May have saved my life (or at least the quality of)
At 55 I was burned out, fat, going down a depressed road to diabetes. After my school district switched insurance plans I discover smart health program. Originally I started doing activities to get the reward of money, but I very quickly became aware of the fact that I really wanted to improve my health situation. I slowly over the last year have picked activities to help me do that. Some mental, some physical, and some informational. Safe to say my whole outlook on my future is changing for the better. I have lost 25 pounds so far. My a1c is down, blood pressure is back to normal cholesterol is good and improving etc. I recommend anybody participating. No matter your situation there are activities to help you improve. Success builds as you go.

Good but not great
To be completely honest, a lot of the use of this application is dependent on the individual user. I like the fact that they add new things on a regular basis and give you the opportunity to try new things. One of my concerns, as a semi disabled veteran, walking 10,000 steps a day is not possible. I wish there were other opportunities to walk that don’t require 10k steps a day. This might seem trivial, but every time I take a look at that number, I feel frustrated. It is highly unlikely that I’ll ever walked 10,000 steps a day on a regular basis again. Otherwise, I think this app has great opportunity for many people trying to achieve a balance in their life. I would absolutely recommend this to my friends. If nothing else, logging in every day can provide you an internal glimpse of your own dedication. At the end of the day, what we get I don’t life has a direct correlation to what we put into it. We are seldom rewarded for doing the things that we should be doing already. If any improvement were to be made, I would recommend an evening alert to let you know if you have not logged in and recorded that days activities. Sometimes the day gets away from you, and you simply forget to document your achievements.

Thoughts
I really enjoy the webinars. I do not have a computer at home and sometimes we are too busy at work to get onto limeade every shift to see what new things are available and so sometimes I miss deadlines to begin high point webinars. Since you offer to a long timeframe to watch them why close out who can join? There are times I can do a few at a time and get caught up. Also, I swear I do not get points posted for things I’ve completed but nowhere does it say who to contact about this nor is there a place to see where I’ve been given the $90 on my paycheck after I’ve completed a level. It just says the date completed. Who do we contact for dates of payment? Now that we cannot go back and see checks from more than a few months back it is frustrating not knowing when the payouts were given. My payout for the year doesn’t reflect the level I’m at. Thank you for reading. Also I hope you can off more team walk challenges I enjoy those. And maybe something the outpatient groups can do. The high point lunch and learns are first shift base and liberty oriented so I guess more high point individual options would be helpful to people like me.

Motivating and empowering
Limeade is so….motivating. It has activities customizable to an individual’s interest and likes. Each activity is obtainable while motivating you to complete a new challenge continuously. The mindful activities makes you feel, for a moment, you are in your own tranquil world where stress and anxiety doesn’t reside. The exercise regimen produces results that inspire you to keep going. I have lost a total of 31 pounds since I started doing the Limeade exercises and changing my eating habits since it was introduced almost to Northwestern Mutual two years ago. In less than a year, I went from 207 pounds to 176. I am happy with the strides I am making to reach and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Way to go Limeade!

Loving this!
My husband is doing this program through work, and I decided to also join! This has been great incentive for us! We look at the little challenges as a challenge to ourselves to make sure we can check it off and get the points! We are both down 20 pounds since we started! Kicking sugar, eating healthier, exercising, and looking at the ingredients in our food! All great challenges on limeade! I like that you incorporate other challenges too! For example the money debt challenges! Being able to complete the challenge of paying off a reoccurring debt gave us the push to pay off our mini van! One less bill every month! Loving this!!! Thank you!!

Loving it!
Only had the app for about 15 minutes. It’s nice to stay connected to your personal health. Things that can help at anytime through out the day or things you can do to help others within the blog. Also, some of us may not realize we have certain issues going on in our life until we take the self-assessment and they have been pinpointed. So, it’s nice to have them pushed out to you in data and articles. That way we can try to better ourselves if we know the underlying issues. So far this is way better than before.

Great app, minor bug.
I like the app. I find myself trying a little harder than I normally would to complete goals, especially team challenges. The app has made a difference for my overall health and wellness. One minor issue- on the “improve“ screen and particularly for “step challenges”, if I don’t enter steps before midnight that day it doesn’t log them on the correct day. It doesn’t matter if I change the day at the top of the activity. Case in point: I tried to log 9k steps for Friday on Sat. AM. I changed the day dropdown on top of screen to Friday & logged my activity. When I look back at the activity it shows the steps for Sat. & 0 for Friday. Workaround is to use the website to log activity. Please fix, then the app is 5 stars.

