I really enjoy reading the Mankato Free Press on my phone. It has so easy to use and always with be. Occasionally something gets blurred but then it clears up so I can read. That might be on my end!! Thank you for providing this option! I’m older and it is much easier for me to see and read this way!!
I love that our town has a local paper and love even more that they have invested in a digital platform. Especially since I am away for about 6 months. It is easy to read and navigate (even when I accidentally hit something that makes the paper split into 4-I can quickly figure out how to get back to format I like). I like that it looks like the paper and I can see the layout as a newspaper rather than an online magazine or website. Thank you Mankato Free Press. I love the local coverage and access to it digitally so I can keep in touch no matter where I am.
My wife and I are pleased with our electronic access to the daily Free Press, especially during this winter season. Not only is the e-version a mirror copy of the paper version, but also it helps to reduce our environmental impact—and it saves a trip into the cold each morning. The only issue we have is that we are not sure how to delete previously read editions from our devices and, being part of the technically-challenged generation, have a difficult time trying to decipher the terminology explaining how.
I am originally from the area and really enjoy being able to catch up on the ‘goings on’. I do not have a subscription and I still able to get the news. Thank you for bringing a little ‘home’ to me.
Convenient when I’m away from home. Even though I subscribe and read the paper edition, it’s nice to have the local news available on my iPad. Compact and easy to read.

This app shows the exact same stories as the website including the "see x paper for the rest of the story." There is no extra value here besides they can say they have an app. I am immediately removing this app. Try again and this time research what other newspaper apps are doing and actually spend some money making an experience.
I used to love reading this daily but recently there have been annoying ads with flys crawling and people walking. They make it extremely difficult to read anything which seems to be counter intuitive for a news app. Please reconsider allowing these ads to run on your app.
I love getting the paper on my phone and when it lets me in its a decent app. However about every 5 or 10 days it forgets my login credentials and I have to reset my password to get logged in again. It never seems to remember my password and I have to keep requesting a reset and makea new one. It's very frustrating!
The app is not worthwhile. It gives you 8 free articles a month, however when I select an article it opens a different one. I can only read the first paragraph and the article won't scroll. If this is how the paid subscription works then I will not even consider signing up.
I understand you wanting to make all the money you can, but this is ridiculous. You can read x amount of articles. Lol. I'll just read the articles on the other papers that don't charge. Theres a lot of other options out there.
Freezes and crashes with the new update. It worked well before they changed it. I'm thinking of canceling our subscription. No point in keeping it if I can't use it.
This app is horrible. Every time you push on a news story it crashes!! Why are you not fixing it, been this way since the new update!! Awful!! Please fix soon!!
