I’m so shocked by how transformative it’s been
Despite the safeguards they have in place to avoid this very problem, I ended up purchasing a year-long subscription by accident. I’m so happy that I did. I was mostly interested in the ADHD and hormones module but had to complete 4 other modules before I had access to the rest. This kinda made me rush through the beginning because I wanted to see the rest of the library before the end of the trial period (though I had already failed so that ended up not mattering). The task avoidance module is what really sold me on the app, I learned so many things that I’m actually implementing (E.g., chunking, RAIN). It’s already changing the way I think (aim for 80% completion not 100% perfection). I’m genuinely excited to do my lesson every day. I took of a star for two—probably mutually exclusive—reasons: 1. Locking the library during the trial period is a turn off. I get it for people with little understanding of their ADHD, but there are certain things that I already knew this to wish I could’ve skipped. Though I think I picked the first 4. But I also understand why having all the modules available could be overwhelming (I’m experiencing this rn). 2. Even though I just said I didn’t like the prescribed module order, I wish there were like paths we could choose that would have a stack of modules to follow. Choosing what to focus on gets overwhelming.

Just What I Needed!!!
I came to this app through ADDitudes and I’m so glad I found it. This is just what I needed to learn how to get things done, stay on track at work, and feel better about myself. My coworkers have noticed an improvement and I’m getting more done after just two weeks of using Inflow daily. The modules are useful. I’m learning so much about what works, what doesn’t, and why. The live events are very informative and the live work group every weekday is amazing. I don’t completely understand why the work group works so well, but it has been a game changer when I’m struggling to get started or stay focused on a project I really don’t want to do. There is a cost, but it is well worth it to me and WAY cheaper than doing all of this with a coach, owing a ton in late fees because I forget to pay bills, or the risk of losing a job. I am 110% happy with this and it is already making noticeable improvements in my life. I have one thing I would like to see. If the developers are reading this, please consider making it a two week trial. I don’t think one week is enough time for most people to determine if this will work for them. I saw just enough that I was willing to pay for a month to see how it went, but there are a lot of people who need this that may still be hesitant after just one week. And thank you for the reminder when my trial was about to end!!!! It’s so easy for us ADHDers to forget things like that. That speaks volumes about intentions.

Some useful tools
Unless you are new to your diagnosis, this app will likely not have many tips, tools, or facts you don’t already know. However, I was asked to be included in the study right when I was in the middle of a really rough time (my routines & habits were all out of whack and I needed to rebuild them, I wasn’t getting anything done) and it really helped me get back on track. It’s a good reminder of the strategies available to you, and very good at being a gentle partner in developing habits — prods you just enough, and paces you, showing you that a little bit of work every day can make a difference. It stops the frustration of trying to fix everything in one day (which doesn’t work). I don’t think it can replace therapy, but if you can’t access therapy, this app could be a good more affordable alternative to getting the very basic info and strategies that any therapist will tell you about adhd. It seems like they are working on expanding content and community features, and I think that’s great — it seems to be done very thoughtfully. I’m not sure it’s something I would benefit from using constantly after the initial several weeks & getting on track, but I’d benefit from revisiting it when I’m off-track. PS: I have to say it— the app name, plus a pink icon that looks vaguely like a menstrual cup makes me think about periods every time.

Best Body Doubling sessions - why cancel them?
I finally found an app that works for me.. I tried a ton of things, body doubling discord, Study Together discord, setting up sessions with friends, having body doubling sessions with my ADHD coach. Was about to try Focusmate but there is such friction to setting up a session, and what if you get a weirdo. Then I found Inflow. My productivity doubled because of the body doubling sessions. I discontinued bc of the price, went back to finding and alternative, and then I caved and paid for a year (there’s a way to pay w/o paying for coaching). Aaah, finally my productivity increased again!!! I especially love the Tessa sessions, great for people on the West Coast. The timer is shared, you can be on or off camera. You state your goal and work with a timer for 25 mins on, 5 mins off. Then you update what you’ve done or comment if you catch yourself getting distracted. Others cheer you on and give helpful tips, including the lovely Tessa. There’s a sense of community. They aren’t well-advertised, so maybe not too many people don’t know about them. But people KEEP COMING BACK. There are regulars, and a sense of community. The only problem was that they didn’t have enough sessions and didn’t cover all the days. And then.. I hear that instead of having more zoom sessions, they’re discounting the ones I most love!! Please, Inflow, don’t do this. I guess I’ll have to find another alternative.

