Five Stars Now Borderline 2!
The app is great! Easy to use, never bored of the workouts. Many are extremely challenging. However, I started using the app and bought the rope system almost 2 years ago when the gyms were shut down due to the pandemic. Several friends and I began using the app to jump together virtually. What motivation and accountability this allowed. I went from having three friends jump to introducing nearly 100 people to this wonderful world of jumping rope for fitness! We would all sign up for the challenges and complete them together using technology each day. Even if you had the lite version, you were able to complete the 21-day challenges, which were reduced to 14-day challenges and now Crossrope has gotten besides themselves by limiting the challenges to the first few days to those who don’t have the premium version of the app. By jumping together, SEVERAL of those who jump with me have gone on to buy the rope system, but they don’t want or can’t afford the premium version of the app. It’s disheartening that Crossrope has not only changed this option, but increased the cost of the rope system which already gives people sticker shock. I’m very disappointed. We’re just a bunch of people who want to challenge and motivate each other…no one is getting paid for this EXCEPT CROSSROPE! What gives?

This is the Primo System I needed.
I’ve been jumping rope for up to 15 years. And breaking ropes for up to 15 years. Snapping cords. Busting bearings. Cracking handles. All of it until now. I sat on buying this for about three months and in that time I went through three different name brand ropes. Admittedly I’ve been jumping on concrete so the didn’t help, but even in the days when I was jumping on parquet floors things were still going wrong. Since skipping rope is my primary form of exercise and toning, I figured an investment would be worth it from allI I was hearing in reviews, even though I take them with a grain of salt. But now I’m all the way in. Four ropes, a mat, I’ve even let my free Crossrope app account rollover into my debit card. The workouts are up on point, the ropes and handles are on point— I’m not a joiner or a follower, not even a person that leaves reviews, but this ish has me locked. You got me Crossrope! Congrats. 🤣🔥✊🏽

People out of work; app charges for use.
It’s disheartening to see a company make a cash grab during these times. As a corporate business owner in a luxury service myself, I understand that hard decisions are being made by founders and CEO’s. My husband and I have supported Crossrope by spending upwards of $400 on their jump rope sets; we have promoted them on social media, spending time convincing our friends that, yes, they really do need a $100 jump rope. We comment on their paid ads with positive reviews and praise. We have loved the brand, their affiliation with the Jump Rope Dudes, and learning the jump rope life. At the peak of people being out of work due to the global pandemic and mass layoffs, we think it’s in poor taste to launch a paid version of the app and limit access to content. We’ve seen such generosity from the fitness community in helping inspire people to be active at home, and it’s sad to see that Crossrope has decided to use this time to turn a profit. While this wouldn’t be a financial barrier for us, many people are not so fortunate. Obviously I don’t know the financial pulse of this company, and I sincerely wish them the best, but we are disappointed in the timing of paid access to the app and will likely result in long term distaste for the brand for us.

What’s the loading bar?
I have to put my phone into airplane mode every time I want to load the app, otherwise, a loading bar of some sort appears at the bottom of the screen, but never finishes. Once I get past that and into the app, it’s fine. I’ve noticed some of the challenges that have been sent out by email in the past are not present, such as the jump rope kettlebell challenge, it would be nice if they were all available. I also don’t see the point in separating the old system from the infinity system. The ropes are the same weights, just different colors. Changing the font size on the challenge timers so that both the rope weight and exercise are visible would be more helpful because I’m not buying the infinity ropes, for the sake of an app, when my legacy ropes are just fine. Putting all of the challenges on one page but adding a toggle to change the colors between infinity and legacy would probably work better, and reduce the amount of navigation needed. I understand infinity is the new product, but it feels like anybody using the legacy ropes is being left behind with the guesswork needed when doing the newer challenges.

