good app. I always liked Marvel so I always liked this app a lot. However, my only problem has always been that the App is very restricted in its free form so it becomes a bit boring and most of all, HARD to be able to color it 100%. The subscription is also very expensive and I wish that the “Ultimate Access” was cheaper or at least they added more colors and fills to the free version. if only they had a 12 bucks annual subscription. It also bothers me a lot that you can only color the first page of each chapter of a book except the daily pages. However the app is still very good and I highly recommend it as it has a good variety of books from Darth Vader to Young Marvel to Tsum Tsum. If you are a fan of Venom, Captain America, Doctor Strange or Thor (which are the heroes that appear most often) and you don't mind that SOME drawings look bad, this is your coloring application.
I have had this app since it came out and at first I loved it. It combined two things I enjoy marvel and art but then it started making me upset. When I got the app it used to give you two free drawings to color for each chapter released and the rest were for premium members only. That was totally fine with me because I was okay with only having two free drawings out of a chapter because I can’t afford to get the membership. Then each chapter started coming with one free drawing which was a little disappointing to me because I couldn’t color as much and the drawings tended to be relatively plain but nonetheless I was happy to color a drawing each chapter. I just went on the app the other day (like I do everyday) and I saw the new chapter was out and I was excited to see what my one free drawing would be from this chapter but I was frustrated when I clicked on it and saw that none of the drawings are free anymore. I really loved this app at first but now I’m frustrated that I don’t even get to color anything. I used to get on this app when I was anxious or stressed but now I can’t even use the app without paying to use the it. It’s frustrating because what’s the point of having an app if you can’t even use it.
First of all, I would like to proceed by stating my experience and opinion. I really enjoyed the app to begin with and thought it was a very well developed game. But, over time I noticed two major flaws and red flags for me. The first flaw being most of the pages are locked and I understand they want you to buy premium but more than three fourths of the pages are locked. Next, every time I was more than 50% finished and it would glitch and put this staticky pattern looking black shapes over my hero’s I coloured and take the paint off completely, while this made me more than frustrated I could never remove it completely and frankly it just wasted my time. I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this glitch but I hope it can be fixed soon. If anyone has experienced this aggravating glitch leave a response or comment letting me know what your review on this app was, and opinions on the program.
It is cool, but also doesn’t make sense and it needs to take away some things that are in the game
I think the game is cool. It doesn’t make sense why I have Star Wars as one of the things that you can color, which is also very cool but it makes no sense why I have like a setting where you can delete color half of your page are use that it messed up my whole entire drawing. Don’t use it. Don’t use it every time I use, shading shade a.k.a. fading away. I just think it’s good but I just need some changes to it.
I love to color marvel characters like the game you made I really do you like the game you made because it allows us to color. I’ll give you a five star review because I like this game and I think it was a good idea for you to make it actually a really good idea. Do you Think that you could make a nother game like this. I’ve always loved Marvel characters I’ve always watched it and I’ve always love to color in my coloring book since I was five it was actually a marvel coloring book but I really thought that it was a zombie coloring book because some of the characters look like zombies are we start the Marvel characters were zombiesBecause I was making up a comic book like that. I really hope that this game stays around forever because I think it will be a very good game for everyone and I think everyone will like it.
I think Marvel Color Your Own is a great app. It's fun and relaxing and has lots of great features, from different brush types, to tons of different colors and special effects. There's enough variety to keep me interested, but it's also simple enough for my 7 year old to enjoy. It has a great selection of pages to choose from, with new ones coming out all the time. I have read some of the negative reviews, like "Could be Better" and feel like some of these people don't understand how to use the app correctly as some of their complaints aren't really accurate. I would recommend this to any Marvel comics fan. It makes be feel like I could be a comic book artist!