It’s definitely a good app
The way the app is structured makes it very ADHD user friendly, the information is good and the way it’s presented allows you to move through the program at your own pace. The lessons are informative and most importantly, the people that are behind this app all seem to have ADHD themselves and to me, that’s important. Nothing worse than having someone who doesn’t know what it feels like to have ADHD, tell you what you need to do in order to overcome obstacles associated with ADHD. I used to be a member awhile back and they used to have a message coaching feature that doesn’t seem to be there anymore so that is kind of disappointing. They also don’t seem to be doing as many webinars so I hope that picks up again because after you get through all the learning modules there isn’t much left to keep a person subscribing aside from the webinars and coaching. I highly recommend signing up for additional inflow 1:1 coaching. They brought the price down quite a bit so it’s a lot more affordable and the personal coaching is so so helpful.

SO helpful!!
I found inflow after being diagnosed AUDHD as an adult. I immediately dove into the modules, which not only were educational but extremely validating. They gave me language to characteristics about myself and have helped me develop life-changing coping strategies, habits, and supports. The body doubling sessions have been game-changing, and the community is super welcoming & caring. The app is created specifically for people with ADHD, which I love! The interface is clean and undistracting, the modules are brief (yet still full of helpful info), the font & paragraphs are easy to read, etc, etc. I’ve tried several other apps that claimed to be for ADHD, and it was clear they were just a general apps marketing themselves as such. They were awful & not helpful at all! Not the case with inflow! They also go above & beyond to remind you about cancelling your free trial (bc adhd) and offer a financial assistance program. I’m so impressed I haven’t heard of any other apps doing that! I could go on, but this is always way too long 😅 I couldn’t recommend inflow enough!!

The right direction! Great App
First, let me say that I will gladly pay the $95 price per year if the content continues to build in features and community. I have been using it for 3 days now and this content so far is mostly things that I know about ADHD and strategies for growth (just a great way to remind me of them when I forget). I like the way it adds structure to creating habits and is flexible with how many habits/tasks you work on at once. I like the prompts (my favorite feature). I like that the community, journal, challenges are all there and the presentation. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that this app is great right now, but can be so much greater if the developers take the 95 dollars per year's investment that I and many others are making and will make. To design a helpful app for our Adhd community. I will be keeping the app for a year and thanks for creating a great all with even greater potential. I will change my review and be willing to make suggestions on improvements if asked. Maybe add a suggestion box if not there currently.

Loved it… but no more speakers anymore?
I really loved everything about this app until they stopped doing virtual speaker events (focusing on different topics each time). Although I was never able to make it to the the live virtual events, I loved that the app would make the video for the speaker available so that I could watch it when I was able, or watch when I felt needed help with specific topics. I feel this app has so much potential, but without the virtual speaker recordings, I am not able to justify the price of the app anymore since the speakers were the tool that helped me most.

Need longer than a week trial
I definitely wish it were longer than a 1 week trial. It even tells you to try it for 2 weeks. And of course, I can’t remember where exactly it says that-shocker. I haven’t even gotten a full week of use bc I haven’t been able use it everyday. I have two baby boys, 1 and 2 1/2 years old. I don’t have a lot of free time with my phone. A few things I’ve read or learned in the app have been enlightening and helped some. But I can’t do every step of every module AND put everything that I’ve attempted to learn into practice in one week. The usage I’ve gotten has given me just enough to wish I could explore it a little longer but not even close to enough to pay that much for it. There are so many areas I haven’t had a chance to explore yet. I really appreciate what y’all are trying to do. And I understand the price is for the real life coach and all the tools and resources. But I definitely need longer than a week to determine if I want to commit to paying that price. I was really hopeful for this bc Im loosing my mind a little bit lately. 😳

The most information I’ve seen.
I got the free trial for inflow. I’m originally from a Spanish speaking country, I always had access to tons of physiologists and doctors growing up. However, even though my parents had a hard time with me most times nobody was able to tell them why I had such a hard time with “small” things or habits they tried to teach me. I would forget to do things often that they just couldn’t understand how to the point they thought I was ignoring their requests on purpose. When I finally realized that it was adhd and I talked to a physiologists on my adulthood about my suspicions, they just asked me a few questions and that was it. I was officially diagnosed. However, I never got any tips or tricks on how to manage my struggles with procrastination and just in general. After the free trial I was able to learn so much more about why I can’t get things done. I really wish I could afford the year fee so that I could learn more.

