indication as to where you should start. Like right now, Ive been hunting for 2 iron ingots for a couple days now, so that I can make a snorkel and finally complete the Nature Reserve quest, which Im half way through but stuck, because you need to know deep diving in order to complete it. Had I known that, I wouldn’t have started the Nature Reserve quest. There’s just a lot going on in this game and I think it could be more simplified, or at least give us a store to buy iron ingots. Because I have not found iron ingots in any way the game says. Also the map could use some work. It’s very hard to know where you’re going or supposed to go because you have no control over the camera. That is all, still a really awesome game though.

Mandatory Multiplayer In Order To Progress

If you plan on playing this game solo, don’t have friends or don’t want to be bothered while playing after work or school. This isn’t for you. The game is pretty fun & well paced. Until you quickly get bombarded with multiplayer quests that literally makes the main quests & storyline impossible to complete and even traps some of the characters if you don’t play multiplayer. There is a bar on the top of the screen that continuously pops up, telling you to invite more players (a quest in the game that stop a character from even moving around the island if you don’t invite anyone). Even when I turn off the “track quest” feature, the bar will NOT stop popping up. The game dev, Chelsea, was a complete jerk about it in discord when multiple players are asking for more options for solo players to progress because we PAY THE SAME money as multiplayer people. It wouldn’t be as bad if the game was at least free so it wouldn’t be hard to find someone to play with you online. But it’s NOT free & regardless, some people just want to relax and play a game without being bothered after a long day. Moral of the story: You may get a good 2 days of fun from playing this game before you lose interest because it’s evident that you won’t be able to progress without multiplayer. So if you still decide to play after reading this, don’t get TOO invested because you will be stuck at some point, if you don’t use multiplayer.

Amazing... at first. Quickly became very difficult to progress.

I played this game daily, sometimes for hours, for the first 2 weeks it was out. There was a never ending amount of quests to do, critters to find, places to explore. However, I'm at a point now where the game has become more of a chore of daily "to-dos" with very little pay off. Leveling up characters is impossibly hard once they get past a certain level. The items you need to give them (3 or 4 heart items) require resources that are IMPOSSIBLE to find. Cinna-bloom and coral milk seem to be the hardest to come by. In a one week time period where I played for 2 hours a day I was able to gather only 3 of each. They simply ARE NOT SPAWNING daily. Additionally, the crafting sequence needs to be updated to make it faster or allow for multiple items to be crafted at once. The time it takes me to make three "3 heart" gifts when I have all the base level ingredients is at least 10 minutes. And I have to do that for 17 chracters daily to make sure I'm leveling up those friendships! (With the new update there are even more characters to craft gifts for!) That's over 170 minutes daily game time (that's nearly 3 hours) just for gathering/crafting. I'm not asking for super fast friendship gains, but you have got to make some of these processes easier to accomplish.

The most amazing game I have ever played.

Truly and honestly, this game is so good. I love how this game has so many sanrio characters, yet the gameplay itself is very entertaining. Not only is it open world, but it’s cozy and so much fun. The graphics in this game are incredible. There’s so many things to collect and even once you’re done with a lot of quests, the flower aspect of this game is fun and takes up a lot of time, and helps players stay motivated to log in daily. The events they have very often are also so great, you can collect super cute clothing and furniture. There is also a mysterious storyline that is interesting and fun. There are updates often, with new things to do. I don’t think I will ever get bored of this game. If you’re ambitious and love collection, open world, hello kitty and other sanrio characters, and having a GREAT time, please download this game. I’ve never stayed loyal to a game as much as this one. The developers also keep in touch with players via discord and listen to how to make improvements every time. I have pretty much nothing bad to say about this game. The community in this game is amazing as well. I love it very much!!

It was fun until…

I really enjoyed playing this game until they updated to be more inclusive of multiple players which, to me, is a bummer since not only I don’t have anyone to play with me, the people that tried it never worked, always an error. So, there are some quests that I cannot complete. I was ok with it, having some characters stuck at one location because of it, I thought I could keep doing my thing and just ignore those quests; however, they prioritize those quests, so it is a bit of a pain to learn what my individual quests are for the day, week etc, I have to mark that I don’t want to track those quests EVERY TIME! Than another update and we got more characters to visit but they all require a cabin on seaside resort that by then were mostly occupied by the other characters. Had to ask a permanent resident to leave, she never came back even with at least two other options of cabin with all requirements and extra for ++++. Last, but not least, every time I try to fix a cabin for the new visitors the game freezes and I have to reload the game. There is nothing I can do to finish setting it up because it simply doesn’t work. It is getting really frustrating I might quit, playing a lot less that is for sure…

