The best Lego fun I’ve had in years
I love Mario and the new sets you released for 2024, (even though I don’t have them) I’m still having fun! I have been getting sets from my family and friends since Christmas of 2020. I have a few ideas for the future. 1. If you could do it some more, please have more character packs, we have only got 1 dry bones the entire series and there is a ton more characters you can add, especially since Super Mario Bros. Wonder came out. 2. Maybe have something like the character packs, but you would be getting a mystery yoshi! But we do need more different colored yoshi’s because you have released 4 DIFFERENT YELLOW YOSHI’S in the entire series! Their is only 4 different yoshi’s left so I think you guys could do it. 3. What happened to the poison sets? The last one we got was from 2021! 4. You need to bring back power up packs, there is more power ups now. Like Drill Mario, Boomerang Mario, Elephant Mario, etc. And maybe you could add some bowser’s fury sets also and bring back cat Mario. There is 1 thing I’m disappointed about is we need one more koopa kid, Roy. Maybe having a rocky area with a Monty mole and a parana plant and a rocky tower to knock down Roy and defeating him. Thank you for making great sets for everyone to enjoy and hope you have bricktastic year! (Also you made a mistake on the creativity toolbox set with blue yoshi’s cheeks, they were blue, but I fixed that with my own Lego parts.)

Can and will rate 5/5!
Hello! I am a very good Lego builder. I have built probably over 500 (if not more), and I also love Mario. I play the video games for him a lot, including super Mario odyssey. So, when I first heard about it on a commercial, I was so excited and I asked my mom if we could get it. Well, the day I got it was Christmas, a gift from Santa. I set part of my day to just building that, and let me tell you; IT. WAS. BREATHTAKING. I got the app for it (and got it for my phone too) and the instructions were so clear. Exactly like the instructions on paper, with 3D photos, but on a screen. So I got Mario is batteries and set him up. I felt amazed on what he could do! Recognize colors, do sound effects, and everything else in between! So, I was so excited about that, I got more expansion sets. Same quality, beautiful way of scanning, and interactive. I saw more, like challenges and videos. And, I update very often, like it is automatic. Literally. Then, a couple months later, their is a LEGO LUIGI!!! I was surprised and my emotions were all over the place. My mom preordered it, and I got it August 2nd or something like that. I got even more sets for Christmas, more expansion sets. I hope you guys keep up whatever you are doing, because I love this, and everyone around the world will. And make sure you keep us up to date! (And if you can, even make us a Lego Princess Peach for us the save. Lol.)

Update caused mario to not work properly
I opened the app on a few weeks ago but when it said mario needed an update, mario didn’t reconnect and now he is stuck in this Bluetooth phase. Now when I turn on mario he doesn’t say “lego mario time!” And the light at the bottom flashes for a second but doesn’t stay on. Also mario always has the flashing Bluetooth logo on his chest when I turn him on. I tried holding both buttons on him for ten seconds, didn’t work. I tried resetting my Bluetooth in my app settings for 5 seconds, didn’t work. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, didn’t work. I tried restarting my phone, closing other apps, taking mario’s batteries out, logging in and out of my lego account, nothing works. Even changing power up packs. Nothing works. Also when i try to update mario again, he crashes and the update doesn’t finish. And when i try to connect mario to the app, he connects without even touching anything and mario’s screen doesn’t change. I dont want to have to buy a new one because im broke, is there anything else i could do?

Awesome but some suggestions
I love this app so much but the recent updates and new sets make me take the 5 star to a 3 star here are some suggestions to turn that 3 to a 5. 1: the new world thing that separates your sets is kinda a disappointment. I expected it to be like the original version of the app where your sets are actually built into the setting and it’s moving all around them but then I got this and I was bummed out, please change it next time! 2: I saw the new sets that will come out and I thought, “These are just repeats of the previous sets!” . I don’t think I’ll be buying very many Lego Mario sets this fall because I have almost all the previous ones that are identical. Please bring us some new stuff! 3: I noticed that the starter courses were remastered. Does this mean that we’ll always have only THREE characters and only 2 player mode?!? I was expecting more characters to create some more awesome ways to play. Like maybe if there was even ONE more character there could be a team mode where you have 2 teams to compete for the most coins and free for all and many more. Please make at least one more character. Thanks for the amazing sets and please listen to my suggestions. Great app though. 2024 review

