I started iVIM this month (Jan ‘24) after careful research narrowed my choice down to four GLP-1 online providers. This iVIM app tipped the balance, was actually the only provider I could find offering an app other than WW (which only works if you have insurance covering the med, not my case). As a lifetime dieter I’ve used many diet tracking apps but could see that the iVIM app was tailored to their program. In addition to providing simple, effective daily tracking of a few important things, it is full of well-produced videos and articles offering additional info on a weekly basis, which is great — what you need to know next but not overwhelming. It also offers your personal macro recommendations (protein, fat, carbs) and meal plans (with recipes) customized to your food preferences. And it can hook up to Fitbits or similar health-tracking devices. Yes, there are some glitches with food entry that they’ll work out but the app is easy-to-use and a fantastic help as it is. Thank you iVIM! PS the shots are working, it’s amazing how much my appetite and snacking is curbed 🥳.
Being completely honest, I’ve tried multiple websites to get my ozempic prescription but they were all very expensive and I never managed to receive anything. Ivim has changed my life completely. They are very cheap while having the option to use Klarna, I received my prescription within days, and the in app community has been amazing. So far I’m so happy with my experience and results.
The app is full of bugs. Very limited information. You have to save links sent to you in various emails and then log into 3 or more different website to gain access to different features. If you aren’t using a food database, integrate to MyFitness Pal and AppleHealth (really, I turn it on and it turns itself back off within your app)! I tried to use the IVIM app to track my macros but none of the common foods are showing up or they’re in accurate so I moved back to MFP. I would assume you are running analytics to better understand your patients trends, habits, side effects, etc. Your current app and web experience is going to give garbage analytics. They need to streamline the experience and give there customers one home for their full needs. It’s frustrating! Make 1 app and 1 website experience, they should mirror one another period. Solicit a tech savvy and non savvy group of testers. No dev teams should release this kind of UX in today market.
The app tries to be useful, but misses the mark. It has no stored data when trying to log my food for the day so I have to manually enter everything I’m eating if I want to track my food, but it doesn’t update the nutrients or calories when you adjust the portion size to what you actually consumed, so it’s completely useless unless you’re only eating the portion size. Then you have to repeat this everyday since it doesn’t save your information and make it easily accessible the next day. Also, there’s little to no information on the app itself about my specific prescription plan and no way to track my use and dosing. I don’t really see what the point of the app is besides to track weight, but my scale has its own app for that which does a better job and is connected by Bluetooth. This app needs a lot of work for it to be valuable to its users.
I really wanted to like this app, and there are some features that I really like, but the food tracking has been nothing but frustrating! I can never find any of the foods I want and when I add my own foods, it doesn’t save the correct calorie amounts. Yesterday, when I tried to quick add my dinner calories, it somehow added the calories to today’s calorie amount. I have been double tracking, using a different food app to get the correct calorie amounts and then quick track them in the Ivim app, but I’d really prefer to be able to just use one app. I have been happy with Ivim and I have enjoyed tracking activity, sleep, and steps, but the food tracking has really made things frustrating for me! I hope they can fix the glitches soon.
I love tracking your nutrition and I keep having glitches when you add your own food. It either doesn’t save or doesn’t work. I hate that when adding your own food it automatically computes to 1 (cup, tbsp, etc) so then you have to do math to get the correct protein, fats, etc. it also took me a minute that there is only one place where you can change the actual serving size. I wish there was also a button that would connect you to the IVIM community because I was lost trying to find it for awhile! For water would love if you can input your own oz instead of just adding cups especially since a lot of people drink from a big water bottle all day .
I like the general services that this company provides but this app is utterly useless. I cannot add my own food. I tried to make recipes which show the calories correctly however when added to a meal it adds thousands of calories. I reported bugs and no one respond. It is unfortunate that I am paying for a specific service that includes an app but cannot even get a response to glitches. I am literally finding things close so that I can input calories and have close macros. The problem now is most things are set for 1 calorie each despite a”cup serving size” and I can only add ‘20’ servings. I now have to figure out a second app and potentially pay again so that I can have accurate counts/ macros
An incredible value addition to an already amazing program!