Multiplayer 😡

Update: this game use to be fun now it’s getting boring. No more stories you have to wait forever, it’s constant collect and cook things. It’s no adventure, it’s take a while to get guest to stay on the island. What are yall doing? I had to resort to the Disney game because they have multiple quest for different characters. Please fix this cause now when I go in the app I leave once I don’t see anything new. No I don’t want to make 10 deserts and collect random stuff! Ive been playing this game since it’s been out. This game use to be really fun but now you have all these lil quest which are similar to daily quest of just collecting stuff or cooking a million things at once. Where is the adventure as it was when we first started, where are the stories that will keep us engaged, where are the challenges? Don’t ruin it with unnecessary stuff to past the time. Bring back stories man! And stop adding more multiplayer stuff, make it an option. Give us the option to play it without having to use multiplayer. OLD REVIEW BELOW: I love the game it’s cute and fun on ur downtime but I DO NOT WANT TO GO ON BLOGS TO TRY AND FIND SOMEONE TO PLAY WITH ME JUST SO I CAN MOVE ON! This should be an option, like who thought this was a good idea? Let people choose multiplayer instead! And it’s a hassle just to have them join and then you have to reach out to a total stranger again. Please fix this!

Almost Perfect

This game is so cute. I downloaded it because I was bored I didn’t expect to actually enjoy it. You get to decorate cabin’s, forage around for materials to build and cook with. Also it has a progressive story line as you friendships grow with in game characters. The events are really nice too you can get a lot of seasonal furniture, clothes and decorations that way. Now I do have a suggestion if you could add curtains and rugs for the cabins that would be great. Two more things. This game needs to be available on more platforms. For some of us it is very hard to find someone to team up with. Which brings me to my only other thing I dislike about this game. Why would you force people to play together if they don’t want to?? If you don’t play with others the game gets weird like some in game characters will always say they are busy when clearly they are not. Overall this is very good game. I have played almost since it first launched and I hope I continue to enjoy it in the future.

So fun, just some bugs

Hello kitty island adventures is a fun game, it took me months to finish, but like any game, it has some ups and down’s, I’ll start with the ups! 1. Customization, you can unlock color pallets, get new clothes, and customize your character! 2. Characters, this game has a lot of nice characters, such as, pompompurin, cinnamoroll, hello kitty, my melody, kuromi, retsuko, and many more! They give you fun quests and free items when you level up there friendship! 3. Quests, the quests are so fun! They last a long time and you get friendship and items from doing them! Now for the downs, 1, it’s only on Apple Arcade, only people who pay for a subscription can play it, it would go viral on the Nintendo switch, 2. Bugs/glitches, there’s alot of times where I get stuck in random places and it does NOT teleport me out like it normally does, ex) I was in rocks and got stuck, normally the game teleported you out, that time it didn’t, I had to go out of the game and back in. overall, it’s a amazing game! I would suggest you play it, but if you cancel your Apple Arcade subscription, your account gets deleted. Other than all the bugs and glitches the game is perfectly fine.

Over heat

I really enjoy the game. There are just a few problems. First the OVER HEAT and BATTERY DRAIN when playing the game. I can play for about 3 minutes and my phone begins to over heat and then it drains my battery life. Not good when you want people to stay on the app for longer times. Second is the gift boxes, it should just all be in one box and that way we only have that one box to open instead of opening the boxes according to the hearts. Third, the glitches that occur when it begins to rain or start fall. Fourth, your character slows down quite a bit when you do the island challenges. That doesn’t seem fair. Fifth, you should have the permanent visitors interact more. Like during Dance Hall days they should go and dance too and have them interact more with our character too like having them pick the flowers or help in finding items also give the visitors a better wardrobe. Overall I love the game I would recommend it to many if you can fix the OVER HEAT & BATTERY DRAIN issues. I have other games and none do anything like that to my phone. My daughter also plays the game and her phone so over heats. That is a major issue.

Best game ever!