The color ability works great, and the art/panels available were all too cool that I only lasted a week before expanding into the subscription trial. Improvements: 1. There should be some info/data about the comic while coloring. Things like issue number and year. Also, An original version of the page to reference colors would make the coloring experience more fun 2. DC comics need their own version of this 3. I think some organization tools for pages you’ve colored would make great features
Maybe if they added a zoom in /out and or a fit to screen button? I like the pictures and would love to color a lot of the locked ones...BUT it gets really frustrating when you try to zoom in to get all the little spots by pinching you’re recoloring stuff you already colored. Sometimes you don’t realize till you finally get it to zoom out and the you can’t undo enough times to get it back and even if you do you still HAVE to zoom back in to recolor the little spots again. I LIKE a lot of the brush options that come with the free option and there’s plenty of stuff I’d like to try with the paid but I’m not paying for anything when it’s frustrating just to use what’s already available.
I love Marvel, and I love to color. The app functionality is actually pretty neat. It is missing some Apple Pencil features such as double tap to change tools, and most drawing apps when connected to a pencil uses your finger as an eraser, this app doesn’t. So why am I giving this app a 1 star review? Their subscription pricing. Their yearly option ($25/year) isn’t bad, I was ready to subscribe to that! But then I noticed something. They try to trick me, and all of their customers into subscribing weekly for $5, which comes out to $265/year. They put the price in the fine print, and promote the 7 day trail. This is shady business practice and Apple should step in. Check your subscription settings on this app to make sure you’re not overpaying!
I really don't understand the people who complain about the cost of this app. It's less than the cost of a cheeseburger a week. Like, seriously...? The amount of work that goes into designing, maintaining, improving, and marketing apps like this would blow your mind. These artists and developers are real people and this is their real job. They deserve a paycheck like everyone else. This app is awesome and really one of a kind---I'd be happy to skip a cheeseburger to contribute instead to quality work like this.
The daily free art is enough to keep you busy and there is a decent selection of free art in the individual collections. But to pay the extraordinary prices for weekly or even monthly is outrageous. I get my Marvel Unlimited subscription for about the same with access to tens of thousands of comic books. Would love to have access to the other brushes and fills but not at those costs. App can be buggy at times with crashes and pages that come up as blank. But all in all a good time waster. Just don’t waste the money for a membership.
Great app. Fun times. You can reside without membership but a lot of things are locked. I find the price too much. The fact that it isn’t permanent is annoying too. For a price like that there’s so much more you could do. Worth downloading if you’re a fan and like coloring but don’t get membership. If you just want to color with premium then check the App Store for them. The price is cheaper and it lasts because it isn’t membership, just purchase.
This app is good but the amount of coloring pages are limited due to the trial not everybody has money like that I can’t pay for this and my mom is definitely not. I’m not telling u to not to make your bread keep the trial thing. But u can at least give us more pages to work with besides one on each section like marvel masters section why can’t u just give us for and the rest we have to pay for. This is my frustrations and probably some ppls who use this app to. It’s just aggravating as hell not being able to do the ones i that I like truly and maybe you’ll take this into consideration.
I really love this app However it needs hundreds more coloring books and pages from all marvel movies and heroes and villains and we all don’t have enough money for subscriptions on this app so please do Free coloring books and pages because I like to color pages plus not every app has subscriptions so how about watching short ads to unlock them and we can keep coloring

I am a huge Marvel nerd, so I was very happy to find this app. The pictures are amazing and it makes me feel like a real artist. However, you only get one picture from each chapter if you don’t pay for the subscription. I really don’t want to pay because my account is connected to my moms credit card. Still amazing app I recommend if you are a Marvel fan.
I never write reviews for apps but this is easily my favorite iPad app. I color for hours and it keeps my anxiety at bay. I love Marvel comics and coloring them even more. I think the UI needs some work and indexing of the pages so newer marvel fans can see which characters are in the design they're coloring and even read more about them on their own.
This game is the most colorful game in a pickle avengers this year like this is half the way it before just like it before the whites and before that you just don’t get it because you don’t give up on you doing that because because you don’t do what you doing because that what you do and you doing is that what you do when you just come in danger because you’re just a color avengers
Now this game would be a five star if everything was free, charge for the game not make people pay every month or year. Do you honestly the people who made the some of the drawings want to have people pay to color them. Is this what Stan Lee wanted, I don’t think so. Make everything free of charge. If you don’t agree with that then make all the drawings free, and still pay for some coloring tools and have some premium book. This game would be a lot better if all pictures are free.
