This app is really a 5 Star! It has everything that I need to know and be kept informed on in a nice format that is not confusing or intimidating to use. If all other news apps were this good… I would be using them instead.
Intuitive to use. Informative as well as a great catalog of current and past stories. Didn’t have time to tune in or record, get updated here - wherever you are.
The first thing I open on my iPhone when I wake up. I live in Las Vegas and I check 13 Action News several times a day to see what’s happening around town! Love it.
I love how much videos there is to accompany the reports! Professional and seems to always be on the scene. The app always alerts me right away about important information.
I subscribed to the premium service in order to access local news. Since they killed this I now get lengthy commercials instead of local news and I get confusing messages about viewing news clips that gives me tiny screen images after another commercial. Also follow up news seems to never happen.
Relevant local news, not bias. Fair and detailed about what they report. I watch a few other city’s and Las Vegas should be proud of this station, other city’s new are very one sided (on the West Coast) Enjoy there honesty and professionalism.
It’s a great app for reading about local news but there are way too many Ads. It wouldn’t be so bad if they at least advertised different things. I’m tired of seeing Ads for “cleaning earwax”. EVERY ad is about cleaning earwax. C’mon.....
The amount of typographical and grammar errors in the stories posted in this news app are utterly embarrassing. Just one superficial example of how little this (fake) news agency cares about properly doing their job. They should stick to what they are good at; i.e. reposting casino and state propaganda.
When you want to view news you shouldn’t have to watch the same attorney for 29 to 30 seconds before viewing the news piece. Terrible changes. Now uninstalling.
The videos have adds playing while the newscasters are talking on the app. You can’t shut the adds off. When you swipe right to view the breaking news it goes black and shuts the app off
I really love how easy it is to use this app! Great upgrade. Sharing video and stories with contacts and on social media is so simple. Video boxes are nice and big. Nice to have a weather page so I can access it easily with one click. All my local information at my fingertips, and more!
This app is worthless. It’s nothing but corporate right-wing propaganda from the SCRIPPS overlords and advertising for the stupid hockey team. I’d give it ZERO stars if it were an option!
Let's face it, websites in Vegas get updated daily if you're lucky, rather than 'as news happens!' And forget it on the weekends. I've heard about local news on out of town websites before I read it locally. Pathetic. And pop-ups are very annoying as you're trying to navigate this page. Hire some great talent on air as well as off, and watch your ratings soar Channel 13. As long as I've been in Vegas, 20 years, this station has deteriorated. Best team was Daly/Ray!
I understand that commercials pay for things we get for free. But to watch news that is important information for all of us to know,(like the police needing the communities help identifying a robbery suspect)you are forced to watch a 15-20second commercial..also when they send you a notification and you swipe it so you can read it, it does not take you directly to that link. You have to sort through every other news story if its even there. This app needs work..don't waste your time.
Channel 13 KTNV News is very informative in regards to all local news for Las Vegas, Nevada. Your Breaking News events are usually within minutes of the actual occurrence. Having lived here for 65 years your channel is rated in the top two channels for news broadcasts. Keep up the Good work.
I have been using this app for local Las Vegas news for a year now. While I still use the local Fox and CBS apps for news, Channel 13 remains my favorite. I use OTA broadcasts for watching TV, and wish that I could get the Channel 13 signal to come in where I live in Paradise. :-(
You are all fantastic. Most especially when you people of their problems. I'm recording you 5pm and 11pm news everyday. Your channel 13 is the most watch news. You are all working so hard. Thank you.
This "new" version is horrible. Way too busy & there are more ads than news. "Skip ad button" doesn't skip anything. Menu option only refreshes screen. That the "read" stories & "watch" stories are combined is confusing. I have wasted too much time trying to figure out where the news is....btw, what good is offering news online if nothing is updated regularly, if at all...especially on the weekend? News 8 has you guys beat.

Love the app. Love the notifications when there is breaking news. The only thing that needs to be updated is that when there is a breaking news alert, there isn't a short paragraph or maybe a statement to stay tuned for updates.
We don't need anything from this app except local news. Text about current local events should be first and easy to find. Videos should second if wanted. I like to read more than watch a video. There are plenty of other apps for National and world news.
I used to use this app all the time but constant updates to the UI have just made it look ugly and cheap. And now they want to hold u hostage with this- take a survey to read the news-crap! Aww hail no. I swear corporate thinks people are just a bunch of mindless automatons who will follow whatever is dished out. Think again. 8news now has beefed up they're game and guess where I'm headed. Disgusted. Completely disgusted. Delete.
Not a great app. The weather forecast doesn't match the TV forecast, the staff roster is incomplete and, it says I can watch older newscasts but there isn't anywhere to find them. When I swipe to read a notification, it never shows up as an item to read. Too much video and not enough content.

My favorite Vegas News app - clean, simple, no mess app without the advertisements 👍 Breaking news notifications are great, but EVERYDAY it's someone got shot or stabbed. Would be nice to mix it up once in a while.
This app is really annoying. When I get the alerts telling me about breaking news and I clicked on it, it doesn't take me to that story. It takes me to the full app. THEN ... I get interrupted with game alerts. I don't want to play games. I don't want to download games. I'm guessing most people that have your app have your app for news not for games.
I travel and I sometimes have poor internet speeds. I love to stay in touch with what is going on in Las Vegas and Action 13 News is the best in Vegas. I wish they would fix the videos to play. When an advertisement tries to play it freezes.
This app used to be easier to use, and you had the ability to comment on the stories. Disappointed... This went from being the best to being the worst. It was much better before the "upgrades", they shouldn't have messed with something that wasn't broken.
The past two weeks it has chrashed my iPhone at least four times when exiting the app. Other wise would be good app minus the ads that display over everything, even while watching video