Okay, so this game only came out about a month ago, very new. I’m actually surprised, there aren’t as many bugs as I expected. If you could even call them “fixes”, I would like to see more added to this game to make the gameplay a little different. -I would love if when you get past level 10 or 12 you could be able to gift more than 3 gifts per day. - Being able to craft and bake multiple items at once, this would make the process way quicker, since I have almost all the 3 tagged items known on the crafting table and oven/other baking supplies. -If there could be another quest board that shows all the possible quests you can get. This is not really necessary, but I kinda want to see if I missed any echo conch quests or other things. -Make the Yummy Furniture easier to obtain, for example I have to make 20 milk breads to get a mirror. Holy! That’s a lot. I wish I didn’t have to make as much food to craft it. That’s basically all! (I think)

Can’t catch cloud island critters

This is my go to calm down game, the story line is fun, I love that visitors can permanently stay, and I love that there’s so many different recipes to make. I also love catching critters with my net. Only place I struggle with catching anything is on cloud island. When the butterflies or dragons get almost close enough they start glitching out in the opposite direction. I know they’re supposed to be harder to catch but this is impossible. It would be nice if there were more strawberry crates, and it would be nice if I got some actually cool/new things from the coral chests. I spend a lot of time gathering trash to recycle only to have the chests spit something common out. Getting easy to find materials or basic food from the most difficult to open chests in the game feels like a waste of time, especially since coral keys aren’t always dropped after recycling. Those are my only complaints. The game is beautiful, the crafting and opening boxes update was a huge quality of life upgrade, so I’m hoping that these issues are also fixable.

Love this game!!

(Spoiler Alert, spoilers are in this review) This is an amazing game! I love everything about it! My fav part of the game is probably the Merry Meadows! However, I do have some suggestions… 1. The multiplayer quests. As LoveMeNay pointed out, you cannot progress with the game unless you do these. Also (just my opinion here), it gets pretty annoying to have to click through a whole dialogue if I want to ask Keroppi for gift ideas or Kuromi to change back into her witch outfit. Maybe add some sort of feature for people who want to play solo so they can still complete the quest? 2. The Photo Ops. I was trying to take an underwater photo with Kuromi, Hello Kitty, and My Melody, but I can’t find the Photo Op. Maybe add some sort of marker like you have for the other things (the Oven, Soda Machine, etc., etc.), but for the Photo Ops? 3. The Rockadoodlers. This is the thing that annoys me the most. I’m trying to complete the Rockadoodler Roundup quest at the moment, and I’ve been at it for weeks. And how many Rockadoodlers did I find? 2. 2 Rockadoodlers. I am furious, because when I first found Gemstone Mountain, there were about 5 Rockadoodlers every day. And now, it takes me days to find 1 Rockadoodler. Maybe make Rockadoodlers less rare? If you have read this far, thank you SO much for paying attention. I mean all of this with respect, and I know how hard each and every person works on this game. I appreciate all of you! LOVE IT, similar to animal crossing

First of all, I’m a huge animal crossing fan and this game feels so much like a mixture of animal crossing and harry potter legacy. completing quests are fun and the idea of increasing friendships is a good addition! you have to gather materials to craft certain items and can only craft items you have plans for. love that i do not have an inventory limit, like animal crossing. or i haven’t resched it yet. i love the cross over of all the characters. this game is more than what i was expecting and i haven’t had glitches like many other people claim. i love that the map is HUGE. not something you get often with mobile games. downside is only being able to gift 3 times a day per islander. you can still progress in the game, however it will take longer especially in the beginning, with the gifting feature. i found it only to be useful bc i am highly addicted to this game and it cuts off my play time, since the game runs off real time. lastly, i haven’t been offered to pay real money in this game for any add ons and I LOVE THAT.

It would be cool if the game maker made a food island like cloud island but food all around and ingredients so some food and ingredients can be on the floor and be found and different types of bugs like actual butter butterflies and lots of food theme stuff and you can bake all the foods that are in the game and add new ones like burgers and burritos or tacos and you can buy foods by getting stuff from the place you make it like toasted almonds for pizza and make your own foods like if you put pudding and pizza it will be pudding pizza and you can eat the food yourself too. it would be cool if the game maker made actual pets for the player like how hello kitty has catty and the pets could be like dogs and cats and bunnies and you can get them by going to the vet or catch them like critters but you need to unlock a quest with hello kitty or my melody to get it you will unlock it at good friend or best friend level with them then you can get a special net to get pets and that’s all

Great game with minor annoyances

I love this game! Feels a lot like ACNH. The main complaint I have is that you don’t get your own home. Literally everyone else that you help out get their own place in the form of shops but first it don’t make sense that only visitors get their own homes. Kinda like vacation homes. You and all the characters that are on the island to stay don’t have their own actual houses. Just places of business. That seriously makes no sense. All the house decorating that was shown in the trailers are all for the vacation homes you fix up for visitors. That is so so dumb! I’m sorry if that’s mean but it’s true. Please please please add a personal housing system soon. That’s one of the things that drew me to this game! Though it was gonna be more like ACNH. That’s what the trailers made it look like. Also the ability to change camera angles like in most games like this would be nice too. 😁 Other than those two things it’s a great game! I’m still gonna continue to play but I’d really love a housing system for our characters!