The App Is Great But Theres Several New Bugs
The App Is Really Good!!! I Like It The Previous Updates Were Bugless, But Now I Can’t Access All My Pictures! And I Cant Exit My Pictures And I’ll Have To Leave The Game.. Pls Fix These… NOW. And It Will Be Better Edit For Newer Update: This New Update Is Fine There’s No More Bigs But I Can’t Put A Caption On My pictures And My Sets Look Like They’re All Gone! (Actaully I can put a caption on there so it’s ok) And Also As You May Have Noticed By My Moms Emails To Lego, One Of My Mario’s Are Frozen into The Downlaoding Thing. I’ve Tried Every Single Thing But It Did Not Work. Luckily Thanks To My Aunt, A few months before that happened she got me a lego Mario set on Valentine’s Day. And I can still play lego Mario. Overall sometimes I might have to connect my Valentine’s Day mario to my ipad but I don’t wanna do that cuase im afraid that it might end up like my Christmas Mario (the first one) but yeah good app still (edit) TODAYS MY BIRTHDAY PARTY AND I GOT BOWSERS AIRSHIP 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Fun App with Update Problems
This is a great app that is required in order to build most LEGO Mario sets (that don’t include paper instructions). The instructions work well, and it’s great to see the collection in one place. Unfortunately, the recent updates have made the app quite a bit worse. It used to have a great screen that would pop up with small dioramas of all your collected sets together. My son and I both loved seeing them pop up when scanned, and the new mechanic to show example levels with your sets is slow and seems to only make pretty uninspired, straight level designs. I’d love to see the old collection screen come back. Finally, the new updates have also introduced some pretty significant bugs and problems with the app. We are no longer able to get Mario to connect via Bluetooth (even after turning off/on Bluetooth). Our new Luigi has never been able to connect. It also introduced frequent visual bugs in the instructions such as slightly distorted or sometimes even completely invisible LEGO pieces. I hope that they’re able to work out all these bugs soon, because we love the sets.

Used to work Great!
This app used to be fully functional on my iPad Air 2. We could see my sons digital collection and everything ran smoothly. Now after a few updates, it’s super LAGGY & Glitchy and we can no longer see my sons digital collection. Like NONE OF IT. Why can’t things just WORK? It’s crazy how they don’t keep up with older systems. I have a feeling that most of us will get left behind in a push by the establishment to keep us buying new technology every year. I for one am tired of this! I would like to continue to use what I have but it seems that as they upgrade it’s only made to fix problems for people with newer products. It’s rather frustrating! How hard can it possibly be to allow the older systems to be functional? An iPad Air 2 should still be allowed to be used and function properly. We are using 14.4.2 version. If this can be resolved for people like us that don’t toss out their technology every year that would be great! Otherwise it would be nice to just get the paper build instructions for mario lego sets if they can’t resolve issues for everyone across all platforms.

Great app and love the Mario sets!
I went crazy and have collected almost all of the sets (I have a problem, lol) but I love the interactivity of the LEGO. The app has been great, I personally like the digital instructions and having the 3D model to rotate around. I also really like the weekly challenges that they have and that we can share photos of our creations. But things that would be great if they add or change with a future update would be options for comments on shared photos (friendly of course), maybe even a way to follow favorite builders posts. I have to agree with others on how much it drains the battery on my iPad though. It also would be great if the app is synced across all devices so I don’t need to scan on each separate one. I think if there’s also a way to customize the 3D world that our sets pop up in after scanning would be cool. Again, I’m not sure if it’s doable, but in the 3D world if it can be laid out in a way we customized it, maybe by photo? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Other than that, this whole experience is super fun!

The bugs in the new app are not budging. LEGO please read this
Hey! Remember me? The person who says my LEGO Mario is busted? Well that LEGO Mario is history now. I just bought a new LEGO Mario and I went into the new app. And I noticed something really weird. When I connect Mario to Bluetooth, Mario looks down and the four dots that show that Bluetooth has connected to Mario, only three dots are filled. Then Mario freezes. His eyes freeze, the light at the bottom goes off, and the three filled dots freeze with only one dot yet to fill, and Mario is not connected although it makes the sound effect you hear to let you know that Mario is connected. I need a break. A broken LEGO Mario, now this. And if you ask, yes. I did try the pressing the Power and Bluetooth buttons and hold them for 10 sec method. And I also tried the Take off Mario’s torso method. And I couldn’t do a factory reset since Mario won’t connect to the app. Please send instructions.