Don't be fooled like I was.
Before downloading to try it out there was a pop up stating that if anything happened and I forgot to cancel before the free trial was over, I would be refunded. It said something like, 'We understand having ADHD would make this really hard to remember, so we will refund you if you forget.' -- something to that effect. That is what pushed me into downloading. Of course I forgot to cancel the trial and it automatically signed me up for a yearlong subscription ($200). I reached out to support and mentioned the pop-up, casually saying thank you for the refund policy. In response the person told me I need to reach out to Apple first to ask for a refund. I'm currently waiting to hear back from Apple. THEN they will refund you only after you have received a no from Apple first. But here's the point. The company tries to imply upfront that they have a lenient refund policy BECAUSE they help people with ADHD. Instead, they make you go through the process of asking for a refund from Apple, which for someone with ADHD is another obstacle. What a sham! I went through with it because I was so enraged by the deceit but I know many others won't, and that they make money off this. Shameful.

Game changer
This is an amazing app with a lot of great resources in the modules. But the best parts are the live action components. You get a personal adhd coach which is powerful when you need specific help to navigate setbacks. But you also have access to group activities! These might sound weird but are GAMECHANGERS. Think co-working with others who have ADHD and who get it. We keep each other pushing and focused, and reminders to be kind to ourselves when it’s hard or we get stuck. Callie and the team are fabulous at this and truly helped turn the tide on my overwhelm and anxiety. I’ve gone from panic attacks daily to using my tools. I’m not such an angry and impulsive mom- though I am a work in progress. And the app has helped me help my kids navigate their neurodivergent brains too. Grateful isn’t the word. It’s been life saving. I recently was able to pull myself out of a burnout cycle. Before I had no clue what it was. I’m better because of this safe space. I’ve met so many great people and this community is invaluable. Go sign up. Don’t hesitate. It’s worth every penny if you have it, and if you don’t, reach out for financial support bc they have it! The test is accurate and it’s used to guide your modules which is amazing, but it’s the people who care and teach you to love yourself again l, and to set realistic markers for success that matter most of all. Do it. Get plugged in. You won’t regret it.

Customer Service and Content Lacking
I really wanted to love this app. I need it. However, as I got into my free trial, I noticed that the things that appealed to me most, like a coach, were left lacking badly. I go through the questions to match me with the right person, etc. There are only 2 coaches. One or the other. So all the hoopla about matching me to someone for me is not real. They don’t even have both sexes available as a coach. It’s one woman or the other woman. I emailed the Dr. Who was emailing me every few minutes about a session asking questions and got no response. Reached out to customer service and was told “ Unfortunately we do not have a male ADHD coach. If you are interested in coaching, please move forward with the options we have in the onboarding process. Thank you.” I responded that I took my trial over Thanksgiving and didn’t get to use it until we got back and wondered if I could get more time? No response. So I’m out. Great idea and concept that doesn’t seem to work or deliver on everything it says. And that’s sad because as I said, I need a program like this.

Critical Need for this App! Life changing..Make discount info explicit
I'm taking the time to provide you with feedback related to my experience with inflow. The only complaint I have is my coach was never available during my subscription so I missed out. I have suffered with ADHD my entire life but was not diagnosed until my late 20s. The negative self talk is ingrained and the app helped with that pertinent information. This app changed my life in a short time. My concern is that the access program and student discount information are not explicitly stated when you sign up. I fear that people who need the service may miss this opportunity. Also, financial challenges occur by happenstance especially with ADHDers. I am facing a financial hardship but I at one time had a paid subscription. Making the access program open for people in crisis might help. Maybe with the support of a qualified mental health professional or the like. Maybe a month at a discount or including information under access to help ADHDers learn to manage their finances. You have an amazing opportunity to change lives. Have you considered an ambassador program? I say this because I would suggest this app to everyone I know with ADHD. I am faculty at a university, and I believe me and our personalized learning center could promote this service. Nonetheless, I am thankful for the time I was able to participate.

Life upgrade
I know many are very well educated on life with ADHD. I like to think I am getting there too 😄. I was diagnosed 2 years ago at age of 37. I’ve been using this app for about 6 months now (on and off, of course 🤪). It is actually very easy to pick back up again wherever you left off, even if it’s been a few days or weeks (or months). Anyways, I have found the learning modules really valuable. I think you may too. While not every learning module lesson is directly applicable to me, many of them are. I find nuggets of wisdom that continue to improve my life each time I use it. Sometimes all I get is assurance that it’s ok to be kind and accepting to myself, and I need that too! The app also has a cool feature where you can time chunk work/breaks with a live group of people. This has been helpful on days when I’m not motivated to do anything at all. You can interact if you want to. Sometimes just having a common goal with people nearby (or virtually in this case) is all I need to stay on task. Finally, there’s also some community aspect where you can share your thoughts/struggles/tips for the day and people always respond with thoughtful or encouraging words. I love it! They charge about $20 a month for access to all this stuff and I think it’s worth every penny. Have I made a good enough case for you to try it (or maybe try it again)?