LOVE the game…. however

I truly adore this game so far. I’ve clocked over 16 hours in just a week. i love sanrio and i love acnh so this game is perfect for me. my ONLY complaint so far after playing for so long is the crafting sequence being so long. when you have to make one item in order to make another item and you have to make three of those to give to someone it can be very time consuming. i think this has an easy fix though! just make it so you can craft multiple of the same item. for example, when i have to craft three gizmos one at a time and then craft three blank books, one at a time, then finally i can craft three ancient books, one at a time, to give to Chococat. it’s very very time consuming. if i could just craft three gizmos all at once or three blank books all at once i think this would solve this issue! other than that being annoying when i have to make gifts, the game is awesome!

I love this game however it’s buggy.

I love Hello Kitty Adventures! The game is charming and a delight to play with its adorable graphics and engaging storyline. However, I have encountered significant bugs, especially when trying to craft items. Although the game offers multiple ways to craft items, such as using woodblocks, fabric, books, and other materials, it currently only allows crafting with one specific item instead of utilizing the various items I have in my inventory. When I first started playing, I experienced a bug that prevented me from completing the "gift friend" quest. I decided to restart the game since I was still in the beginning stages, and it seemed like a minor inconvenience. Now that I've advanced much further, the crafting bug has become a major issue, and it's frustrating to deal with, given how much I enjoy the rest of the game. Despite these technical issues, I still find myself coming back to play because of the overall delightful experience. I hope the developers can address these bugs soon to enhance the gameplay and make crafting more functional and enjoyable.

Overrated

The only reason everyone is so crazy about this game is because of Hello Kitty. There’s actually a lot wrong w the game, it’s very glitchy and laggy. Only giving 3 gifts a day to get quests is insane since the game is pretty much useless to play in the beginning. There’s no way to just leave the mine area, it gave me a headache going around all those turns for so long. Also the visitors, I set up the cabin and Dear Daniel came one time, and I never met his character :( I was sad about that. You get to a certain point in the game where you literally can’t do anything because your friendship with the characters isn’t high enough, it’s honestly annoying since Apple Arcade games are supposed to be just playable. Also there’s certain pieces of furniture in the houses, once you set it down you can’t move it again. Like the lamps, I set all the lamps down and I haven’t been able to move them, since I got the game. Very glitchy and not very well done, seems rushed and sloppy, like they literally just threw some stuff together and said “if we market this as Hello Kitty they won’t think we’re doing a Walmart version of Animal Crossing.”

Very cute!

For an Animal Crossing clone so obvious that even someone that’s barely played the game could clock it, it’s quite chatming. Really hits the spot for collectibles, crafting, and exploration. It’s cute, cozy, and you know, I enjoy the fact that there isn’t a stitch of monetization. My biggest complaint is that the platforming elements are terrible. They’re not impossible but the camera is on the tanky side and sometimes it can be hard to get an idea of where your character is going to land. Combined with the inconsistency of touch screen controls, you find yourself grateful for the fact that your character can’t die. Events are pretty uninteresting, the mini games are mid, and gifting can be exhausting as you unlock more and more characters. I will say, the game is starting to feel rote and I can’t imagine missing it that much once my Arcade trial is done. Not sure if I’d like it without the Sanrio theming. It’s pleasant enough, though, and makes me a bit wistful for what mobile gaming could be if not for the shovelware and Gashapon waifu hellscape it’s become.

April, 13, 24 Ok so I found this game thinking it would have a lot of mini games inside it, but it was a game where you unlock new places, discover challenges and have a lot of fun playing it. So this game is very good for adventures and puzzles. So if you are that type of person, you should play. I would give this game a thumbs up because it can entertain you when you are bored. Warning. Spoiler don’t read. (Although, I wish you could make finding the seeds in the merry meadow, easier). You can give gifts and talk to new people. You can decorate cabins and make them to visitor’s liking. I am not going to tell you the places that you unlock cause that could be a spoiler. Discover challenges by going to little flower things and earn a trophy at the end. There are these little caves that make you go into a puzzle. Have a lot of fun playing!😀😀😀😀😀!

Crashing issues since most recent update

I absolutely love this game! I love the Sanrio franchise, and think the game is pretty well put together! The only issues I’m having are the advancement of the main storyline being hindered by the limitations of gifting only 3 items per character per day, and the issue of constant lagging and crashing the game altogether. This has only started happening since the most recent update and I’m hoping there’s a fix for this soon, as I’ve been avoiding playing since the update due the lag and the game just outright crashing when I just completed a quest so it didn’t have time to register that I had completed the quest, thus having to reopen the app and redo the quest I had already completed. I’ve already attempted uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if that fixed the issue, but it did not. All in all, I think it’s a great game, just wish it were easier to progress and just play the game, especially for folks who want to binge the game rather have to check in every day.