Can’t even try it to review it
We purchased sets for our children and the app closes as soon as we tap “start. Sometimes we get a faint preview of the map area before it closes, but that’s the farthest we can get. Yes, we have deleted and downloaded the app again (three times.) We have force closed it. We have tried connecting by the internet (two different connections) as well as cellular service. We have created a login hoping that would help us advance. And we have had the same issue on four fairly new, up-to-date Apple devices, all of which are fully compatible according to the device guidelines. Thankful for the pdf instructions to build pieces, but we liked the idea of the connectivity of the map and it feels like a waste to purchase something you can’t use fully. Perhaps offering a website ability for the gameplay so that it can be played via a browser would be helpful? We’ll try again tomorrow like we have every day this week.

Great game!
I bought Lego Mario about 3 years ago, and have been using it ever since! I don’t use it to often, but when I do it cheers me up! Even though I only have like one expansion set, I love it so so much! I have experienced NO BUGS for the 3 years I’ve used this app. Whenever younger/kids my age are coming over, we always play this! I definitely do recommend to buy Lego Mario. If you prefer to not use instructions to build on the app, you can just print it out online! So convenient for when I have free time! Maybe in the next update, you could add an AR feature in the app like LEGO TECHNIC AR, where you can add someone like toad, talk to your Lego Mario/Luigi/Peach. Brings back nostalgia every time; from the time I started playing, and to now! It may have took a long time for Lego Mario to release, but still was worth the wait! Kudos to you guys at the Lego Company. -Lizzy

Lego!!!!!!!🧱🧱🧱
Hi people and devs. I just wanna say, Lego is so much fun!!!! And then you combined it with Mario and it’s even better, a dream come true. Keep up the Mario themed sets and I will keep buying more because Lego is goated.🐐🐐Thank you for doing this. My only complaint is for some reason if I connect Mario and peach together and we like give a present of fruit to each other or toad a little heart appears on their screens, symboling thankfulness, but there’s a flaw where after that if you touch something that’s interactable (like a green Lego piece which is grass) they will randomly make a exclamatory sound like they both did a jump flip together, but they didn’t. And if you step on like an orange or brown Lego a random heart shows up on the screen when nothing happened. Devs if you see this could look into it? Please and thank you for your time

Best Thing Ever!
I had first received a Lego Super Mario set as a present, and I had loved the series from day 1. Couple years later, and you guys still haven’t disappointed me yet. I’ve got all the characters, a nice handful of sets, and have plans to get more in the future. There’s not too many problems with them either, but few still isn’t zero. It’s mainly just some of the tags on the enemies, like how the Poison Mushroom tag, and the Parachute Goomba tag aren’t being read, they don’t register on any of the 3 electronic figures. And for some fathomable reason, every time Mario, Luigi, or Peach step on the Bowser Jr. tag, it starts the airship’s driving feature? Those are just the ones I have, but there might be some others. I’d love to see these get fixed in the near future, but other than that, keep up the great work Lego! 👍

Fun! But…
Hi! I’m a Mario fan and I love doing this with my brother! There is a few things missing that would be fun though… : 1- so the online thing is quite fun, but there’s no way to chat, comment, follow, or really interact with anyone at all except ❤️s and ⭐️s. And you don’t even know you get it until you check that project! It might be a safety thing though, and that’s alright. 2-when you put on a power outfit (like bee Mario, or cat Mario) and you put it on Luigi, it doesn’t show on the picture! But it does when you do Mario, it’s honestly kind of annoying, because it still works on Luigi. 3- sometimes it says ‘picture not approved’ because it’s blurry! Is it an AI checking it? I would like the actual creator to approve or disapprove of the pictures. 4- it would be easier if there where words to the tutorials, like, “this block has 5 dots, that’s how you can find it” because sometimes pieces are really similar and hard to tell which is correct. Really, it’s pretty great! It’s safe and appropriate, and there’s no gore. I would still recommend it if you like Mario and building, and I love how when you connect them it tracks your course and coins, that is really fun. So if you’re reading this, don’t focus on the bad things please, try to focus on the good things I’ve said (but note the bad things too, just to keep in mind ^^) Alright! Bye thanks for reading my review 😁

PLEASE Bring Back the Old Set View
My son used to LOVE browsing through the little world created by all the sets we’ve collected. He’d literally just sit there looking at them and enjoying them all. Can you please, please bring that feature back? The new thing that makes a random path is also nice, but it’s not the same for him. It’s also very buggy, it seems like it can take up to several minutes for it to refresh (why??). So he does enjoy it, but it’s kind of frustrating since he really likes refreshing it to see what he gets. The app is a very fun way to build and explore your sets, but I don’t understand why you had to remove such a basic feature as seeing all the sets laid out in the world. Having a visual representation of the collection was super great.. and a nice motivator to keep buying sets, seems like it’d be in your best interest to bring it back! And I do know you can see the sets you’ve collected in the instructions views, but it’s not the same. He enjoyed seeing them displayed in the world… was it perhaps too onerous to continue making those dioramas as new sets come out? It seems like it shouldn’t be *too* much effort above whatever is required to make the path-builder work. Thank you for reading!

