Love this app!

The layout of the app is very clean and easy to navigate. I also think the articles and content are well written and informative. I’ll definitely be renewing my subscription when the time comes.

Great all around news coverage

The Metro west daily news always has the best breaking news reports. This has been my go to news coverage for over thirty years.

No need to read the clipboard

With the new iOS privacy features, I was distressed to see that when I open the app it immediately reads whatever was left in the phone’s clipboard. An app whose purpose is to deliver news articles has no need to collect such info.

Privacy gone

To much advertising pop-ups. Can’t simply read epaper without pop-ups. Will cancel subscription unless can find way to get rid of pop-ups.

These opinion pages aren’t currently updated… Why do I pay an online subscription for opinion piece that’s four months old?

The new app doesn’t work as well as the old app.

The new app doesn’t work as well as the old app. I have no idea why it was changed, but I am not happy with this version.

Not Good

Worked fine until last update. Crashes when you leave start page. Update 3/8/19- won't open at all. The app is great when it works. But not now. Please fix!

Good for locals

Believe it or not one of my favorite things about this app is actually the inclement weather warnings. I get a banner on my phone about flash flooding and rough storms in a timely fashion and I've found it to be pretty accurate. The app itself can be a little difficult to navigate sometimes. The articles are pretty good but do reflect the audience the MW Daily was intended for (i.e. a specific area of MA).

Good start, looking forward to more development cycles!

Good, very basic app. Very nice to get tailored local news on my phone. Would like to see them continue development on this, working out some formatting issues, and allowing for greater control of what the end user sees when viewing the summary of headlines (for example, the ability to view a few sentences about each article, or just the headline). Would like to see more articles posted online per day (right now, only a few are added each day). Keep it up. This is the way to go!

Metro west daily news

Great local news source. I've been trying to subscribe to this with no luck. After I've viewed a number of articles I'm asked to subscribe but have been unable to. Have been reading this paper since the 1970s and would like to be able to continue uninterrupted but have been unsuccessful in contacting the subscription Dept. ????

Good for local news....

It's an ok app. Good for local news. A bit slow to start up. I wish it would have more news and more town specific news.

Needs to be updated more

I like the idea of having Framingham news on the site. It has interesting news regarding the persons arrest or some disturbances going on in the area. I just would like to see it updated more and I just went seems like once a day. With that said, I do read it regularly look for updates.

I travel for business and love the mix of news, sports and business available with the MetroWest Daily News app. They play an important role in keeping me connected with community.

I don't get the paper , but still on occasion want to know whats going on around the metrowest. This app lets me check in whenever I want.

Not bad to keep up with news blurbs, need print or paid subscription to read complete articles. However, even print version is 60% ads.

I wish this app had more to offer

I would like to be able to read all of the sections.. Including the police news. This app just isn't that great.

Joke of a newspaper...Joke of an app

The app is updated once a day (somewhere around midnight) with less than 5 new news stories. Most have no information. Don't waste your time! If I could give it NO STARS I would!

Works poorly

This app works poorly. When you go to a section to load a story or an obit, it says not available. Stories don't load from main screen. This is disappointing

Few headlines. Can't believe there is a Monthly limit to access stories. I can find the info in other places!

Advertisement too aggressive for subscription

The basic app is great,sections, breaking news, And easy navigation. The be problem is aggressive advertisement To subscribe to the e-edition. Read one item And fade to subscribe. In addition products Pop-up and won't go away no matter how Many times you touch the circled 'ax'.