Worse Over Time, but Nice Ropes
Feels like I have to write this review after being a user for 3.5 years because of the feature removal. It used to be that you would get a fun rotation of a new exercise or two each day that would remain free for a couple of weeks and you would essentially pay to access the “archives” among other features, and it worked that way for a long time. Now there are only a set few free workouts (most of which aren’t particularly engaging) that do not change; if you want most new things you have to pay for it. I used to look forward to what fresh new 3-flame endurance workouts they would cook up on a weekly basis, but now it’s generally the same old tedium with one free interesting one if you’re lucky (and those only stick around for a couple days). Super unfortunate they’re going the same way that most other companies do these days, but I still have to give it 3 stars since the ropes have worked amazing for me for years and they still do offer free workouts (even if the app is a shadow of what it once was).

Awesome! Just a request..
I have been using the Crossrope app for a couple of weeks now. The Amp handles take jump rope to a new level. Not having to think or count intervals is very nice. My favorite workouts are the Benchmark and Free jump. I am not a fan of following a premade workout, that isn't mine. This brings me to my request: Being a fan of Benchmark I like to change out my ropes frequently for different workouts. This creates havoc in my Apple app with starting and stopping exercises frequently. If you allowed the users to “create workouts” I think this would solve the problem. You could set the ropes you want to use, indicate rest periods or interval workouts like push-ups or planks, and specify jumping styles. This would reduce the start and stops of free jump/benchmark and contain all rope changes in a single workout. This is the only thing that keeps me from giving the Crossrope app a 5-star review. Outside of minor app enhancements, Crossrope is perfect. Thanks for making jump rope fun!

CrossRope Jumprope
I have always been relatively fit and in the industry since I was on a swim team at 13. I loved running, outside and training of all kinds. I needed an extra inside activity and a website called Zuzkalight incorporated a JR in her workouts. So I proceeded to buy this that and the other. Finally I found a cable rope that had some weight and handles that wouldn’t snag but it’s not great. After teaching myself at 60 yrs old I realized I loved this and improved my running foot speed and agility thru jumping. So then I had to try this rope. I LOVE it. If I had had known when I started 3 years ago I know my ability would be better but that’s ok. I love the workout app they gave to try with it and some of the other ways to use the rope the “tricks”. Variety and portability. I travel a lot and love the whole thing about the rope. Thank you Jump Rope Dude’s and do The Thing.

From free & good, to paid & bad
Started using this app in January when I bought my first Crossrope set, and immediately loved how simple and effective it was along with the wide variety of workouts available. The only thing missing was that you couldn’t repeat your favorites workouts whenever you wanted. You could only rate them (which is pointless if you can’t utilize the rating in some way). BUT NOW after the recent update, the app took a nosedive. For one thing, it keeps getting stuck on landscape mode even though I don’t use it in that view. Also the free workouts are no longer as varied (or as good), and they want $10 a month to access the rest! That’s steep for ONLY jump rope routines (especially during a time such as this) and there’s not even a trial offer. I’m not sure if the remaining free workouts still rotate/refresh (it doesn’t seem so, and they all used to) but two that I’ve tried so far aren't even properly timed, giving rest periods of 5 seconds instead of the usual 20-30... also ending abruptly despite indicating that there are more exercises to do. I don’t know if that’s a scripting issue or what, but whoever put those routines together wasn’t paying attention. I’m quite frustrated with the update and with Crossrope. They should consider a lower price tier, and at the very least fix the bugs. Otherwise I will likely move to a different app which I can buy ONCE and enter my own workouts/timers, rather than pay an overpriced monthly sub.

Crossrope App Review
You do not need their ropes to enjoy the app. Any ropes will do. This is a free app with no pushing for money and it’s definitely worth it. It’s a clean interface. Sleek and simple. The routines are killer and they are always mixing up. Many of them have the same concepts and exercises, but ropes, exercise order, and time may vary. I really only have two criticisms. First is that they don’t actually provide any description or definition of what the exercise is. They provide a moving picture of it, but that’s all. Freestyle Jump, for example, shows a moving image of jumping side to side like moguls on skis. I understand freestyle as “do whatever you want,” but have no clear indication on if I’m right or if it’s an actual style of jump. Second, and this is where I subtract a star from the rating, is that their internal calorie estimates are highly inflated and overstated. Upwards to about double what you are actually burning. I wear a HRM for any exercise I do. There is no way you are burning 500 calories in 20 minutes by jumping rope. I couldn’t achieve that level of burn in an intense spin session which is much more strenuous than jumping rope. I’m not taking anything away from jumping rope as exercise. It’s a fun, fantastic way of exercising. I love doing it and I really enjoy this app and would 100% recommend. Need to fix the calorie algorithm used to be a bit more accurate.