What happened to this app?
I remember this app being cooler when it started. It would feature awesome course building ideas, I even took pictures of some to keep in mind. The app would showcase the expansion sets added into the main page of the app. It was really awesome whenever I add a set into the app, it would magically appear on the main page, and it was so cool to see. Now the main page of the app is just blank grassy plains, with a loading logo in the corner, where I think it was meant to give ideas on a course to build, but the problem is the course building doesn’t work every time I open the app. And now there are no course building ideas. I appreciate trying to change up the app, but I think the changes made hindered the playability of the app to the point where I only use it whenever new sets are released. I much prefer the way the app was before. I do hope this constructive feedback is taken into consideration; because I love LEGO Super Mario. I have waited since my childhood for something like this, and to finally see it become a reality is a childhood dream come true. I wish to see the LEGO Mario App be used at its full potential.

Amazing products but has some problems with the app
I love this I have a lot of sets and just got lego Luigi it’s amazing but the app the building is so easy but when I scan my sets it doesn’t show so it only thinks I have super lego Mario and super lego Luigi. Also there is a little problem hooking them up more than half on the time when I’m trying to connect them I have to shut my phone all the way off and then back on and half of the time it still doesn't work. From the positive point of view amazing but they should add character like donkey Kong or the princess and more of Mario’s friends. Also you could add a Luigi Polly buster as an attachment since Mario has all of these power ups If the developers could fix it this would be awesome and would give this a 10/10 since I already spend hours playing these thank you

I am a very huge Super Mario fan and I have always have been a fan of Mario and when I got a super Mario Lego set I was so excited and when I heard there was an app and games you could play I was so excited but that wasn’t the best part because that part was that you can make your own level and show it to other people. I also have some ideas I would like to talk about to at least add and those ideas are things such as to add a little bit more of some mini games and that you can join your friend and build and create stuff together but overall I love this app and I really appreciate that you made this app thank you and have a great rest of your day

Mario keeps crashing
First of all, I really strongly enjoy the lego mario sets, and I love building these sets and playing them out. However, as of the most recent update, I can’t get mario to connect to my tablet nor my phone. Any time I attempt to connect, after pressing the blutooth button on mario, he makes a noise and his screen shows the 4 dots like normal, but then all of a sudden, he freezes. Mario’s screen won’t change, he won’t make noise, and he can’t even be turned off with the power button. The only rhing I can do is remove the batteries to reset him, and I can bo longer connect him to my Ipad. The same issue happens when I try to connect bim to my phone. Before I updated mario this morning, He connected just fine, but afterward, he continues to crash every time. I would appreciate if you could fix this bug please. Otherwise, this is a great app, othee than this detrimental glitch.

App ok but logging in makes it not work, missing some expected features
Being logged in to my Lego account when I open the app makes the Start pipe text turn to a few dots, and tapping it does nothing. I have to log out of my account to be able to “Start” the app. Logging in after I’ve done that seems to work, in terms of being able to connect to the Lego Mario toy and use other features, but when I log in it puts me back at zero coins instead of loading my history, so that part can be pretty frustrating. It doesn’t seem like it’s doing what it’s supposed to. Other than that the app has useful features, like the instructions and the randomiser. People should be told that the instructions don’t give you a complete walkthrough of a setup, just how to assemble separate components. Some personality types may be frustrated that the instructions don’t get them to what’s pictured on the box. One feature I liked is being able to name and save your adventures/levels, but I expected to be able to select them again in the future when we build the same thing. I couldn’t find a way to do that. All in all, the app is useful, but in terms of game play, it adds more frustration than usefulness, compared to just playing with the Lego Mario toy with the set.

I am not able to get in to the app.
When I go to use the lego Mario app it will show a loading icon and then as it is supposed to it shows me the start button, here is where the problem happens, It gives me a black screen and then kicks me out. I have tried closing the app and getting back on along with deleting the app, restarting, and then downloading it, and then just restarting and getting back on but nothing will work. That is really the only problem besides me rarely not being able to access instructions (which I have fixed so do not worry). I would love to tell you I like it but I can not get in. The problem has been fixed, Thank You so much!