You gotta be kidding me
What a piece of junk. Slow as it could possibly be. It took 10 minutes to work my way through the registration screens, and it's been so slow that I can't sync it with my device. If it weren't for the healthcare bonus offered by my employer, I would uninstall immediately. I'm beginning to think, however, that you could not pay me enough to use this app. There might be something good on the other side, but for now it's the essence of bloat ware and spyware. It turns over a disquieting amount of personal information to my employer. Not sure that this level of intrusion should even be legal. At the very least, fix the speed issue. All my other apps, including some that are far more sophisticated than this one, run just fine, so don't talk to me about needing to upgrade. This is even slower than the previous snail record holder: MS Outlook. It's quite an accomplishment to do that, guys.

Great but not perfect for Apple Watch users
Love the app. Has a pretty user-friendly layout. The one downside I have noticed is it’s translation of information from the Apple Watch. It allows you to sync the health app, but not the activity app. I’ve noticed that it takes my steps from my iPhone and not my Apple Watch. I am always wearing my watch but not always carrying my phone on my person. Is there a fix for this? Or any hope that the availability to connect the activity app will come? The activity app also includes workouts and it would be nice to have this information translate to Limeade, as I use this app to participate in events that my company does to put money into my Health Savings Account.

I want to use it
I’ve really tried to use this app this year and was successful for some time. I am disappointed that every time I have tried to use it for the second half of the year it crashes on me. I can’t use it and it can’t help me if the app won’t even open. I have not had this issue with any other app. I like the idea of doing weekly ‘classes’ and began one of those but none of my points were counted after three weeks in even though I completed the instructions. Just trying to give some honest feedback for improvements that would help myself and others. I do like the app and what it’s trying to accomplish!

Love the idea. Loving the app
I just found out about this app and I’m loving it. Have high expectations and think this will help me so much every day. Thank you. PS: My app keeps constantly sending me a message that “ooops. We’ve had an error here. Please try again later”. It just keeps popping up over and over again even when I’m not really loading or interacting with the app. I also tried syncing the app with my activity tracking app but when I open the page to connect then nothing opens. It’s just a blank page with “apps and devices” on top. :/

Really enjoying this app
There is so much helpful information here - take the time to explore and you’ll see activities and instruction that actually applies to real life. Some have even helped me understand my husband’s struggles! The only thing I have a problem with is a couple of the activities that won’t load - I keep getting a notice that the page I’m looking for (by clicking on the lessons) does not exist. Interestingly, they are the ones that Limeade tracks the points automatically once you’ve completed them. I’ve contacted Limeade tech support several times and they are working on the issue.

Fun, Engaging, & Looks Great
First off, the images and pictures throughout are beautiful. The app is easy to use, I love the ability to log activities from my phone rather than having to log in to my computer. Team challenges are fun and I love the ability to track how my team is doing, and how I'm doing within my individual team. Update: Daily is awesome. Love seeing the trends between well-being, sleep, and work. The instant activity recommendations are really cool. Only downside is if you miss a day it breaks up your graph and there's no way to track for previous days.

Exploring life balance & mindfulness
Limeade provides many excellent opportunities to explore communities & avenues based on my own personal needs. Especially during this pandemic when we cannot travel or see friends & family that we live away from, it has opened the door to other areas of focus on my own well being, which impacts my life & relationships & attitude with others & helps me to be pro-active about happiness rather than react with negativity based on the state of the world due to pandemic, racism & politics. So grateful every day & trying to pass on gratitude!

Grateful
I’m grateful that Honda has the foresight to encourage associates to be healthier. Ultimately it your own personal responsibility to maintain your own health but the connect to your wellbeing makes it fun and rewarding. My wife had gotten into it as well and is now excited about getting healthier. She had even completed a 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles) in April, 2020! We also enjoy the $50 and $100 incentives if you achieve enough points! We both got the $150 last year!. Our goal is that we both achieve the 5000 points each this year again!

Great tool!
I have been using this wonderful tool, through my health care provider for a number of years now. I have learned a lot! It has been most helpful, and reminds me to take care of myself, as I navigate this busy world. I have noticed many improvements in the past few years. I love the short videos with questions and feedback, and the fact that you can review it again if you want. Thank you for helping me care for my mind, body and spirit!!

Feeling Good About Myself in 2018
I think this is a great motivational booster, for myself and a lot of other couch potatoes. When I started this in 2017 I really didn’t know how far I would go, but now in 2018 I’m still eating healthy, working out more, and feeling and doing better, I must admit I still have a long way to go, but not with the home program I’m doing I will get there. Update: I’m still trying to get healthier, with my eating and working out, my doctor visit in February of this year I was at 272lbs. Now On Tuesday August 13th, my weight has declined to 240.7

Slow slow slow, super slow
This must be the slowest app I have ever used in modern time. Even being paid by my employer to use it, I still detest checking my count. It takes about 5 minutes before I am able to get to my step count total. I don’t even get to explore any where else in the app because it is unusable. Who want to watch a spinning loading circle minutes on end, until the phone screen times out and goes to sleep, wake back up the screen to continue watching the spinning circle some more. I do not have time to just sit around waiting on a loading screen. I just go back to the Fitbit app to check. I have never used an app this slow and once this promotion is over, this app is getting immediately uninstalled.

