Macro calculator by Fittur is the best calculator you can find on the App Store to get accurate macro targets. I have been following the macros from this app and have been able to transform my body by losing a ton of fat and have been able to put on more muscle than I ever thought possible. Definitely works both ways: to slim down and cut fat and to build muscle. Thank you for this app!!
Update: It finally finished downloading...and told me I'd reach my goal by May 9th 2020. It's June 5th, 2021 today. 🙄 me thinks this isn't going to work. I launched this app to set it up and after entering a few bits of info about myself, it went to a screen where it says "downloading body fat images". And it's been doing that for over 20 minutes! First off...why is it taking so long? I'm losing hope that this will ever get past this window and actually work. Secondly, why is it downloading something to my iPad without asking me?! It just started doing it. And lastly, why on earth would you call something "body fat images" and make me stare at that for over 20 minutes?! I'm very nervous to see what these look like when they finish, IF they ever finish downloading. Is this app worth it? Beginning to wonder.
I have been a personal trainer for 20 years and this is hands down the best app for calculating macros and calories I’ve ever found! It is extremely user friendly and very clear about everything. I honestly don’t know what else could be done to improve this app, it is THE BEST!!!
I haven’t found a more accurate macro calculator on the App Store. This one bases everything on body fat instead of BMI. Accurate macros in a completely free app. The weight keeps coming off. Love it!
If you want to use an app for 2 minutes then it’s great. It just asks you your height/weight and goals and then the end result they ask you to download a DIFFERENT app (which I assume costs money). Also like everyone else is saying here, the “date you’ll reach your fitness goal” is wrong, it just shows the current date. Deleting immediately.
I saw many others post reviews a year or more ago complaining about the target date that is in the past. I assumed it was a bug and must have been resolved by now so I downloaded the app only to find out bug still exists. How hard can it be to fix?
Its a good app if you want to be told how much of everything to eat. However, if you want to input your own nutritional goals, i don't see a way to do it. Looked good otherwise.
But his one gives me 3 choices: cut fat/lose weight; build musc/gain wt; or a third one. None of these is me. I only want to track my macros. Deleting this and going for another app.
I opened the app, I entered all my information, and a screen came up telling me to go download another app. (The one that tracks your macros, and you have to pay.) It wouldn't let me off the screen. And on top of that it did not calculate my macros like it's supposed to! This app feels like clickbait!
Sends you to another app to download, misleads you into reaching goal within 60days, which was already unrealistic, and then in the New app it asks you to Dowload, biometrics entered again only to see there is now 8 months to reach your desired goal. What a scam
Today is January 28, 2022. I entered all the info and it says that I will reach my goal by July 6, 2021.🤦🏻♀️ Also, it requires another app to be downloaded. Please, fix this.
I can’t trust this app. Today is April 12, 2023 and my goal will be reached my Feb, 2023. This is me losing over 20 lbs. ummm no thank you. I’ll pass on this one.
Today is 10/22/2022. I put in my info and the app calculated my goal date to be 11/6/2021!! LOL. I tried this again and it gave me a date of 2/22/2022, like 7 months BEFORE I discovered this joke of an app!