Progress tracking, medication tracking, & nutrition tracking are a great companion to an already amazing program. Well done! I find this to be a major value add to my wellness experience with ivim. 10/10 and frequently adding new version updates, content, & features!
The ability to keep track of calories , carbs and protein is great however the scanner option is hard to use. Takes forever to get the scanner to actually pick up the barcode and everything I scan is either not available or the wrong product comes up. The look up option for food has the worst selections. I eat very basic easy to find in store items and it’s very frustrating. I’ve used other calorie tracking apps in the past and this is one is by far the hardest to use. Hopefully over time the database will improve.
I have my steps/workouts linked through my Heath Alp but it shows up incorrectly in the app (doubles my steps for workout times) and if you have your Health app connected, you are not able to enter your weight in directly to the app. Very frustrating. Also tracks food incorrectly. Shows incorrect amounts of protein, calories, etc on main page. Like other reviewers said, frustrating to pay for the monthly fee and the app doesn’t function well. If this doesn’t get fixed, I will be moving to another provider.
I want to love this app but it has lots of bugs. The food tracker worked before the recent update now it only tracks your calories. When you want to add a food sometimes it takes up to 4 times before it pops on to your items. It also quits unexpectedly. Lastly, you can’t make an appointment through the app. Some positive aspects are the videos, nutritional recipes, and doseage information. My understanding is part of the monthly fee is being able to use the app.
I’m new to this program and I’m loving it so far however I’ve noticed while scanning some items it’s not in your system. This app needs more options for food. I tried to create as much as I can, but there’s nothing at all.
Love everything about this program and the people have always been nice. The app needs work though when you go to the order, subscription etc page, you try to click on any of them and nothing works. I wanted to check on my order and subscription but you can’t click on any of the like 5 choices of things listed. My iPhone is up to date on its software.
I love at the concept of it and how it works butttt when putting food in, it doesn’t give options for a lot of food soo you have to add it… who the size will be the whole container when you only had a piece and it doesn’t give you the option to change the serving size. Wish they would fix this and be more realistic. It gave me an option of a whole dang large pizza… I only had 1 slice and it didn’t have that choice ..
Functionality is seriously lacking with this app. It would be so nice if the features it offered actually worked. The external apps do not link properly so my data is incorrect. And you should be able to assign what data comes from which app. I use health for all most my data but Fitbit just for food tracking but you can only choose one app and even then it doesn’t work. Also, I can’t change my intake date. I do it on Mondays and it has arbitrarily chosen Wednesdays for me.
If I’m required to pay a monthly fee, then the app that they asked me to use should actually work. It should not change the date of my injection because I ordered a refill. It doesn’t remember that I’ve already filled out the weekly request that they asked me to fill out providing information on my dosage if I’ve used the drug as stated, and my weight loss. When you speak to someone with the Company, they say oh yeah the app is terrible. How about we make the app work for the price we have to pay monthly.
Excellent app and program for lasting weight change
As a dietitian I find IVIM a complete program for lasting change. The app has everything you need in one place to keep you focused and motivated to lose weight and change your behaviors.
Basic foods - example: handful of plain strawberries does not come up as an option. However all these brands that contain strawberries come up. There should be more basic options to choose from so we don’t have to create the food every time
The app is super easy to use! I love the charts for the weight loss… I like to see the difference… I do wish they would add a BMI feature but overall I’m very happy with the company, app, the staff have been amazing!
The app is horrible. I get error messages more than anything when I am trying to go into orders , subscriptions or appts. I have to back out and go back in multiple times. The food diary is useless and you can’t log even the most basic foods. They should at least sync with MyFitness Pal or another food diary. The apps that it does sync with has to be synced multiple times a week which is pointless.
Overall, app is fine and able to record. The only thing is that I have to go to another app to record my food so I wish that could be updated with our monthly fee we do pay for.