Highly effective and BRIEF CBT lessons proven to work
I’ve had ADHD long enough to understand most of the common struggles others like myself share. I am also all to familiar with the fact that the attributes are usually misunderstood by those with normal brains, often times causing us to have very low self esteem. (It’s all my fault, I’m forgetful and easily confused simply because I’m a jerk and not very smart). This app is a great reminder that you can forgive yourself for these issues. They are not things we have as a result of any character flaws. Our brains are documented physiologically different. CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) is one of the most overlooked but effective tools in dealing with mind management. This app emphasizes these therapies and prescribes very simple exercises that do help over time. But again, most importantly, forgive yourself. You are different and you are most certainly not alone. This app brings us together so we can learn from one another.

Game Changer
The Inflow app is a must have app for the ADHD brain. I’m a huge fan of CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and inflow has created a platform to not only teach this specific for ADHD, but has also created a community of people I can relate to who struggle in a similar way that I do, who are learning tools and techniques to deal with the different way our brains are wired. It’s a community where I feel seen and accepted. I have a coach inside the app who checks in with me and helps hold me accountable. There are “co-working” sessions that I can log into and work along with other people who are trying to get work done. The information in the different modules are hugely helpful! I love applying what I learn in the app to my life and seeing how these tools and techniques really can make a difference in the efficiency of my life in general. If you struggle with ADHD, download this app NOW! And I’ll see you inside :):)

Was not very helpful for me.
In the beginning it seemed like a good app but it was sooo much reading. For a lot of the “modules” the app reads the text for you but I felt very under-stimulated and no longer felt motivated after 2 days of just continuously reading and taking quizzes about what I read about over and over again. One thing I struggled with the most with ADHD is grade school and school settings and I noticed the trauma coming back of trying to keep up with readings and being tested on my “intelligence”. When I saw the add for this app, they had that AHDH friendly text advertised and I couldn’t figure out how to activate that feature. We also get personal coaches but mine flat out told me after just two days of using the app that she was going to be out of office for five whole days of my 7 day free trial. The feedback they were giving me also was not helpful as they only replied with validations that my feelings mattered rather than providing quality advice. My experience was very poor on my end unfortunately.

Assigned a Coach whether I wanted them or not.
I unfortunately didn’t get very far, the reason being that I do not like forced social interaction that I do not have the ability to opt out of. Though it’s cool coaches are available, I’m not particularly ready for one and forcing me into an interaction I didn’t want or ask for was jarring and extremely uncomfortable. And it felt rude to simply ignore the message but I also couldn’t find a space to opt out of coaching for now. If there is one and I simply missed it I’d be happy to give it a try again! But yeah that’s a hard pass for me. I enjoyed the one module I was able to start, the Organisation module. Would be interested in the CBT side of things without the coach being auto assigned and a chat already started for me. I appreciate the coach sending the first message but only if I had agreed to coaching to begin with instead of it being basically the second thing to do since joining the app. I just wanted the CBT stuff.

Great for Managing Your ADHD
So first off, I saw a review that said this is best from people who just got diagnosed. I’m going to disagree. I’m 30-years-old and I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was seven. I really took a lot away from this app. I rarely recommend buying apps, but this is worth the Investment. I have my master’s degree, a successful career as a technical recruiter, and a fiancé who is a lawyer. Despite all this, there’s still a lot I struggle with concerning my ADHD. This app has already helped me in areas I struggle in such as managing my emotions. It’s also helped me in areas in my life that I didn’t even know were a struggle due to ADHD. This app is one of the first tools I’ve actually found helpful for managing ADHD. For instance, I tried joining an ADHD support group on Facebook. I ended up leaving because I didn’t find I related well to what others who were posting in the group. Topics such as celebrating keep a job for two months straight for the first time in their lives or sharing how they’ve never been able to have a successful romantic relationship. I’m not looking down on those people, I just couldn’t relate to them. However, this app, I definitely feel that I can. ADHD looks different on everyone and I believe everyone with ADHD will find this app useful.