App Crashes - Does Not Work
Leaving a 1 Star review as a placeholder. I want to say 1st and foremost that we love LEGO products. My son and I love building sets together. But.... the new Mario Starter Kit App is not working. Very disappointing for an 8 year old who just got 3 of the sets for Christmas and cannot build them or sync to the app. There were a lot of tears tonight between getting the App downloaded and having it crash every time you connect Mario then click start. On top of that the Starter kit was missing a lot of parts and the set is sold out mostly everywhere. Trying to get parts shipped from Lego also takes weeks so that won’t be an option. I figured out the only workaround to get the app not to crash is to turn off WiFi and Cellular Data. You have to put it in Airplane mode and then it won’t crash. It will tell you that you are not connected to the internet when you use this workaround. This is how we got the building instructions and realized the set was missing a lot of pieces. I have no apps running in the background and also have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. I work in IT so I know the ins and outs of these devices and IoT. Hopefully Lego developers are reading these posts so they can fix the app. It is not only on an iPad but iPhone also ( I have a new iPad and use an iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 14.3). Once app is fixed, I will update my review.

Poorly designed and pass the cost to you
Instead of just printing instructions like every other Lego set, you have to download this app on how to build the sets, then you have to create and setup a lab account. And you have to register all the sets. If the set isn’t registered you can’t view the instructions. And the app doesn’t save the settings; even if you login to the account it forced you to make. So when you go back in you have to re-register everything again. This app takes up too much space on the phone, is annoyingly difficult to use versus just a simple book, and complicates the heck out of building legos without adding any value; it degrades value. Please just book instruction books in the sets. I’ll pay an extra $5 or whatever just to have a printed book. It’d be greener rather than having to use lithium battery and fossil fuels constantly to keep devices charged.

This makes me sad
I’m back! Some things need to be fixed please. I have recently gotten some of the new Lego Super Mario August 2024 sets. So obviously I have to update my old Lego Mario figures. I don’t really know how to say these other sentences, but whenever I update the electronic figures with the app it makes the interactions different for my old sets. It makes me so sad because now I will never see or hear those old interactions ever again. Please change this. This will probably confuse you but you can keep the new interactions but change it for the old interactions. To make it sound more clear if it was in that set but got changed in an update change it to be the old version. Ok thats all it would make me so happy if you did that. Ok bye!

Update gave Mario a bug
The app it’s self is cool. My son like the building instruction and the map of his personal sets. There was an update that needed done and started automatically but after it loaded we are not able to connect our Mario to the app. We did EVERYTHING we could to restart or fix it. Nothing worked so we bought a new starter kit with a new Mario and tried setting it up. The app said the Mario needed an update (just like the first one) and did it automatically. AGAIN after the update our Mario still will not connect to the app to load the new sets or suites. My only conclusion is there is a bug in this app or upload that needs fixed. I’ve spent a lot of money and repurchased Mario’s and had the same issue, so it’s not the Mario. Please fix this so our Mario will work with the app again.

Great toys, app needs attention
My son and I have built almost every Lego super Mario set. Literally. These toys are absolutely wonderful. Every time we get a new set the old ones come back out and provide hours of great, fun, imaginative play. My son really loves that the instructions are on the app. When new sets are released he goes through the instructions over and over so that, by the time his birthday rolls around and he gets a new set, he is already quite familiar with the build. The problem is that it is often really hard to connect Mario and Luigi to the phone. I have an iPhone XR, and it has no problem connecting to Bluetooth devices routinely. But, especially when it is time to update the firmware on Mario and Luigi, they won’t connect to the app, or, they’ll connect but they won’t complete their updates. My son actually hates to “scan” in a new set because connecting Mario or Luigi is so often a cause for significant delays. I hoped that Lego would have sorted this out by now, but it seems not to be so. I suppose they will keep getting my money, and the money of my friends and family, because these toys are awesome. But I hope they fix the issues with the connection soon! Frustrated dad

The app needs to be fixed ASAP (Don’t give a answer bot response)
It seems I’m not the only one who is having problems with Lego Mario. Lego Mario will not update. When I try it says an error occurred. When I turn it on all it shows is the connect Bluetooth screen and Mario is looking at it gritting his teeth. Like he’s gonna kill someone. He doesn’t say lego Mario time for some reason and when I turned it off it turns off without saying see you later. It’s quite terrifying. I don’t like that the sets don’t appear anymore when you scan them. Nothing works. No goomba stomping no yoshi talking no bowser clomping no nothing. The connect lego Mario screen is quite buggy as well. I have only had one other time that an app was this buggy. It needs to be fixed. The only reason that it’s not one star is because it’s a huge glitch and the app itself is great. Plx fix