Really fun game but glitches

I have really enjoyed this game so far for the cute characters and cute quests. There are two issues I have come across as far as glitches are concerned. The recovery of all the lost luggage is now glitched in my game. I picked up Chococat’s lost luggage but in the midst of Badtz-Maru’s quest where he wanted a book to add to his collection I accidentally chose Chococat’s lost luggage and Badtz-Maru accepted it instead of saying it wasn’t his luggage. Now I can’t get Chococat’s lost luggage and now can’t complete that overall quest. The second issue is the game constantly gets stuck if I use the net while walking and it will freeze the walking capability where I can’t control it and my character just keeps moving endlessly in any particular direction. I have to close the game and reopen quite a bit which is annoying. Hopefully the creator’s will see this and fix the above issues so that I can complete quests and not have a stuck character walking aimlessly.

About the potion hut

I really love this game but there’s one problem that confuse me the only potion is the mundane potion I mix all the ingredients and I get mundane potion 😒 like bruh I mix all them ingredients just for mundane potion there are different kinds but there are more ingredients that make mundane potion then the other potions in the game I unlocked the potion hut just to have more ingredients for mundane potion I’m very disappointed 😔 in this this is one of my favorite games I still like the game but the mundane potion is just wasting ingredients but let’s get to the part why I love this game you don’t need Wi-Fi to play and I play for hours and it has different characters like unicorns cats they just added sheeps and a green house to plant and you can travel across the whole Island you start on a Island and in the beginning you have to jump off a plane but you have these balloons to break your fall just hold the screen and the balloons will break your fall and that is my review bye ✌️

Get this game right now!

I don’t get how people say this game is “oVeRaTeD” and “gLiTcHy”, because this game is amazing and I’ve almost completed it and I’ve had not 1 glitch so far. My sister said that this game is awesome and that I should give it a try. So I did, and now I’m addicted! Out of all the games I have on this phone, this one is my favorite. Basically you have to restore the island and become good friends with the characters, and to do that you have to give them gifts! The gameplay is AWESOME! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME! I have been a Sanrio fan for a couple of years now, and I have some Sanrio merch too. The game Feels almost exactly like animal crossing, but all the characters are all super duper cute little characters :3 !! I also Am A big fan of tropical, and warm places, and We are literally on an island! And another very good thing about this game, is that there are ZERO adds!! Probably about 99.9% of the games I have on my phone have Adds every 50 seconds! And another really nice thing I like about the game, Is being able to customize your character! And once you make more friendships with the characters in the game, and Give them presents, ect, they give you daily rewards! And I would DEFINITELY, HIGHLY, recommend this to Sanrio fans, or if you are just looking for a fun relaxing game, with no adds to play! 🌸✨💖

The Truth! By a streamer!

So think of it like animal crossing but hello kitty. You can play without multiplayer to a point, but you can also not trigger keroppi. Keroppi is the trigger for multiplayer. I’ve been playing for about 10 days and I’m loving it. I’m taking my time. The game is good at making you wait and learn I’ve figured out. And it’s a kinda trust the process kinda thing. There are some bugs and tweaks but it comes out cross platform in 2025 so maybe those things will be fixed. The game is always getting updated so don’t knock it until you try it. Multiplayer doesn’t allow you to not play, it’ll just make some quests harder. But you can still do nearly everything by yourself. All in all it’s relaxing usually and mindless. I play for relaxation at the end of my workday. I highly recommend as it’s pretty straight forward and so much to do. I never run out of things to do. Give it a try!

LOVE IT BUT..

okay, i started playing this game when it first came out . it's very cute and fun, and i like the graphics and gameplay. but i have a few suggestions. 1) stamina apple tree - sorry, but i feel like once we open a new place with the power crystals we need a stamina apple. like i wanna get to the top of mount hothead and my stamina is booty. or like a quest or something but i don't really wanna keep looking for slices all of the time . 2) own house to decorate - look, i know that u needed something that differentiates you from animal crossing so nentendo doesn't sue you but i feel like every game on the appstore like this has an feature where you can make your own home . maybe if you like made it so you had to gather materials to build like one wall or one floor would make it more interesting. 3) emotes outside of camera - so if im filming a tiktok on how to do something in the game, maybe i wanna make a lil emote at the start! i do really like ur emotes and the reactions. things about this i really love are the controls and the easy tool wheel. the original diolauge and the vibe checks. i will be playing this for a long time but maybe make some more of these accessible. please like if u agree. TL;DR i want an stamina apple tree when we use power crystals,a house do decorate, and emotes not in the camera app. please like if u agree byeee