It’s good, but not what I expected
I’m going through a really hard period of struggle to focus and doing tasks. And even tho this app has the tools to help you with that, it’s not too friendly with the extreme struggle to read something that you may not be interested or you may but can’t find enough energy or willingness to do. I was gonna cancel my subscription because I had 48 hrs left of my free trial BUT IT WAS SO HARD TO FIND WHERE TO DO IT, as I didn’t find it, I got distracted by something and you know, to my brain a already started doing it so it was off of my to do list. Sadly it was only when i got the notification of my bank account that i remembered that I couldn’t find where to unsubscribe, therefore they charged my for a month, almost $50 bucks that I really needed it and I’m not even use in this app. I’ll strongly suggest to have the unsubscribe bottom right in the settings of the app and not only in the website, especially if you know that your customers struggle with adhd.

DONT DOWNLOAD UNLESS YOU WANT A PAID MEMBERSHIP
literally asks you to set up an account to only find out it’s a free one week trial and you have to pay afterwards…and it doesn’t even tell you the price when it asks you to continue. They just let you know that you don’t have to keep the app or you can cancel the membership. THEN if you don’t want to do the free trial you have to go an erase your account. *finds out it’s 200/yr* As an impulsive person, i cannot impulsively invest $200 a year towards an app. I was so hopeful that it was going to be affordable but just an app you have to pay A LOT of money for. The problem isn’t that they’re charging for their work. It’s that it’s so much money at once that it seems wildly unaffordable. I did read that they have programs to help financially but it all doesn’t sit right to me. I think it’s reasonable to assume that a vast majority of people aren’t going to pay $200 a year for an app they just downloaded 7 days ago and don’t even know if their impulses can keep up.

Life Changing- even for people without ADHD!
I’ve never been formally diagnosed with ADHD, although I suspect I might qualify. However, I think the lessons in this app are helpful for anyone! In the weeks since I’ve been using this app, I’ve become much more productive and focused as a stay-at-home/ homeschool mom. Our days are better organized and much less stressful! I’m able to effectively set goals and achieve them! I’m also learning about Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) and how to stop feeling so anxious that other people with judge me. This app is definitely life-changing and well worth the subscription! Lessons are short and sweet, but never skimp on quality advice. If you’re struggling with ADHD or even suspect you might be a *little* ADHD, I highly recommend Inflow!

Subscription process needs to change.
I like your app. I am a mom to several grown children/teens who would greatly benefit from your app. Your process of automatically charging after the 7 day trial needs to change. You sending reminder emails isn’t adequate for your audience. You know and I know the vast majority of people with ADHD have issues with automatic subscriptions. Do the right thing, ask for money to continue after the trial period is over instead of automatically charging it. You guys are obviously talented. How hard is it to pop up a button after the trial is over to say “if you’d like to continue please pay to subscribe”? This would be far more equitable to your target audience. Great work and a great product, now add in understanding and compassion for the adhd community you are trying to reach and you will be rockstars!

Coworking with inflow has been totally life changing!
I found this from Instagram and joined the inflow free trial out of curiosity with my recent ADHD diagnosis and can’t believe I have this amazing tool. The coworking sessions with Jennica and focus room with Callie have been absolutely life changing for me. As someone who works from home and owns my own business, I didn’t realize how helpful body doubling and having a community of people to track “to-dos” and celebrate “ta-das” with would be for me. I haven’t spent much time exploring the other tools in the app, but I can tell you the live events are worth every penny that I paid. I can’t even find the words to express my gratitude for their kindness and support in my ADHD journey.

Good app for adult ADHD
I tried out the 1-week trial and enjoyed it, though I’m not really a “true” ADHD person since I’m super organized and have good control over my emotions — just easily distracted. I was formally diagnosed with “sluggish cognitive tempo” for which there isn’t an app (and some cynical people even believe that SCT is a disorder “made up” to sell more psychotropic drugs. Ugh), but the symptoms somewhat overlap with ADHD so the Inflow modules are useful. Yes, the name “inflow” with the pink colors and the logo that almost looks like a period cup definitely reminds me of menstruation! Strange branding, but maybe there will be a future release that has more attractive graphic design and a stronger logo. Definitely a great resource, so I hope the app continues.