My LEGO Mario STILL ISN’T WORKING!
I know other people have been experiencing this exact same problem of the Mario getting frozen or Bluetooth not working or something like that. I’ve tried everything to get my LEGO Mario to stop freezing up, but nothing works. Even the app update doesn’t help. When I cut the Mario on, he starts with his usual:” Lego Mario Time!” But when I try to connect it to Bluetooth (which is enabled for the app, by the way.) to play a play challenge or build a set, it tells me LEGO Mario is connected, but then his screen freezes up on the four complete loading dots and then says it’s disconnected. I don’t know if the update isn’t working, if it’s just a simple bug, or I just flat out broke my LEGO Mario. I would love to hear your feedback on this and I guarantee many other people would too.

I assume great
Ok so I have not tried the app because I do not have the sets but I see lots of potential. An idea for the sets is have one that has lots of enemies so we can design courses with enemies placed wherever and have a higher limit. It’s sort of like what you did with LEGO Minecraft. Maybe add more power ups like the boomerang suit, the superball flower, and maybe even the weird Mario power up (though that’ll be hard to design.) Incorparating Mario odyssey sets will definitely add some spice. The spiciest one would be the ruined dragon boss battle (why does it look like it’s from dark souls?) Anyhow I see potential as high so keep building up these sets for all their worth.

Why do I have to download a 2gb app to build a set?!
I bought one of the sets because it looked cool and might as well. I come home and open it had no instructions. Whatever so I go to download the app, which is 2gbs. So I go to the lego instructions app which has all the instructions for their sets, and k see the same thing telling me to download this app. I am very annoyed that I have to download a 2gb app to build a set. And I go to the app and it's just an animated instruction manual that could have been on the other lego app. I hated the instructions, I would have just preferred a manual, digital at least. Just annoying that I cant use the other app to build any of the sets. Update: The website lead to the paper inside the box telling me that the free instructions are the Lego super Mario app. Not very useful.

Love the sets, app can use work
Edit; Update We still hate the level mixer. Change it back to where it showed all the sets on the screen. Lego super Mario sets are great. My 5yr old loves them and they are rather fun to play with him. However he (and I) both don’t care for the new Home Screen. He loved how it was before where he could see all the sets he had laid out on the Home Screen. They each had their own little theme and he could scroll around and see them. Now they have where little bits from different sets line up in a row and never does it actually show the whole sets. He has to go to the instructions page to see what sets he has. We both really enjoyed look at the older Home Screen compared to the new one. The new one is just boring.

New powers
So Mario wonder came out recently and there are SO MANY NEW POWERS so all I ask is for those sweet new powers I understand it may be hard to make updates for the Lego Mario peach and Luigi and also hard to make the powers and when they put the updates to it. But that is all I ask from you guys Lego Mario is my favorite series by Lego so thank you so much for reading and please answer this and tell me if you can or cannot do it I promise to respect it if you are not able to do these but if not than please tell me why you can’t do these requests but that is all I ask so thank you once again for reading I appreciate it. Thank you so much

We need the course ideas back and the preview courses on the start screen!!
Ok so I remember when before this new update it would show you all of the lego set you had and it would make tiny biomes for the sets you had and it was really cool seeing it when I opened the game. Okay next is the course. Ideas I think it was in the community post but it was screen shots of a random course based on what Lego sets you had it was fun I had a lot of time playing with it but really after this update now I have no imagination I don’t know what type of course to build so I don’t know what to do with Lego Mario Now okay well thanks for reading this even though the developer response is probably a bot

My kids ❤️ Mario
I think this is one of the easiest apps to navigate. The instructions are step by step and show you exactly which pieces you need and where they go I find it much easier than flipping through a book. My 4 year old loves putting the sets together and they are so easy for him to follow and if he gets a little confused where they go you can move the pic around to see exactly where it goes. And if something breaks all you have to do is go on your phone not try to find the instructions. I do wish they would come out with some more interactive games or something like that on the app, I feel like younger kids would really love this.