Used to hate this game, now I’m as addicted to it as I am to sugar

At first, when I was playing this game, I had no idea what to do or how to get past the starting island. But something was compelling me to stay, to keep playing. Was it Kuromi, my fave Sanrio? Was it curiosity as to the story of TOPHAT? I did not know. So, without any flippers, I had to do parkour in order to get into the swamp of horrors. I hopped across lillypads and made precarious jumps from rock to rock. And then….there I was, on solid ground, kuromi standing before me. And that was when the progress REALLY ramped up. Fast travel, finding the flippers, finding Resuko, fixing the spooky attractions, finally getting snorkels, It all happened so fast that in a matter of days I’ve unlocked 5 out of the 7 areas, and the remaining two are post game only (I believe). I used to delete and redownload this game again and again to make space and then “give it another chance”. Now, I’ve made a vow that I shall NEVER delete this game again. I’ve grown a concerning infatuation with this world I’m immersed in. All I need to do is give a few more people gifts for friendship, For a few more days, And then I shall finally restore all the power crystals to their proper place. TOPHAT, here I come. TLDR: 10/10 can’t stop playing

Very fun and cute! (a couple annoying aspects tho)

I just started playing this game a few days ago and enjoy it very much. However, there are a few annoying problems; 1. when playing on a macbook/non-touchscreen laptop, you cannot move around using the keyboard, and only with the trackpad or mouse, which is really annoying. 2. the way your character jumps is really annoying because you don't jump very high, and when you try to run and jump, it is very clunky and short. There was this one cave where you had to jump on blocks towards a surface, and I spent 10 minutes falling off the blocks because my character could not jump far enough :( also when I was playing the game where you had to collect flowers I couldn't jump across the obstacles because my jumps were way too short :((((((( but it's a cute game nonetheless!

the best game on mobile, in my opinion

(and i’ve played stardew. 😉) i am autistic and this game has actually become my go-to for when i feel dysregulated. it’s amazing. the sound effects, music, and visuals are all so incredibly pleasing to my senses, and when combined with gameplay, it is a very, very soothing place for my brain. it is also doing wonders for the anxiety and depression i struggle with off and on. it’s a very lovely game; i can’t say enough good things about it. my *only* hitch with it is that i find the pacing of the game (unlocking quests and growing your friendships) to be JUST a tince too slow. this might be due to my play style somehow, though, without my realizing it. all around, a fabulous game. truly as close to perfect as i think you can get, given all the different types of brains that are surely playing it! 🌈💛

Just a few suggestions:)

Where do I start?? This game is so, so, so good and has won my heart completely. From the graphics' quality to the numerous tasks you do, this game is truly captivating. The scenery is gorgeous, and though there are a few lags and bugs, but for a game that came out only 4 days ago, its a 10/10. It's such a calming app that I feel better after playing. I do have a few suggestions, on the other hand. First, make your daily gifts more. It's so easy to get the gifts done in a few seconds, and the tasks mainly revolve around leveling up. My other suggestion is: make the friendship flowers easier to get!! Since you only get them twice a week, it is nearly impossible to get many tasks done in a day. Otherwise, this game is phenomenal! (p.s. thanks for adding pompompurin!!!!)

Amazing game, overheats phone

I could not love this game more, truly cannot say anything negative about the game itself, painfully excited for the upcoming update with new characters and areas to explore. The only reason that I’ve rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is that is majorly overheats my phone fairly shortly after opening the app, badly enough that I can’t even charge my phone if I’ve been playing for longer than half an hour (it also drains my battery pretty quickly, but that doesn’t bother me if I’m able to charge it) I’m not sure if it’s something that developers are actually able to do anything about, or if it’s just something to do with the size of the game/the amount of power it takes to run it? But I would love to see that change so I’m able to play for the hours on end that I want to play without worrying about my phone.

Omg

This is the best mobile game of all time and it’s not even close. I would buy this on console it holds up with animal crossing. Something it has against animal crossing is not only the big open world with a sense of exploration and adventure, but also there’s a lot less awaiting around with slow load times and stuff like that. This game takes on multiple genres and nails them all in a really cute polished way. I just really hope it’s preserved well and doesn’t eventually go away forever seen as it’s an Apple Arcade exclusive and stuff. Really a shame it’s stuck to a subscription, I understand that that’s why it’s able to be such high quality without micro-transactions, but I’m just scared of the distant future for this game. I want this quality project to be preserved properly.