Awful ADHD helper
You know, in today’s ultra-monetized world, it’s hard to find something not tainted by the poison of mobile phone ads and useless currency. But to make me pay for my mental health with an outrageous fee of $17 a month, is pure and utter evil. When the toxicity of capitalized greed was just for mobile games and social media, that was fine. But when it spreads to therapy and mental health helpers, that should raise a few questions. If Wall Street expects me to pay $17 a month for something I have no control over, I won’t. This app says too bad to the people who can’t afford it, but need the help, leaving them rummage around the App Store for the help they need. What fat cat billionaire thinks people will pay $17 a month for help with a mental problem?! This app is such proof that there is evil in the world, I’m surprised the app developer isn’t Satan himself. This is ridiculous, and I will not stand for it! Don’t get this app.

I can’t afford to be a better me
I was diagnosed at a very young age, but my parents hid it from me for 30 years. I often wondered why I have never been able to focus at school or work, often get overwhelmed by chores or tasks other people seem to complete without even thinking about it… I was hoping this app would be a guide to help me improve the areas I struggle with most. I’m sick of always getting passed over for promotions and opportunities because I lack the skills my neuro-typical peers don’t have to pay $200/year to learn. I don’t have the budget flexibility that allows me to justify such a hefty fee every year just to try to level the playing field, but I still decided to give the free trial a go. So far I haven’t seen anything really helpful that made me think this app could be worth such a hefty fee, so I cancelled my subscription ASAP and plan to poke around on it for the remainder of my free trial. Maybe I can find something useful, but so far I’m not seeing anything that would make this app worth so much. I have lots of useful apps that help improve my life in different ways. All of which manage to keep their costs well under $75/year. Why does an app with such philanthropic claims have such a large price tag? Is this like the Hermès of self-improvement apps or something?

Thank You!!!
I recently downloaded this app and before my 1-week free trial was even up I made the commitment to and for myself for the New Year 2022, to sign up for the year. This is a very comprehensive program (which is SO MUCH more than simply an app), and even includes an option to work personally with an ADHD coach, which I just started doing. I’m a senior who has struggled my entire life with ADHD-related issues, and this program has already helped me in so many ways. Kudos to co-creator Dr. George Sachs and his wonderful team of facilitators. Highly recommended - give this as a gift to yourself &/ or to any loved ones who struggle with the various challenges presented by living with ADHD. Rev. Debby, MSW/ CSW

I tried to sign up for a scholarship to receive a membership for a year and was put on the wait list. Eventually they got back to me but had me take a quiz to see if I could participate in their research study in exchange for the membership but unfortunately I didn’t qualify after the screening. The survey said I would still receive the scholarship even though I didn’t qualify within a few weeks or months time but I never heard back from them again even after I reached out to customer service which was pretty disappointing. The scholarship doesn’t include the assigned adhd coach which during the free trial was super helpful but I was willing to try just the regular membership to help with my adhd traits.

Exactly what I was looking for
I went searching for an ADHD coaching app and was lucky to be accepted as a beta tester for Inflow. It’s friendly but not silly, and the modules and challenges all make sense. There’s good information but it’s not overwhelming, and because Dr. Sachs has ADHD himself he is able to frame things in a way that make a lot of sense. As someone else said, a lot of this information is not necessarily new, but it is contextualized and demystified in very helpful ways. The prompts to do challenges, answer community questions, and complete journal entries make it different from just reading a book—the small actionable ways to internalize the info make the app work for me.

Not sure
I tried out the trial period. Since it is based on daily learning the trial isn’t long enough to know if this is something that would actually help you. Plus with having adhd I only got to day 3 so no real progress. The three lessons I did review were enlightening but didn’t really provide much action items to go forward with. I would continue to try this out on a limited offering if one was available but the app wants you to either pay $200 outright for the year or $50 month which is STEAP. You can market that it’s cheaper than a single session all you want but insurance covers that for most people and that attention is truely more one on one and devoted to diving deeper into your issues where this is surface level.

Great ambition that just needs some polish
I love this app and it’s been a great stopgap while I go try and find a therapist. I’ll still probably continue when I’m in therapy just for the daily content and community. There are a few minor technical issues that could be fixed tho. The biggest one for me is a lack of audio controls when out of the app. I can’t pause or play the lessons unless I am directly in the app. This causes issues as I often listen to the lessons when on the bus, a seething where I don’t like to take out my phone unless needed. Thank you for the great work and I hope you get the success you deserve.