Its Decent, Definitely Worth a Try
Crossropes are a great tool and are the best jump ropes Ive ever had. Ive found Count mode to be sufficiently accurate. The app has about all you’d need in a jump rope app, but could use a few more creative, well thought-out features including 1) custom/freestyle workout modes and tracking for these (time, date, duration, calories burned, count) 2) Let the user tap a button to select the rope being used between pauses in a freestyle mode. 3) Calculate calories based on count numbers and/or time spent using a certain rope. (Currently calories are an average based on whatever is typical for completing prerecorded workouts.) 4) notify yesterday’s count to challenge the user and motivate throughout the day. Like a good step counter would. 5) make count available and working during any workout All the above would blend together nicely and actually be worth paying for a premium app. I’d absolutely buy this. As for now I won’t be continuing my subscription after this month. CONS: 1) there is no Activity tracking for Count mode, which is completely separate from workouts. No freestyle or custom feature. 2) I cannot complete an hour-long calibration for Count mode without the app crashing. 3) all audio output is terribly choppy while using (including with Bluetooth). 4) NO ACTIVITY DATA IS SAVED IF THE APP CRASHES. (Or in count/calibration mode at all, where it’s likely to crash) 🥂

It’s a great app
I love this app I have there jump rope and I use it almost every day. I can feel the work out and it’s great at first it took a minute to get use to the jump rope but I’m good with it now I have the weighted ones and the lean ones and there great I can feel the burn and sweat so much more I love that it connect to my Apple Watch as well and it help track with the health app on my phone. Jump roping has always been a thing I liked but I never really got a good workout till I started using this app it gives you different things you can do different challenges to do and I like how the have the sets 5 minutes a set so when I get really out of it I just say 5 more minutes and I’m good it helps a lot mindset wise. I’m probably gonna upgrade to the full version soon to get more workouts!

This app was decent until....
Crossrope required a premium membership to access all of the challenges and workouts that I previously had access to for free. I just spent over $200 on jump ropes that were advertised as coming with a free workout app with challenges and workouts. That was only true for less than a month of my purchase. After the sneaky upgrade, a basic (i.e. free) membership only includes access to a limited number of workouts and challenges. Despite the reassurance that member still have complete access to the free workouts of the past, this is untrue. There are a number of workouts I completed prior to this change that are now locked under the premium membership. I was very pleased with this company until its latest bait and switch tactic to capitalize off of increased pandemic sales. I still love my ropes, but this move leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I did not experience the app long enough to determine whether it is worth a paid subscription.

New to jump rope Crossrope
After much investigation, I decided to go with the Crossrope. I couldn’t tell you if at this point or not that this is the rope for me. What I can say is that the Crossrope seams to be very well constructed. So far it is beyond my abilities, but I’m hoping that will change for the better. I think I’m going to love the work out routine on the app. My daughter and I killed it last night on the first workout. Well ok maybe I didn’t kill it, but we had a blast trying, and man it a workout. This is something I can do in the hotel while I’m gone on business without leaving the hotel room. I’m a 38-year-old Man weighing 250 pounds standing 5‘6“ tall. I have high cholesterol and low Drive. My knees Hurt from the work that I do every day, and basically I have to do this to survive. Wish me luck. Thanks, Charles L.

Beginner with Lupus
So I got cross rope to start working out at home and to do something that wouldn’t take long but still give me some form of cardio and full body during COVID. Then just recently I was diagnosed with lupus and my whole world turned upside down. My friends and family we’re all keeping me in prayer encouraged. Regardless of these words, I still faced sadness, defeat, depression, anger, and asking “why me”. I just started giving up mentally. One day I woke up and I saw Crossrope staring at me and I decided I wouldn’t let lupus control me, I would control lupus. I keeping everything in prayer and trusting God has the final word. So my journey began today with cross rope. My first beginner jumping was hard and great! Thank you cross rope for the inspiration and motivation. Hugs from Bridgett Goodin.

