Only problem I have with the app is when I am in the middle of the paragraph (or page), it would go back to the beginning of the page every 30 seconds or so and it gets really annoying.

Up to date radar

KRCG need someone who understands the Internet

What a terrifically terrible app. In this day and age, an app that won’t turn landscape is completely unacceptable. I have attempted to use this app on my iPad and find it to be just a giant portrait phone app. They need to put a little money and making this app right. You guys are missing the boat on app development. Hire a professional, rather than a high school kid!

Update needed

You really need to update the app with a landscape mode. To use it on my iPad I have to stop, undo the built in stand and lay the iPad on it’s back, or hold it in my hand to use it. Of course, I’m not going to do that very often, so I use a different local news app to see what’s happening locally.

Needs more work

Two issues with this app. First most of the news that shows up is about sports. To find the actual news you have to sort, filter, or open a sub-section. Second, the app looks terrible when you open it on an iPad. You need to either develop an iPad version or modify your existing one.

Pretty good local news app

I like it cause it has the news from my hometown area, since I work on the road a lot I can catch up in a quick minute with all headlines

Mostly pleased, BUT ...

... updates (particularly to the featured news stories) seem to be irregular, at best. For example, at the time of this review (June 17), all of the featured stories appear to be from June 13 (credit union robbery in CoMo, SWAT situation in JC, etc). I tried refreshing the app but the stories remained the same. Any suggestions?

Popup Ads are RIDICULOUS

Deleting app. Can't even read an article without Apple App Store opening. Ads on games are understandable, but completely ridiculous for a local news station app...especially when you can't close the popup and continue reading the article. It has forced me to download a competing local news station app.

It worked fine for awhile, but it's been a couple weeks since I've received breaking news updates and everything is set up correctly.

Glitches

This app constantly goes back to the home page when I'm in the middle of reading a news story. If it doesn't go back to the home page it automatically scrolls to the top of the news story page! Very frustrating!! Happy this app was free

Pop ups are a problem

Good information when you can read it. Most of the time you can't read a story because the App Store constantly pops up other apps to try to get you to download them. I just want to read a news story!

Not great

After the update the weather radar is pretty useless since half the screen is permanently covered by an ad. Also, why is 90% of news Columbia related? So much is not covered regarding actual local news, such as the Jays homecoming parade.

Too many ads!

Too many ads. It's annoying. I only use this app for any kind of breaking/local news. Otherwise, it doesn't get used very much.

Awful app, unless you like 10 pop up adds that send you to the App Store every time you try to look at something. Stay away

Terrible App

Inconvenient to use, poor set up, and no sports section--or even updates! I wanted to stay connected to my hometown while away at college. No chance I'm keeping this app.

Too often the news stories that show up are 4 days old and they won't update, not very helpful.