LOVE HELLO KITTY, but it can do better

Although I had to restart the game because I accidentally fixed a hang gliding machines, and apparently had to wait for the quest to fix it, and couldn’t get past that point; However, after restarting the game I enjoyed it a lot more. One way to make the game MUCH MORE EFFICIENT is by making multiple crafting materials such as baked goods, sodas, tools, etc. Why do we have to make one item and wait HOURSSSSSS for the finished product. I need them instant, and multiple of them. It frustrates me when I want to make make multiple gifts and have to click on each item individual and wait each time for about 5 seconds to receive the product. Ok cool more people play the game longer, but it’s a hassle and this needs to be fixed ASAP!!!!!!! I have too much inventory that needs to be sized down to only gifts, but I don’t want to spend allllllll dayyyyyyyyy crafting products.

Good but is extremely frustrating

The game was so fun but some quests don’t have directions that are easy to understand. You also need to know how to read to play this game which some times can be annoying because my little sister doesn’t know how to read yet. When you change your characters clothes your character will start floating in light purple sky which is so annoying. Whenever you try multiplayer mode it doesn’t work and is so frustrating because in level 5 trying multiplayer mode is a quest and not everyone has someone to play with Strawberry crates are limited so you can’t open enough cabins for visitors. Your character doesn’t get enough gifts because you have to give it to Hello Kitty, tuxedo Sam, Kuromi and all the others. Don’t get this game if you get easily frustrated like me but if you are a calm person who can work through it than try this game Bye! : ) :D

Why I love this game!

There are alot of reasons I like this game I’ll share 6 tho, 1.this game is Sanrio themed! It’s very tropical, (which I love!) 2.it has all your favorite characters! Kuromi, my melody, Cinnamorll,pochaco, etc! 3.it is the best Sanrio hello kitty game I have ever played <3 so much to explore and learn! You can even customize a house for more characters which is so fun. 4. This game is not only a fun game but you can play with friends who play this game! I recommend it for those Sanrio fans out there ;) 5.you can customize your character like your very own Sanrio oc! Mines named sunheart! Fun game but a few problems

I enjoy playing this game a lot. Hello kitty island adventure is one of my favorite games, it’s similar to Animal Crossing New Horizons. However, there are some issues in this game. One issue is that on my island I can’t use the Dye center in Tuxedosam’s shop even though I already did the quest. It works perfectly when I join someone else in multiplayer. Another problem is that when I play multiplayer at first the game is good but after some time it starts getting bugs. For example the game starts lagging, the island visitor loses their controls (can’t do anything in the game for some time), and some of the items in the game were disappearing. I hope these issues can be fixed soon. Update: The Dye center was fixed! Now I can use it but, multiplayer is still a bit laggy and a few items still disappear.

So as a mom I love this game the game is not for me but it is for my 9 kids living without this game would be horrible. But there is a rule at my house. Number one if you want to play this game you have to do 1 chore then you can play it. It might be a little bit strict but the kids never do their chores so then I do their chores . But I’m having a baby somewhere around next week. So I’m having ten kids 😭. Life is so hard with ten kids but the harder you work the more of a happy life you have. It is a fact look it up. So I like this game for me too because it gives me something to do while the kids are asleep or at school or playing outside. Or on a run with my husband. Good Game but…😅

This game is very calming and fun to play 😀. I enjoy the storyline and the beautiful 🤩 backgrounds of each portion of the island 🏝️. I recommend this game a lot I don’t know if anyone read my other review but I’d really appreciate it if someone could answer it. I need a hint for finding the last bubble wand map piece chest… I used the guide but it lead me to a rocky wall in the mines. How the heck am I supposed to pass through a wall. 🤨😑 A little help here…still waiting for a reply or response…Oh and also: Developers, please 🙏 don’t keep Pekkle in the mines where I have to travel just to give him a gift. 🎁 (This started during the bubble wand quest.) Honestly at this point I don’t play this game as often as I used to. I’m stuck, so I kind of just quit. The last time I think I played was two months ago 😰. … now it’s like 6 but good game anyways.

BEST GAME ON APPLE ARCADE

(i'm a real person btw!!!) This game is genuinely one of the best mobile games I have ever played. I am not someone who enjoys playing video games, but Hello Kitty Island Adventure is the exception. Unlike many mobile games, HKIA is updated regularly with new additions at least once per month. There is always something to do so you are never bored, the quests and stories are very engaging & cute, and discovering the newest additions is so exciting! I love LOVE love love this game! Since the last update, I have discovered something odd... When walking by pink flowers, it lets me water them despite already having bloomed + received the item. Weird! Also, I have not seen chocolate coins respawning daily. It will be 1-2 additional days until I see them by the sunken pirate ship again.