AMP cant be controlled from Apple watch
Crossrope has an app for apple watch that in theory should allow you to control the AMP jump rope for example pausing. Unfortunately, pausing or leaving the app on Apple watch causes the app to force you to use your iPhone instead. This makes pausing for any reason, drinking water, doing calisthenics/HIIT in between, or even just going to the bathroom your workout in jeopardy of being forced to pick up your phone off the ground or wherever it is which breaks up the workout too much, wastes time, and loses the opportunity to go with increased heart rate. The only way around this once youre prevented from controlling the jump rope via Apple Watch, is to pickup your phone, end the workout, and restart the app. That or just deal with the fact that you now have to constantly pick up the phone. Please crossrope deliver a patch to fix this.

51 yrs. old newbie
From a 51 yrs. old newbie to jump roping. I love the “Beginning 14 Day Challenge.” It’s been a challenge for me the first few days mentally and physically. I have always been a very active person prior to owning businesses. I was not able to balance my fitness and work life. I knew that my stamina had decreased over the last few years. That being said, I was on the hunt for a mind and body transformation with a big impact with minimal time. Who has hours to spend at the gym? Not me. So ...I found an amazing fitness program thru CROSSROPE JUMP ROPING! I started this week with the ‘Beginning 14 Day Challenge.” Day three, I found that I was more fluent with my form and breathing. I love the way each day challenge is planned and mapped out for the user; the scheduled timing per unit of jump roping, stretches, low impact squats and rests, etc... I will say, preview the challenge for the day before starting the challenge. There are stretches and low impact exercises that you may not know that are mixed within the jump rope challenges. I also love the jump rope community on FB. Motivators from every day folks are great mind feeders! GREAT PROGRAM!!! Thanks for sharing your love for the sport! ~ Charleston, SC

Love My Rope... Love The app!
So far I’m enjoying the workouts that are listed. I wish you did not have to pay for a premium account. Especially after paying so much for the product (the Crossrope jump rope). You’d think that a purchase of the rope would come with access to all of the workouts since anyone could download the app and access the free version. I plan on buying both sets of ropes so I can have all four weights to use. I’ve only had it for a few days and I can already see that the rope is definitely worth it. Again, with the price, I’d feel that the app should be free. Especially now when people are reaching out for ways to become healthier and more fit.

Stimulating workouts
I used to use the P90X app and I liked that for ~30min workouts or anywhere from 10min-almost 60min workouts. This is similar, yet easier to get into because jumping rope doesn’t seem as grueling. The easier workouts smoothly transition into the more difficult workouts as you learn ‘trick’ jumps and as your endurance gets better. I only rate 4 stars because I’ve had a few workouts that were free jump for every interval and those felt like they lacked substance to make the workout as entertaining as the other workouts. I’ve already renewed my sub for the app at least once. I’ve just started using my new AMP handles and I’m interested to see how my workouts change with the feedback. Overall great workout program.

Great workout!
I received my rope a few weeks ago, but ordered the wrong size. Crossrope made it super easy to exchange for a better length. Now that I have the right length, I have used this rope every single day and was addicted after just one workout. I also love their app that comes with the rope. So far I’ve only done the 14 day Beginner’s Challenge, but I love it and how it gets you used to the ropes and long workouts. I also love that it implements other exercises and not just jumping rope. I’m on day 8 and already seeing results in how I look, feel, and how long I can jump for. I also love the training videos offered on all the different steps/exercises for jumping rope. There’s even a really great video for people who are just getting started.

