Local news is great.

I enjoy getting the News Journal on line and having an update on the local news. I miss the old school newspaper on my doorstep though. I always enjoyed the puzzles. We don’t have a printer so I can’t do the puzzles anymore.

Local news and high school sports

I think this paper does a good job to local news and The paper does a good job including positive influence on school sports , music It is so nice to see students getting noticed for their academic and sports performance versus young people not in front of video or getting involved with crime and drugs It makes a huge difference to encourage children to make good choices and seeing their name in the paper for making good choices

App is horrible

I enjoy reading the paper. But all the advertising in the selected articles make it very difficult to read. I don’t get why you have so many ads I payed to receive this information. I will definitely not be purchasing your app version in the future.

Can’t cancel subscription

Signed up for the 1$ for three months. Second month in, and I’m billed $6.99. Trying to cancel but the manage subscription option won’t load. Seems like a shady trick to make it difficult to cancel, expect better from a legitimate site.

No getting what I pay for

I have not been able to see The obituaries in Mansfield news journal since mid July why am I still paying for this.

Won't open

Ever since I updated my app it won't open. It's no longer my go to source for local news. The print edition is too thin, and quite honestly a joke. I'll be canceling my subscription soon.

Obits

I can no longer see the obits. Only the highlight ones. For this reason i will be canceling my subscription when it expires on the 20th of this month

do not subscribe

They intentionally slow down and neglect to update portions of the app dealing with subscriptions. (particularly cancelling your subscription) They do it to make it difficult to cancel, dirty trick by mnj. Do better.

Really Great Local Reliable News Source

I'm very thankful for the new journal they cover more news in Mansfield than anybody there are up-to-date with breaking news severe weather I'm glad for that reliable source because you don't get that much breaking news or hardly any breaking news on your mobile device from WMFD

Good for viewing news, but not for maintaining account

I like getting the headlines on my phone. However, I have tried several times to place temporary stop from the app and have gotten a message that the maintain account application is not available, but I was able to immediately sign in to the web page and place the hold.

Local news hound

So enjoy the News Journal. I read both versions, headline news and the regular paper online. I would encourage others for the convenience of having the paper wherever you are.

Keeps you up to date and informed

This app allows me to effortlessly stay up to date on events, weather and activities. Easy to maneuver & navigate through.

This app is good and saves not having to read the paper. I can obtain concise info. They update info throughout the day when there is breaking news.

Some pages will not load

Sports page will not load, still have to have paid service because they feel they are not making enough money on selling papers. Maybe print some worth while material you may sell more papers.

The way this app is designed is user friendly. Good information that is timely.

I'm a subscriber set up to use facebook to log in. The app does not know I have facebook installed on my iPhone 6. After logging in, it says I'm logged in but the articles remain locked.

Pretty good

For the most part it's a good app. Some of the headlines they notify you of as "breaking news" is questionable. But over all it's fine.

No Obits

Don't mean to be morbid, but there are no obits. At least I couldn't find them. That's part of the news.

Not a deal

Tried to sign up for the 29.99 year promotional price and it still charged the 69.99+tax that is not what I was expecting and that is too much money for what you get.

Slow, Missing Features

App is slow on evey iOS device I own, horrific on Android. You cannot do any account maintenance or inquiries with the app. When you try to access the site it keeps opening the app!