How much will this actually cost?
Add my voice to the chorus pointing out how predatory it is to entice those who struggle with organization into an expensive subscription before they can even try out the app... but, more interesting to me, check out the prices mentioned in the older reviews. "It's $40 a year!" ..."I can't believe it's $96 a year!" Right now the price they're offering me is up to $199 a year. If you do subscribe, who knows what higher price it's going to renew at? They can reply all they want about how hard-working their developers are and how terrific this service is, but they're making money by targeting the very audience that's going to struggle to jump through their cancellation hoops (and if the other reviews here are any indication, you'll find that the information behind the subscription is pretty common and easily available for free elsewhere).

Game changer for Adult Diagnosis
This app has made such a difference for me. I normally hate subscriptions, but a year of this was less than 2 months of my medication costs. Worth. Every. Penny. To me. I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 23, and I don’t think I really believed I had ADHD until a few years ago. I had to get off my medication when I became pregnant at 29. The more I learned about ADHD, the more I realized that I 100% had it. This app made me feel so seen and not crazy ! Just understanding how my brain works and coping techniques has greatly helped my mental health. I recommend this app to anyone I meet who got a diagnosis as an adult.

Cannot sign up for no coaching in free trial
I was very interested in trying the app for seven days, read several reviews and then read through the paid subscription types available in the Apple Store list. I got through most of the signup screens only to find that the free trial requires the coaching option. If I could do a free trial for only the “Understand your ADHD” and “Thrive with new tools and habits” portions without the “Coaching by ADHD Specialists”, I would be in, and probably convert to annual subscription for that. But I cannot see how to do that through the signup process for a free trial even after reading the lengthy Terms. So frustratingly, I am not moving forward. I anticipate the app is great but I do not want a coach and have to interact with someone directly.

Just another Expensive app you have to pay for
I couldn’t even start the 7 day free trial to see if I at least liked it. I’m assuming cuz I don’t have $50-$200 in my account. If I got to test it out and liked it maybe I’d get that much money and try it but I can’t even test it. Not to mention the prices are pretty high. Why can’t we normalize health care apps, i.e. self-help, mental illness help, etc. , that are free or at least more affordable. There are more people out there who don’t have insurance and can’t afford to go see a doctor or specialist or whatever to get the help they need. This is a tool for people who already have doctors, psychologists, or specialists who think they could use a little help outside of sessions. Stop advertising and pushing apps so much if they really only are able to help certain people who have money.

Helpful!
Diagnosed ND for over a decade. I also suffer from BPD, depression, anxiety. While Inflow is not meant for the others, it has helped significantly! I have never received decent mental health care, let alone the tips & tricks you get with Inflow, from any providers. So through my own research I know about things like DBT. Having inflow helps give me an actual example of what to do to utilize this knowledge. I’m also reinforced to stick to my progress, otherwise it’s just so easy for depression to keep me from motivating myself. Now, I can open Inflow and read inspiring tips and it naturally motivates me to be a better me, easy peasy 🥹

Design changes making this difficult to use
I’m not sure why the developers are changing the layout to be less user friendly but for a person with adhd it’s making it very frustrating to use. When I first joined it had a clean, smart layout that was not triggering or overwhelming. In the last few months they have made changes that look sloppy and quite frankly don’t make sense. The layout is overwhelming now. I would have said this app has been helpful but now it’s frustrating which is the last thing I need or am going to pay for. I won’t be using it anymore unless they fix their design. Dry disappointed as it’s been a good resource for me up to this point.

You can start now!
First of all, an app is no substitute for a diagnosis and professional support, but Inflow has been a great first step for me. These are life skills and community support that you don’t need any prescription for. As an American, accessing official medical support can take a long time and have significant financial barriers. I’m in my late twenties, still waiting for an official diagnosis, but my parent was recently diagnosed (in his 60’s!), so I’m using Inflow to get myself on a path to sustainability and success in my work and relationships. It’s never too late, but it’s also not too early! You can start now!

Glad my friend warned me!
I’ve been searching for a good ADHD app for a while now and recently downloaded a few to feel them out. Luckily enough My friend who has some experiences with the apps let me know of her very....different experience with the co founder of this app. She was charged 95$ for a yearly subscription. The options are either 95$ for a year or 30$ for a month. Not sure how that math makes sense? The co founder then proceeded to email her not once, but twice to get her to take down her review. Also, attaching screenshots basically calling her a liar about when she received the email about the charge and when she opened it. As a co founder, customer service should be one of the most important things you should have. Very disappointed that a mental health app would go out of their way to talk rudely to someone for expressing their own feelings.