Complete guide to jumping rope and great workouts
Great app. Just upgraded to unlock more features and get the counter. Maybe I’m missing it but I wish the counter would also come with a timer so I can see how many jumps I can do in a minute. In response to the luxury CEO who gave 1star because they can’t afford to upgrade I say this...Everyone has a choice. Simple. To give a single star just because you think nobody should pay for an upgrade due to the current global situation is ridiculous. There enough content on the app to get a great workout .. I mean give me a break. It sounds like you have deeper issues and need to get yourself checked. I bet you still use their ropes too👍🏼

Say goodbye to boring Cardio
Don’t get me wrong I love a good run or bike ride. But as someone that played sports competitively, I found it really difficult to get that same high intensity, challenging experience from textbook cardio workouts. The different weighted cross ropes along with the in-app interactive workouts has completely changed the way I approach cardio. Everytime I pickup the crossrope for a workout I find myself increasing my tempo, skill, and eagerness to improve and learn more techniques. The rate at which you can improve and compete against your previous skill level is insane. The crossrope workouts provided get my heart rate going and calories burning way faster/stronger than any other cardio workout I’ve tried (plus they’re way more fun).

I love my jump ropes but...
I love my jump rope set. It’s amazing this app is as good as it is and still has room for improvement. I don’t know where I should make feature request but 2 things stand out to me. One being the app doesn’t communicate with my native apple health app on iOS. It would be awesome if I could take my workout activity recorded in the crossrope app and have it automatically logged in my other fitness apps. I have three apps besides crossrope that cover my eating and monitor my weight and body composition. The other feature I’d like is a Apple Watch app. I’ve been wanting a app that can accurately record my jumps and calories burned during workouts. I have an app that does that but it doesn’t have the extensive workouts that the crossrope app does. Without these changes I don’t see any benefit for me going premium. Still a great app tho!

The best ropes out there with a terrible pay model.
I’ve easily spent over 500 bucks on these ropes between my wife and I and I don’t regret a single cent. Of all the workout equipment I own Crossropes are by far the ones I go to over and over again. Their app provides several free workouts every week which are great however their premium subscription is a garbage money grab. For the cost of the ropes you should get free premium access. I’d pay 50 bucks for a one and done sale. I’d even watch advertisements. Anything but another subscription fee. The only way to fight the subscription model is to stop subscribing. 3 years in I’ve almost jumped through 3 of my ropes. I’ll likely send Crossrope another several hundred dolllars for new ropes. They’re getting my money but not through a subscription.

Love the app and love how it has evolved
I have been using the Crossrope app since day one and giving my feedback along the way. I am happy to see that some changes that I -and I’m sure others- have recommended have been listened to and applied. I would say there is two other feature that would be a nice addition: 1) An optional warm-up and cool-down with every exercise. 2) Small text that shows which exercise is next once you are almost finished with an exercise for those who would prefer not to use the voice feature but receive the same functionality. Again, great job and I appreciate how much you guys have been open to user feedback.

Issue with workout not showing in fitness app
Update: All's running smoothly now 😘! Syncing issues solved! Customer service helped me retrieve my data - which was my fault as I had two accounts 🤦🏾‍♀️. Thank you! Past review… Hi! Love the ropes, the app, and the workouts. Since last Friday I my CR workouts where not showing up in my activity. Never had this issue before. The CR had all the permissions to access my health data. Nothing had changed. Problem persisted after the last update. So I tried to delete/reinstall the app and now I lost all my past data 😭😭😭😭. I’ve had premium for a while (love it!) so I thought it wouldn’t matter. Can you help me?

Off to a great start
I received my ropes this week (delivery was super quick) and I was able to use them for the first time today. They are very easy to interchange between the different weights. I’m still figuring out how to do a few types of jumps (I need to watch a tutorial on boxer jumps). I loved how the app works although I do wish there was a way to pause a workout to watch a quick tutorial instead of having to watch a tutorial outside of the workout. I’m at least glad there are videos provided in the app- again just wish they were more accessible during the middle of a workout in case you need a quick reference.

Makes it too hard to not workout!
This app solves one of the major issues with jump rope workouts, the timer. You literally grab your ropes, hit start and you’re on your way to fitness. The timer is custom for every workout, it tells you what is coming up next and tells gives you a countdown to the start and end of the set. It makes it too hard to not workout. I love how you get preloaded workouts and challenges too, you don’t even have to think about what you’re gonna do, just choose a workout or challenge and get it done. Highly recommend this app. Crossrope makes the best ropes and it’s nice to see they kept the quality high with this app.