Hi I think the game is amazing and that it’s great but I think for the things like multiplayer that it should be able to have more than one person join the host. Another thing I suggest although the game is great is that it shouldn’t be limited on how many gifts we give one of the characters. Back to the multiplayer question I think that for people like me when you have multiple friends or family members that play with you I think it would be better if you could make it to where they can all join one person, and as for the gifts I just feel it would be better but I would prefer the friends and multiplayer thing most. Totally Addictive!

I really love this game! But there are some downsides to it. Happy to deliver presents to everyone every day and ask them the same things twice, gets kinda old to get things you want. Why 2 things to get them to find something for you? The recycling center takes forever now because you can’t sort it like before. Fishing takes forever especially all over the island. Why not let Badtz-Maru sell more than 1 comic a day? If My Melody can, why can’t he? A hint or something for the crane game, as it’s almost impossible! Overall I really do love it but somethings do get tedious. I love that you add new tasks every now and then as it continues to make the game fun! Crafting Idea… One thing it would be nice to do is to craft strawberry crates! Also, a net… to collect more fishes to have an easier chance to get fish furniture.

Try this game!!!! (you won’t regret it)

This game is fun, keeping you entertained for HOURS ( I’m not kidding I have played this game in a day for four hours) it’s fun and I love the little details and how well made and but together this game is. My one complaint is that to do quests you either have to do another quest or have a specific friend level with one of the characters (which I’m fine with) but what I don’t like about it is that I have to wait another day if I want to do another quest, because I have given the character all their daily gifts Besides my complaints this game really is fun and addictive. It’s a good game for long roadtrips or plane rides because it doesn’t need WiFi, and there are zero adds, and I know everyone hates adds. That’s it. I definitely recommend this game and think you should try it out ❤️

I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!!!!

i’m 23 and this game is so fun to me because it’s both relaxing with a reasonable amount of challenging but also it only lets you do so much in a day before you have to put your device down and wait until tomorrow, some people might complain about that but it helps me so much with having a healthy relationship with gaming! the rewards are great & it doesn’t take a lot of grinding to achieve things. this is really good for me as a person who struggles with time management and prone to addictions, i can focus on my studies & extracurriculars really well then do cozy stuff on the island for 2-ish hours max every day. also the developers are super responsive / helpful to us & chat with us on discord from time to time & it’s really fun to see them popping around

Addicting, amazing, and beautiful

This game is absolutely amazing! I went into it not expecting to much… but it’s insane how good it is. I’m surprised how in depth a phone game can be, it legit feels like a switch game or something bc of how much there is to it. You explore, do tasks, take photos, find caves etc. The lay out is WAY bigger than I expected (not a bad thing at all). Each island is so detailed and different. When I found the caves … I GASPED bc they were like a whole other map. I got lost in one of the caves and it took me longer than I’d like to admit to get out haha but I loved it bc there’s so much to look at and explore. I love that they included Retsko <3 she’s a girl boss and needs a vaykay! I also loved the twins appearance! If you love sanrio and cozy games like animal crossing then this game is for you!

Past Hello Kitty Games Remake (In the BEST way)

I’ve been an avid Hello Kitty lover for most of my childhood, and now as an adult it’s extremely nostalgic for me as one of the few things I cherish from being a kid. I can remember playing Hello Kitty; Big City Dreams and being amazed by the different rooms and how big the map was, I can remember loving Hello Kitty; Seasons and being so immersed with all the quests and games, Hello Kitty; Birthday Adventures was adorable and gave so much personality and life to the characters to me as a child, Happy Party With Hello Kitty and Friends was fun when I wanted something to do, and so many more. This game seems to pull a lot of aspects from all of these games and put them all together, and I really love that. This is an amazing, wonderful experience that adds another great game in the hello Kitty saga!

Great graphics, frustrating controls, slow gameplay

Overall, decent casual game with a number of frustrating—to the point of unplayable—issues. Like another user commented, progression is locked behind the number of gifts you are allowed to give each NPC per day, which for someone like myself who can loves to completely immerse into a new game, this progression block can be a big bummer. It’s a pretty simple game but the quests or tasks they have you do isn’t always very clear. My biggest complaint and the reason why I will most likely uninstall this game is the movement, directional control, and jumping—more specifically the lack of it. Moving around is slow; jumping slash floating is so frustrating; and you have no control on where you’re looking when you’re in motion. Overall, the cuteness does not make up for everything else this game lacks.
