It would be very helpful if this app would give the correct cost of the medication to the member rather than giving an estimated cost. When someone is working on a tight budget, an estimated cost doesn’t help much. Thank you.
My husband and I both have entered our information in their system numerous times, it never saves. Or the app crashes while reentering it. Doing it online gives the same results. It never sticks. We save it and it’s there but next time we long in it’s like we never entered it. They’re constantly telling us they don’t have some piece of our information. ALSO Prescriptions take almost a week after they are sent by the doctor to be filled. The representative told us it takes them 72 hours before they even know they have received a new prescription. Then they wait to call you to ask permission to fill it. Really? Why do I need to give permission? I was at the doctor and know I need to take it. Absolutely horrible! Then it takes a week to receive once shipped. We are still waiting for a script sent on 7/13, today is the 26th. That’s half a month! By that time you’re out of medication. I cannot go 2 weeks without my thyroid medication. I don’t know how anyone else can wait that long either. What if you’re diabetic and need insulin?
as other reviewers mentioned, “add to apple wallet” just produces an error message that the card wasn’t added. trying to update notification preferences doesn’t work either, just keeps saying “We are unable to process you requested this time. Please try again later. If the issue still persists, please contact our support team.” same with adding allergies, payment info, etc. also, when checking the opportunities to save by changing pharmacy, most of the pharmacy names are cut off… doesn’t do me any good if you don’t tell me which pharmacy it is!!!
MedImpact is very user friendly. Great info for when rx can be refilled, costs if any are noted. App says estimated cost, but I’ve found very accurate. If refills are necessary, after picking rx for refill Dr is contacted and refills are taken care of with no effort from me other than initial request to refill. Great App!
I like to use a tablet with a keyboard. It is virtually impossible to do so with this app because it won’t switch to landscape mode. Typing on a keyboard with your head turned sideways just doesn’t work. I end up using my phone instead- which in most instances is much less efficient.
Doesn’t let me save info to passwords in settings which forces me to log in every time I open the app. Secondly, there is a thumbprint icon next to log in seemingly indicating you can use your biometrics. Nope. Once in app, there’s no location to turn on biometrics for log in. Needs some reworking in that sense.
I really like how easy this app is to use. One thing I wish it would do is alert me when I've refilled a medication and it allows me to update the quantity based on the number of tablets dispensed.
i’ve tried everything to get back onto this app, but every time I go to download it, it won’t actually download or let me click open the app I’ve tried turning off my phone I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, but it just puts the little square on my home screen and then won’t let me click to open up.
The MedImpact website is difficult to log into as you MUST enter your user name and password before you can use your facial recognition, which seems unnecessarily redundant as other more data sensitive websites, banking, investments, etc only require facial recognition.
I upgraded to the latest version and it still works lousy. Have to log in to activate face recognition? Really? What’s the point? Has a button to add ID card to Apple wallet that never works. We should be able to do better than this in 2023.
Needs a lot of work. Navigation is clunky at best. Go to see what a shipment contains and you can’t return to previous screen. Need to do something, go to the website.
Wanted me to update my password. Password requirement screen is covered up by the confirm Password box. Unable to log in after attempting all kinds of different types of passwords. Goodbye app…..Heading to the drugstore from now on!
Following a long string of difficulties with their supply of drugs, now they have released a version of their app that will not open to allow access to medications.
Keeps Crashing on latest version. And calling takes so long going through all my info to verify myself and then go through it all again to confirm order.
Persistent error stating “Sorry, the card was not added to your wallet. Please try again later.” This was the only reason I bothered downloading the app, so it’s entirely useless for me.
I’ve been able to sign in to the app and that’s about it! Works great on my PC but I can’t carry that with me, that’s what apps are for! Come on! Get it fixed!!
Seriously, I thought this was a real mobile app! I'm using an iPhone 11pro and the app only will work properly when the phone is held horizontally. When horizontal the page displays properly, but only small areas are visible at a time without scrolling up and down, left or right. I signed on using facial recognition and the box was checked to remember me. As I scrolled down the page to “my prescriptions” I see some but not all until I come to a link to “see all prescriptions”, which takes me to another area. Based on the information showing, it doesn't indicate if they're new scripts in the process of being filled and shipped, or older scripts, only the number of refills remaining. When I attempted click on an item, the page is greyed out with a warning message saying “no card on file”. Assuming that means that you want a form of payment on file before I am able to do anything on your website. Mistakenly I attempted to add a “card”, like sheep being led to slaughter. With all of the appropriate information added I pressed enter, only to be disconnected from the website. Interesting up popped the login page with my login filled in, and facial recognition engaged, filling in my password. I thought that's great because I didn't recall the password. Unfortunately, the password that worked fine 15 minutes ago when I first logged on no longer was the acceptable password now. After trying multiple times possible passwords, and being declined I am on my last nerve. Btw, I see you couldn't even manage to allow for the password typed in to be seen, like most other modern sites. Who designed your site, Mickey Mouse? Maybe it was the same folks who requested a tier exception for me on a medication only to have it was denied because I hadn't tried the prerequisite number of other drugs first. With electronic records in place you would like to think they would know that I've taken the medication for years, after trying multiple other medications without the desired result. Now you think you deserve my banking information?!! What planet are you from?
As of 2023, Medimpact no longer allows Amazon Pharmacy for meds delivery. Seems the company has its own direct mail pharmacy, Birdi, which is more expensive of course. Even without insurance my meds would be cheaper through Amazon than with insurance with Birdi (but not cheaper than local pharmacy).