App could offer a little more challenges for non premium members
I’ve had the popular set ($100) for 2 years now I believe. Though I love jumping and have recently asked myself if it’s time to up my game with the heavier ropes. The only con I have about the app, is that I don’t understand why, when I first got the rope/app, the app asked me which ropes I have. Why did it ask me that, if it’s going to continue showing me workouts with ropes that I don’t have? I get the filter option, but when it comes to the challenges, I wish new challenges came by more often for people who don’t pay for the app. I haven't been able to do a full challenge workout due to eventually one of the days will have one of the ropes I don’t have. And that’s really annoying to me. Well— time to go jump now. Happy jumping everyone!

Love the app but it isn’t accurate
The app is amazing and there are tons of workout, program, and challenge options. Ive been having an issue with the accuracy of the workouts. Today, I started the Gronk Up challenge and I worked out (in the Texas heat) for 28 mins. When I went to see my activity in the iOS activity app, my activity ring was only at 19 mins. There is a clear discrepancy and it’s been happening for a while. My phone is up to day as is my Crossrope app. There’s no way for me to attach a picture but I took a screenshot. Please fix this issue. Also, it would be great to have a way to say if I workout inside or outside and the weights I use for the kettlebell and weighted exercises.

Amazing Results!!!
I’m a 52 year old woman who loves working out but alas, inconsistently. I’m trying to lose weight, & build muscle. I have been eating clean & non-processed food, upped my boxing 3x a week, and started doing weights. Scale hasn’t moved (or move as fast as I want it too) but since I started the SPRING challenge, I have dropped 5lbs and I’m only on my 4th day. I’m sure it’s a combination of everything I’m doing (plus water loss) but I feel that with the addition of skipping rope, I’m seeing results quicker. My belly fat is definitely melting faster. It’s great that I can pick up my jump rope and just do it without having to drive to the gym. When I’m done with this challenge, I just might purchase the 1&2 lb ropes!

Plus set
I am 58 now and have jumped rope off and on for several years and never staying with it. In the last year and a half I have lost about 70 pounds and most of it is jumping rope. Still eat what I want so not as much. Anyway I have had the plus set for a couple years and have worn out a couple ropes. Have replaced one and duct taped the other one and had to work on the handles as well and love it. I still have the first version of Crossropes As others have said it does change your workout quickly. Love the workouts crossropes give you and are easy to follow. I am a big fan of crossropes and bring them to work with me. Thanks for the great product and keep up the good work Martin

Inflated calories and double booking in my iPhone
The calories recorded by this app are definitely inflated. If it tells you burnt 200, you should probably deduct 50. Meanwhile, if you use iPhone to track your activities while you also use the workouts of this app, it would book twice of the calories to your total calories for the session, one from your iPhone activity app, another one from this app. I have given the feedback to the developer but it does not seem they have made any improvement. Bummer. Both flaws would deceive you about the real calories consumed and in the long run, it’s not good for you to calculate real calories lost and to lose weight. Other than these 2 , the app and the program are good.

I get it now!
Love my Crossrope and this app! Inalways saw someone jumping rope at my gym and thought it was a waste of time. Never did I think jump it would be fun activity....I just didn’t get it! I was always just a hardcore weightlifter...and dreaded anything cardio nor a treadmill....Until now!! I totally love the crossrope and the workout plans of this app. They are great for beginners to advanced jumpers. I also like the idea that you can track and log your workouts to track your progress. Thanks to this app, I was able to drop some pounds and continuing to do so. In addition, jump roping has now become my “go-to” workout and warmup! No more bordem of just weight lifting....THANK YOU!!

Issues with this app
I love the ropes themselves, but I really think they should have a level between their beginner workouts and their advanced workouts. They should also make some of the workouts more interesting. When I found them last summer I downloaded a month long workout (May workout) and it had jumps that were much more fun. The workouts on the app involve the same jumps over and over. Other users have suggested that i just add the jumps i want to do, but then what is the point of the app? Also they ask for feedback at the end of every workout. I almost always leave feedback and very often ask a question. I NEVER get a response which is maddening. I’ll try it here...What is the difference between “freestyle” and “boxer step”?

