I like this up-to-the-minute app that keeps me abreast of what’s happening in the Truckee Meadows and the world.

Channel 4 news definitely keeps me up-to-date on the mountain with chain controls in town with accidents what road you’re close /open. It definitely helps me out because I am a local truck driver based out of Reno. Please keep up with the good work.

This app crashes frequently. I don't know if it's just while using VoiceOver, which the visually impaired have to use to make the iPhone and iPad speak, but regardless, the developers should be testing that as well before releasing an app to the public. When I tried to go to the developer website to report the problem, there was no way to report it, so the only way to report it is to give it a bad rating. To keep from having negative reviews, or a high number of them, this should be fixed as well. Also, make the app better than your site! The same stories are available on the site and app at the same time, which is great, but the only advantage that the app has is the fact that we are notified of breaking news, but whether I will be able to actually read said breaking news story on the app is hit and miss, due to the crashing problem.

It spams you with weather notifications if you enable headline notifications (which I enable, because that's why I want a news app over going to a website). I've gotten 10 winter storm notifications within a minute. That's obnoxious and makes the app not worth the trouble. The "app support" button just takes you to their homepage so there is no way to contact them about this. Uninstalled it.

It's very simple and easy to read, however the latest app tends to not show "back" or "home" button on upper right corner once you click one article. I haven't read one other news for three days because it doesn't fix itself and I have no other options but to close the app. This isn't the first time. It happens a lot lately. They need to fix this problem or ill delete the app soon

Why can’t a news platform actually report the news without a slanted agenda? Why do the stories have to have disparaging, incendiary and exaggerated statements. Why can’t you just tell both sides and let your readers decide. I am so disappointed. I hope you can have the bravery to report news instead of forcing agendas. Goodbye I will never watch or read again.

I would rate this much better if it weren’t for the fact that it doesn’t run in landscape mode on my tablet, forcing me to disconnect from the keyboard and rotate the read easily. It’s been this way for years, and until they add landscape mode I’ll stick with KTVN for my news.

App does not work on the iPad. I just takes you to an introductory screen but does not let you get past it. It also will not let view on the wide screen of the iPad. I seems to work on the iPhone but I do not use my phone when reading the news. I use my iPad. I will have to view local news on another local station's app unless this one is fixed.

It's all pretty, but I sure wish I could read all the local headlines as a list and choose which articles to read instead of having to scroll though them all. If I read a breaking news article, it's about impossible to get back to local news. Navigation is impossible! :-(

What you are looking for is hard to access. When you get alerts and click on them, it does not take you to the story related to your alert. Constant unnecessary alerts involving minor stories or incidents.

KRNV app use to be fine. After the update, there are now annoyingly too many commercials. My biggest complaint.... A headline alert does NOT take me to the story! The alerted headline opens the app leading the user to dig for the story. Personally, I lose interest immediately and close the app. If this is their way to expose all stories.... It's stupid!!!

The app is nice but I miss getting notifications. I've checked my settings several times to make sure they are enabled and in fact they are. Please fix the bugs on this app!

Why is there a pop up about not connecting to the local host? It's been doing that for a while. Here's an idea. FIX IT! Deleted the app and all traces from my computer and still get error. Even got a new phone and still errors. This is just one more reason I don't watch channel 4.

Hard to find a single local news story after this latest update. I use to rely the on the app frequently. Now it is just taking up space.

I watch news 4 & want to keep the app. It’s not as user friendly as it once was. When I get a news alert & click on the link it opens the app that has nothing about the story I clicked on. Why send the alert if I can’t find the story?

Since downloading the latest version of this app, it does not work. It boots up, and shows the screens to tell you how to use the app - but I can't get past those 5 screens. I tried deleting and reinstalling- but I got the same result. I followed the links in the App Store for support, that led me to the news web site - but offered no tech support. If it makes a difference, I turned off notifications and location services when the app is not in use.

Since the new app was released, It has been lacking breaking news push alerts! Also, the app icon looks weird!

What happened to the traffic cams? I loved that! Plus time and date on the stories? Do like the other scopes though (beyond just local).

Please enable landscape mode specifically for the iPad version. Please add landscape mode. It doesn’t do any good to watch video in portrait mode only.

Used to be my favorite news app.... Then they updated it and changed its format. 😩. It's now such a pain to check the local news. Switching to another news app.

This is the worse!!!!! I no longer can get through to watch the news and having to repeat this message because I don't know what u mean by nickname is ridiculous!!!!!!

This app wad great until the last update and now it keeps crashing. Please fix!

Would be a great app if it would go to landscape mode for the ipad. This should be an easy fix since all the other news channels can do it.

Newest version does not work at all on iPad and is no more useful on iPhone. New format just lumps all stories into one list, poor design. Please rerelease previous version!

While we love KRNV 4 and Fox 11, we’d also appreciate a Fox 11 App. Higher star rating will come when Fox 11 has an App. Make certain that both apps will auto rotate to landscape.

You can't call this an upgrade when the user can't get past your introductory pages. Major Fail!

The info is fine but without a landscape mode for my iPad I am now deleting this app. No thank you. Time to get with the times.

When I go to about us, all I get is blank pages.

So disappointed in the changeover. Downloaded app did not work. Could get nothing to work! I'll get my news elsewhere.

Some update; can’t open the app, please fix

"No internet connection" pop up whenever I open the app. It crashes afterward. Even on wifi. Please fix this.