Try It
I kept putting this off because my days were already full. I didn’t have any time to spare! When I finally tried it over the quarantine break I quickly became addicted and could kick myself for not starting sooner! It has helped me navigate through my days with less stress. Due to all the wonderful things they offer I learned to organize, communicate, prioritize, and stay healthy all in this app! You’ve got to try this! It’s a lifesaver!

Limeade Refreshing !
This program has a broad approach to health that both makes sense from a evidence standpoint and keeps this lively with a variety of offerings for whole person Health: financial, physical mental well being connection to community and family. Of course, the work is up to us, but the framework of the program keeps in the forefront of my mind to engage in self care and connect with others not only for a he greater good, but for my own. Developers, I would only ask that the meditation offerings be tuned up. The sound quality was off as played by phone and narrator not quite suited.

Great App to Keeping healthier habits
At the beginning a little overwhelming with so many todo possibilities to better daily actions, but the key is starting with small changes one by one. Also I have experienced a lot of fun in some activities involving groups. And huge diversity so there is always something that fits my liking and others perhaps more rewarding requiring more personal effort but equally good. You decide the level of involvement from light to a coaching experience. Highly recommended to never surrender to yourself.

Support Unresponsive
As much as I love having a competitive fitness program to help keep me on track, the app seems to have a lot of bugs that aren’t addressed. Even with the latest updates the app frequently quits or won’t load properly. My FitBit tracker is connected, but Limeade is inconsistent in whether it actually pulls steps from that app (meaning I’ve missed out on points). And their support seems unresponsive. I sent multiple messages, the earliest being a couple weeks ago, and have gotten nothing except their auto-reply email saying they’ll address my problem in 1-2 business days. I really wish this app reached its full potential, because the concept is great.

You didn’t force the review!
The whole reason that you are getting reviewed is because you took the time to make it an option to leave a review. That extra step of asking “so you want to write a review now?” After asking if I was enjoying the app is the best! Thanks for not assuming because I like your app I will go straight to writing a review. Also, the Apple Health support is awesome! Makes this app excellent for meeting my challenges daily and weekly and helping me identify patterns that I can improve. Keep up the good work.

Useful app, but a bit slow
My spouse’s employer uses Limeade as a wellness incentive program. We have both benefited quite a bit from the program, with healthier habits as well as incentives earned. I was excited to start the wellness program again for this year, but the app is really, really slow right now. Logging into the website on Safari works well enough, but I’d rather be able to use the dedicated app (to avoid getting stuck in weird log-in cycles as well as throwing off my screen time tracking/limits). Hopefully there will be an update soon?

Thank you, Limeade!
After breaking my wrist and then diagnosed with a frozen shoulder, I had quit walking 3-4 days a week during my recovery. The Smart Health program and the Limeade app helped motivate me to start up walking again. The Limeade app made it so easy to track my steps with ♥️Health on my iPhone. Now I added my Fitbit device to help more accurately log my steps when I don’t carry my phone on me. Seeing my progress is helping to keep me motivated even when I don’t feel like walking.

Motivation
This program has kept me motivated to stay on track with my health goals. The only frustration I have had is the email webinars are not easy to access i have missed out on many that I was interested in because they did not appear in my email to complete or participate in them. I hope that improves if they are offered next year. This year I have had to log in multiple times everyday. I liked it better last year when I stayed logged in. It is frustrating to get logged out in the middle of my session

User UNfriendly
I despise that my husbands job requires us to go through this healthy steps program for an insurance discount. Limeade has been a most frustrating experience to deal with for years now. Thinking that they turned into “Limeade ONE”, I figured they finally improved their technology to work, as in not be glitchy and inconsistent, but I was mistaken sadly. I could go into detail, but this would be such a long review of ranting, so ill save it. Your app doesn’t work, your website bites as well. I’m pretty sure the entire experience of using limeade is supposed to be frustrating in order to deter people from getting their insurance discount. It’s the only thing that makes sense lol

Become goal oriented
Really nice app for setting health goals and using tech to reach them, including the power of positive peer pressure. However the app (and associated full browser site) is buggy, rendering some features unusable. This is an updated review, and while the bugs change with each update, it’s still a slow and clunky app. My latest annoyance is that the app doesn’t save login info or use biometric login features so you have to type it out and it likes to log you off when you go into some menus. Disappointing.

Great app for health activities all year long!
Good variety of health activities to do on your own or with teams. This is my second year using the tool and I never seem to run out of healthy practices to follow. Some activities last all year (like walking for 5-10k steps per day). Others are one time activities like learning about diabetes prevention. Team activities are fun. Overall it has helped me improve my health and build new healthy habits. I highly recommend.