I didn’t like this game because most the pages were locked and I get it they wanted to make you buy premium and every time I tried to click on a white spot it would click something else and then you have to find that color again it would disappear and now you have to find a color that looks like it and and another thing was it was so hard to finish a page because I didn’t know that much of what the comics characters looked like so I had to keep asking Siri for help
The subscription is a little pricy but 25$ a year is a pretty nice deal. This app is so much fun. I draw marvel stuff all the time and wish I could color them but I’m horrible at coloring so I don’t. But then I got this and wow. There’s so many things to color with pencils,markers,paint brushes you can even do paint splatter which is awesome. I love coloring all my favorite marvel comics characters. That’s why I give it five stars
I really like color your own marvel because it means that I finally get a chance to see my favorite superheroes, and more like Deadpool I had no idea what deadpool was. So be sure to get this app and you’ll see all kinds of new superheroes. I have an idea for the app though. Maybe if we finish our 145 pictures then it would unlock 145 more
First, if you don’t mind having to pay for it it’s really not that bad. A good way to relax and still enjoy your Marvel fix. I’ve been a fan for over 30 years now and I am enjoying this so far. The biggest problem I do have with this app is if you are making a paid app it should have a family shaving option as well. It would be nice to sit down with the kids and each one come up with their own...
I love it and have had it for probably about a year now. You never get tired of it because of the daily new pages, and the frequent new chapters of pages. It be great if they put info on what comic book # each coloring page is from. I like using those as references, but that takes a lot of searching.
I downloaded this for free and colored one sheet then never opened the app again. Just received a charge for a subscription fee now?!? Not authorized or any notification that I was going to be charged. No problem with the actual app, but I didn’t want to pay for anything so it would never have been downloaded if I would have known this would happen. EDIT: Just found another email were I was charged AGAIN for the same app subscription, 7 days after the first. Will be reporting and have already deleted. Buyer beware.
Well I would like if you get ☝️ coloring page each day rather then ✋ every day! Oh and don’t think I didn’t notice you added Han Solo and Vader! This is a really fun game and I love that there are no numbers. The only thing I dont like about this is that you have to have a subscription to be able to color 90% of the pictures. It would also be nice if we had a picture that we could use for difference if we dont know what a certain person looks like.
It’s a very fun past time, but the problem is when you go back to a drawing, there are these white lines between the color and the art. It’s really annoying and almost ruins it. Still giving it four because I would still 100% recommend
Great app but when will ALL of Pigment’s tools be ported over???
As an annual subscriber to both Marvel Coloring and Pigment, I’d like to say that I feel both apps deliver great value. My only peeve is that I would really like to be able to use the Smudge tool and all the other neat tools on the Pigment app. Especially being able to mix your own colors. That would be dope!
I used to have a year subscription, and it ran out... I didn’t renew at the time and went to renew it 2 weeks later... I guess they don’t do a year subscription anymore... the monthly is way too high of a price, I would have gladly paid what I used to for a year. Sad day as I really liked this app but just didn’t use it frequently enough to pay monthly at the price they want
This app is cool but the prices for the full access are insane. $7 a month for a coloring app? I would MAYBE pay it if the app didn’t glitch when I save a picture then come back. When I reopen a saved piece, there are now random white areas all over, that had previously been colored in. You can’t expect people to pay that much money for a coloring app that can’t even properly save your art.
It gives you a 7 day trial! Which is good... but if you don’t get the trial you only have 1 page in each library... I just think that’s messed up! They should have more free drawings! I mean I like it but... it doesn’t give my that creativity I want when all of the good ones are blocked for me! Btw I am a girl so don’t you dare call me a boy k? I mean you can call me a tomboy! The tools that are available for free are great. I’ve been enjoying coloring the pages that are available for free, too. For me, it’s both relaxing and allows creativity without mess. I’d gladly BUY access to more coloring tools and/or more pages but rental? Really?! What a terrible, greedy idea. Were the tools purchasable then I’d do so and give this app a 5-star rating. I will NOT support this business model, though.