Fantastico!!!!
As you can seen from the title, I have high opinions of this app. I think it’s fantastic that you can connect the Mario and Luigi figs to your phone for more interactive play. You are also able to view the components in an alterable 3D view(nice touch lego, as alway you guys are ———ing geniuses). I love how you can also view the different sets to see how they work, so that you don’t have to depend on online reviews. The only things I have against this app is that it needs to feature more fun features, the figs should come updated so you don’t need to update them upon receiving them, and you should earn rewards for the sets you have since the app is able to tell which you have.

great app
great app I use it on my mom's ipad. I do, however, have one major problem with the app, and that is the lack of options. Ya see, with lego mario you only get 60 seconds with no way to change it, or any other things like what comes out of ? blocks. I only care about changing the time, and think we should be able to make anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, and also an option to turn off the time limit entirely. It would also be nice to change the odds of what you get in ? blocks too, but I only really care about the time issue. other than that, GREAT APP!!!

Good app but...
We all love Mario and we all love LEGO but this app needs some work. problem one: online content. it’s not that I think anything’s inappropriate but it’s so annoying that you have to sign in to LEGO instead of just using it with your Nintendo account more people have Nintendo accounts then they do LEGO accounts I mean this is Mario right not the LEGO movie 2 movie maker. Problem two: not enough battery space. When we got this Mario set in the mail today and no this is not a review from aug 1st as soon as we turned the mario on he worked but when we downloaded this app the toy was already at 98% we do not want to have to give him new batteries every day. But other than that it awesome 😎 app 99% would recommend. -Arthur

App crashes
At first everything was great when I first got the Mario starter kit with other sets to connect, 2 weeks ago when trying to connect Mario to the app it said he needed an upgrade so I did that and now he won’t connect back to the app. I also got the Luigi starter kit yesterday and he also won’t connect to the app. The app says it upgraded “both” of them but they won’t connect and the app crashes immediately after I can’t see any pictures it’s just boxes everywhere. I’m still happy that Mario and Luigi are working without the app but it would be awesome if they had their own profile to collect their coins etc. Please fix this! My son loves to use the app and is pretty disappointed it isn’t working properly.

Do research before you buy.
I love the sets and I have the starter pack, Bowsers castle (super awesome) the Yoshi And Monty mole expansions. I do wish that they provided an instruction booklet with the sets so my sons would not have to use our phones or devices. We use Legos as a family distraction from devices and my kids have a dedicated playroom pretty much solely dedicated to their legos. I’m hoping that lego and Nintendo collaborate on a Lego/Mario Cart Live version (as a side note) I also wish they would launch a Luigi and Princess expansion. The app needs a little work and building sets is a little more work without the booklets. I definitely would not recommend for parents wanting their kids to unplug and for the littles you have to be with them pretty much the whole time to halo them navigate the app to build.

Lego Mario is great! But he has some errors.
Lego super Mario is a great game and has a great app, but he has 2 errors. One happened two months ago, and the other happened today. The first one is his eyes animations are having errors like when he has x eyes, instead he has happy eyes. I did fix the error but another happened today. When Mario falls he says, “Oof!” And his eyes are shut for a second. But in the series 2 update, Mario’s eyes don’t shut. Is this an error or a mistake in the update? Then his mouth was frozen after making him dizzy by shaking him, but then his mouth was frozen after he got dizzy. I did fix that error except the not shut eyes error. Please fix all of these errors! I don’t want Mario having an error again! ☹️

Works Well But We Miss The Collection Display
My son and I enjoy the app and it works well but to get 5 stars from us you would need to bring back displaying the sets we have collected. My son was always excited to see the new one pop up after we scanned it. The replacement feature feels like a cheap replacement that we rarely use due to the boring levels suggestions it gives. I will say that my drive to buy my sets to complete my son’s collection have gone down after that feature was removed with no reason given. I hoped to see it come back but I believe it has been close to a year since it was removed.

Three reasons this is seems wrong
This is not hate but I have the sumo tower but I didn’t realize that it did not came with a lego Mario (I wanted Luigi he my fav) but the thing is does the starter pack have to be expensive like it’s not hate but you buy it you have to buy batteries and the starter pack only comes with a few things 2.if you get a lego Luigi then try to connect it to the app and you don’t have a lego Mario does it need you to get a lego Mario first? 3.is there going to be more characters in the future that are playable like example In new super Mario bros wii there was yellow and blue toad (well blue toad is in a set not playable but you get it right RIGHT!? AHHH) but maybe it will be fun :)

What happened to the dioramas?
Up until the last couple of patches, my son and I have loved this app. We’ve collected almost all of the first two waves of the lego Mario sets. His favorite part of the experience has been coming home and scanning the set after being built so he could see the diorama that would pop up on screen. Now that experience is gone. He’s no longer near as excited to buy the next wave of toys. I told him maybe they will patch that back in but it has yet to happen. He asks daily if they have “fixed” the app yet and unfortunately I have to keep giving the bad news. If this was still available the app would definitely get 5 stars.