A Great Learning Experience
There are countless wonderful thoughts, ideas and inspirational quotes that Maya Angelou shared over her lifetime. One of them comes to mind when I reflect on my experience with Limeade thus far. “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” I’ve learned a great many new and better ways of “doing” different things that are a part of my everyday life through the Limeade programs offered...and I am doing better!

Retired vs Working
I like this app and try to log in more often, but many of the items are for working individuals and we are now newly retired (maybe my selections?). Traveling across Europe for 4+ months so we don’t get to the gym or exercise much anymore. Walking 5+ miles a day is now my exercise and an occasional swim, but not anywhere near my varied goals when I was working. I do feel we eat much healthier in Europe and the food tastes so much fresher. One thing we’ve definitely noticed is how little sugar they use in baked goods compared to the US.

Would be great if...
Why is this app like Fort Knox? I have to sign in twice each time I sign in because it wants to know if I’m a robot. It also signs me out daily. I would like the ability to stay signed it for at least a couple of days before I have to go through the whole process again. Even my bank uses facial recognition so I don’t have to type out my password. Maybe I’m being petty, but this is the only app on my phone that makes me type out a password twice (once before proving I’m not a robot and once after) almost every time I want to use it.

Worst app ever
This app is mandatory for my employer. It is the most frustrating, stress inducing, blood pressure raising experienced ever. It constantly crashes, forgets your credentials, & doesn’t recognize accurate credentials. It’s not a user issue- I work in tech, it’s definitely a platform issue. On a different level, if this worked properly it could be great for an individual who made the decision to get healthier and lead a better lifestyle. The UI when functional is decent. However, this is a personal decision and proven over and over that forcing someone to do something usually backfires and makes them not want to. Fix your app please.

Engaging
Totally awesome! I enjoy using this app! I don’t care for the fact that some of the activities that have higher points are those that require group activity. Living in Seattle doesn’t afford me the luxury of joining groups. The people are smug and uptight. They have their own cliques, go to their enclaves, and are unfriendly. Enjoying friendships here is too cumbersome! I enjoy lighthearted friendships where ones ethnicity isn’t an issue. Nevertheless, I am enjoying what parts of the app that I can!!!! Thank you!!

Required for health discount
There are some very informative things in the app. But sometimes I can’t figure out how to get it to track an activity that I have completed. Or it will instruct me to take a follow-up quiz, and I can’t find a link to the quiz. Then, even if it was informational, I feel like I’ve wasted my time because I did it for the health savings points and I spent all that time and can’t get the app to track the activity. So, five stars when it works and one lousy frustrated star when it doesn’t. Average of 3.

Limeade helps with daily life
Challenges fit in with daily routine. At first a challenge like walking was just a prompt and a reminder to move. After 2 years it has become a habit. At first all I did was check a box and now that walking has become a habit, I still check the box and look for other healthy attainable challenges to engage in and try to turn into habits.

Motivational
This App suggests fun ways to stay active and healthy. I choose the ones I like. The point system keeps me motivated to continue when I would otherwise make excuses to stop. Through my employer I get rewarded for sticking with these healthy habits. The only reason I gave it a 4 is it has room for improvement- notifications by email are not effective for me and the “how are you feeling” part I often skip since no points are earned.

Keeping myself accountable
This is an easy program to work. It helps me keep myself accountable to how I’m treating my health and fitness. Plus I’m not doing it alone, there are many or is equally committed and that makes my own commitment far more enjoyable. I think the fact that Mercury is sponsoring this program is showing their own commitment to employees and the people that created limeade are doing the same.

Good not great
The app is good at reminders to improve life/experience. Things that it does not do anymore is track apple devices. No points for steps, moving exercise. Hard to obtain points without logging into work and watching lengthy videos. There is no time, nor are we allowed to do this at work. I do appreciate the material, but some content could be more individualized. For example, exercises could be given for different levels with modifications instead of generalizing to the beginner. Thank you.

Excellent program for a tough time
I started the program in January. Little did I know what the future held in store. The program has helped me a lot through the isolation of working from home, not traveling and not being able to go out for dinner, movies, sports, or gatherings of friends. It is a solid program during normal times, but an essential one during a pandemic.

This is a great app and easy to navigate. The only thing that would make it better would be not to have to keep registering for each date for each activity. One time registration would be easier. Limeade Review
I really like the self-improvement webinars. One point of confusion though is that sometimes the tracking module doesn’t suit what you are trying to answer. For example, the question may be “Did you walk 20 Minutes twice this week ?” and there will be a field with an open block for each of the 7 days. Are you supposed to add a “20” in the blocks or add a “1” because you walked once for 20 Minutes ?