The app is easy to use and I love that it integrates with other apps for weight and activity tracking. I love the daily recap as well. It helps to create a habit of daily tracking and mindfulness.
The ability to track your medications and supplements is a really useful feature. The nutrition tracking is great and the information is extremely useful.
I want to love it, but I just can’t. IVIM is great. The app, not so much. I receive errors frequently and the food log is unusable. I search for eggs and cream soda comes up. I connected my Fitbit and it doesn’t sync and my previous weight tracking disappeared. It’s pretty much unusable. This app could make IVIM standout from the competition but right now it just does the opposite. Hope it gets better.
Food app needs to be updated. When inputting selections and using search feature it does not find very typical items. Ex. Searching salad, green salad, etc the first selections that come up are blackberries and Alaskan salmon. Also update units of measurement for food selections.
It is next to impossible to get your prescriptions sent to a pharmacy if you aren’t doing compound. Can’t reach anyone through chat or phone ever. You have to chase after your prescription every single month to get it sent. They will close out the request saying it’s been sent when it never has been.
I truly enjoy the assessability of the different recipes and fun interactive applications. The App is truly inviting and shows excellent progress on your journey towards weight loss.
If you don’t sign up for one of their programs within the first visit, good luck getting a hold of anyone again. To make things worse, their chat service is absolutely abhorrent. I joined their membership service, hoping that it would increase communication, but it was just a waste of money.
Only been two weeks but haven’t seen any difference yet. I dnt eat a lot in any sense but did change with the meals I chose on here. Hopefully next week I see something with the cost of this. I do walk everyday at least 4 miles.
I love IVIM and have been a happy member since March 2024. To date I have lost 42 lbs and I couldn't have done it without the support provided by the IVIM community. Thank you!
The app is god awful, and absolutely not worth the $75 a month (with a 3 month commitment) that they require you to purchase in order to receive medication. If the medication isn’t a fit for you and you want to stop, then you’re out of luck for 3 months. Wish I had done research into other companies.
Crashes half the time I try to use it. I connected my Fitbit but no data was synching and you can’t add manually if you have a device connected. So I removed my Fitbit but that removal doesn’t stay. I have to remove it again every time I open the app. The program is good but the app is not worth even using.
App will sometimes dead end and requires several tries to get a page open, “Orders” page, for example. Making appointments in app is also not good. Never sent me a link or way to join the appointment.
Needs a basic UI review for functionality. App has some issues with syncing to Apple health, doesn’t allow manual adding if it’s connected to an external data source but not syncing, medicine dates are not able to be edited, app deletes added events, can’t not schedule an appointment through the app or online.
Cannot link my account to have my program show up on my app. When I try to log in, I get an email sent to me to verify but it still doesn’t log me in When logging my food sometimes the app will go blank, forcing me to close the app and reopen
I pay for a premium app that tracks my food intake and it writes to Apple health. But this app does not read that information and wants you to use their food logger but it is not as in-depth as the one I paid for.
I’m an IVIM client. The app good tracker doesn’t work. It either logs your cal and nutrition at 10x or 1/10 of their actual value. You can creat your own foods to enter but they don’t save. I’ve emailed and sent chat requests several times and gotten little response. So frustrating!
Several other weight loss apps are better. Needs to sync accurately with Apple Health app, food database and tracking need to be more user friendly, and ability to see macro tracking needs to be present.
I like the app BUT I want to Love it. I can’t see what “recap” questions are being asked. Another thing is FOOD OPTIONS! I can’t log any of my food that I scan. Please fix this and I’ll update my review.
Linked to Fitbit and it locks you out of making update’s manually that I don’t track in Fitbit so unlinked and it kept trying to link every time I logged in I had to go to link section again. Had to remove app completely and redownload then start over!
I can’t open any of the tabs meals, plans, getting started etc…every tab has a lock on them. What’s the point of paying for the membership monthly if you can’t see any of the information.