Well build app with easy to navigate UI
The workouts are good and I really appreciate that I can access all of them without any subscription. I purchased the ropes and they really enhance the workouts. My only suggestion is to perhaps include some more video representations for the exercises between the rope skipping. (i.e. drop squats, walk outs, etc.) There are demos in the overview but you cannot see them in the middle of the workout without canceling the workout. Overall, the app runs well, results from my iPad show up on my phone, and the UI is intuitive to navigate. I am looking forward to more workouts. Good job developers! And your QA/Test department!!

Great app, continues to get better
For anyone that is interested in working out, this is a great app. The free version has plenty of workouts to keep you busy while the pay for version opens up a wide range of workouts, challenges, and features. I like that Crossrope actually reaches out to users for ideas for improvement and continues to improve the app. Kudos to the team that develops the workouts! You all continue to bring us a great variety of workouts and challenges for the entire body. I have been really impressed by the quality of workouts in the app. Thank you!

Great app for basics, wish for more features
Love this app but I wish there were more options in my activity profile. For instance I think it would be cool to go back and see how long I worked out for a specific day. If I was able to interact with the graphs more also. Maybe even the option to build my own jump rope work outs, with type of jumps and how long, and like a guide to help build one properly. I do not own premium because I don’t think it’s worth it just to count my jumps. But I see a lot of cool potential with this app if it continues to grow.

Crossrope has great customized workouts
This app is overall a great app for jump-rope workouts. There are a lot of different workouts and timing preferences to choose from, and includes trick tip tutorials and how to’s for beginners. That said, the app could use some slight changes; the main page should be more workout oriented, and less of a promo for their premium and expensive jump-ropes. I wouldn’t have a problem, except that you must ‘choose’ which set you own before starting a workout. Another minor change is the loud beeping in headphones that the countdown to the workout creates which is pretty harsh and high pitched on my ears. All considered this is the best jump rope workout app that I’ve used and I will continue using it!

Parts of the App stop mid work out!
For the free trial everything was working great. However things have changed. Every time I’m in a workout my music just stops playing mid workout and I can’t get it back without having to close down the app. Another problem is with the jump calibrator. On many occasions it has just stopped counting. Again I have to restart the app. I have tried working out without music, I recalibrated the app, i’ve made sure all the updates are installed and basically tried everything I could think of. It’s sad because I want to give this app glowing reviews like everybody else does but unfortunately for me it is not delivering for my needs. I wish I could get a refund I’ve only had the app for nine days! I have canceled my renewal I will be stuck with a subpar app for the next year👎👎

My honest opinion
I’ve been using your ropes and app since 2016 and both only keep getting better with time. They’ve helped me with my goals and help to keep me motivated and on track, with that being said, the recent update (3.0.8) has some issues compared to the previous which was great in my opinion. 3.0.8 closes on me when intermittently when I’m using the app or if I switch an to another app and come back, also my music doesn’t return to the normal volume like it usually does after a timer announcement is made. Regardless I still give the app a 5 start based on the previous version.

Love the new workouts!
Great mix of new challenging advanced workouts! I also love the update to the app and how I can see right away what ropes I’ll need and which workouts I’ve already done. Constructive feedback- I’m not a big fan of having to press start after I’ve already started the warm up. I like the old way where you do the warmup and then it goes right into the workout. The update of the screen while working out is a little hard to read as well. The image of the jump rope is too big and takes up too much important real-estate.

Nice app. Great workouts... but...
I really like the app. The work outs are great. I just would really like to see the animation continue throughout the work out . It would give me motivation seeing someone moving with me when I do the workout it would also helps me to correct my form as I do the exercise. There are times I’m not even sure or can’t remember the next move. And a little music would be great too. Calorie count is also questionable. But I do enjoy the work out and will continue to use. The ropes are amazing . I love how they feel. The handles are beautiful l. I love how it turns. It is truly a superior system ..no regrets there. I recommend them without reservation !!