Love this app! It allows me to color some of my favorite Marvel heroes and villains and work on my coloring skills with learning layers and shades. For the developers, any chance of a DC version like this one?!? That would be awesome to have and would probably end up using that one more!!
I use this app everyday and I would love to color in a scarlet witch/ vision chapter! I’m exited for Wandavison and wanted to make a drawing with scarlet witch and vision in it... but there are only like 2 pictures with them! I want more!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also I think a secret invasion chapter would be really cool! Developers please read this.
Wow! I love this app Because it lets me color without having to worry about coloring inside the lines. It also lets me show what I think the Characters should look like. Most importantly though it shows my personality and creativity. I love this app and I think that everyone should have it.
This is marketed more so for kids, and with that being said, you have to enter a trial period for a week that begins to bill a total of 5.34 every week thereafter. I didn’t realize this unfortunately until I had been billed over $90. They set up the weekly billing in hopes that this will happen. The slimiest app I’ve seen on the App Store. Apple can only return 2 months worth if bills, so I paid over $48 for a stupid coloring book that doesn’t get used!! I would give them a negative rating if I could!
If you are a marvel fan or just an artist looking for some fun this is pretty much the best coloring book you could get. The worst thing I could say is you have to buy a monthly subscription for most of the pages but their are a lot that are free though so win win.
Y’all are a great game but can I ask you something why can’t we color every page and why pay for them I am going to give you a 1star if you do not let us do every page. And do it by February the 14 alright have those adjustments see you the 14
I like the idea of this app, but there’s not enough variety in the daily coloring pages lately. There are so many characters who don’t have any coloring pages, yet Captain Carter has gotten a free coloring page every few days for weeks now. I’d love to see other characters getting a chance rather than the same character over and over.
Marvel needs to seriously pull their license, from these thieves who call themselves app developers. Charging people $5/$6/$24 subs for a coloring book, is utterly insane! We can go to a store, and buy better books - that contain better pictures, for 5x cheaper, than this “app” has to offer. I’m 7 years old and I think the app is GREAT! ULTRA Fan Of Disney who created ya’ll, My mom said no Free Trial! I almost cried, But I tried to color withOUT Free Trial, And I hated it! Please please Talk to the Manager or somebody to make the brushes and effects free! I’m an Anime drawer.. Spent a year almost and a half doing this!! So that means... My daughters have been playing with coloring apps so I thought I would give one a try. Way more fun than I could have imagined would be. Lots of colors and pages that are free. I became so satisfied that I purchased the yearly subscription.
It was a fun app until it stopped allowing me to color in any pictures. You can tap on the image all you want, but no color appears anymore. I’d try to reinstall but I’d probably loose all the pictures I have access too.
It’s all great besides every thing that’s locked. It would be awesome if there were way more coloring pages if you could let us pick five or six that we want to color in each section for free and more Thanos pictures. And all the daily downloads are free and unlocked that would make the game so much better. Maybe a little less comic book
Huge Marcel fan but I have honestly found that this app helps me so much with my anxiety and helps keep me grounded when I’m feeling stressed. Many options to choose from to color and edit. Happy I subscribed
I like this app a lot,I really wish there were more Bucky barns pictures that I could culler. I don’t like the fact that I have to pay for pictures tho. All in all it’s a good app I would recommend to anyone...............................PS Bucky is awesome!!!!!!
Another great app from Pixite. I really enjoyed Pigment and Assembly too. Had some issues with the installation but they have great customer support. Reached out to me within the hour to troubleshoot. Issue was resolved and began coloring. No complaints. Now bring on the DC coloring app! Looking forward to it!
This coloring book is great and I love that it includes some of my favorite characters and that there are some Star Wars pictures as well. The only thing that I would like to see is if the premium version only applied to paying for the additional colors and brushes. That way everyone could have all of the pictures available to enjoy.
This app is really fun, but you probably wish you could color all the pages, but you can just sign up for the subscription and then cancel it and you can still color on the locked ones for free! Works for me!