Great!…….when it actually works.
This app is becoming extremely frustrating. It worked great for awhile. Then I have no idea what happened. All my sons sets disappeared and nothing wants to scan back in. I’ve tried EVERYTHING! Deleting and re-installing the app. Resetting Mario. Resetting all the sets. Turning on and off Bluetooth. Nothing is working!!!!! The sets won’t scan back in. There is only one set when we open the app and it is in a straight line not the usual layout. Please fix this!!!!!! Legos are the only thing my autistic child is interested in right now and they are helping him so much with being verbal and narrating things and helping him with his dexterity. Please. Please. Please fix this.

A new perspective on Lego building.
Edit: Issue was server related and has been fixed. Now that this is fixed, I must mention this app is pretty nice because you can rotate the 3D model and get a better perspective which paper instructions obviously cannot provide. Original Review: “The app is great... when it works. I went to build the new Lego Super Mario w/ Yoshi set with my daughter and we can’t get the app to work on both her iPad Mini and my iPhone 11 Pro Max. The fact that the Lego box itself doesn’t contain any instructions means that we cannot build our set. This is very disappointing. The app opens, I hit Start and it closes. This is with zero running background applications.”

Like it, but why are you forced to use an app?!
I like the concept of using apps to build Lego sets, but there is one major flaw with this: there isn’t a physical option for this. Whenever I build a new Lego set I get for Christmas, I like listening to music or watching things on my phone while I build. The app plays really, stupidly annoying music in the background and I can’t figure out where or how to turn it off. I would love these sets way more if it just came with a traditional book that actually tells me how to build it. EVERYTIME I open the app it asks for my age. Overall, I think this app has some dumb problems that could just be so easily fixed.

The updates always seems to make things worse.
It used to work great until they updated it. Since the update it has been very difficult to get Mario connected via bluetooth. The app itself doesn’t appear to work correctly as the Home Screen more about adds than anything else. Mine used to show off all the sets I owned and when adding a new set would have a fun little animation. Now I add a set and I’m not actually sure if it’s really been added, the main screen shows random sections of sets sort of strung together, none of which makes any sense. I hope they fix it soon and might be worth spending a little extra time making sure the next update is right before applying it to the masses…

Frustrated parent
I got my son the Mario legos not knowing all the instructions were on the app. Spent a day downloading the app which was the start of my frustration as it took longer than expected to download and my 5 yr old had to wait. Once the app was finally ready it was very easy to use. My son was able to figure it out and had a blast making his legos. However I tried yesterday multiple times throughout the day to open it for my son to work on another set and the app kept shutting down. It would never stay open for longer than 3 seconds. My son and I were sad because we wanted to build all night for New Year’s Eve. Tried again this morning and the app won’t open. This is very frustrating and I don’t understand why it doesn’t work anymore.

Pretty Cool App & Birthday Present Ideas!
This App is pretty cool I’ve gotta say! The Sets I have in the game are… - LEGO Luigi Starter Course - Piranha Plant Puzzling Challenge - Lakitu Sky World - Reznor Knockdown (I haven’t put it on the game yet) Then there are some sets that I have gotten, but I have took them apart, and put them in my LEGO box. - LEGO Mario Starter Course - Chain Chomp Jungle Encounter - Super Mushroom Surprise - Guarded Fortress - Whomp’s Lava Trouble - Desert Pokey Then this is a set that I haven’t opened yet. - Bee Mario Power Up Pack Here are some figures that I got from Blind Bags. Series 1 - Urchin Series 2 - Bone Goomba - Huckit Crab Series 3 - Galoomba Series 4 - Para Biddybud - Freezie - Goombrat - Bully - Stingby - Baby Penguin - Ant Trooper Now I need to tell you something. When I first showed my little sister, Lila, a Trailer for the new LEGO Peach Starter Course and new sets, she was super excited. So I planned to get her some LEGO Mario sets for her birthday. Which is coming up. I’m planning to get her… - LEGO Peach Starter Course - Yoshi’s Gift House I hope she’ll LOVE them!😍😍😍😍😍