More than just jumping rope
This app incorporates rope jumping with body weight exercises to give the user an awesome full body, cardio and weight training, experience. A person will not get bored doing the same routine repeatedly; but to the contrary— will eagerly look forward to the next workout. The workout intensity can easily be modified, making this app ideal for a person of any fitness level. I’ve been working out regularly for many years and have tried all kinds of apps, fitness programs (e.g. Beachbody, which I also loved), and exercise equipment (e.g. treadmill, elliptical, rower, and free weights) — this app and workout experience ranks among the best!

Needs volume adjustment
The app is amazing now after the update, but the sound effects (beeps) is overpowering and annoying (very loud) especially when playing music while working out. I like my music louder than the voice prompts and beeps. Please add volume adjustment somewhere easily accessible while in workout mode. Update: Thank you very much for listening to your customers, this app makes a lot of sense now! After adding separate volume adjustments for voice and beep, you actually went above and beyond what I was hoping and asking for. I am enjoying this app now with my jump ropes to the max!

They are trying to sell the amp handles too much
I have used the app for a while, it’s simple any unnecessary because you can accomplish the same thing with a simple interval timer. I’ve had the subscription, it’s way too expensive, I already have hundreds of dollars of ropes and handles, so it’s a bummer they take the free jump counter away…should give a free subscription when you buy ropes, it’s pretty crazy because it’s such a simple app, and I can easily make up my own work outs, yet I still like using it….so I’m basically just crying

Comprehensive Program
I absolutely love my crossropes and the workouts/ programs the app provide. The workouts range from extremely moderate to ridiculously intense. Perfect for an everyday training tool. App is beautiful and easy to use/ understand. Tracking progress is extremely motivating and seamless in the app. Extremely portable which makes for an easy solution to training wherever you go. No more excuses! Also, the ropes are next level quality. You will never use another jumprope. Thank you to the crossropes for your amazing product!

I really want to like Crossrope...
but I have a couple of issues with the setup. First, I want to say I truly do like the Get Lean ropes better than any other jump rope I’ve ever used. Where I think there is vast room for improvement: There is not an apple watch app which makes accurate caloric and heart rate monitoring difficult at best and mostly just inaccurate. In the lite version, it gives you access to workouts, yes, but most of them require more ropes than what is offered in either the Get Lean or Strength sets individually. This either requires you to buy the bundle, or modify to the best of your ability given what you have. While a reasonable marketing strategy, I feel like they would get and keep more customers if you could choose a version of the Lite app that gave you a handful of workouts specific to your purchase. And yes, I understand that “The premium membership is an upgrade subscription for those who wish to have access to more...” but it is still frustrating as a customer to not be able to see the potential of your purchase as a stand alone set since that is an option for how the ropes are sold.

It never gets old
I have the old generation of ropes. Used them for 2.5 years. Still holding up. I have ropes from 1/4 lb to 5 lb. I’ve recommended them to coworkers and family. I travel often and they are the best workout for a person whose on the road a lot. My cardio has improved tremendously. Low impact on my joints. I finally have my teenage son and wife using the new generation of ropes. They love the new and improved handles and ropes. The app was good when it first was introduced but now it is offers so many options. Crossrope has and will be a part of my workout as long as I’m able to move.

Amazing!
I usually never write reviews but let me tell you why I’m writing this one...in the beginning I was so hesitant to buy the cross ropes because of the cost, but I decided to splurge and to get them, and I’m so happy with my decision! It’s really about being healthy and these ropes and app really motivate me to go workout! I have to say, I really do look forward to using this app and the ropes and it makes the workout fun! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Just think, it’s less expensive than any home gym equipment you could buy and these ropes you can take anywhere you want! Happy jumping!!

This app is awesome
The Crossrope app along with the Get lean ropes has greatly improved my cardio workouts. I started jumping back in June and haven’t missed a day since! So may options for each day allows me to change it up frequently. I love the Hiit routines, challenges, working on footwork, finally a cardio workout that’s Fun, and good for my body. I started with the Lite app and just recently upgraded to Pro. It’s money well spent just considering the filtering function along with the ability to count my jumps. I have my eyes on the speed pro LE rope set next! I highly recommend Crossrope to all my friends.