Very High Hopes
I just started the 7 day trial and I am excited to see how this turns out. So far the app has been both validating and informative. I have struggled severely with my ADHD for the last couple of years. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the fact that I stopped drinking alcohol or that I am just more engaged in the world due to work and responsibilities but either way I feel like this app is just what I’ve been needing. It’s practical, helpful, and very supportive. Thank you Inflow team! Will be posting updates as I continue with my free trial

Game changer!
Inflow has completely changed the way I think about my ADHD. The modules help me build new skills to add to my “ADHD toolbox” and the live events give me a space to try my new skills and get comfortable with them. The community is so supportive and the writers and hosts share solid, scientific information - not like the info ADHD influencers share. Everyone who works at Inflow is awesome, all of the hosts and writers have ADHD so they know what we go through every day. I use the student discount for 50% off so it’s easy to afford but even at full price I’d say it’s worth every penny.

Really impressed
I am enjoying the content on the app. The speakers and the challenges are good quality. But the thing that impressed me the most, was that the app sent an awesome email prior to the end of the free trial basically stating, “we get that you have ADHD and you’ve probably forgotten to cancel things before you got charged and we want to remind you to do that if you plan to.” I was honestly on the fence about keeping it but I respected their effort to keep me from losing money. I have not been disappointed in my choice. Thanks Inflow for not exploiting the people your app is meant to help

Loving it so far!
I’ve only been using the app for two days so far, but I already love the format and the tips I’ve gotten. I plan on using the Pomodoro technique with my tasks today. It’s already making me more mindful and relieving some of the guilt and shame that I’ve had about, how my ADHD impacts my life. If you’ve ever use Noom for weight loss, the format is almost identical. Nor for me, so I am optimistic about this app helping me significantly manage my ADHD symptoms. If anyone has used Noom successfully in the past, and also has ADHD, I highly recommend this app for them.

Helpful esp since newly diagnosed
I like this app a lot, use it daily, would recommend it and I will keep using it long term. I am very newly diagnosed and needing to learn more. The modules on various topics about coping with Adhd have been helpful to learn more. I also really like the community aspect since I don’t know anyone else with this, and I really like the accountability coach aspect. The whole app is set up in a way that is very adhd-user-friendly. Tech support has been very responsive / helpful. It’s been a huge resource to me, new in my journey / dx, and made me feel much less lost.

Changed my life
I’ve struggled with impulsivity, anxiety, and executive functioning my entire life (never knowing why). I’ve only recently been told that I have some ADHD characteristics by a therapist. I downloaded this app and I’ve learned so so much about myself. What’s more, I’ve learned how to navigate problem areas and I’m functioning at a much higher level. The Co-working keeps me focused and on track as a freelance writer. My business has completely turned around and I owe it all to implementation of what what I’m learning from inflow. Worth every penny.

Helpful but overpriced.
There are a lot of great articles and suggestions on self reflection and how to change your thought processes. However, in 3 out if the 7 days fir the trial, I have heard from my “therapist” once. There is a pretty picture but the “therapists” single message was auto bot quality. The company claims it’s so expensive because we have access to these therapists. Maybe they are helpful but 7 days is not enough time to find out. So. I will not be continuing after my free trial because I don’t see enough here to justify the cost. My suggestion for the developers is to have the following on top of the current program. A free version where you can only work on 1 unit in 1 section a day. (There are five different sections with multiple units and I am working on 2 at a time) without access to the therapist. Two a less expensive version where we have access to everything except the therapists. This way people can use the program to get help despite their financial situation.

Quick and effective way to improve your focus and happiness
As a psychologist, and human who has feelings, I love this app. In less than 5 minutes per day, In Flow helps bring awareness to areas in your life you want to improve and behaviors you want to change. I love that it starts with simple education and builds to add skills for different areas. These areas are customizable to those you feel specifically benefit you. There’s also a community, where you can connect to others who can understand your life experience. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

tools may be useful but predatory subscription model
they assure you that they won’t charge you before the trial is over but i got a notification from my bank that they tried charging my card 1 day before the trial was meant to end. when i logged into my account it said my free trial had ended and access was over but it gave me the option to sign up again. so i sent them an email asking them to make sure this was accurate and that the declined charge was a weird fluke. i’m still waiting to hear back from the support team, but today they tried charging my card again and this time it went through (not sure why the first charge didn’t?) - this is incredibly frustrating especially because i also received no push notifications or emails telling me my trial was ending. even though their checkout screen says they promise to remind you. also sidenote, i only did a module on the first day of my trial but the app congratulated me for keeping a 5 day streak so i think it uses inaccurate metrics to give you a little dopamine boost despite your actual app usage… which is unhelpful.
